Stopped here to grab a bite to eat while in RVA. They just so happened to be having a Taco and Margarita Fest. Super Fun rooftop bar with DJ. And did I mention the Tacos!! OMG!! The Brisket taco with those pickled onions .... I need the recipe. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and food. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely return.

Amazing experience, was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and lively—great for a relaxed meal or enjoying drinks at the bar. What truly made the night special was the service from Lucy. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Thank you for such a great evening!

Me and my friends had a great time for taco Tuesday. Food was good and the vibes were great. Our server I think her name was Tori was so fun and kind and stayed on top of things. We will be back

My wife and I had a kidless night and wanted to try something different. We decided on Juan's due to the rooftop. The food was above average for what we expected. The atmosphere was what we were after. Everything went ok. A little loud but decent energy. Now.... When our server, Monica T, brought us our check, no big deal. I was finishing my beer and my wife was finishing her drink. Plates had been cleared. First off putting thing was the "20% Service Charge" that was not posted anywhere... I usually tip that amount or more anyway but I don't do your tip has already been added at 20%... What a great way for the restaurant to make extra money. Secondly, it was about 10 minutes from the time Monica dropped our check off and came back, asking if "everything was ok." At which point she proceeded, in silence, to stand at the side of our table until I took out my wallet and handed her money. I can't even begin to tell you how absolutely offensive that was. We weren't camping at the table. We ordered drinks, dinner, ate our food and prepared to leave fairly rapidly. In under an hour in total. I worked in the business for years. I can tell you if one of my employees had done that.... They would have been sent home! She was flat out rude. It was personally insulting! Thirdly.... And the most offensive thing! Our bill was $76.09 and I gave her two $50 bills. Monica gave me back, very purposfuely I might add, $23. So kind of her to round down for my change and round up for the house. That's called stealing! Theft! Not your money! I don't care that it's just around a dollar. She did it because she didn't want to make change and pocket the extra. So I actually paid about 22% to the restaurant. The food was alright, the rooftop deck was pleasant. Busy and loud but pleasant. How our server, Monica T, handled our table and money.... Unexcusable! Monica ensured that my wife and I WILL NOT BE BACK! WHAT AN UTTER LACK OF BUSINESS ETHICS AND EMPLOYEE INTEGRITY! Watch your check, charges and change if you decide eat or drink there! Update: After having absolutely no clarification about very much, I felt I should ask WHY WAS ARE SIMPLE 2 TOP SINGLED OUT TO HAVE 20% ADDED TO OUR CHECK?! We ordered drinks and dinner. We stayed for about 50 minutes! I want an answer as to why we qualified to be SINGLED OUT? I'm sure some people would accept your answer/non-answer. I am not one of them! What I got from your reply is that you're going to allow servers to pick and choose whom they wish to target with this charge. I'm feeling like I need to file a complaint with the State Attorney Generals office for improper business practices/charges... In fact, I will do that today! Funny how they didn't allow me to respond or give me an email for further communication. Nothing is going to change!

I have been wanting to go to Juan’s for a while. Every year they have igloos on the rooftop that you can reserve. It is a 50 dollar reservation and you have to spend 150 on food and drinks so I wanted to split that with other adults but never could find any who wanted to go. I caved this year and took my kids. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. The igloos were absolutely beautiful inside and out. They had a Bluetooth speaker so the kids listened to their music and hung out. Most of my pics inside the igloo have my kids in it so I do not want to post those. The food was amazing. The server was absolutely amazing as well. He was very tentative to us. I felt horrible he had to be out in the cold to take care of us so I tipped him a nice bit extra on top of the gratuity they already included in the bill. The drinks were on point. I am already trying to figure out when I can take the kids again.

Since kabana rooftop closed I’ve been looking for a new rooftop spot(doesn’t compare) me and the double date I was with arrived at exactly 8:37 and proceeded to the rooftop. We sat down at about 8:40 and patiently waited for the previous peoples and alcohol cans and food to be cleaned. After about 15 minutes of waiting I got up and asked a server if we were going to be served, she smiled and said someone’s coming now. I sat back down waited another 15 minutes and had to get up AGAIN to ask another server if we were going to be served or if we should just leave. All together we waited 45 minutes for the table to even be cleaned and another 10 before the server even spoke to us, after saying all that they charged us 150$ for 4 drinks and three entrees. This place is absolutely terrible and the rooftop is enclosed by apartments so there’s not even a view. Please feel free to inspect the attached photo and ask yourself if that’s worth 150$ and an hour wait to even be greeted. They’re lucky I even paid.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem Behind the Bar! Katherine at Juan’s is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only does she make fantastic drinks—perfectly balanced, creative, and delicious—but she also brings such a warm, welcoming energy to the bar. She remembers regulars’ names and favorite orders, and she’s always happy to suggest something new if you’re feeling adventurous. Even when it’s busy, Katherine stays calm, friendly, and efficient, making sure everyone feels taken care of. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and genuine love for her job shine through every time I’m there. Juan’s is lucky to have her, and so are we as customers. Highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar and letting Katherine take care of you—you won’t be disappointed!

Yelp
Wanted to enjoy an evening on the rooftop and was not disappointed. It was a beautiful evening the drinks and the food were amazing. The rooftop is covered but the breeze was so refreshing. Loved my tacos and trying them with a special dipping sauce.

Yelp
We went to Juan's for dinner one night and it so happened to be a rooftop party. The vibe was great. The food was good too. My fiancé didn't like his meal because he didn't realize it came with onions, but it was super cute inside.

Yelp
I've never not tipped at a restaurant before, but the service here was so terrible I had to do it. My 2 best friends and I went here for dinner and drinks on a Friday afternoon, and sat at the bar. When we arrived there were maybe 1-2 other parties in the building, and at no point in the evening would I have said the restaurant was overly busy. We received service at first, and ordered drinks (and I asked for a water that I never received), but that was the last time the staff ever initiated conversation with us. After that we got chips and salsa only because the owner overheard us asking for them, and we had to flag someone down to order food. The food was okay but not great. Richmond has too good of a food scene to come back for the food itself. We thought about ordering another round of very average drinks, but no one was coming to check on us so we decided against it. Probably 25-30 minutes later my friend had to shout at the bartender to get his attention to get checks. There's an automatic 20% applied, which they obviously hadn't earned since they barely helped us at all, so we asked to have that removed. On top of all that, there was an unnecessarily loud and seemingly drunk group that was ruining the ambiance for everyone dining, especially for a 5pm dinner. And of course the owner and bartender were all over getting that group served and taken care of which seemed slimy and disrespectful of all the other diners. Again, Richmond has too many top notch restaurants with great service for this mediocre place to exist. If you're considering coming here, skip it and go to Big Chili's, Tres Macho's, Mi Jalisco, or any of the other much better Mexican restaurants in the area!

Yelp
Mediocre Mexican American Food! I purchased a rooftop experience in February. It rained early that day and it was cold all day. The reservation was paid and secured. When we arrived the restaurant not proactive on having the space warm upon arrival. The heaters were turned on when we got there and they continued to trip. The manager approved for us to receive a refund and come inside. The refund for the igloo experience still has not been refunded and the manager has not answered my emails...I had to file a claim. It would have been nice had she taken the money paid off my $250+ bill. I didn't ask for a refund I was told I would get a refund due to apologies of heaters not adequately heating. I should not have to go through hassle for a refund...be of your word. I wasn't impressed with the food. However, we still ordered a generous amount and had lots of shots for three of us on my bill.

Yelp
I love the rooftop patio serving food and drinks. Tonight they had a $3 beer special. Great price! Food is good and consistent with expectations for a regular Mexican restaurant. It's not really unique or innovative but if you are seeking a good large meal it fits at a reasonable price. My favorite meal they serve is the Shrimp Ceviche. I didn't have it tonight but it's excellent.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
I like to lead with the good so I will begin with our entrees. I had the shrimp tacos. There was nothing fancy about them but they were delicious. The shrimp were sautéed and seasoned to perfection. The tortillas were warm and soft and the lettuce crisp and crunchy. The side of jalapeño slaw was bland - lots of mayo with not even a hint of jalapeño. My companion had the Burrito San Jose which was delicious. The chicken and chorizo balanced nicely. The burrito was so large that he brought home half, deconstructed it, and used the filling for delicious omelettes the next morning. The experience did not match the entrees. I was excited to try Juan's because the photos I'd seen made it look like a fun place to be. I made a reservation expecting a busy weekend night When we arrived the restaurant was not busy. Despite having three open booths and two-tops already seated in booths the hostess tried to seat us at a table for two in the center of the restaurant by a large group with multiple small children. The host honored our request which clearly angered the manager. Our server was friendly and brought water, chips and salsa right promptly. The chips resembled store-brand chips from the grocery and the salsa tasted as like puréed canned tomatoes. The white sauce was okay. For the price-point the plastic condiment to-go cups were off putting. I ordered a margarita that I would not have been able to identify in a blind taste test. Were it not for the bright yellow color it could have passed for a light pour of tequila and water. When we asked for a to-go box for the remaining burrito, the server brought the check. We had planned to try the Juana Banana and Apple Empanadas. It really felt like they just wanted to get rid of us. We may return to visit the rooftop but the dining-room experience is not worth the price for parking. The lighting is bright and and the multiple TVs create the feel of a sports bar.

Yelp
First off, this place is SUPER CUTE... it's definitely for the IG girlies and guys! Secondly, the drinks aren't bad... in fact, I enjoyed my frozen ice cream margarita situation, that was truly yummy! However, I'm not sure who was in the kitchen the day I was there but I say no no no!!! The food was not authentic, the food wasn't even seasoned!!! I've never had a more bland plate of Mexican food in my life and I didn't get all the things that the menu said that would come with it. Our server kept forgetting things and he really just seemed overwhelmed even though there were like 7 people, at most, on the roof. If you're looking for a cute pic, this is the place but just stop at the drinks cause anything more would just be heartbreaking.

Yelp
I highly recommend the seafood nachos, I've never heard of that combo before and it was delicious Im hooked, real crab meat and shrimp, cheese, lettuce ,tomatoes on a bed of nachos!! I would definitely go back just for that, literally my new fave!! We also got the birria tacos but those were kinda bland and the dipping sauce that comes with it lacked a lot of flavor, I've had better. We also got the churros, which was a nice dessert, they were a little stale but I warmed them up and added some caramel ice cream and it made it waaaay better. Over all, please get the seafood nachos! Thank me later!

Yelp
We paid $50 for a broken igloo with no heat. No one that worked here could help us because the manager isn't here, but no one knows when he is coming? It was hands down a terrible night. This place is the worst!
google avatar

Lincoln T.

Yelp
I came to Juan's for the rooftop DJ + bar and was definitely not expecting the amazing food I got as well. I had the ceviche which was excellent, although I was not used to it being served on a plate it still had plenty of lime juice. The chips and queso were great although the queso was thin and liquidy. I also had a peach margarita which tasted great and wasn't too sweet. They also had $3 shots which were nice!

Yelp
Terrible! I went once last year for a happy hour with coworkers & wasn't impressed. I was with a large group of people & they wanted something easy & this was the closest place to us & happy hour was still going on. Some people myself included left before we even ordered. We were sat immediately but it would be ages before our server came even with waters & menus. I eventually called it quits but the people who waited it out spent over an hour waiting and they weren't even impressed with their food. The only thing they have going for them is the aesthetically pleasing rooftop & decor inside. But they truly need to focus more on improving their service & food.

Yelp
Came here for the first time last Wednesday 10/11, about 1hr before their happy hour ended. I saw online that they had soft served margaritas on the menu (why I chose to come here). Inside was nice and spacious, kinda empty, but wasn't expecting a big crowd on a Wednesday evening. My friend and I decided to go upstairs and check out the rooftop, not all that. No views on the rooftop, but looks like it would be an okay place to grab drinks on a nice weather day. Our waiter "Osed" was very nice, and checked in often. But major disappointment when asking about the soft serve margs. He informed me that their machine was broken, and often having problems like McDonald's ice cream machine My friend ordered tacos, not that great. We shared a order of queso, came out lukewarm. We asked for it to be heated up, and still came out cold. We ended up ordering happy hour margs. My friend had regular lime, I had added flavor to mine. Both were basic and tasted like bottom of the barrel juice. Gave 2 stars for the waiter. The food and drinks, no for me. No plans on returning.

Yelp
just now New The Igloo Valentine event was a fraud . First they never give us the free champagne bottle , second inside the igloo was frozen , the mini heater was not enough and my family and can't enjoy because of the cold. The $50 reservation it's to the use of the Igloo, so basically we pay $180 in food, $50 to eat outside in the cold weather and never have what they promised . ITS NOT WORTHY AT ALL!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!NO LO RECOMIENDO . UN FRAUDE .

Yelp
I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly but this place is purely disgusting. Sadly I agree with the previous reviews which were all negative however my group of friends still decided to give this place a try I have no idea why. It opened four months ago and honestly should've been shut down four months ago as well. There's so many Mexican options in the city that this one falls to the bottom of the barrel. Where do I even begin? Don't be fooled by the interiors. Our reservation was at 6 PM. We were a small party of only six people. It took about 30 minutes for waters to come out and for someone to take our drink orders. We were so lost in conversation that we had not realized it had been 1 hour and 15 minutes before The food came and the waiter suddenly apparently realized that they did not have "sushi" as advertised on the menu; therefore two members of our party had no dinner to eat whatsoever clearly this was an oversight which if he was competent enough he would've known to warn us in advance so that they could select another food item. No apology was provided. After all the food came out we didn't realize that two of the taco entree orders did not arrive because he neglected to write them down. I asked to speak to a manager three times. Three members of our party kept asking and asking and she, Julianna, finally had the nerve to come to our table of course she didn't let me talk and was trying to cut me off kept rolling her eyes and instead of offering apologies she kept trying to justify why these actions were acceptable. Julianna claimed that she never knew that there wasn't sushi available she claimed that the food came out quickly as fast as they could handle as they're very busy and this is "not a fast food restaurant." 1) I'm not expecting this to be a fast food restaurant but I don't wanna wait 90 minutes for my food, 2) if you're not capable of handling customers and why even open your doors? 3) maybe you should stop being cheap and hire more waiters so that your waiters are not overwhelmed and serve as bus boys and bartenders. When I finally asked for the check because we were fed up, we had to wait another 30 minutes and I followed up with her to see what was taking so long she screamed at me with eyes WIDE open, ROLLED her eyes on the verge of cursing at me - that was the last straw I do not recommend coming here whatsoever and I hope it shuts down immediately.

Yelp
We went here for my friend's birthday. Their drink menu is very extensive with plenty of fun options for reasonable prices. Pictured below is the inferno (fruity drink) and a skinny margarita. We also got their chocolate churros with whipped cream, which was seriously extraordinary. Also loved the fun and lively decor on the inside with great music and a rooftop section on the second floor for a more fun dancing area :)

Yelp
Birria eggrolls were pretty good. Can be hit and miss but always a good time...would recommend

Yelp
We had been wanting to try somewhere new. With all the options Richmond has to offer we noticed Juan's while walking around Jackson Ward and added it to the list. Stopping by for a Valentines dinner we got to enjoy live music great drinks and delicious food. The menu was preset which caught us off guard but we were pleasantly surprised how great everything was. We will forsure be back with the warm weather to check out the rooftop!

Yelp
It was a slow business time/day on a rainy Thursday but the server was very welcoming and helpful. I got a vegetarian burrito and it was huge! Got to save a little for leftovers. You get salsa and white sauce with the chips which I always appreciate. Pretty good happy hour specials from 5-7 on week days. I hope to come back to enjoy the rooftop vibes in the summer.

Morgan Noel R.

Yelp
Went here with a friend after seeing a post about their soft serve margaritas! The soft serve margarita was so good and a fun twist on the usual margarita. We ate outside on their rooftop and it was beautiful! The rooftop area is well decorated and perfect for photo ops. My only complaint is the service was super slow. The server was great and friendly, just seemed like everything moved very slow.

Yelp
If you're visiting the area or nearby it's definitely worth stopping by. Visiting from North Carolina and the front desk recommended this place. So I gave it a shot because you can't beat a free drink and 15% off. The place was super clean and the staff were very attentive. El chori pollo siempre me llama y vale la pena! (It's worth ordering). On top of the chips and queso while I left with a few extra pounds I'd definitely come back. Thanks for the wonderful experience and laughs watching you all dance!

Yelp
We reserved an igloo upstairs for a group of 12, fitting pretty snug, but any additional guests would've had to sit on someone's lap. The food was surprisingly super good. I got the birria tacos (8.5/10), a modelo, and a cucumber paloma (7.5/10) The quality of the drinks depends on who's working that night. The irish trash ~will~ get you drunk fast (and it also tastes good, 9/10) Speakers are provided so it's a really nice spot to chill with friends, play some card games maybe if that's your cup of tea. Downstairs the vibe was completely different. The music was ~interesting~ and the age range looked 18-35. As soon as I walked downstairs, i walked into a small anime convention, college students next to them, and an office happy hour across the room. The workers were very nice! Christina is lovely. I would recommend.

Yelp
Very disappointed in their drinks. Price is high for watered down drinks. I ordered gin with grapefruit, it tasted like a hawwaiian punch with too much water mixed in it , NO gin whatsoever, not sure what kind of grapefruit juice that was either? questionable.... I will never return, very expensive for the worst drinks ever, DONT HAVE A BAR IF YOU WANT TO WATER DOWN DRINKS OR DONT KNOW HOW TO MIX THEM! YOU SHOULD KNOW THE PROPER RATIO AND USE REAL JUICE AND REAL LIQUOR! SHOULD report them to be investigated actually I cannot help but believe they are ripping off their patrons and WATERING down liquor or not using at all. NO WAY! If they put gin in it, then they need bartending school as the ratio HAS GOT TO BE WRONG. There should at least be some hint there is gin in it. It was more like a sweet watered down cheap fake juice. I think i will report them as is I suspect they either water their liquor down or not using at all. NOT legal in either way. Chips and guacamole was delicious, but I will NOT pay my good hard money for fake watered down drinks, I can make my own chips and guac, Never again, 2 stars for the guac and the waitress was nice. That is it. Bartender should be fired or trained. They should be reported for fake drinks! and they have the nerve to overcharge on top of it! NOT recommended unless you have no idea of how a drink is made or what it should taste like. No No No ,and will tell everyone I know about it too., I do not like being exploited or taken like a fool for anyone!

Justin L.

Yelp
Food was average. 20% "service fee" (tip) was automatically added, party of 4. Our service was fine, and I don't mind giving it for a job well done, but automatically adding it is very underhanded.

Yelp
This group scheduled my reservation for a day that they weren't even open. Ridiculous.

Yelp
Love this rooftop it's hidden on broad can't see it from outside ! All their food come in large portions and very good ! Great atmosphere but forgetful bartenders gotta remind them of what you ordered from time to time ! Drinks are strong also !

Yelp
Just wanted to update my review saying that we still have yet to go to Juan's in person but recently ordered Body By D ribeye tacos and they were L E G I T. 3 tacos came with the order with HUGEEEE slices of ribeye! I'm obsessed with Juans!!!

Yelp
Honestly worst service ever they barely speak English which is fine bc it's a Spanish restaurant but then on top of that the food was slow and dry. The servers don't want to serve you drinks bc they have friends coming in that sit in the corner. I waited at the bar for 20 mins without service while he was speaking to his girlfriends. I asked for a mango margarita (what I was drinking all night ) he told me they didn't have it. The only good thing was the Dj don't recommend if you aren't a friend of the host
google avatar

Yelp
Food was not good...I got fish tacos which had sautéed tilapia iceberg lettuce and cheese. We ended up sharing his steak tacos and cheese dip which was pretty good. We also sat at the bar which seemed overwhelmed and didn't have much time to serve food.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant on a few occasions and enjoyed it every single time. My favorite tacos are the philly cheese steak tacos, which is a cool twist. It's hard to go wrong ordering from their vast menu. This is far from your "traditional Mexican restaurant" but man I promise they got what you're looking for. I only gave four stars out of five because the service has room for improvement. In comparison to my favorite restaurants in town the staff doesn't go above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied. I don't require too much attention when dining out, but exceptional customer service seperates good restaurants from great restaurants where you'd come back just for the experience. For an example, on an occasion my date and I ordered the Hennessy plantain desert with ice cream, where they cook it in front of you. The desert came out pretty decent, but since we were leaving fairly close to closing time, the "chef" rushed thru it and cooked it for about a min. Him rushing took away from the whole "experience" and it didn't taste nearly as good as it had the potential to be. Nonetheless I would recommend stopping by as the food is great and the drinks will get you there.

Yelp
My friend's group was looking for a rooftop bar for happy hour. This place is very cute, well decorated and the food was very good. We went on a Tuesday and we all loved the $2 margaritas and $2 tacos. Reason for the 3 star review is 1) it was extremely loud - they had karaoke and a DJ (both which were very entertaining; the DJs were great but we weren't expecting that level of noise); 2) it basically turned into a club at 7pm; 3) our waiter was very kind but the service was pretty slow, so what should have been about an hour visit turned into 2 hours at a very loud club-like atmosphere; 4) the location isn't the best so most of us had to pay about $7 for parking (some were able to find street parking) and I'd recommend walking with a friend due to random sketchy people on the street. So if you're looking for a club-like happy hour/dinner or maybe even a bachelorette party/birthday, this is your place to go.

Yelp
Sadly this place missed the bar on a few areas. I was so excited to try this place out. It took me awhile to get down here because I'm rarely in the city anymore but it was sort of a let down. I think they were short staffed, which I understand is an ongoing issue right now. Not their fault necessarily. My boyfriend ordered a drink and both of what he asked for (which were on the menu) they didn't have so he waited like 20 minutes for them to finally find a beer they actually did have to serve him. The food was not authentic Mexican. It was okay. Nothing special. No over the top flavors or anything. The "queso" chip dip is more like ranch and sour cream. Ordered a spicy marg and while it was pretty- it barely had any alcohol or spice and tasted more like lime juice. Our waiter... poor guy was sweating like a hog. Not sure if he has health issues or not which I feel for- but he was sweating ALL OVER everything. Like wiping sweat dripping from his face and then immediately proceeding to touch drinks and food plates to deliver to tables. Absolutely not sanitary. That alone made me not want to return. The floors were sticky. Idk the ambiance of the place is really nice but it's just not clean. Hoping we caught them on an off night but we won't be returning. Two Compadres over on Midlo is far more worth the trip if you're looking for good authentic Mexican food. This place ain't it.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick drink before dinner, we sat upstairs on the rooftop. Staff was super nice, drinks and appetizer were good. I can see this place being great for spring/ summer in downtown Richmond

Food was terrible then they add a 20 percent service fee. You may have to pay for parking which is 7.00 an hour. Bought a jumbo margarita that was awful for 16.00 and 3 fish tacos with no flavor all for 44.00 with tax and the 20 percent service fee included 10/10 would not recommend

Yelp
Nice location. Food is subpar!!!!!! This is my second visit. The first time I came for Taco Tuesday and tried the unlimited taco bar. I'm vegetarian so I tried the veggie tacos, they were underwhelming. Today I'm back and tried the veggie quesadillas. While they are flavorful, they only gave me half of the meal. The meal should include rice, lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes. The "sides" never came after asking repeatedly for them. I also ordered the Elote (street corn) and it was cold & disgusting (no flavor at all). Other guests warned me not to order it, but I did anyway. Should have listened. I won't be back. Between food & service, it's a NO for me. b

Yelp
Customer service: 5/5. Vibe: 5/5 Food:3/5. Ok so details, Juan's is a cute vibe, I will say I was expecting a bit more from the rooftop but it gave a nice outdoor dining experience. I'm sure y'all know I'm bad with names but our waiter was super nice and for the most part very attentive. I scanned the menu and I usually try something basic when I visit new spots. I decided on their HH white sangria (Summer something or other) $7 and it was just ok to me, could have been a tad sweeter. It was described as a white wine with juice when we asked but it tasted somewhat soda-y to me. I've had better, I enjoyed the cherries and frozen raspberries (odd combo but I like both fruit so it was cool to me). My sister ordered the guacamole which is made table side how you like and that was pretty good and super fresh. My only thought was I wished the jalapeño was diced fine like the onion and a tad more salt but it was good. For my entrée I opted for the deluxe burrito which was described as beef and bean and chicken topped with lettuce, sour cream and a tomato slice. It was served with aside of rice and refried beans. I asked was the chicken white meat (y'all already know ) and was advised it was grilled? The plate appeared fresh and food was warm. The rice and beans were average, nothing amazing as well as the burritos which to me lacked flavor and the juices from the meat and the salad on top made the burritos super soggy. The chicken wasn't grilled breast meat seemed more pulled chicken to me. The beef was better in my opinion, more seasoned than the chicken and a good grade of ground beef. My sister and cousin enjoyed their tacos which looked plentiful. Would I go back? Hummm maybe because everyone was so nice and provided amazing service. They are 7 weeks into their business so go check them out and chime in your thoughts!

Yelp
Decided to check this place out after seeing their soft serve margarita on Instagram. It did not disappoint! Their drinks are great. However, their food could use some improvements. We specifically went to try their sushi, but they were out of it at the time. We started with the guacamole instead, and considering how much we paid for it, we were disappointed. Even though its made-to-order, it seemed to have been missing something. Their food in general seemed to be missing the "it factor" -- maybe it could have been better seasoned or prepared longer. My date had the Seafood Nachos, which they gave a 10/10. I ordered the Enchiladas Del Mar, which was also very good, but I give it a 9/10. The enchilada itself was a little too doughy though, so it didn't hold up that well with the melted cheese on top. Overall, it was a good experience. The service was prompt and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yelp
A group of us decided to book the igloos at Juan's. We came expecting an experience but ended up getting a janky version of an experience. 1. It was about 50 degrees the night we went. When we turned the heater on, the power would cut off every 5-10 mins. They would have to manually turn it back on. I've attached a picture of us sitting in the dark. 2. There was a $50 booking fee that was not added to overall bill. Total $61 with some random fee. 3. We had a min of $150 to spend on food/drinks to utilize the igloo but we could only choose from a limited menu. I kid you not.....there were about 4-6 items on the menu that were not inclusive of peoples dietary restrictions. We were not allowed to pick from their extensive regular menu. We had to go downstairs and beg the manager to allow us to do so. 3. We requested the manager over 3 times , he never came up except to come 5 mins before the end of our reservation time to kick us out for the next party. 4. There was only one waitress upstairs managing 2 large parties. Our reservation was from 7-9. We didn't get out food until 8pm with some people finally ordering at 8. So when they came to kick us out, we were still eating. No accommodation for their mistakes at all. 5. The only thing good was the music and that was supplied by us since they had a Bluetooth you could connect to if you wanted to listen to music. 6 . Someone in our party asked for no bacon in their quesadilla due to not eating pork for spiritual reasons. They gave her bacon and she trusted it before eating. We never even got an apology. Overall , our experience was so disappointing. The manager didnt care one bit. It seemed as though they just bought some igloos off Amazon and decided to con people to come in off the potential of an experience. I would not go back and would not recommend. I really hate supporting businesses that don't care about their customers. An acknowledgement or apology would have gone a long way. Unbelievable.

Yelp
The tables were dirty and the food was baaaaaad. The guacamole tasted like something had gone off, and their birria egg rolls were more like deformed pizza rolls. There was very little flavor, and the meat was tough as a Muscle Beach bodybuilder.

Yelp
Our first time here and our last. We ordered frozen lime margaritas. When they came out the glasses clearly had strawberry residue on them. Sent them back and the female bartender on the rooftop, instead of making us new ones she dumped them into other glasses. If this in any inclination of how they treat drinks... I can only imagine how our food is handled. We will not be back!

Yelp
I don't like to leave negative reviews but last night was my first visit and it will be my last. This place is extremely overpriced and the food was average at best. My bill was over $40 and I got the plate with two tacos, rice and beans which was $16 (!!!) and the dip trio. The tacos were not even seasoned, it was bland ground beef. The fact that they are charging $22 for small bowls of guacamole, pico, and queso is wild. There are way too many other good Mexican options in the city. Also, the service was terrible. It was a Friday evening and our server informed us it was her first night on the floor. It showed. I understand there's a learning curve but I don't understand why management would throw a new server into the deep end on a busy Friday night. I would recommend skipping this place.

Yelp
Happy hour Margaritas, and my favorite... Brisket nachos! Rooftop diving is beautiful and peaceful. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, great place.

Yelp
Food was delicious but service was not. I've worked in the service industry for a long time, and I realize things can get messy and you can often forget items, but we were sat down, weren't given any menus, and asked if we were ready to order. We asked for menus which took about 5 to 7 minutes and placed a drink order for sodas, which we received at the end of our meal. server was missing in action for a long time so we asked a younger server to take our order, when he was taking our order, the original server came and got aggressive with the younger server, which flustered the younger server and caused him to ring in my order wrong. in the end, the server brought us the correct check, but then charged us for a more expensive meal. I had her take care of that, which took about 15 minutes and I was charged the correct amount. in the end I still had to pay an auto gratuity of 18% for a part of two when we received nothing but shitty service. music is obnoxious and loud, feel bad for the surrounding apartments. won't return back.

Yelp
Wish I took pics of all the food.... all of it was terribly made considered the price. The nachos were slightly shredded chicken + big lettuce and sour cream. Wayyyyy overpriced for bad food. Not to mention, the server stood by us while we added the tip. Save yourself the headache and don't go here....

Yelp
Upon arrival for our 5pm reservation, the doors were locked. A guy finally opened the doors and then sat back down. We stood there for 20 minutes waiting to be seated. We were finally seated in our reserved igloo and throughout the entire evening, the lights kept going off and the heat wouldn't stay on. The service was so bad. The waitress was very rude and took 45 minutes to take our order. She never offered refills, napkins, or utensils. When we asked for them, she sucked her teeth. Finally, when we asked to speak to a manager, she threw her phone. Afterwards, the manager wasn't apologetic and said he couldn't help the service. He ended up telling up telling us to get tf out. Never going here again.
