The sugar cookies are thick & lots of dough. I am not a fan of thick shortbread like cookies. They look beautiful!

Such a cute bakery! Cookies are great but don't skip on the cheesecake and cake balls! I like to buy a random assortment of cake balls and have my kids guess what flavors they are and rate them as their favorite to least favorite! Carrot cake and Red velvet are my two favorite flavors! So good!

Rude!!!! Less than helpful. Stopped by to pick something up for colleagues bday last minute and the girl behind counter had bad attitude and threw the little cake balls in a box. Hopefully they taste ok. Wont be stopping by ever again as there are many other choices in the area

Cookie order completely wrong and all the employees could say was, well, ya, It’s wrong. No apology. No suggestions on how to make it right. Then no help counting the remaining 150 to make sure they were right. We have been going here for years and this is the rudest experience to date. Really disappointed in how the service is allowed to treat customers.

I recommend J.Raes 10/10. The staff is so friendly and truly works with you in what you want. I regularly go through them for client cookies and they never disappoint

Very disappointed in the service I received. I bought cookies for a cookie exchange and then the cookies were not fully cooked. I called and spoke to the manager. Her name is Audrey and she tried to tell me that their cookies were just known for being soft and I can understand soft, but uncooked as you can see you can tell in the picture that I have included. I thought she might ask for me to take it back so she could see but no. I guess they can’t make a mistake very rude then I told her well I’ll just go on their web page and give you a review and her response was will you go ahead and do what you need to do and just hung up the phone on me

Every time I eat her cookies, I'm shocked at how good they are. Her cheesecakes are to DIE for, and those sugar cookies will be the BEST you'll ever have in your life. 10/10 would recommend

Best sugar cookies in Dallas! They have a great selection of treats from cookies to cupcakes and cheesecakes (fave flavor is the white chocolate so definitely recommend trying that). Whatever sweet treat you’re craving, J. Rae’s will leave definitely leave you satisfied!

I think this is the best iced sugar cookie in Dallas. I just had one five minutes ago and I want to tell everyone about it. I don't know anything about their store or their other baked goods, but I could eat lots of their iced sugar cookies. I bet you could too!

Came in for an afternoon treat. They had 6 flavors of cupcakes to chose from and some beautifully decorated cookies. We purchased 3 cupcakes (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, red velvet, and vanilla cake with chocolate frosting) and then sampled the sugar cookies. We were surprised that all flavors had a strong underlying flavor of marzipan. The red velvet was less noticeable but still there. For someone who loves that flavor, I recommend these cupcakes. But, if you are like my family and don't care for the flavor of marzipan, it can be a big disappointment. It might be helpful if they label which cupcakes have marzipan flavoring.

I gave this place another try. I went in 1 1/2 hours before closing and they only had 2 cookies to sell. What a waste of time. Will someone else PLEASE open a cookie shop on the area.

These cookies are the best. Customers service is the absolute worst. You walk in and no one tried to help you literally ever. It's truly baffling...

Are you throwing a holiday party, baby shower, birthday party, gender reveal party, or just wanting to give a delicious gift (even to yourself)? Order J Rae's. I call them for specialty cookies for client meeting treats, when I have friends over to watch the Cowboys, when I need something to bring to a Friendsgiving, and when my mom is throwing a Colonial themed golf party at her house. My dad LOVES the red velvet cake cake balls, my boyfriend loves the chocolate chip cookies, my mom loves the chocolate chip cheesecake and I love the carrot cake cupcake the most. I recommend to try it all, but definitely a go to if you're hosting a party or need something to bring. Always a huge hit and get way more compliments than anything I could prepare myself. And they're so cute! The owner is the NICEST and is there most days I go in. Just a really awesome place all around.

I've never given an unsatisfactory review and as much as I'm rooting for small business owners this was not a good experience. I visited today and ordered 1 cookie & a cupcake. The staff were not helpful or kind at all. It took someone a few mins to speak and when other staff members came from the back no one greeted me. Then the lady behind the counter didn't try to go over any flavors or anything just stood their in a dry demeanor waiting for me to order. It was my first time so I didn't know what all they had to offer. Either way I won't be back or recommend this shop to others. Being kind and greeting a customer takes 5secs. On top of that the cupcake was so small I could've made it at home. Super disappointed in the experience.

The best sugar cookies! I've stopped by and bought out of their case and also ordered custom cookies for our baseball team. Everything has been delicious and perfectly decorated. Highly recommend!

J Rae's is the absolute BEST. I could eat those amazing cookies every day for 10 years and not get sick of them. The owner- Audrey- is a delight and so kind. She made my daughters bday cookies so special!

The cupcakes are good, but can they ever make any without sprinkles or sugar on top?? I've asked a few times to get some plain, because I buy for people who are unable to eat the artificial dyes in the sprinkles and sugars but for some reason it must be a law that every Cupcake has to have sprinkles, so frustrating! How about making some plain for people who don't want that fake stuff on the cupcakes.

I bought 10 cupcakes today from J Rae's. They were absolutely disgusting. All of the cupcakes tasted old and the frosting all tasted sour. My family was very disappointed. I will never return.

Horribly disappointed - never ordered from here before so decided to try them for four dozen cake balls. I ordered an assortment and told them it was for a birthday party. The balls are not decorated festively, they're boring. When I asked to see them (they were prepaid and boxed) and said that I expected more, the manager/owner said to me "Did you ask them to decorate them special?" I told her that I told the person that it was for a birthday party... I took the order and left. She didn't care and I will never order from here again. Wow - way to make a bad impression and lose a customer.

Best bakery in Dallas!! The sugar cookies are DELICIOUS, but don't snooze on the 'top shelf' cookies and mini cheesecakes. I'm so thankful there's an option for fun designs without the cookies being rock hard and sacrificing in taste. They have become my go to for gifts and parties! The J.Rae's team have always been so kind and accommodating with my orders. Highly recommend this local business!

Love love love J Raes! Their white chocolate cheesecake has been a favorite of mine for years! The customer service is wonderful! Highly recommend.
