"The Jouri Hotel is sleek and sophisticated, and located in a central location close to a range of attractions, shopping and dining experiences. Whether it’s the market, the museums or the business opportunities you’re seeking, it’s all pretty accessible on foot or by car. From the cutting-edge architectural design to the sharp and subtle tones of the interior, it strikes a perfect balance between comfort and extravagance. While not overly large, the rooms are airy and provide all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. At the three onsite restaurants, executive chef Ahmed Al-Thani draws upon his experience working in some of the world's most celebrated kitchens to create unique dishes that are as delicious as they look. Whether opting to try traditional Qatar favorites like machbous rice with lamb, or venture into modern fusion dishes like tuna ceviche with avocado and grapefruit, the creativity is impressive." - Jenna Scatena

"Why book? From the sophisticated rooms to the dining experiences and indulgent services, this is boutique accommodation at an affordable budget. The understated yet modern interior makes for an inviting and comfortable stay in a city with an overwhelming number of choices. Set the scene The Jouri Hotel is sleek and sophisticated. From the cutting-edge architectural design to the sharp and subtle tones of the interior, it strikes a perfect balance between comfort and extravagance. While not overly large, the rooms are airy and provide all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. The backstory It was designed by French architects Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas. It features a unique system of movable panels that allows the building to regulate the amount of sunlight that enters the hotel, always providing a pleasant environment. It’s a one-of-a-kind structure, and provides a fascinating glimpse into the future of architectural design amidst the climate of Doha. The rooms The modern take on traditional Qatari design is evident with the crisp linen and mostly-beige color palette sprinkled with subtle examples of Arabic art. While the bright rooms are simple and understated, they provide all the essential amenities and comforts for a memorable experience. All rooms feature a minimum of large TVs, desk space, sleek bathrooms and large beds. Food and drink With three onsite restaurants, there’s a lot of choice at Jouri. The hotel's Executive Chef, Ahmed Al-Thani, draws upon his experience working in some of the world's most celebrated kitchens to create unique dishes that are as delicious as they look. Whether opting to try traditional Qatar favorites like machbous rice with lamb, or venture into modern fusion dishes like tuna ceviche with avocado and grapefruit, the creativity is impressive. The spa Precious “me-time” is easy to indulge in at the onsite spa. The wellness staff offer a range of pampering treatments to choose from including massages and facials in private rooms. Otherwise the sauna, steam room, indoor pool or state of the art gym will all be competing for your leisure time as well. The neighborhood/area Located in a very hotel-dominant neighborhood, Jouri is in a central location close to a range of attractions, shopping and dining experiences. Whether it’s the market, the museums or the business opportunities you’re seeking, it’s all pretty accessible on foot or by car. The service Expect top-notch service at Jouri, A Murwab Hotel. And it’s not the overdone type, but the small things like the warm and friendly welcome and enthusiasm to give local advice that makes the service standout. For families There’s a wider range of amenities available for families traveling with children than at many other hotels in Doha. From a baby-sitting service to a kids' club and playground, they have thought of everything that families need for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Eco effort The Jouri Hotel makes a commendable eco effort, with solar power accounting for much of the energy consumption. They also made a conscious effort to use natural materials in construction, with bamboo and stone a particular focus. The hotel also has its own farm, which provides for much of the fresh produce used at the onsite restaurants. Accessibility Guest rooms are equipped with lowered beds, wheel-in showers and accessible bathrooms for those in need. The hotel’s restaurants and bars are also fully accessible." - Jenna Scatena

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! Location is excellent as it’s proximity to sights to visit as well as the airport is just perfect. But the best part is the people! The hotel staff are such good humans! Be it house keeping or F&B or reception desk! Big shout to the manager Mr Karen who took care of us each morning as we arrived hungry for our breakfast! He is warm kind and so committed to providing a wonderful experience to his guests. And his team is as wonderful. Particularly Nuhella (who made me some wonderful egg delicacies) and Hussein who always served us sporting his big bright smile. The start to our day was always beautiful thanks to these wonderful people! Food was great too! 100/10 recommend to all!

Staff were so lovely and oh my the breakfast was amazing with lots of options!! The room was the biggest hotel room I’ve stayed in (deluxe) and so worth it for the price! Round the corner from the museum and a lot of places are max 10 min drive so very convenient. Also had a pool and ladies only sauna which is amazing! Only down side was pool was not deep but it was kid friendly.

My airline booked me room here due to missing a connecting flight. I was only here for a little while but everything was excellent. I have a special dietary requirement which was catered for, the food was excellent. The room was very clean and the location great. Staff went over and beyond to make it comfortable. Staying here has made me want to visit Qatar. Thanks a lot and see you soon.

Positives: |Good location within a 5 minute walk from the Museum metro stop on the gold line.|Staff are nice. Check-in was smooth. Security in foyer. |Room was nice and quiet, spacious and comfy. |Breakfast had a good choice of food.||Negatives:|Bedroom need better cleaning. Dust and particles on carpet. Couldn't have been hoovered before check-in. Carpet was threadbare, needed replacing.|Breakfast had good choice, but it needed replenishing faster. Not enough tables at busy times and was very congested. ||Overall:|Nice hotel, would have rated higher if the small improvements were made.

My daughter Laila and I, stayed at this hotel in Mid-November which I had booked via a holiday portal. The front desk staff led by Hiba were excellent and very accomodating and helped us where possible. Zain also part of the front desk team was very knowledgable about the local area, best places to visit and how to get there. The manager Jamal ensured that we had a good experience overall. Breakfast was excellent everyday although if you are from the UK take your own tea bags :) Moez who was the manager for the breakfast period was excellent as was as the Head Chef who always had a smile on his face and was Moez tag partner in this service. The rooms are very spacious and room service was spot on. Apology for the lateness in this review but we got there in the end :)

We arrived after midnight so there was a delay at reception but staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable bed and lovely quiet rooms and bathrooms. The adaptable departure times are perfect for transit stops. It’s very close to souk waqif and the national museum which is renowned for its architecture. The breakfast was sumptuous but expensive.
