José Pizarro The Swan Inn

We only stayed for one night at The Swan Inn as we were attending a 70th birthday party. The room was clean and comfortable with coffee & tea facilities, a pity there were no biscuits. I always like coffee & biscuits after a long drive. We had dinner before we went out, the tapas were delicious. I had an extremely delicious veggie breakfast and I requested for my eggs to be well fried, thank you Chef. Friendly staff especially Yodella, thank you.

Having recently moved to Esher, we are within walking distance of The Swan and have eaten there on a number of occasions in the last 6 months with friends and family. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff are typically knowledgeable about the menu, and the food has always arrived very quickly. The food is excellent, but it would be nice to have a few specials available and maybe some additional ‘Big dishes.’ In a larger group, there is always someone who prefers not to have tapas! We really enjoy the range of seating options available – very helpful with the variable weather that we have during the year. And a special mention for Alex. We have been lucky enough to have him as our waiter on a number of occasions. He is friendly, professional and nothing is ever too much trouble. Many thanks and keep up the good work. We look forward to returning soon.

My goodness this restaurant is incredible and delicious! We had a big party of 8 people and service was remarkable. Beautiful atmosphere and wide variety of menu options and lots of gluten free options! Alex took such great care of all of us and went out of his way to make sure all of my dishes were celiac friendly! I highly recommend this spot. The Patatas Bravas were particularly delicious! Thank you Alex!

Amazing tapas restaurant with a lovely covered ‘outdoor’ area for larger groups to relax and enjoy. We went for lunch and had a fabulous relaxing meal with plenty of small plates over a couple of hours. Food was amazing, staff are delightful - Alex was the perfect host. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a bit disappointed, we were first in and ordered a full breakfast. Tea and coffee arrived with fruit juice and a bottle of water all very good, we waited over 30 minutes before our breakfast arrived no other guests arrived during this time. After all this wait the meal was not hot we did not complain because we were needed to be on our way early

Brilliant food and service in such a wonderful place. Classic British pub food at a high standard with a Spanish twist on all the dishes. A really great menu and wine list. Staff are brilliant - all really helpful. Special mention for Alex who served us today in the cosy outdoor heated space. All the team are great. 👍🏼 👏🏼 🙌🏼

Rooms at the Swan Inn are small but immaculate with spacious walk in shower and top quality linens. Food at the Jose Pizarro restaurant in the adjacent pub is delicious for both dinner and breakfast. Very good value and we will be back.

My sister and I stayed at The Swan Inn on Saturday evening as we attended a Lantern lighting festival at The Shinnyo Buddhist Centre. Our room was beautiful lovely bedding and towels and spotless with tea and coffee making facilities provided. On our return we ate at the restaurant the staff are very friendly and professional and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we didn’t feel at all rushed.
