Exceptional Willamette Valley Restaurants to Visit Post-Wine Tasting

"Juanita’s is an all-day cafe serving Mexican classics done right — think dripping carnitas, tinga de pollo, or carne asada tacos, and burritos stuffed with chile Colorado, Cotija cheese, and guacamole. In the mornings, try the Almond Joy latte and a breakfast burrito, or, if looking for a sweet treat, ice cream is also available to cool off with." - Emily Teel, Rebecca Roland

This is a cute little place with an ice cream shop adjacent. My daughter and I were on a weekend road trip. We stopped in here for a quick bite and glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. The corn tortillas are handmade. Nothing beats a handmade tortilla!

She is always fantastic and on point, fantastic food and family place to eat, also an ice cream parlor attached to the restaurant! On slower days she runs them both, but she always has a smile and doesn't mind if you order right up to closing at 8 pm ( if I'm not mistaken it's 8 pm might be seasonal hours I'm not sure) A long time part of our tiny town and community, she even has a "Pirate bowl " in honor of our highschool mascot:)

My friend and I ordered 2 Pastor and 2 carnitas tacos each and a bottle of coke and was charge $28. I reluctantly gave her a $2 tip, not becuase I dont like tipping but I think tips should be based on the quality of service and food. I asked for a paper reciept and was told she would bring it to me later. We sat down and waited for our order and got busy talking. Our meal arrived and the meat was dry and item was small portioned. It dawned on me that the tacos were posted $2.50 each and I was overcharged, unless a coke is $8. When I inquired about my reciept and what the items cost the owner smuggly said "I changed price on the i-pad but not on my board" and did not offer to make it right. I have worked retail and customer service in the past and it's simple and customary to give customers the price posted. Also if your gonna serve food have quality goods. I will never go back or refer anyone to this place. I want my $2 tip back and my overcharge back. I recommend Mi Lindo Nayarit in McMinnville. Their service and food is great and the prices they charge are reasonable and clearly posted.

This was by far the grossest taco I've ever had. I asked for a soft taco. She brings me a street size but charges me a soft taco price. Then we go get a jr size ice cream. The board clearly states jr. 2$. She charged me 3$. Then when we're walking out the door. The lady yells at me that my card didn't go thru. She starts scrolling thru her purchases. There was no problem with my card.

Honestly just what I needed. In town for the holidays but needed a little break. Got a latte with almond milk and a delicious carnitas bowl. They were very kind and good prices. The food was fresh!

Found this little gem hidden in Dayton, Oregon. Homemade tortillas, crispy carnitas, and ice cream for dessert. This is a good little mom and pop taco spot with a park across the street for the kids to play while you stuff your face with some Mexican goodness. If you're heading to Lincoln City or back from Lincoln City and you're on Hwy 18, stop by, grab three tacos, a pop, and you won't regret it. I'll be back for more!

So good!!! It's nice to get some real Mexican food. They even have Horchata! Their ice cream is the local gold standard of Tillamook too! The park directly across the street makes this a perfect little stop.

Great atmosphere, good prices, very friendly! $1 Taco Tuesdays (hard shell/ground beef). They did get my order wrong though :(
