If I could rate this meal and experience a 100/10 I would! The staff are amazing! Very knowledgeable on celiac and gluten free. Lots of gluten free options and swaps. Dedicated gluten free fryers and grill! Best meal ever! Will be going back many many times!

I've ate here several times now and it's about time I give the place a review. My go to has always been the Mo Philly. Hands down best one in Jeff City. I tried Piggy nachos tonight and they're awesome. Everyone complains about the cost of food and eating out these days. I believe my bill came up to be $23 for the Nachos and order of fries before the 15% tip. I ain't bitching about that because as you can tell from the pictures, I got my moneys worth for sure. I may have a new favorite there, Piggy Nacho's!

JQ’s is really good food, I heard people come from near and far to enjoy it. It’s a must try. The smoked chicken wings sell out fast so hurry in to get them. The staff is so friendly like being with friends. Not a lot of places to sit. It’s very small yet. They do have outdoor seating. I’m sure a bigger restaurant will be coming soon.

Fantastic place to eat, offers delivery or pick up or dine in. I always get DAT tacos and the baked beans. Fried pork belly tacos at fenominal!! Service is fast and food is always hot and good!!!

The brisket burger and smoked wings are some of the best I have ever had in my life. Staff is friendly and always will answer any questions. Don’t sleep on the cucumber salad. The prices might seem high compared to McDonalds but the quality is well worth it.

Yo! Holy shite this place is amazing. Burger with brisket in it?? Ummm, yes. Came out hot, greasy and delicious!! Counter service was great. Inside was small but rad. Fries were better than the chips. Check them out.

JQ's had been on my list a while, and I finally got there moving week. We actually went twice! The first time, they were out of pork and hotdogs, which is what I wanted, so we went back for lunch. I got the Street Corn Dawg with their famous baked beans. The dawg was gigantic and full of flavor. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The beans were so good. They were thick, I don't like runny baked beans, and had pulled pork in them... could be a meal by themselves. Hubs got the nachos. They were piled high and the pork was so good. We also got the 5 wing special with the sweet and apicy D.A.T honey. He had a kick you may not expect and I love the jumbo wing over a party wing. They have both inside and outside seating. It was a beautiful day for sitting outside. The decor inside is very cool and interesting with all the memorabilia. The service was excellent and the staff were so helpful with recommendations and letting us try a taste of things before purchase. You must visit!

Dropped into JQ's for lunch today for the first time. I knew it was going to be delicious when I saw how small it was. Just a little "dive" is what I like to call it; these places always have the best food!! When we walked in we were greeted by a girl behind the counter who asked if it was our first time in. HUGE plus on service there. She gave us some suggestions and told us we could sit wherever. We ordered at the window. Service was extremely quick and tentative. The fat boy bacon cheeseburger was made with ground briquet and HUGE! It came out piping hot with melted cheese and fresh crispy bacon. Delicious and juicy. The fries were hot and also very crisp and tasty. The wings were smoked and tossed in dat honey sauce. They were in fact jumbo wings. The wings were not my favorite, although I think it may have been the sauce. I would try them again with another sauce.

Great little place in Jeff City! From the time you get out of your car you know it's going to be good! My favorite kind of place. Home cooked, fresh food that tastes amazing. Wow. This place was so good. Food is the show. No alcohol, no fountain sodas. Fresh items on Nachos and pulled pork made for amazing taste. Portions big enough for 2 meals for me. Food made me bring back the fifth star bc I was taking away 1 for no beer. Quick prep, friendly people. Will be back. Clean hole in the wall quirky place.

The food was great! The staff fantastic! They brought our food out, were very helpful guiding us through the menu and helping my wife eat gluten free. They made conversation and just were all around friendly. The place is small, but the seating is very nice. I would encourage anyone to come and enjoy a hot dog, a burger, or a pulled pork sandwich!

My sister recommended JQ's for us for a casual dinner out in Jeff City. The woman that helped us with the menu was helpful, the place was very interesting, reminded me of restaurants down in Austin, a lot of character. Each of us ordered something different. I had the burger. It had good flavor and very greasy. Everything was good, but wouldn't give it the great adjective.

They have a gluten free bun, and it's good! The staff is knowledgeable of what is gluten free and what is not. I don't eat beef often but I did try the burger, it was great! It is made with ground brisket! I didn't care for the baked beans as it was more pulled pork and very few beans. The only thing I could complain about is that I wanted bbq sauce and the girl said they didn't serve that, but sitting on a shelf right by the order window is bottled bbq sauce? The place is tiny but they do offer some outside seating also. It's a very good "hole in the wall" restaurant and I do recommend it if you are a burger connoisseur!

Absolutely do not miss! So delicious, made to order, and unique! While there are many fun things on the menu, I opted for the Fat Boy Burger and it did not disappoint. Thick, juicy, with delicious signature sauce. Only seating for about 15 and you will definitely want to channel your inner Guy Fieri as it feels like a hidden dive. Would certainly be worth a drive over for take out if you don't want to stay. So glad we came over when Prison Brews had a closed kitchen. Fat Boy Burger

The food was great. Thoroughly enjoyed my burger. Service was neutral as it's a walk up counter. I think it had a nice ambiance to it. Overall it was great.

War pig was great, but other people in our group would not stop talking about how good the burger was. Makes me think that whatever you order will be delicious.

Ordered fish tacos ...where's the fish? There were remnants of skin and a minuscule amount of a soggy mash that might have been cod. Shame on me for ordering fish in a barbecue place, but was expecting that everything put out of your kitchen would be worthy of your reputation. So disappointing. (The extra two stars were for the French fries, which were quite good), but step up your game, boys!

Lots of food for the price. Very good only tried because it was on yelp, and so worth it. My husband kept thanking me for suggesting it after he ate his lunch.

Great food and atmosphere!!! I pick this place for me and my daughter based on the 5 star status, and they did not disappoint!! Super friendly greeting from Ravyn who made the whole experience amazing!! She gave these newbies the run down on the menu and wing special. They customized the nachos for my daughter and the Fat Boys Burger was great. Unfortunately, Ravyn sold me on the wings, so I got an order of them too. WOW!!! Just incredible!!!!

I was recently visiting Jefferson City and decided to stop in for some food. The workers are all super friendly and helped me make a decision on The Brisket Burger. This was an excellent choice and definitely satisfied my craving for some good barbecue. Along with the fries I left JQ's feeling full and ready to continue on with my day! I wish there could have been a little more sauce, but besides that a delicious experience and a cute addition to Jefferson City.

Simple menu involving smoked meats and a few sides. I enjoyed the GIGANTIC baked potato, which was made even tastier by the ease of which I could gaze upon the owner's KISS memorabilia, displayed in a large shadow box above the table. They seemed a bit stressed the night we were there, things like forgetting our ice water and only delivering one fork to our table of two. This is a small venue, but they deliver to the tiki bar located at a diagonal across the intersection so one could enjoy a cocktail while waiting and then be ready for the meal when it arrives.

I picked up curbside Togo while in town. I got The Pig Sandwich and a side of baked beans (I like trying multiple sides at BBQ places). Wow was the first thing that came to mind. The sandwich is simple and delicious - comes with fries and Cole slaw. The bun is toasted and adds a really nice crunch. The baked beans have amazing flavor, probably some of the best I've had. I like the chunky salt on the fries, too. Overall, great meal and will get it again next time I'm in town!

6 STARS!! This place has the most amazing BBQ. My husband got the bacon cheese burger and I got The Pig Sandwich. We are visiting from the state of Cali and this is the best BBQ we have ever had! Thanks Quentin for the conversation!

This is absolutely an awesome place to have great BBQ. The hamburger is said to be brisket, the sauces were excellent. Only problem is minimal seating inside. But damn that was better than KCQ. Going back very soon for more of that awesomeness to feed my addiction of great BBQ.

One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever eaten! It was the pork BLT, and it was fantastic, even though, I have to admit, I ended up taking off the lettuce and tomato. The bun was nice and toasted, the pulled pork was smoky and tender, and the bacon was perfect. The fries were good, but, I had forgotten to ask for extra barbecue sauce, and ketchup gags me, so I ended up taking them home and reheating them later. I used their curbside service, and my order was ready quickly and brought out promptly. I was very happy to see that they did not use Styrofoam for their take-out container! Definitely will go back here next time I am in town!

This was a great little restaurant for lunch on a dreary day. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was cozy! I love the truck table. Very cute! They also sell their sauces.

Cozy joint with only 18 seats. Order at counter and either brought to you, or carry out. Heard good things about it. I ordered the Cuban. It was fantastic. Felt like a pound of meat, all well cooked, tender, and moist. Nice cheese and pickles, and I just added a little D.A.T. Sauce to give it some kick. Sandwiches all come with fries, which were good if standard. I won't take off for lack of sides options, since their focus is their meats, but something they should add.

Food was tasteful, pulled pork by itself was amazing. Fries were crispy and I ate the whole order. Establishment was clean. Staff was very welcoming & helpful. Party of 6 with special orders and they didn't seem bothered at all. Definitely a spot to check out if your around the area or just driving through.

After a long day on the water, kiddos are tired, mama is hangry & JQ's did NOT disappoint!! 48mins before closing and they gave fr wet recommendations & were more than happy to take our order. (All the stars!) Her burger & his fish tacos were delicious but the nachos definitely hit the right spot (salty/savory with the right amount of crunch!) BEST DAMN HOLE IN THE WALL THIS SIDE OF THE RIVER- change my mind!!! DEFINITELY looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu and the patio seating outside!! Thanks fellas!

Just stumbled upon this place while in town for a conference. And WOW the food was absolutely amazing!!! We had the fish tacos and they were the best we've ever had (and we've sampled fish taco all over the world). I can't wait to go back and try the burger and the pork tacos. This will be a regular stop when going through Jeff City!

So again with the excuses but hey it's hard to relocate across the US! Truth be told it probably would have taken me a bit to find this little spot of pure deliciousness - thanks to my brother knowing me so well HE found this amazing place from across the US and called me in a gift certificate...he's getting a good present this year So let me start off by saying capacity 15..yes you heard me 15 and not a seat in the house! That tells you right there you're at the right place. Service... excellent Food... excellent! Amazing funky fusion with bbq like I have never had. From the smoked wings to the monster stuffed spud to the brisket burger ... we couldn't get it shoveled down fast enough and no shame either! Can not wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and soon!

Wow, JQ's did not disappoint. We had to drive an hour and a half to Jeff City to get our title for a truck. I was craving a good burger and found this place on Yelp. I wasn't expecting much of the inside of the place. It is small, but we liked it. We were the only ones there on a Friday for lunch, which made us a little leary, but locals were definitely calling in and picking up orders. So I got the burger, and my husband got the shrimp Po'boy the minute he saw it on the menu. Both were outstanding. My burger had the greatest crust on it but was juicy and flavorful. The Po'boy was ranked up there on par with the ones we've had in Louisiana. The fries were excellent, but the other stand out was the baked beans. The portion was huge, but the flavor was unlike anything we've had homemade. They were sweet and spicy and more the consistency of a chili with all the meat in there. A very memorable meal that was definitely worth the drive. I think it's going to be a must stop place for lunch anytime we're within the Jeff City limits. Great job JQ's!

We catered from this restaurant a few weeks ago. The customer service and food were both amazing. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are in the Jefferson city area. You will not regret.

This place is phenomenal. The guys behind counter were super friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate everywhere. We had burgers with bacon and cheese, fries, baked beans and cucumber salad. All delicious. Loved the atmosphere, choice of radio station, friendliness of staff, clean establishment and delicious food. Highly, highly recommend.

Found this place on Yelp and so glad we tried it. I had the hot dog and wife had tater tacos. The hot dog was delicious along with the frys. Tater tacos were delicious and portions are great. Food was all fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Jeff city!

Great Wings!!!! We love the staff, and finally found great wings. We love them naked with sauce on the side and these were crispy with GREAT SAUCE! Loved it.

Went to JQ's for the first time today. Actually that's not true. I've tried going two other times and it was too busy and I was too hungry to wait! I ordered the Spudmageddon and it did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back and try the nachos and tacos! Also- lots of gluten free options!

Great fresh food prepared and served to order. We ordered the fish tacos and the half pound hot dog wrapped in bacon and deep fried. My tacos came with warm tortilla chips and pico de Gallo. Delish. Husband's hot dog came with freshly made waffle chips and special smoky sauce. He devoured every bite. We love how the place is tastefully decorated with musical memorabilia. The owners are friendly and we were able to taste test some broccoli salad and chili as we were leaving. So good! Wanted to try the fried apple pies but we were too full. Next time!
