SO cute! Love love their branding. We had lattes and muffins, but I loved all their merch. I’ll definitely visit again when we visit Austin again. 🤩🤩

Google
Honestly the best price/value for coffee in Austin ! My husband and I opted for a $4 20oz barista’s choice iced lattes & they came out great ! The staff is always nice & in general the iced turbo is good. My only critique is that sometimes the drinks can be a bit sweet, but that can be cut with cold brew

Google
Overpriced, and not worth it. 6:55 AM and the place looked closed. I was in a rush and stopped. I reluctantly bought the tacos as I was in a rush ($4.50). Figured would be decent size with that price. NO! Never again Jo's. You got me once. $16.50 for a cold danish and 2 mini tacos. Never again.

Came in for a dirty chai yesterday and Olivia was so amazing she was very kind and we talked so much about our day and just life! I appreciated that she also took the time to make sure that I was happy with how my drink came out I will be definitely coming back thank you Olivia for having such an amazing personality!!

Google
The convenience of a drive thru always tricks me into stopping here, but I'm always disappointed. The lattes are usually too sweet and burnt tasting.

Excellent and fast! I’ve been to this Jo’s location about 8 times now, and it’s always exceeded expectations. I’m someone who likes consistency, and their drinks and food are very consistent in flavor. I’ve also never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes in line at the drive thru even with 3+ cars in front of me. Take it from me, this is waaaaay better than ⭐️💵! They have way more food options and the service is so friendly.

Google
I was sorely disappointed in the food here. I paid $7 for the dinkiest taco I’ve ever encountered in Austin. It was so tiny! The tortilla was soggy. The filling was bland. I can’t believe they get away with charging that much for what was delivered. I would not recommend this to anyone. Not worth the money! Can’t speak for the coffee, though. On the bright side, the person at the drive through window was very sweet.

Google
Happy to see Jos expanding. There are about half a dozen tables inside. The coffee was great and the staff was friendly. They have WiFi and sell an assortment of food (tacos & pastries). They sell coffee beans and merch too.

Yelp
I've since been back to Jo's a couple of times to work during the day. They have outlets, plenty of seating, and strong wifi. I have not gotten the breakfast tacos again but have gotten the Jalapeño bagel a few times which is surprisingly really tasty and I have been enjoying the Iced Belgian coffee drink as well. Going to try the lunch menu items next.

Yelp
This coffee is overly saturated with sugar and the whip cream was not the best tasting. I would not be eager to come back to this place.

Yelp
always a must stop for me in austin. great service, nice place to sit and chill for a bit. home to my favorite coffee drink the iced turbo, its on tap and it damn good. for a local coffee joint its a solid option.

Yelp
Wanted to give this location a little love. Always clean and comfortable and I really enjoy their carrot muffin and am away happy to find a place nearby with creative coffee drink options, especially made with coconut.

Yelp
So glad there a Jo's Coffee down south. Breakfast tacos and burritos. Coffees. Pastries. All available inside or via drive through!

Yelp
My first trip to Jo's Coffee was very underwhelming. While the coffee was fine and the new location was clean, they were out of many food items by the time I stopped in. For food, I ordered a hash brown breakfast taco and was SO disappointed. It had been premade and was sitting in a warmer. It's giving GAS station. The taco was mushy, flavorless, and way too small for the price. Yes, the coffee was fine (I got the honey lavendar latte off of the specials menu) and the barista was nice enough. But there was nothing that stood out enough for me to go back. Solid 2.5-3 out of 5 stars.

Yelp
Had a great experience here this morning! Quickly stopped in around 8:15am and didn't have to wait too long. This location is kind of in a weird spot, and if they get as busy as, say Chick-Fil-A does at lunch time, I can see how things could turn hectic. There's not a lot of places to maneuver your vehicle if you're trying to enter the drive-thru line, so I'd recommend coming during off-peak hours. I just got lucky today. If you're exiting the drive-thru line, I highly recommend turning right / driving out on Menchac going south -- if you exit the drive-thru line turning left, and a line has built for the drive-thru, you will have to wait until the cars move. Just a minor annoyance but the way people drive these days, everyone is in a hurry and everyone is first. Ordered a breakfast taco and latte and both were delicious. Next time I'll ask for my latte extra hot, it was just warm when I took the first sip and I like my coffee HOT. Very friendly service, too!

Yelp
Finally we got a drive thru Jos Coffee in this town and as a southie I have to admit I really love that I can drive up and grab an Iced Turbo! Extra points to not have to figure out where to park in order to get your Turbo fix. Tacos are slightly overpriced here but can work out for you in a pinch and you need a breakfast item to grab and go. Service is always prompt and staff are friendly as heck here and helpful. Inside is gorgeous and a great spot to do some reading or even get some work done.

Yelp
I ordered a large coffee with oat milk and a pumpkin muffin. The coffee and the muffin were both delicious; BUT, over $10 for just that??? I left trying to figure out in my head how much each of those must could possibly cost; didn't get a receipt. I'm not sure I'll return at those price--in spite of the quality and taste.

Yelp
This is my preferred coffee shop. I love the coffee and we share the same social values. However, the tacos are terrible. $4.50 for a small taco that's been sitting in a steamer. For $4.50 i expect the filling to be flowing out of the tortilla. I've ordered them several times out of convenience and every time I regret it. I will still get my coffee there but I can't pay for another taco. Everything else is awesome at Jo's!!

Yelp
This was the first Jo's location I had been to in Austin. My sister loves their matcha lemonade but I personally did not like it haha but to each their own. I got the Iced Turbo and I can say that both of the drinks needed some more ice. The tacos were pretty normal-sized, but $4-4.50 for a small breakfast taco? Definitely Austin. I got the breakfast burrito for a whopping $10 and it was humongous. Good though. But a smaller one, half the size and a fraction of the price would be a cool option. Service was good, We were able to get some more ice. The ambiance was fine. Normal.

Samantha R.

Yelp
$8.66 for the weakest and lightest colored matcha I've ever seen. Horrible premade matcha lmfao

JulianDenman D.

Yelp
Cons: 17 bucks for a matcha latte, and 2 very small tacos. The portion sizes alone are horrible for the price. The tacos themselves were premade and put in a warmer hours ago obviously, so the tortillas were almost soggy once I actually opened them and ate them. For the price I was expecting freshly made tacos but that is not at all what I got. On top of that they ask for a tip at the drive thru window which was not at all deserved now that I know what I was paying for. I know of gas stations that serve similar if not better quality tacos. If this is standard "Jos" practice then I'm definitely not returning. Pros: I didn't go inside but it seems to have a clean and orderly storefront. Fast and Friendly service too. ( Only reason I didn't rate 1 star )

Angelina F.

Yelp
This was my first time here and the iced latte I had with oat milk cost me $8 and when I received the drink the first sip was straight black espresso because they didn't mix the drink for me. Also the kids to these plastic cups are terrible, I got coffee all over myself.

Yelp
The food and coffee is amazing. The ambiance needs to stay neutral. Please, stay neutral and serve ANY customers. Mind our own personal businesses, and customers love your coffee.

Yelp
I prefer the SoCo location, it's just special. It's nice and clean inside, the coffee is great. Tacos fall a bit flat for me, but I find that rather common with coffee shop tacos around Austin. The staff, though. They are so nice and warm every time I've gone, drive through and going in. The mystery latte I got was great. I wish I knew what the heck it was so I could get it again.

Yelp
It's great to have a Jos on the South Side of Austin. Great coffee and breakfast tacos. I'm not a vegan but that tacos tasted great. And it nice to see an under utilized building get a great tenant that seems made for it. Oh and the queso is pretty good too. P.S. Try the pop tarts.

Gage S.

Yelp
Service was decent, coffee is meh. The tacos that are terrible and super tiny and are probably the worst I've had in Austin.

Yelp
If you like overpriced, dried out lukewarm tacos from a warmer served to you by a person who by all accounts appears dead inside, this is your place. $17 for two tacos and a small 1/2 sweet Turbo. I loved the Congress location back in the day, so was excited to have one closer to me now that I live South. Sadly, while the interior is really nice and cute, the service is terrible and the food is lacking. Jo's should invest in some customer service training from the old school folks on Congress if they are looking to keep up their vibe. Radio is worth the extra few blocks for freshly made tacos from Vera Cruz All Natural along with great service.

Yelp
thankful to the drive-thru gods that we were finally blessed with this Jo's Coffee drive-through in south Austin! my go-to is the deeeelicious Iced Turbo, because i'm not a fool & the energy boost is the jolt i need when i choose to indulge in coffee. their breakfast tacos are also hella tasty! i prefer the bean & cheese, Migas, & hashbrown breakfast tacos. i have a smaller appetite than most, so only need 1 - max 2 of these bad boys myself. i also have tried their picadillo taco, chips & queso, & the tuna salad sandwich - all of which are muy yummy & i recommend you try! the staff at each Jo's Coffee location are the sweetest & kindest souls, & this location is no different. gonna give WFH here a try soon as well, when i need a break from my home office!

Yelp
Very good coffee. Glad to have in the neighborhood. Westgate is only getting better.
google avatar

Mattie D.

Yelp
Good coffee but sad they charge $1.25 more for plant based milk. It shouldn't cost that much more to make a healthier and better choice for the planet.
google avatar

Anton P.

Yelp
The breakfast tacos were pathetic, Secreto tacos across the street are cheaper and 10x better. The coffee was pretty good, nothing too special. The drive thru is a plus.

Yelp
My husband & I first came to Jos & the AC wasn't working, which is something people cannot control but it felt like a nice place to be at regardless of the heat. Food wasn't all that great, the eggs tasted like it needed to be cooked a little longer since it looked and tasted very runny, our coffee was good to begin with but once we took a few more sips it didn't taste the same as when we got it. Tasted more like water than coffee. For the price paid I feel like it was overpriced.

Brandon H.

Yelp
The Coffee is decent and is the only reason to go . The breakfast is horrendously bad. The burrito is pre prepared falling apart soggy on an uncooked tortilla definitely powder eggs no flavor. would not eat here again. I want my money back.

Yelp
So happy for the new location in South Austin. Jo's has the best coffee and great customer service!

Marina A.

Yelp
Service was fast and friendly. A little overpriced for coffee and very over priced food. Tacos need to be 2-3$ go to the Mexican restaurant a couple businesses down.

Aaron A.

Yelp
Service is always super slow and awkward. The location is annoying to get into. Was counting the days we got a Jo's location down south and rarely go because it's a pain in the ass.

Mckenna F.

Yelp
The Pre made tacos were really bad super disappointed. Tip options start at 18 percent in the drive thru smh I tipped 10 dollars for inedible food they didn't make smh. Never again

Yelp
We were excited this recently opened in our neighborhood and went by to eat. Sadly it was disappointing. We were expecting fresh sandwiches/food like the location downtown; however, as another reviewer mentioned, it's basically like gas station prepackaged food. I had the tuna sandwich that I really enjoy at Jo's downtown but it was on a soggy white bun rather than sourdough toasted bread and there was barely any tuna salad on it. It seemed like it had also been sitting in a fridge for more than a day at least. I've actually had better prepackaged sandwiches at a gas station. My boyfriend got the chipotle grilled chicken sandwich on grilled ciabatta. It was also prepackage in tin foil, the bread certainly was not grilled and didn't look like ciabatta. The lettuce was brown and mush, possibly from the sandwich sitting under a heat lamp or just sitting for a long time and then being heated with the lettuce. He ended up having to pull it out of the sandwich. Respect for him because after seeing the snot lettuce that appeared rotten, because of the heat I think, I wouldn't have been able to eat the rest. The inside is new and clean but small and similar to a lot of places opening up recently. Very basic, white small round tables, industrial-esk style. I didn't have coffee. I assume that is the same as the other locations. Probably only will come here to grab coffee from the drive through in the future.
