A well organized and efficient facility, making it a pleasant starting point for both domestic and international travelers.
The domestic area is conveniently located on the left side of the main entrance, making navigation straightforward from the moment you arrive. Departures are handled on the first floor, where the layout is intuitive, and signage is clear.
Clean, spacious and smooth check-in process. Staff are helpful and efficient, ensuring minimal delays even during peak hours.
For those traveling to the Galápagos Islands, there are specific procedures to follow. Before proceeding to the airline check-in counter, travelers must obtain their Transit Control Card (TCT), which costs $20 as of November 2024. The counter to get the TCT card is located on the left of airlines check-in counters. Additionally, you’ll need to have your luggage scanned as part of the Galápagos-specific regulations. While these extra steps might seem cumbersome, the airport staff manage them efficiently, ensuring the process is relatively quick and hassle free.
Have a safe flight!
