I recently visited Josh Wood and had the pleasure of being styled by Freddie. From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. I came in wanting long layers and face-framing cuts, and Freddie took the time to have a thorough consultation with me to understand exactly what I was looking for. The results were absolutely amazing. He managed to give me the perfect cut, keeping the length I wanted while removing the dead ends. It was exactly what I had envisioned! The salon itself had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was offered drinks multiple times, which added a nice touch to the experience. The entire staff was friendly, making me feel right at home. However, it was Freddie who truly made the experience stand out. His attention to detail and professionalism made my visit 100% better. I’m beyond happy with my new cut and will definitely be returning!

I had colour done with Jay, who transformed my roots from damaged and brassy orange (which I only felt comfortable wearing a hat over) to a natural tone that works with my complexion and blends perfectly with my ends. Thank you !

Tasha has been colouring my hair for years. I’ve followed her from her previous salon and there is a reason I've been known to travel previously from Scotland and now from Melbourne, Australia to have Tasha do my hair - she's the best in the business. The minute you sit down in the salon chair you know you are in good hands, she is so knowledgeable in her craft. Tasha is a true artist and I love having her do my blonde for me. I will continue to travel for her to work her magic on my locks, which is testament to how great a hairdresser she is!

Leoni took the time to understand exactly the kind of look I was going for- natural, sun-kissed, and low-maintenance - and absolutely nailed it. The colour placement was spot on, blending seamlessly with my natural hair and giving me that fresh, glowing look I’d been hoping for. What really stood out was how thoughtful and precise she was throughout the whole process. She explained each step and used products that left my hair feeling healthy and soft. If you’re looking for beautiful, natural-looking highlights and a stylist who really knows their craft, I couldn’t recommend Leoni more! Also, a massive shoutout to Freddie for doing such a great job as always. Absolutely loving my haircut, which perfectly complements the gorgeous highlights!

I had the best experience at the salon with Freddie! He was so attentive from start to finish and gave me the most stunning haircut. It was also my first time having my hair diffused, and I was honestly blown away by how amazing my natural curls looked – I’ve never seen them like that before! Freddie is clearly very passionate about what he does and incredibly knowledgeable about hair. He gave me some fantastic haircare recommendations too that I’ll definitely be using to keep my hair looking its best. I highly recommend booking in with him – you’ll be in very good hands! 😊

I came to Tasha last summer after a bad dye job at another salon and she’s completely transformed and restored my hair colour from a patchy brassy tone to my natural cool brunette shade as well as seamlessly covering my stubborn greys. The process along the way has felt super bespoke and Tasha has always taken the time to explain the technicalities and her thinking along the way, involving me in the decision-making and making sure I’m always happy – it’s never felt like a one-size-fits-all approach which I’ve experienced elsewhere. She’s absolutely lovely too which has made every appointment a real pleasure. I’d strongly recommend Tasha to anyone who wants their hair colour in a safe and super talented pair of hands!

I'd go anywhere for a colour from Tasha. I'm so pleased and grateful she's at the lovely Josh Wood Atelier. Tasha is truly an expert and a perfectionist. Her colour knowledge and ability to quickly assess what a client wants and needs and what's possible with the hair you have is mind blowing. She's been doing my hair for a few years now and instinctively knows what I want. 'I arrive with a bunch of ideas set out in random words and Tasha turns that dream into reality. She deserves all the accolades she gets. What's even more. she's graceful, humble, friendly and warm and just an all round lovely human being. I can recommend her highly only because I know if my and others reviews made her even busier, she'd always find time for me. Her clients matter to her and no wonder we're all so loyal. She's fits so perfectly into this lovely salon.

I have had the pleasure of having Tasha bleach my hair for almost 10 years. She's an excellent, technical colourist. Tasha always goes through a thorough consultation and makes tweaks to the process, so the result is perfect every time. My six-eight weekly appointments with Tasha are a dream.

The worse ever, they damaged my hair, took too long to try to fix it and at the end, way very expansive. Not recommended at all

I had a fantastic experience at this salon. The staff are very professional and the guy who coloured my hair (semi-permanent) did a great job: not a single bit of grey left. My hair last looked like this 20 years ago. As I had never had my hair coloured before, they also gave me a free blow dry, which was very kind of them. Recommended!

I've been to both locations. Haircut was the worst I've had in years! I brought a pic and yet the so called stylist managed to butcher my hair. Went for pedi and i just got a buff and coating. No trimming cuticles or massage. The receptionist was rude. DON'T GO HERE! Stylists are horrible!

I have been to get my hair highlighted at both of his salons and also had a manicure. The colouring first time was ok, the blow dry was appalling and the manicure was one of the worst I've ever had. The second time I went to the salon at Liberty's which is small, cold and uncomfortable. I noticed when I got home that the roots were showing but didn't go back as I was then I'll and Christmas was upon us. I returned yesterday and was told their policy is that if you are unhappy about something that you need to report it straight away. They were completely unapologetic and obviously couldn't care less whether a (potentially) good customer was unhappy. The receptionist at both salons are like ice maidens and obviously think that you should think yourself lucky to be having your hair done there at all. The whole thing is a con and they have firmly set their sights on the Notting Hillbilly's who have more money and time than sense. Go at your peril.
