16 New Coffee Shops to Seek Out in Denver - Eater Denver

"Jubilee Roasting Co. is based on the ideas of emancipation, restoration, and celebration, or as they describe it, “a reset button for society.” The warehouse that houses the coffee shop also hosts ten artists’ studios, retail space, and a roasting facility. The airy warehouse’s remodel was partly funded by the city with an interest in community outreach — which they celebrate monthly at their Day of Jubilee, with live music, free drinks, and grilling." - Rebecca Treon, Josie Sexton

Excellent, good size, coffee shop. Nice atmosphere, comfortable tables. Good and friendly service, friendly staff. Very tasty coffee. We ordered Vanilla Latte with Almond milk.

Jubilee Roasting Co. is a delightful haven where you can unwind and truly enjoy your time! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, filled with soft lighting and comfortable seating that invites you to lounge for hours. The menu features a delectable range of food that perfectly complements their expertly crafted beverages. For tea enthusiasts, the selection of herbal teas is nothing short of exceptional, showcasing unique flavors that are both soothing and invigorating. Each visit feels like a cozy retreat, and I can’t thank Jubilee enough for creating such a welcoming environment that makes me feel right at home!

Google
Nice little coffee shop and great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a Mukua Kenyon pour over that was a really light roast but quite tasty. I also sampled their Yonier Mosquera Columbian drip coffee and it was even better. My next trip to Denver, Colorado, I'll stop in again.

Google
Definitely the best matcha in Denver Metro area. If you are working at the hospital, go here for a drink. The owner is super chill and a really genuine guy. He put this lavender syrup in my matcha that was... oh la la. Perfect. This bright green matcha made me find love in a hopeless place.

Google
I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s easy to see why it’s a local favorite. The coffee is always dialed in and delicious, and the space is one of the cutest cafés in Denver—quiet, calm, and a perfect escape in the middle of the day. The baristas are warm, welcoming, and have a certain softness that makes every visit feel personal. This place has been a bright spot in my routine, and I hope to keep coming here for as long as I live in the area.

Google
Give Noah a raise! We stopped in on our way through town and he was so hospitable/ nice to us, and other customers. 10/10 service. Coffee was also very good. We loved the espresso tonic they have on the menu right now, the drip coffee and lemon poppyseed muffin. We will definitely be back!

Google
I made a quick visit on Friday afternoon, and it was a little disappointing that the beans I wanted to buy were out of stock! I go to many cafes these days, and this place felt colorful and lively! The interior feels like using many colors, too! The people in the cafe are also chatting ! It was a little uncomfortable that I had to park on the side of the street because there was no separate parking lot!

Liska Luna

Google
Jubilee excels in both customer service and product quality. I stopped in for the first time today and met Noah, who is just a fantastic human. The coffee and food were great. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito and salsa, both were fresh and flavorful. Good experience all around.

Yelp
Such a great neighborhood coffee shop! Every first Friday of the month they have free drinks. They also have a quaint courtyard for when the weather is nice.

Yelp
What an awesome find! I grew up in Aurora and it's great to see places like Jubilee Roasting making the neighborhood so much better! Parking on Kenton Street where Jubilee tough to find. The entire block was full o' cars. I block over or a street down you'll find plenty of parking but the neibhborhood is a little sketchy so be mindful of where you park. Colfax might be a better choice. I parked on Colfax but nobody else did, so I hope it was OK. I didn't get a ticket and I didn't see any parking restrictions. I't s busy street though. OK. Sorry about the parking thing. I live in LA so parking is always something I keep in mind because parking is such a hassle there. Anyway, Jubilee is awesome! There's tons of seating, so you can likely easily meet someone there without having to worry if you'll find seating. The place has a great vibe and the staff adds a lot to the super cool vibe. The prices are reasonable and it's a great place to hang out. My friend had a vanilla latte' Great presentation. She loved it. I had the house herbal iced tea. Forgot what it was called, but it was terrific!! If you're looking for a place to have coffee besides one of the big chains, Jubilee Roasting is the way to go!!

Yelp
First off, this place is super cute and inviting! The barista was soo friendly and helpful. She let me sample their nitro brew when deciding on a bag of beans to buy. The nitro was amazing (I've had nitro in the past and didn't think I liked nitro). The beans came with a free espresso shot which was a pleasant surprise-- and also soo delicious! One of the best espressos! I'm still thinking about how good it was! The iced latte was also delicious of course. And I got a lemon poppy seed loaf that was amazing. We used the beans to make a cold brew and it came out great. Will definitely be returning!!

Yelp
Popped in to waste some time. Very VERY good chai latte. The art on the wall was cute and this place is a great little cafe. The cups and plates I wish I could take home with me. The scone we got was also soooo delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Well despite my past experience I came back, warmly greeted! Ask about seasonal flavorings. My sister raves about the soda and espresso drink but it's fall and 43 degree out so I had to try the seasonal Trees Knees" house made syrup, wrapped me in a honey cinnamon hug. Jubilee is always open when you need a neighborhood coffee spot. Reasonably priced and cute little pastry selection although nothing is labeled so I never get anything. Seats are all wooden so not super comfy on your butt but great place for a convo and catching up with friends over coffee.

Yelp
I usually planned my meetings at 7 am at different coffee shops around Denver and Aurora. This place showed an amazing vibe. It contained a roasters' space and an artist's studio. We received counter service and it was good. My companion ordered spicy latte while I selected Matcha Latte - perfect beverages to start the day. Parking is tight - I watched another truck squeezed between my car and another car, ready to jump out of the store if he tapped my EV. I wonder how anybody finds parking because it abut to Colfax and is surrounding by houses with lots of cars parked on the sidewalk.
google avatar

Yelp
We used to visit Jubilee a lot. And I mean a lot! It was one of the few non-chain coffee shops around. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative reviews that some Yelpers have left, regarding the baristas. I'm a little disappointed that we came here for so long without being appreciated as customers.
google avatar

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Jubilee is the best! The drinks are always amazing, the baristas are all very sweet, and they typically have a good selection of fresh pastries. It's also a great place to get work done; even when it's busy there's a pretty chill atmosphere. Honestly I would come here every day if I could. Sometimes parking can be tricky but there are additional spots down the side of the alley which helps.

Yelp
This little hidden gem off e colfax and kenton is so quant and relaxing with its wide framed doors open into the front or sitting in the back is a treat as well. The moonbuggy was my favorite . Free wifi and great community that cares.
google avatar

Yelp
An inviting, open space with botanicals and quirky artwork strewn throughout the brightly lit shop. SO much seating and remote work friendly with power outlets here and there. There is a private WiFi network, but the password was not readily visible anywhere therefore I opted for Hot Spot instead. Coffee products are tasty with a particular emphasis on their freshly brewed drips and pour overs on deck. I had a Cortado which was served with a side of sparkling water to cut through the acidity. There's was a of high acidity and quite invigorating. Loved it! They are a community focused business and their pale brick building seems to blend in some with its surroundings which are potentially sketch at best. Colfax Ave near I-225 is actively gentrifying but the residential area where this coffee shop is located is transitional only to an extent. Parking is street-side, some spots of which are in front, but the Discount Tires operations seem to spill into these spaces on any given morning, I'm sure. I parked on the street over (on 14th) deep into the residentials and I had a little eerie feeling in my gut on the walk over to the coffee shop. Never the less, I enjoyed my stay within its confines and ran back to my car (in random pouring rain) without incident.

Yelp
Great coffee, great vibe, great meeting spot, and overall great community gathering space for Aurora. Coffee is roasted to perfection and is of excellent quality! Only issue I have is the price for drip is a tad high and makes this a special treat instead of a regular thing. Would love to visit more often!
google avatar

Yelp
Terrific vibe, yet quiet enough to have a conversation, and they make a great coffee! Street parking, very conveniently located. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We've enjoyed Jubilee Coffee many times and we're always so happy! Great coffee, baristas, ambience!

Yelp
Jubilee is an awesome place for your coffee/tea fix. The interior design of this place is its own vibe with a good amount of seating. They also have a bench for outside seating when the weather is nicer. Staff are super friendly and craft your beverage to perfection. The only qualm I have about this place is that the parking situation can be tricky and the street its on is mostly residential.
google avatar

Hannah F.

Yelp
What a cute little coffee shop! The last time I visited was right after the Aurora location opened but I was able to stop by last weekend and everything was just as good as I remembered. Jubilee was originally recommended to me by some local firefighter friends of mine who work down the street and were raving about this place when it first opened. I really enjoyed their nitro cold brew with oat milk and honey cinnamon syrup which was absolutely delicious. Great coffee and just the right amount of milk and flavor. My aunt said it was the best iced decaf vanilla latte she's ever had. The decor and all the natural light is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I hope to be back soon to try some of the different drinks and food options. Street parking is pretty easy. The Aurora location isn't in the greatest neighborhood but we didn't have any issues during our visit.

Yelp
Went to pick up a surprise bag from too good to go and was greeted by the nice staff. They asked me what I wanted, which was a bonus so I tried the chorizo breakfast burrito and a chocolate croissant, they were both delicious

Yelp
Let's go on and give Jubilee Roasting Co. the 5 star..... Shall I explain? Stopped in to Jubilee after landing in Denver as it was fairly close to the airport (IMO), and I needed GOOD coffee! Well, turns out Jubilee has GOOD coffee. What's better than their coffee though, is the employees they've got serving up that deliciousness! I was fortunate enough to have Madeline (I swear I hope I got this right) as my barista, and she was delightful! I had a colleague along for the coffee exploration and Madeline was able to guide the colleague in the right direction based on their likes. Either way, you can tell the vibe is legit in JRC and I recommend you stop by. The only thing I love more than a fantastic cup of coffee is the delightful conversations that accompany it. Jubilee Roasting Co. nailed both. Thank you!

Yelp
What an incredible place to get coffee. The staff were so patient with my questions and were kind enough to bring my drink and food to the table. It's nice and quiet for a working spot and has a good amount of seating both inside and outside. The chai was fantastic and the ham and cheese croissant was so flaky! Definitely a top spot for a Denver area coffee shop.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
I'm not really a coffee-drinker. The only times you'll really find me at a coffee shop is when I happen to be on the go and need a place to work which happened to be the case today. When I searched for coffee shops in the area, there were a ton of large chain ones and Jubilee. I decided to try this place out and was really glad I did! Everything I got here tasted great with the coffee being strong and the sweets being not too sweet. The interior here is also really nice and calming with plenty of plants, natural light, and beautiful furniture. Since I came here to work, internet reliability/speed was also something factored into my review. See below and the picture attached for the results from the speed test. Come check this place out if you're in the neighborhood! Internet speeds: Download - 45.59mbps Upload - 22.57mbps

Yelp
Great atmosphere and good customer service. They offer a decent selection of drinks and some food items. We had the iced americano and malabar tea. Unsure what blend we tried but the coffee is bitter with little flavor. The malabar was a strong and good turmeric ginger tea blend.
google avatar

Sang T.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, nice staffs, nice coffee. My go-to place for work-from-coffee store.
google avatar

Kenneth L.

Yelp
Solid cafe with great design and coffee. I love the airy concept of the cafe and how they have their roasters in the back. They have an extensive coffee menu, as well as pastries from a local bakery and sell coffee gear/beans. Parking is fairly easy but I would just warn customers to be aware of your surroundings. The surrounding area is sketchy. I would not walk around the area. This cafe doesnt have much around it fyi.
google avatar

Janelle J.

Yelp
Cute cafe that has an industrial feel with natural touches around. They have two garage style window doors on the side wall that bring in plenty of natural light. Lots of coffee options. I got here late morning so most of the pastries were gone but I got a lemon poppy loaf piece, along with a latte. Both were good! The staff is very friendly as well. Very chill atmosphere ~ good for working or socializing.

Yelp
This spot quickly became a new favorite coffee shop + remote work spot for me! It's super spacious and has a great vibe, complete with natural light, quirky art pieces, and botanical touches. The barista was very friendly and had great recommendations, and you can see some employees roasting coffee in the back room! The coffee itself is incredible - I tried the honey cinnamon latte with oat milk, and the espresso was was rich and tasty and perfectly balanced by the light sweetness of the honey. If you're hungry, the bacon egg and cheese burrito is a winner! This spot has all the table space, outlet availability, and private WiFi you need for a remote work day.

S R.

Yelp
Such friendly staff, amazingly yummy coffee, and a cozy shop atmosphere. I went to pick up some coffee beans for my new home espresso machine and the customer service was great. The people who helped me were very knowledgeable. I will be back!

Anna L.

Yelp
Super cute, comfy coffee shop. First time here and I absolutely love the vibe. Great service and very friends people. I would totally come back.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for cute coffee shops and this did not disappoint at all! I'm a visitor and was recommended this place by my local friends. What a beautiful building! Lots of sunlight and greenery, tables inside for work, and patio furniture outside for pleasure! I was able to catch up on work here for a few hours and enjoyed the great views and jamming to their music (they were playing 2000s rnb)! I tried their South of France item that was part of their seasonal drinks. It is a lavender latte and it was very delicious! Great foam on top and great flavor while also not being outrageously sweet!! Definitely a super cute spot to try out and buy beans from!

Yelp
// Summary Wonderful coffee, great people, and a vibe that'll make you want to call this shop home. // Experience Came here to meet up with a friend, as it was convenient for the both of us, and a shop I have yet to visit up til now. I ordered one of their pourovers, and it was excellent. Excellent roast along with a solid brew makes for a happy me. // Service The barista was nice and friendly, and brought out things relatively quickly. // Ambiance I love their vibe. It has a mixture of modern along with that brickyard-style look to it on the far wall from the entrance. They have a couple of small tables throughout the shop, and I didn't really get to see too well beyond that - maybe a community table and a couple of bar seats. // Convenience It's on Colfax, and there's some street parking nearby and maybe a parking lot? I couldn't tell if the parking lot was for Jubilee. I'm not a huge fan of the location overall, as it does feel a bit sketch - but it is what it is. Wasn't able to scout out the power situation or connect to their Wifi to get a reading on that. Next time!

Yelp
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and food location. I'm so grateful for this coffee shop!
google avatar

Geoff P.

Yelp
This place is the epitome of "the vibe". They've always got the best aesthetic inside despite what downtown Denver often looks like. Friendly people, delicious coffee, and a sick environment. Get your booty over to Jubilee.
google avatar

Abbey L.

Yelp
Great coffee, fast service! Good location to hospital. Highly recommend to go here for your coffee needs!
google avatar

Anna B.

Yelp
This is a great little cafe off Colfax on my commute! Great coffee, and they have good little local pastries for sale. If I hadn't been on the run, I would have stayed for a cup- the atmosphere is cozy & relaxing! Staff are super friendly as well! Would recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars. Super cute, hipster spot! Do we still call coffeeshops hipster? Anyways, I was meeting a friend who lives in Aurora, and this Jubilee location was halfway between us. I ordered a latte at the counter, and we had a seat nearby. Cute décor. Chill vibes. Would definitely return to get work done or meet up with someone. Street parking is easy. For sure come check it out. Totally worth your while!
google avatar

Sherrin M.

Yelp
A cute coffee shop with delish coffee! Great lighting and seating to set up shop and do some work or just hang. Vanilla latte was so good - flavorful syrup. 12 oz with vanilla - $5.00 Plain latte also delicious - 16oz $5.00 Great spot! Will be back!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! I love the vibe and the decor. So many great plants! The coffee (and chai latte in my case) were great! The staff was so kind and helpful! Lots of seating options, only about half of the seating is pictured in my photos! Parking was a bit tough, we parked on the street nearby after a few U-turns. They closed at 3pm on Saturday, so keep that in mind because we didn't notice when we got there. Overall I recommend and will definitely be back to study there again!

Yelp
I can't tell you how many times I've been here since my initial review. The interesting part is that I probably went through a span of 6 months or more where I didn't make it here for one reason or another. In that time, I was hopping around Denver trying different coffee shops. When I came back, it was even more eye-opening and apparent at how much I love this coffee. For one, I think their iced latte is among the very best in the Denver area. Further, I had their Kenya drip coffee last week, one that I normally not a big fan of, but since I focus so much on Indonesian coffees made me want to expand out a little bit and give this another try. Wow... what a good roast! A much different profile but one I really appreciated. When I was in Hawaii, many restaurants encouraged people to drink the Kona black. This was over 10 years ago but they made their point. No cream or sugar should be added to an amazing coffee. This is how I feel when I drink this coffee... just pure goodness!
google avatar

Sasha T.

Yelp
So worth the drive to Aurora! Jubilee is a beautiful, warm, inviting, and cozy space. I've been parked here for a few hours working and I plan on staying here through the afternoon. By the windows, there are blankets to sit on, and the rest of the tables have fairly comfortable metal chairs. There's even a raised table in the back that functions like a standing desk. They specialize in bright coffees. I got a bottomless cup, which I've refilled 3x now (hence my excited Yelp review...?). They have soy, almond, and oat milk. The oat milk rocks. The staff is very friendly, the tables all have little plants on them, and the music is nice background working music a la my working Pandora playlists (currently on: Lemon Jelly).
google avatar

Aqil P.

Yelp
Quality: 8/10; Ambience/Vibe: 10/10; Staff: 9/10 This is yet another hidden coffee roaster I was glad I stumbled upon! Not in Denver but in Aurora, but certainly worth the trip if you haven't been. The store aims to combine coffee with music, so you'll notice some very cool art around the store. It also has open air seating with an incredible vibe to either hangout or work, so I'd definitely be coming here if I lived in the area. The coffee was also gorgeous - I got a pour over here and tried their Ethiopian, which was beautiful. If I wasn't flying with overpacked suitcases I would've bought beans, so looking forward to returning one day!

Yelp
Jubilee Roasting delivers all the vibes! Tons of natural light streaming in to a super trendy rustic-chic space? ++ Check!! There's great seating along larger roll-up doors, little air plants on the tables, natural wood table tops, and a poured concrete bar top. So cozy! A super tasty vanilla latte? ++ Check!! I prefer mine iced lately. They have 3 different sizes, a variety of milk options, and various syrups. So good!! Light bites such as breads/loafs, croissants, or scones? ++ Check!! Granted I had already eaten, but there were a variety of tasty looking breads and treats available. Yum! A fantastic playlist to enjoy while you work? ++ Check!! Perfectly balanced. Nothing that would impose on anyone's taste. Sadly I forgot the songs, but I totally dug it!! Friendly baristas serving it all up? ++ Check!! He promptly helped me with my order and answered several questions the group after me had about the chai being served. Awesome! Given that I always seem to be looking for a new place to catch up on my studies (or on my Yelp life) I know I will be making my way back to Jubilee Roasting in the future!
google avatar

Mary P.

Yelp
A very hip coffee shop with artists built right in. They have outdoor seating and a backyard to match. They host yoga and coffee in the summer. And the moonbuggy cold brew is good. True to Denver fashion they also have rotating kombucha flavors. If that sounds right up your alley then, well, you've probably lived in this altitude just the right amount of time. In all honesty though this is a cool place to be.
google avatar

Pim Y.

Yelp
Had the seasonal drink (rarely do I ever crave anything sweet). It was well balanced so no complaints. Would like to try a drip next time. The interior is quite cute and cozy, if not a little small! Since it's not in a super poppin' area it wasn't crowded or noisy, which I like. Good space to read a book or get some work done. Service was very chill. It felt like one of those slow days where the employees would rather chat with each other and their regulars, which is fine with me. Perhaps I am not the most approachable customer, myself. Plenty of street parking (felt a little sketch) but my car was fine.
google avatar

Camille P.

Yelp
Jubilee was delicious! I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was creamy, smooth and very delicious. We also ordered a bacon, egg breakfast burrito which was also lovely! Highly recommend for a quiet spot to write, read or study. So great for a visitor like me. Thank you!!
google avatar

Bar M.

Yelp
One of the best and genuine coffee place I've had for a long time. This is their second location but I can honestly say it's definitely a stop for your cravings. None of that burnt coffee taste or trying to mask it with sugar or cream. The decor is definitely something you can vibe with. My girlfriend is obsessed with it that I got several pictures to add to this review. And the workers there are so welcoming and accommodating.
google avatar

Adeel F.

Yelp
This place was wonderful! It's so nice inside and the lattes we got were awesome! Would highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Jubilee roasting is all I could ever ask for in a coffee shop; cozy, friendly, full of art and community. It's become my new favorite. It was so pleasant to see smiling and friendly faces when I walked in, even the customers were welcoming. Jubilee is a good place to get work done, catch up with friends, while sipping your favorite classic espresso drink or coffee. They offer pastries too! I especially enjoyed the atmosphere and philosophy of Jubilee, what a delight to have this café in the neighborhood.

Jared S.

Yelp
Good coffee. Definitely worth trying. Their lattes are great! I've had a couple pastries here and they hit the spot as well.
google avatar

Jodi M.

Yelp
I was at Jubilee's Five Point location yesterday and had to bring my husband to this one today. The atmosphere is my favorite of any local coffee shop I've been to. There's some kind of artist co-op in the rear - makes me want to go fling some pottery. So I had a chocolate pop-tart and it was so good it's gone - no pic. My iced mocha - also disappeared quickly. I like a little espresso with my chocolate milk - and this was perfect. My husband got an Americano - today's roast was a little fruity. I can't wait to come back when the garage doors and the back patio are open!
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
What a cool local coffee spot. Fun seasonal recipes (try the Tree's Knees), delicious standards, laid back vibe good for hanging out or doing work, and all that for very reasonable prices. Friendly staff who adhere to COVID rules. I'll be back soon
google avatar

Taylor H.

Yelp
5 star service, 5 star atmosphere, 0 star coffee. The vibes are fantastic and the baristas are very kind. But the coffee was extremely bitter. I had to add a ton of sugar just to drink it. I prefer a smooth espresso for lattes without adding sugar and was very disappointed by these beans.
