What an absolute gem of a restaurant. From the moment I walked in, every detail came together to create an experience that was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfectly complemented by great music that sets the tone without overpowering the conversation. Add to that the top-notch service and a genuinely lovely hostess, and it was clear from the start that this place takes pride in excellence. The food, however, is where this restaurant truly shines. Every dish was crafted with care, balance, and remarkable attention to flavor. Two standouts that I’m still thinking about are the Miso Caesar salad and the Wagyu steak platter. The Miso Caesar was a creative and elevated take on a classic—rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The Wagyu steak platter was simply outstanding: cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why great ingredients, when treated with respect, make all the difference. The service deserves special recognition. The staff were attentive without being intrusive—empty plates were cleared promptly, drinks were always refilled, and everything flowed seamlessly. What made it even more special were the genuine, friendly conversations with the team. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, which elevated the entire experience. From start to finish, this restaurant delivered on every level—food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality. I’m truly grateful I had the chance to experience this place in Bangkok, and it’s somewhere I would return to without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our experience at JUA. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, even without a reservation. The interior is stunning and sets the tone right away. The cocktails were a real highlight: creative, perfectly balanced, and clearly made by people who know their craft. Not your standard cocktails you find everywhere. Being able to taste the sake before choosing was a very nice touch and says a lot about their attention to detail. Service was spot on throughout the evening. Water glasses were refilled at the right moments, sometimes even with an extra ice cube without us asking. The staff clearly knows the menu inside out and happily gives recommendations. We shared skewers as a starter, four were perfect for two people, followed by three dishes to share and one dessert. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. What really makes JUA stand out is the atmosphere. The team and the owner radiate warmth and genuinely make you feel welcome. Cozy, professional, and refined without feeling stiff. A place we’ll gladly come back to.

Cocktail was very nice, but the food was so so and that uni pasta was NOT WORTH 1200 baht at all..with only three piece of uni..

My fav place in Bangkok!! We are from Italy so we don’t come to BKK very often! We were here last year and it was love at first sight… the staff is very nice and caring (especially Ann), the food is excellent from the skewers to sushi.. the location in cozy and feels like being at home. Last but not least: the music is perfectly on point! So we came back this year!!! It was even better then we remembered!

Honestly, some of the best food I’ve ever ever had!!! Absolutely incredible, every dish was so delicious. Would especially recommend the uni pasta, pork cheek, chicken thigh, beef cheek (I could go on). So annoyed about the bad reviews here just for parking- the staff are also the loveliest people ever. And the cocktails! Genuinely can’t recommend enough, and I never write reviews.

If you looking for a fun experience with ridiculously good food this is the place . The owners and staff are so friendly and the concept of small bites gives you the variety of great flavors. My fav dishes are the minced chicken, kompot spiced chicken wings, tuna tataki , tomato salad . Maguro tataki hand roll and I can keep going on . A must if you in Bangkok

Jua is a trendy izakaya-style bar and restaurant that brings a slice of Tokyo to Bangkok. The yakitori is smoky and tender, and the sake selection is extensive. The vibe is cool and sophisticated — dim lights, minimalist decor, and great music. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, making recommendations that always hit the mark. A top choice for Japanese food lovers.
