Our family planned two celebrations for two of our family members at Josie Kelleys. Their Adar ballroom is a beautiful private venue and this room is quite large and seats up to 140 people. This venue has its own private bathroom and private bar, which was perfect for our party. We had our party on a Saturday summer afternoon and we did the banquet style lunch menu. The food was outstanding! The staff at Josie Kelleys did a great job keeping the party going. And all of our guests seemed to really enjoy themselves. We also used many of the vendors on Josie Kelley’s preferred vendors list. And we were also extremely happy with the vendors we used. Each vendor either delivered to Josie Kelly’s or came in to do the work in person that we hired them for our party. The second part of our party was a surprise for our 80 year old father. And he was surprised and so pleased with Josie Kelly’s venue. The Josie Kelly’s team was able to divide the their Adar ballroom in two with an air-wall. We were able to open the air-wall to surprise our dad with surprise decorations & additional guests. I believe you would be extremely happy if you choose this venue for your party and you won’t be disappointed!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! We had our rehearsal dinner here and Heather and every employee helped to make it so so special. The food was excellent and the room was pristine. They went out of their way to make sure a band was playing and opened up the large banquet room for 100 of our closest family and friends to kick off our wedding celebration. No matter how full it was the bar provided excellent service with delicious drinks. We are so grateful that Heather took the time to help us plan every detail so all we had to do was show up and have a great time!

Google
I recently held a bridal shower for my daughter utilizing the Adare ballroom. Although we had 45 people, this room can fit so many more. The spacious room has so much to offer including a full service bar we utilized as a Mimosa bar and stage (usually for a band). We used it for the bride to be's platform! The staff was exceptional from first day of planning and throughout answering so many questions that I had. Timely email and call returns were a huge plus! We had a large amount of props and decor that this room accepted graciously without taking away from the rooms historical vibe. They set up the tables for the party and boy did it look great! Oh...the food? We had a brunch and there were no complaints to be had. Everything was excellent! Bartender...superb. Staff was right there as we needed them. We all agreed Josies makes the best espresso martini on the east coast!!! Hope the attached pictures help capture just how much you can make this place your vision for a great party! Thank you to everyone involved at Josie Kelly's for helping to make this an extra special event for my only daughter! Cheers!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the Adare Ballroom at Josie Kelly’s and had our after party the next night in the main bar area—and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! Both nights were absolutely incredible. The ballroom was the ideal setting to kick off our wedding weekend, and the vibe in the bar for the after party was exactly what we wanted. The team even sectioned off the bar area for us, which made it feel extra special. From start to finish, the staff was warm, attentive, and on point, and the food was amazing. So many of our guests commented on how great the space and service were. We’re beyond grateful to Josie Kelly’s for helping us celebrate such a special occasion—we'll never forget it!

Google
A sincere thank you to Heather Berchtold, Events Manager at Josie Kelly's Public House — your thoughtfulness and dedication made the day absolutely unforgettable. The food was outstanding, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere beyond amazing. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect bridal celebration for our daughter, Elizabeth, and her fiancé, Miguel.

After reading other great reviews, we decided to have our son’s Baptism luncheon at Josie Kelly’s. The food & atmosphere were fantastic, the service was great, and the staff was phenomenal. The staff also went above and beyond and helped decorate the room. The day could not have been any more perfect!

Google
Great place in Somers Point New Jersey right before going into Ocean City. We stopped in at the bar and the bartender, Declan, warmly greeted us. Nice pub style atmosphere. We each had a burger. I had the lamb burger, which was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I opted for the Caesar salad instead of fries. We also ordered the classic cheese burger, which was also delicious. Ample parking on site. Good selection of beers on tap as well.

Google
We made a pit stop here on a Sunday late afternoon while traveling fro the point in NJ back to Pennsylvania. I searched “pub” and “cider” in Google maps and this came up so we decided to check it out. We sat at the bar. We each had a Magner’s cider and we ate nothing. I am giving this rating mostly based on the environment and service but the food did look good and I imagine that it is. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The highlight of our visit was our bar neighbor, Reggie. He was an older gentleman and had a humorous and outgoing personality. We chatted with him and watched some rowdy person get booted out. Reggie assured us this never happens and it’s the first time he has seen someone locked out. We enjoyed meeting him. I would for sure come here again if ever in the area. I bet if they have dessert it’s good.

Yelp
Fantastic cocktails, great service and delicious food! Do yourself a favor and try the Beef and Guinness Pie. The beef is so tender and flavorful, you won't regret it! I tasted the Four Squash soup and that was so good as well. Someone at my table got the Shepherd's Pie and it looked wonderful but I didn't taste it. I thoroughly enjoyed the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini too!!

Yelp
Everything is excellent! Food, service, music and cocktails. Great for adults but also wonderful to bring your family

Yelp
We were able to get a table right away on a Friday around 6:15 pm in mid-May! Food and drinks were great! I had a magically delicious martini & the French onion grilled cheese with fries. The fries were so good, I couldn't stop eating them even though I was so full! They had a kids menu, and my son had a hot dog and fries. We were seated near a speaker so the music was a bit loud...so just be prepared for a mid to high noise level in here if it's busy! They have a parking lot which is super convenient.

Yelp
My family and friends truly enjoy the atmosphere as well as the consistent good food you get from Josie Kelly's. Service is always good.

Yelp
Very centric spot with lots of parking. Accesible bars from any side of the dinning areas. Ordered the split pea soup and it was very salty. Ordered a sandwich after however my bartender forgot to ring it in and was so distracted talking at the end of the bar that never even realized that my order never came out. It was not a busy night, however he was not attentive to some customers at the bar. The place is spacious but can become loud when people chatting. Lots of older decor simulating libraries. Not a big selection of beers.

Yelp
First time there, we live in Pittsburgh and were on vacation. Went there from a suggestion from a friend. The restaurant was decorated beautifully! Staff was happy and pleasant. Asked for suggestions from our waiter, who was cute as a button! He was spot on! Will go back when we are in the area again. Thank you Josie Kelly's for a great meal and a great experience!

Yelp
I hosted my best friends' bridal shower at Josie Kelly's, and I would highly recommend them for all of your event needs! Heather was so easy to work with and was super attentive throughout the process! Our bartender and server for our event were so sweet and accommodating, too! The upstairs whiskey bar is a beautiful spacious room. The food and drinks were good. Overall, we had a lovely experience working with this pub.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to and try Josie Kelly's Public House for quite some time now and I finally had the chance to go this past weekend with my fiancé. It's a great Irish pub located in a historical building with a restored interior that pays homage to Irish heritage. Josie Kelly's has a welcoming and traditional feel of a coastal pub from the west coast of Ireland. Here, you can relax while enjoying traditional Irish fare, whiskeys, craft beers, and other libations that's accompanied by banter and live music. I would definitely go back again. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 Recommended dishes Fish & Chips Vegetarian options Dietary restrictions Gluten-free Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot Parking Free parking lot along Miller Lane Kid-friendliness Wheelchair accessibility

Yelp
Great Irish pub with classic Irish fare and an incredible beer selection. They serve the best pint of Guinness around and provide incredible service. They have live music almost every weekend and traditional Irish music on Sunday afternoons.
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance in this restaurant. Felt like I was in someone's home in Ireland. There was live music and a few guys sitting at the bar joined in with their own instruments. Fun atmosphere even on the slow night we were there. Food was typical Irish pub fare and what we had was good (except for the mashed potatoes, surprisingly)! Four stars for ambiance.

Yelp
Large place and perfect for a quick trip off OC if you're not looking for beach/seafood-type places. It's a sports bar/Irish pub with some upscaled traditional dishes. A bit expensive, but you're close to the beach and it is what it is. Great tap and canned beer selection and interesting drinks (if a bit strong, but that shouldn't be a complaint if you're not driving!). Watched Scheffler win the Masters here on 3 or 4 TVs. Service was good, everything brought out on time, drinks refilled, etc. Please, please, skip the Crab Trap and come here. That place needs to go.

Alice C.

Yelp
We went on a Friday night. Sing along with Irish music. Delicious fish and chips. Friendly atmosphere. Great night!

Paige B.

Yelp
If i could give more than 5 stars, I would. The staff is phenomenal, the food is amazing, and the restaurant is so cozy and fun! We had a private event there in the upstairs space and things could not have gone better. Heather and her staff really took such great care of us and helped beyond our expectations. The event space is much bigger than it looks in photos and the balcony is fully covered and a great addition. I didn't have to worry about anything the entire night. The staff refilled the food, helped guests with their needs, and served everything in a timely manner. 10/10 experience.

Yelp
Was there tonight..my 2nd time and will be back! Irish Food at it's finest! Waitress Superb! Ambiance inviting! Not close to home..but worth the drive!

Yelp
Josie was having a bad day apparently..... Arrived for an 11:30am Bridal Shower Brunch. The affair was supposed to be from 11:30am until 1:30pm. Food orders were not taken until 12:30 and food was not delivered until 1:30. I had to take mine to go as did others as we had other commitments. Staff kept the party planner apprised of a kitchen problem relating to POS system. My photo shows my food when I plated it at home later. Had the "Breakfast Butty" as shown with sweet potato fries. Fries were great! Sandwich was very plain as you can see. Not impressed. Just as a note on service.... when I ordered my food, the server let me know it came with a side. When I asked what the side options were, she told me to read the menu. Never in all my years had that happen before. Servers typically just rattle off the sides. As a woman of a certain age, who forgot her reading glasses, this was a bit awkward. I can't recommend this place and I certainly would not return. Poor service, poor POS, and poor overall experience.

Yelp
Really great vibe. A bit loud for older folks. The French onion grilled cheese was amazing!!!

Yelp
Great spot for dinner and drinks! We had a larger party of 10 or so and they were very accommodating Had the Shepherd's Pie and it was great! And they use Lamb and not some bulls*t beef in their recipe. Potatoes were creamy with a light browning on top and the inside was juicy and flavorful! Great veggies mixed with the lamb Staff was great to us! Lots of space too

Yelp
This is yet another place with not enough staff. Been there twice in the past month and both times we had a very pleasant server who was left alone to handle several tables with little to no support. ....Empty plates, bottles and drinks littered the tables....we would have spent more on drinks if we had more attention from the server. Food is fine and music is great.

David P.

Yelp
1st time there and extremely satisfied. Large easy access adjoining or immediately across the street parking lot. We didn't have a reservation but they seated us immediately and on a Saturday night. Loved the tin ceilings and back home bar like ambiance. Good selection of draught beers and a great menu. I had the Chicken Curry, excellent. My son had the Cottage Pie, amazing, my wife and daughter had the leak soup and Caesar salad. Service was fantastic with him (forgot his name, sorry) with him giving his recommendations which we took and not disappointed. We will definitely go there next time we're in OC.

Yelp
We love this spot for the authentic Irish vibe and the many vegetarian and vegan options. I ordered the shepherd's pie and it was delicious. Pro tip: top the shepherds pie with HP sauce.

Judy B.

Yelp
We had our annual business meeting here today. The staff is outstanding. The pub is beautiful and the food is terrific. We started with coffee, tea, scones, and fresh fruit. The presentation was beautiful, the scones delicious and the fruit fresh and juicy. Afterwards the lunch did not disappoint. Vegetables, salmon, and chicken were prepared very well and the salad was green and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I had the chance to attend to high school reunions this year. When was Holy Spirit High School class of 73 and the other was Oakcrest High School. Both reunions used a app to pay called Eventbrite which was easy to do as far as buying a ticket. The prices for both events were exactly the same. About $80. That's where the similarities end. The Holy Spirit Union was how that Resorts international Casino in July 2023. Upon entering resorts on a busy Saturday night we were put into a ballroom which is elegant. As you walked in you were created with dozens of different hors d'oeuvres which were presented beautifully. The hors d'oeuvres where everything from fruit to cheeses and meats. We were provided with real silverware and plates to put the hors d'oeuvres on. All the tables were decorated with centerpieces and tablecloths. We had waiter service for drinks. Around the side of the ballroom where tables with old high school paraphernalia from football to other clubs that were at Holy Spirit. Two big screens replaced and strategic areas where pictures were constantly rotating of past reunions. A live band was provided for 4 hours which kept us dancing and engaged. Playing songs from our high school time ERA amongst other popular songs we all knew. The bands name the escapes me but they were at seven piece band from Philadelphia. The band interacted well with the class and the class officers who were emceeing making announcements when needed during the 4 hour reunion. The night was fabulous and well beyond mine or any expectations. Josie Kelly's Oakcrest reunion couldn't be more than a complete opposite experience. Where the Holy Spirit count was around 150 person the Oakcrest attendance was about 110. Upon walking into the room it was closed off. The air condition was not on and it got stuffy real quick. Eventually it was turned on. The bar and the room were nice but small for the cocktail hour. Hors d'oeuvres were horrendous and unappetizing looking. Meat and cheese with paper plates which look like they were laying around and not cold. Some was touched but for the most part it was left alone. As they seem to let the cocktail hour go a little over to make more money the food which was a buffet was also put out. It was on one table and it was just thrown out there. Chicken , vegetables, and a few other items were edible but nothing great. The dessert was cupcakes. Miniature ones. They did open up another room which was separated by a retractable wall. It added more room and tables and chairs. None of the tables were decorated or had any tablecloth on them. May I add that this reunion took place between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday October 21st 2023. Not prime time. Josie Kelly's should have be ashamed of the product they put out for that kind of money. Not a lot of money is $80 but to compare them with what Resorts put out they should be embarrassed. There wasn't even a disc jockey or a band for one. And just the overall atmosphere and the comparison in the rooms and the food said to me it was just a money grab for them. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say resource international hotel casino a 10. Josie Kelly's in Somers point New Jersey a 2. Total embarrassment if you ask me. I've talked to fellow alumni that also attended both like me and they could not believe how far apart to venues were. If Josie Kellys puts that stuff out in their regular business venue I don't think there will be around too much longer. They probably make out in the summer because of the overpopulation of the shore crowd but there are too many quality restaurants and bars within walking distance of that place that have been consistent over the years. Charlie's bar, Gregory's, the Anchorage, and the Crab trap. They better step up their game. Shame on you Josie Kelly's.

Yelp
Good food. Good beer selection. Good service. Worst music I have heard in years! 70s disco and SUPER loud! Barely anyone in restaurant and they would not turn it down.

Yelp
I had one amazing old fashioned and one that was worse than a Hawaiian Punch. Beware of your bartender!!

Marl A.

Yelp
Food is consistently great and there's a ton of seating and parking so I've never seen a long wait!

Yelp
The food was great. We had the wings and fab cakes. Both were great. I had the cheese burger it was cooked to my liking and came with fries. We had five other dishes including two children dishes. Everything was great. They have alcohol and the the drink menu was great. The price was right and the service was great. Get there early we left at 6pm and there was an one hour and thirty minute wait on a Monday. Thank you much for everything. Food and service was great.

Sima K.

Yelp
The food here is REALLY good and they make great cocktails. I love the historic atmosphere. A quick walk to all the other bars in the area. The staff here are great! Definitely worth popping in!

Yelp
My party of five and 1/4 ( 3 1/2yo darling grandaughter) were totally blown away by the food, and service we experienced at J K's P H. Our server, Victor, was very congenial, and made sure we were happy with everything throughout our dinner. At 4:00pm, when we arrived the restaurant, and bar were half full, by the time we left the whole place, restaurant, and both bars were filled to capacity. Josie Kelly's has some really creative drinks the one that everyone one really liked was the Phoenix Margarita: a combination of tequila, muddled jalapeno, triple sec, prickly pear, lemonade, and salt, this is an off the hook refereshing drink, Josie Kelly's Irish Red was also really good. Our appetizers, potato cakes, and portobello fries came out hot, and nicely seasoned, the coating on the portobello fries gave them a delicious crisp coating , they came with a tasty dipping sauce. Darling grandaughter's chicken fingers, and sweet potato fries kept her happily occupied while the rest of us enjoyed our dinners. We ordered pan seared cod, fish and chips, Shepherd's Pie, and Beef and Guinness Pie. My dining partners told me the seared cod, fish and chips, and Shepherd's Pie were excellent, I had the Beef and Guinness Pie: tender pieces of beef and veggies cooked perfectly, in this heavenly tasting gravy, with a square of puff pastry layed gently atop this dish, wow, I can tell you living on and off in Great Britain for fifty years, this version was as good, and surpassed some of the ones that I have eaten across the pond. My only gripe would be that it, along with a few of the other entrees could have been a bit, larger... Now to dessert, they served Crack Pie which is a great description for it because it is addicting as hell. Our service was pretty accurate in his description "it's like a pecan pie without the pecans". This pie with it's delicious crust that tastes just like crumbled up oatmeal cookies mixed with butter, and a delicious filling was so good it justed tasted like "more". The other desert was a chocolate cheesecake with a hint of Jameson Whiskey, well forget about cheesecake like you normally think about cheesecake, this was a velvety, chocolaty, smooth, and creamy combination of deliciousness, that was truly an unbelievable taste treat. Josie's is now on my local favorite list, try it out you'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Overall rating: 1.5 stars out of 5 stars ! A favorite local Somers Point, NJ establishment. Visit Day/Time: 7:00 pm on a Thursday. Wait for table time: 0 mins. Only 20-25% occupancy in use. Ambience: Extremely loud/annoying "boom-boom-boom" background rhythm beat music. No sound absorbent panels to eliminate the high noise levels. There was no Irish-type(?) music playing. Unable to hold a normal/proper conversation with person in our party. Menu Selections: Very Irish style selection, a somewhat an acquired taste. Prices: Four person, 2 Soups, 4 Full meals, 2 desserts, 1 wine, with tip: $125. Food ordered and served: Well presented and very tasty, BUT the food temperatures were rather cool, barely above room temperature. "We all wanna see steam rising!". Service: Friendly, but slow, somewhat inattentive at times. Best bets: The American Hamburger is EXCELLENT !!! Issues: As mentioned. Avoids: Careful where you sit due to annoying speakers/music. Would we go back? I doubt it. Not for eating, it's mostly a local Bar "pick-up" crowd. Reason(s) to go (or not go) there: Very annoying ambience. Follow-Ups, if any: Parking is not an issue.

Sandra Z.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch with my sister after a nice walk over the 9th street bridge, we were seated immediately and our server came over to get our drink orders. JadaLynne was such a friendly waitress...we ordered beers and a burger and they were excellent. Jadalyne was on top of everything and there whenever we needed anything. Josie Kellys is lucky to have her!

Yelp
Irish & proud of it ! On a wonderfully busy street & great parking ! Shepherds pie amazing timed perfect ! Super welcoming ! The moment they opened, I think, still they went way out of their way to give us every ingredient we wish for from a fabulous menu; i Reasonable pricing and already plans to return !!

Theresa S.

Yelp
Super friendly service and authentic Celtic menu. Excellent for brunch. Had the Build your Own Bloody Mary and corned beef hash. Bloody Mary options are endless! I added a grilled cheese to mine. Corned beef hash is chopped corned beef tossed with crispy cubed fried potatoes. The arugula salad alongside was refreshing and great way to balance the richness. Ended the meal with a proper Irish Coffee. Plenty of parking and rugby playing in background makes this the perfect brunch spot.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night in June with my girlfriend. The place was filled but not packed, so nice ambiance. We sat at the bar and the two bartenders who served us (didn't catch their names unfortunately) were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The beer menu had a great selection of local NJ beers on draft, including Somers Point, Tuckahoe and Bonesaw. Always a plus for us. But I was only inspired to write this review by the chicken sandwich I had. Sweet Jesus. I thought it was just going to be a basic pub sandwich, but it was amazing. Seasoned just right, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, served on a soft brioche bun. Crinkle cut sweet potato fries perfectly salted on the side. Something so simple yet so perfectly made. My girlfriend had the duck sandwich and reports it was also delicious, and she particularly loved the vinaigrette that went with her side salad. To the chef, I salute you.

Scott H.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday for lunch. Great food, great live music and great ambience. All 5's. Service was bad. They didn't have enough servers and our server was defensive and curt. They really need to hire more, and better qualified, servers. Would be a 5 if not for that.

Yelp
We came back this year to Josie Kelly's for dinner with our family. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the food was greatly improved since our last visit. We ordered the brussels sprouts and buttered bangers for appetizers. The sprouts were yummy--sweet with a little kick and perfectly crispy. The buttered bangers were delicious. You can't really go wrong with fried meat, but the lavender honey took it above and beyond. The short rib meal I ordered was top-notch. The meat was tender and had incredible flavor and the root vegetables were lovely. I also really enjoyed the fried fish cake that came with it. My toddler got the grilled cheese, which was good, but the fruit salad he chose as his side was one of the best ever. It had blueberries, strawberries, blackberries--not a melon in sight-- and everything was very fresh. My husband enjoyed his salmon and my in-laws also liked their meals. It was loud where we were seated this time b/c we were in the main bar area. Service was good and the prices were reasonable. I will go anywhere that serves Irish beer on draft. I was a happy camper here with their selection of both beer on draft and whiskey.

Yelp
one of the best spots at the jersey shore for great food and good times. my wife and daughter are both vegan and we had lots of options for myself and the vegans.

Yelp
Very positive dining experience; very good food; lovely servers; cool Irish pub vibe; highly attentive owner stops at tables to check on diners; only suggestion: our complimentary bread was frozen on the inside & quite cold-just warm it in the oven before serving

Meghan M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went here 3 times in our short trip (& wish we went more). Food was to die for, specialty cocktails were delicious @ service was also great. We went for dinner 2 nights and happy hour once and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!! Everything was amazing.

Yelp
Came in with 8 for brunch. It was a spring Saturday around 1130am. A very nice selection of beers on tap. I wanted a Boddington's cream ale, not on tap but in a can. They did not have it although it was on the menu. They did not have some other selections either. I ordered a Guinness. Ambiance is an Irish pub. One of us ordered a sausage roll to share. It was delicious and the sausage was tasty wrapped in a puff pastry. I got fish and chips which was haddock. It was great - crispy and the fish was moist and flaky. Others got various dishes. Everyone was pleased. Service was excellent and our server was attentive and solicitous. One annoying thing was the volume of the sporting events. There are 8 large screen monitors in the place. The Sixers were on and the volume was way too loud. Our server tried to get it lowered and eventually it was brought down to reasonable levels. The place was nice and we would return. Nancy & Mark.

Yelp
(To show how much Yelping means to me, our visit here was back in June and I'm just getting around to thinking about this now. Obviously I forget way more than I remember.) It's been a while since our visit, six months, so what do I remember: On one hand we showed up on a Friday in June without a reservation and even though it was busy, we were seated almost immediately. On the other hand, the place was beyond loud and the seating of being very near the live music, under a TV and near a kiosk where the staff enters orders meant a ton of foot traffic and a ton of noise. On one hand the menu is small so you would assume what they do they do well and the prices are not crazy considering what they are serving and being in such a touristy area in-season. On the other hand, what's also small are the portions. Don't come hungry unless you're pre-gaming/post-gaming somewhere else, ordering a double entrée or the thought of leaving semi-hungry is appealing. American Burger - Shepherd's Pie - Bangers & Mash Asked for the burger to be made without the LTO on it and it came of course with LTO very much on it. The B&M was probably the best thing here as the gravy was decent and the flavor very good. Truly one of the more bizarre things I have ever seen in my life that makes no sense is the Shepherd's Pie here. The small side pile of dry arugula on the plate makes zero sense. It's flavorless and at least to me, pseudo-inedible in the format it's in. Honestly. Why? As I mentioned earlier, we're not obese slobs but the portion size for the two entrees is definitely on the smaller side. I frequent an Irish Pub near home for their Shepherd's Pie and for the same price it's 15-20% larger and tastes basically no different than what is rendered here with no weird arugula. I'll give a pass on the service as the guy we had was also training someone who seemed like it was their first day and things were very disjointed. Very long wait for drinks to hit the table and refills were never offered and until it was time for the check we never saw either of them anywhere near our table. Overall JKPH certainly wasn't bad but at the same time in future visits "Down the Shore", I can't say that we're going to seek it out either. The food was decent, just not enough of it in certain cases and the service left a lot to be desired. Three is more than fair.

Yelp
Josie Kelly's hosted my brunch for my daughter's baptism. We were seated in the whiskey room upstairs and everything was lovely. The meal was plentiful and delicious, everyone raved about the brussel sprout salad! The little white flowers on each table were a very nice touch. Our bartender, Rachel was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a larger group of children that were able to step into the little back room and play together. All around wonderful experience! Would certainly recommend them for a party!

Yelp
Went for Sunday brunch it was okay. Our drinks were not that great. ( I got the Mimosa sampler-they all tasted the same) My 3 sons got bloody Maria's and Mary's and said they were awful. The garnish I thought looked nice, but they thought it looked like the olives and jalapeño were old and wrinkled. It's a great atmosphere, staff is always pleasant and they are usually on it! Of course we will be back-do miss their happy hour! My fish and chips were good, my husbands meal was cold

Yelp
Energetic and friendly staff. Prepare for a mountain of food as the Pork Mac n Cheese is the way to go for an app. Music was popping and had the people on their feet's.

Yelp
This place was good when it first opened... Probably the first year. I've been back several times, say maybe twice a year over the course of the past 4 years, and it has gotten progressively worse with every visit since that first year. There was absolutely no redeeming thing about tonight's visit and it will certainly be my last time, especially since dinner for 3, with alcohol and tip was $150. You'd be better off cooking at home, making your own drinks and saving your money. Started with a thistle martini and 2 draft beers. Martini was supposed to have fennel syrup and a rosemary sprig garnish... Neither of which were in the martini. They're draft list sucks, too, btw. Hit appetizers next... Brussels sprouts, which were burnt and some kinda fried mushroom sticks which sounded way better on the menu than what was actually delivered... Sliced portobello mushrooms dredged in panko, deep fried with an aioli. Again, overcooked in the deep fryer, no seasoning, and it wasn't panko breadcrumbs that were used. Next, entrees... Beef tip pie, a shepherd's pie and a simple burger. Again, all 3 were burnt/overcooked, completely. The puff pastry with the pie's, and I asked for a med burger, which came out well done. Additionally, I wasn't given any kind of option for cheese on my burger, AND, it came with bacon on it even though I didn't ask for it. I understand since first opening, the original owners have now taken on investors in an attempt to expand the concept and have corporate ambitions/multiple locations. Since COVID recovery, they should really focus on tightening up the business, especially service and food quality, and getting the ship back to where it was when they first opened, which was incredibly promising! We skipped dessert and got the hell outta there and will never go back again until it's sold to new ownership because they've completely lost control of what a good, local restaurant should be all about.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to score a table right away on a busy weekend night. It feels like an authentic pub - the inside was beautifully lit and decorated. Our table in the smaller dining room allowed us to be able to talk with one another without shouting despite the busy night. At the beginning, our server was chatty and personable but kinda disappeared as the night got busier. Our food took a long time to come out but for the most part we enjoyed the food. Sadly, I was disappointed in the chips aka French fries. Despite a proper dip into malt vinegar, they were simply underwhelming. I think I would return for another meal to try other options but no big rush to return.

Yelp
Fun nightlife, live music, good bbq wings. Bartenders are actually cool people. 2 bars and a banquet room. Super sick.
