While not overly large, the rooms are airy and provide all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. The backstory It was designed by French architects Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas. It features a unique system of movable panels that allows the building to regulate the amount of sunlight that enters the hotel, always providing a pleasant environment. It’s a one-of-a-kind structure, and provides a fascinating glimpse into the future of architectural design amidst the climate of Doha. The rooms The modern take on traditional Qatari design is evident with the crisp linen and mostly-beige color palette sprinkled with subtle examples of Arabic art. While the bright rooms are simple and understated, they provide all the essential amenities and comforts for a memorable experience. All rooms feature a minimum of large TVs, desk space, sleek bathrooms and large beds. Food and drink With three onsite restaurants, there’s a lot of choice at Jouri. The hotel's Executive Chef, Ahmed Al-Thani, draws upon his experience working in some of the world's most celebrated kitchens to create unique dishes that are as delicious as they look. Whether opting to try traditional Qatar favorites like machbous rice with lamb, or venture into modern fusion dishes like tuna ceviche with avocado and grapefruit, the creativity is impressive. The spa Precious “me-time” is easy to indulge in at the onsite spa. The wellness staff offer a range of pampering treatments to choose from including massages and facials in private rooms.
