Avoid this predatory credit card company at all cost. In 13 years of credit history, I have never missed a payment with Wells Fargo. Due to errors on their end and predatory policies, Chase turned a $2.52 balance into $162.03 balance (over the course of 2 months) and reported it to the credit bureau for 30+ days late payment. Was it my fault for having a $2.52 balance — yes. Should my credit score drop 100 points because I forgot to pay off essentially 1/2 of a Big Mac — you be the judge. Especially when I never received a statement in the mail or a phone call until after it was too late. Once I was aware of this balance I paid it almost immediately but the damage was already done. After multiple hours on the phone getting transferred to multiple people, they eventually just told me to kick rocks. I will be canceling my credit card and do all future loans/mortgages with a more scrupulous bank like Wells Fargo. I will also highly encourage everyone I know to do the same! Last think I will say is thank god I had the means to pay the balance but I can see how the disenfranchised can really be taken advantage of by the fine print — I would love for the DOJ to investigate all credit card companies and I wouldn’t hate it if they started with Chase!

My Chase credit card payment of over $2,700 was taken out twice (due to Chase). I only found out because I got a low-funds alert from my bank. When I called Chase, I was told it would take 7 days to give back the extra payment. It only took them 1-2 days to take my money; she could not explain why it would take so long to give it back. When I asked who would pay the fees if any other bills could not be paid due to insufficient funds in my account (due to the >$2,700 overpayment to Chase), I was told I would be responsible and the person basically hung up on me (she let me know she was going to hang up, but she refused to put me through to anyone who could help the situation that CHASE caused). I called my bank, who said I could get the funds back sooner if I filled out a form, but once one of the payments was taken back, there could be fees and I'd have to pay them if Chase wouldn't. I know the answer to that!! I was told by a Chase employee on the day the payment was due that although I'd set up autopay (6 weeks before; this was the first card payment), it wouldn't work for the first bill so I had to do it manually. So, at 9:30 pm my time and with 30 minutes left before being late (since payment is due by 10 pm my time and midnight eastern time, even though I live in mountain time), I made the payment manually online. I actually got a message saying that I might be charged late fees since it was after 8 pm eastern time! Then the autopay when through the next day.

I am a victim of a wire transfer fraud that occurred on March 24, 2023, when funds were sent from my bank, American Airlines Federal Credit Union (AAFCU), to a fraudulent account at JPMorgan Chase Bank. The Chase account was restricted the same day the fraud was identified. AAFCU has been extremely helpful and supportive for more than two years in working to recover my funds. Unfortunately, my experience with Chase Bank's Fraud Department has been very disappointing. Despite multiple follow-ups initiated by both AAFCU and myself, Chase has not been cooperative or responsive in resolving this matter. I even opened a Chase account and contacted the Executive Office to continue following up. Chase requested extensive documentation to show how the funds were transferred to a fraudulent account, and I provided all requested and reliable documents. However, no meaningful action has been taken to return my funds. From my experience, Chase appears more focused on protecting the fraudulent account than assisting a fraud victim. This situation has caused significant financial and emotional stress. I hope Chase improves how it handles fraud cases and better supports customers and victims of financial crime.

This bank is an absolute nightmare. First they wouldn’t even let me withdraw my own money unless I gave them “official employment info.” Their system literally forced me to put a lie on file just to keep using my account — how is that even legal? Then out of nowhere, they closed my account with zero notice, zero explanation, and zero chance to fix it. I had every right to deposit and withdraw MY money whenever I wanted, but Chase decided to just cut ties for no reason. Now I’m left broke for days waiting on my own funds because they “might” mail me a check whenever they feel like it. Imagine trusting a bank with your hard-earned money and then being treated like a criminal when you did nothing wrong. This is what Chase does. They hide behind “policy” and “compliance” while screwing over regular people who depend on access to their money. I would not recommend Chase to my worst enemy. If you value your money and your sanity, DO NOT BANK WITH CHASE

I ordered online a $25 gift card as a Christmas gift. I had never ordered from this store before. Immediately the dumb AI bot set up by the bank then proceeded to cancel my order. I was supposed to go through the entire order entry process again??? When I phone customer service, their "helpful" overseas customer service people confirmed that I did indeed have to re-enter everything. It's one thing to confirm a legitimate transaction via text. It's another when the order is canceled and a buyer has to go through all the info input again. Hoping they get their AI money's worth . I purchased with a competing card.

UPDATE! Umm, 99% of these reviews CONTINUE to misunderstand the assignment!! 🙄 I posted a pic of this building while the skyscraper was still under construction. Once completed BY END OF 2025, the tower will serve as the corporate Headquarters of JPMorgan Chase & Co. The building is noteworthy because the skyscraper rests on a base of inverted triangles. I found the building rather unpleasant to look at but I gave it 5 stars for spite! I continue to shake my head at the "reviews" here. This building does NOT, NOT, NOT house a Chase consumer bank branch NOR a Chase Customer Service call center and it NEVER will!! Even a million incorrect, ill-informed, and just plain weird Google reviews can't turn a still-under-construction CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS skyscraper into a consumer walk-in bank!! This fact gives me more satisfaction than it should, probably. You can't go inside this building and trade a $20 for two $10s, there are no drive up "windows", no bank "tellers" with old school pneumatic tubes. Furthermore, please, please do not enter this building seeking free bank-logo pens or lollipops. As a Level 9 Local Guide, I kindly request that before you write a review about JP Morgan Chase & Co Headquarters, ask yourself whether you are about to engage in any of the following....Bitching about fraudulent checks you ridiculously accepted into your Chase acct, lamenting Chase's role in allegedly holding up the disbursement of your fortune from Mongolia, feeling aggrieved because you knowingly failed to pay a Chase loan or credit card bill, or if you are expressing indignation that there are no Chase executives available on demand in the Headquarter's lobby waiting to hear your amazing AI Crypto business pitch. Unless you are commenting specifically about the JP Morgan Chase &Co Building's location, history, façade, or architectural details, please stop typing, delete, and move on.

The worst experiences banking with this institution. I believe nobody knows how to do their job in this industry. Terrible absolutely awful customer service. They expect me to create a different account because they screwed up so much with Fraud and it’s been the worst experience of a lifetime. They are basically letting people steal your personal information and get away with highway robbery. Lost all trust and sense of security within this banking institution.
