"Between a few GSU campus buildings, the downtown location has a very narrow space packed with students, nearby capital county/city employees, and a few Door Dash drivers in pajamas who brazenly double park outside (maybe they’re delivering to the traffic and collections court just a couple blocks away). It’s mostly a to-go spot, unless you enjoy eating with hungry people hovering over you. There are a few counter seats along the wall, but since most of that counter is filled with stacked to-go boxes, the message seems to be get your wings and f*ck off. Yet to their credit, orders are out the kitchen fast (just not avoid-a-parking-ticket fast). " - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

Cramped. Dirty. A very unpleasant experience. This was my first time eating at J.R. Crickets and it will definitely be my last. There only seemed to be one employee actually doing his job and attending to patrons. I observed the remainder of the others lounging around their stations or flirting with customers. I thought I had made a clean break once I left, that was until I opened up my take-home container and bit into my food. There was a piece of mystery plastic in my food. Unsure of where it came from or how it ended up there, I promptly threw the rest of my food away. I will be sure to steer clear of this chain and tell my friends to do the same.

I had my 1st experience there yesterday. I had wings, which were pretty good by the way. I also ordered a featured drink on their menu. The bartender didn't know how to make it and the drink I received wasn't what I ordered. The atmosphere was very inviting though.

Had to be the slowest restaurant in Atlanta....they cook each order one by one and said they couldn't refund my money when I wanted to cancel my order. So make sure you like what you order and don't have anywhere to be or no care for any level of customer service....and whatever you do don't order the chicken and waffles. Will never Order from or refer anyone to this place. Too many other good spots to eat in Atlanta to waste your time here.

This location has terrible customer service. When you walk in, expect to wait several minutes for acknowledgement, and then expect attitude. The staff could care less about customers and seem more interested in closing down the restaurant. All wings are pre-cooked/fried and then refried when you order. This spot does not deserve your time or money. It is also full of sketchy people. Shooting here less than 6 months ago

The staff isnt really personable. The cashier looks like she hates her life and the owner doesnt come off as friendly. The food is either a hit or a miss and sometimes the wings taste like old grease. I have never been to a wing spot where ranch or blue cheese does not come with wings or fries but it comes with the meal if you get celery.

So I have not been at this location for about a year but the wings had great flavor! A bit small for my liking but overall great wings. I also got a great drink to go along with my wings. A good place to kick back with friends and an overall a good experience.

Went into the restaurant at about 11:30pm for a late bite to eat. I had heard so much about the place and seeing that I visit Atlanta about 3 Times a year I figured I’d try them out. Upon entering I noticed that there was a young lady and gentleman begmhind the counter I was told by the lady that when I’m ready come to the counter to order I felt it was a little odd but was going to still try them out. While looking at the menu I asked about other locations her comment was you can look them up on google with a dismissive attitude that was the last straw and decided that all the hype wasn’t worth a nasty attitude or me losing my cool. However there was another location about 10 minutes down the road so I’ll let you know how that turned out as for now though this one is a no

12 bucks for a measly club wrap! I ordered a club wrap from this place on uber eats. they took 40 minutes to prepare the wrap. When I called them, they just hung up on me. I tried calling again - no answer. The wrap itself arrived cold and was tiny. Worst food ordering experience in the city. I hope uber eats takes them off for being this rude and inefficient.
