The Best J.R. Crickets Atlanta Locations Ranked In Order - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Between a few GSU campus buildings, the downtown location has a very narrow space packed with students, nearby capital county/city employees, and a few Door Dash drivers in pajamas who brazenly double park outside (maybe they’re delivering to the traffic and collections court just a couple blocks away). It’s mostly a to-go spot, unless you enjoy eating with hungry people hovering over you. There are a few counter seats along the wall, but since most of that counter is filled with stacked to-go boxes, the message seems to be get your wings and f*ck off. Yet to their credit, orders are out the kitchen fast (just not avoid-a-parking-ticket fast)." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams, jacinta howard

J.R. Crickets - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"It’s no surprise this iconic wing spot makes the list of best State Farm Arena foods. Although this location didn’t top our J.R. Crickets Power Ranking, there’s something elite about snacking on lemon pepper flats and crinkle fries while watching young phenom Jalen Johnson windmill dunk. Two locations in the arena make it easy to find your way to the unofficial wing ministry of the city. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Visiting from Buffalo and this is the best food we've had in this city so far by a long shot. We had the steak and chicken philly subs which were delicious. We also had to try their wings which we were skeptical about because nobody does it like Buffalo but were relieved when we met the friendly previous owner who was wearing a Bills shirt. The wings were 10/10! Best wings ive ever had outside the Buffalo area!

Love J.R. Crickets wings! Always get the 10 piece, Hot Buffalo, with fries and they're always great! Must admit, the fish smelled delicious! Think I will try it next time I go downtown. Service was great, fast, and friendly, wait time was minimal, everything was hot and fresh. One of my favorite wing spots in Atlanta!

Got a big box of wings & fries on our walk back from the Masquerade to eat in our room at the Candler. It wasn't a bad experience. We got the signature flavor of Atlanta, lemon pepper wet. The wings were a bit anemic. The sauce was a bit too salty. That said none of it was by any means bad and the price wasn't too unreasonable, especially for downtown Atlanta. The place was packed, and while we certainly waited for a hot minute, it wasn't too ridiculous. The food was fresh, still plenty hot by the time we got back to the room. I wouldn't rule out stopping here again.

My family and I were spending the night in downtown Atlanta and our daughter who attends GSU was insistent on us trying their chicken wings since she’s been before. And I’m gonna be honest, the wings were on point! Like I don’t typically eat the entire wing because it’s not cooked to my liking but I devoured these. The rest of my family equally enjoyed their wings/tenders but they didn’t think to take pictures. FYI: we ordered from the little computer because there were five of us and we couldn’t decide but it is a little finicky.

Really only came here because of the show Atlanta. I got the 10 piece Lemony Pepper Wet wings with fries. They did not skim out on the lemon pepper seasoning. It was decent but I didn’t finish all of it.

I was supposed to sit back, eat wings with bae and enjoy watching the game, but these hollow, over cooked wings had other plans for my day. I’m disgusted and disappointed.. How hard is it to cook wings? This is NOT a good place to eat for plans to enjoy wings but rather a very last minute (ain’t nothing else open) type of option!

I went to J.R. Crickets to order some food and immediately noticed that the prices on the self-serve kiosk didn’t match the prices on the menu. When I brought it up, the woman who was cooking—who I understand was the only person working at the time—responded by yelling at me. I get that she may have been overwhelmed, but that doesn’t excuse unprofessional behavior. The situation could’ve been handled much more calmly and respectfully. I will never step foot into this location again. No one should be treated like that just for asking a question.

This is ONE of THE most nastiest, unprofessional, horrible customer service locations EVER!!! Not to mention over priced! Today the person taking orders got into a screaming match with a CUSTOMER and sprayed pepper spray at the glass near the food and had everyone chocking what an unprofessional idiot! Save your coins and a belly ache (nasty food, literally) Don't Eat Here!!! I will never order here again!!!! Horrible shame so close to my office and I was going to use them to cater our next faculty function!!!
