If pie is your thing, you have to try Judy Pie! They were rated #5 pie shop in the whole nation and it’s no wonder why! Besides being the cutest little shop, with lovely staff, these pies are delicious!!! We brought home Mafia Memphis and the Cherry Merlot and so far the best pies I’ve had in my 2 years living in the US. We will definitely be coming back to try other pie flavors and the cakes as well. The red velvet looked amazing!!! Highly recommended!!

JudyPie is hands-down one of the finest pie shops I’ve ever stepped into. The pies are phenomenal. The pecan pie steals the show - rich, nutty, with a perfect toasty crunch that sidesteps the overly sweet, syrupy pitfall. The apple pie is just as stellar, boasting firm chunks and a tart-sweet balance that hits all the right notes. The cherry pie, though, didn’t quite win me over. The crust on every pie is a dream - flaky, crisp, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. My friends couldn’t stop raving about the Creme Brûlée and Memphis Mafia pies, and the peach pie gets plenty of buzz too. It’s not a budget spot, but their cheeky sign sums it up: “Good pies aren’t cheap, cheap pies aren’t good.” Ha! A 6-inch pie runs about $17, ideal for sharing. They offer samples, and the staff is super friendly, warm, and welcoming. The vibe is a charming, nostalgic retreat, with quirky signs and eclectic knick-knacks. They also serve cookies, coffee, dog treats, and have cozy indoor/outdoor seating. Bottom line: If pie’s your thing, sprint to JudyPie. You’ll leave smiling.

Google
Delicious. The pies here have such a delightfully flaky, crispy crust. Probably the best pecan pie I’ve had: extra toasted nuts in a barely-set syrup filling that did not feel gloopy at all. The apple pie’s filled with firm apple chunks that did not feel too sweet at all due to the balancing tartness. I do wish the crumb topping were more clumpy, but that’s just personal preference as the pie’s perfectly executed.

Google
This place is like a little piece of heaven a trip down memory lane and a nostalgic mini getaway all rolled up in one. And the sweets are addictive. You have got to try their peach pies. The crust is unbelievably delicious. The filling was so incredibly delicious and the crust...well let's just say it gave the filling a run for it's money 😊 I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I definitely recommend this place to "everyone " and give it two enthusiastic thumbs up 👍 👍

Google
This is the cutest little dessert shop, with the nicest workers who clearly love being there. We absolutely loved the Banana Pudding Pie, Chocolate Cake, Lemon cookie, Coconut Cream Pie, and Chocolate Chunk cookie. They have limited seating inside, but package it nicely for you to-go, so no worries there.

Google
Let's start with I am a bakery snob. I did not order cookies as I am usually disappointed by those. I did order a raspberry lemon hand pie. My friend ordered cheese cake. I also got a sample of the key lime pie and chocolate pie. The chocolate pie was great. It had this creamy deep dark chocolate taste. The key lime pie was okay. The coconut in the pie kind of surprised me and it wasn't my taste. Back to the hand pie. It was amazing. Here is the deal if it says raspberry lemon you need to be able to taste raspberry and lemon. This little pie was perfect. The crust was flaky with the right amount of sugar on top. The filling was definitely raspberry. The lemon came in the after bite. If I'm ever in town again I will be back here for another one.

I bought a German Chocolate Pie for my wofes birthday. She was blown away as well as our guest. Thank you for helping me make her day special with your great cake. We will be back for more great pies and cakes.

Google
This place claims to have the best pies in Texas, and they truly deliver on that promise! These are some of the best pies we’ve ever had in the U.S. The freshness of the ingredients really shines through, and every pie is packed with flavor. The chicken pot pie is a standout, probably the best we’ve ever had, but the pecan pie, chocolate pecan pie, and peach pie are just as amazing. Each bite was pure perfection! The 6-inch pies are priced at $17, which we found to be fair considering the quality. If you’re a pie lover, Judy Pie is an absolute must-try!

Yelp
Judy Pie was on my list of places to try while in the DFW area, for their great selection of highly recommended pies. There were so many freshly baked pies and treats that I wanted to try, but I only have one stomach and a few days in the area. I decided on the peach hand pie, because I love hand pies and peaches. I was very impressed, as it was quite perfect through and through. The crust was great tasting and I am very particular on crusts of any kind. I am certain that the pecan and streusel crumble on top, with a drizzle of icing was a fantastic addition to the crust's texture and flavor. Judy Pie also offered samples and I was impressed with the sampling of their Cherry Merlot pie, it was so delicious! I do enjoy wine and pie, and their version of mingling both together was magnificent. I would have loved to order a full pie and bring it back to Vegas with me. I know for sure that I will be coming back to Judy Pie when I revisit the DFW area, it is so very good!

Yelp
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at JudyPie. I came to JudyPie for their sugar-free (keto) pies. The menu shows three keto pies: pecan, pumpkin, and dark chocolate silk. The pumpkin keto pie was unavailable and they haven't had it for a while; probably seasonal but that isn't mentioned anywhere. I ordered both the chocolate silk and the pecan keto pies. The chocolate pie was terrible with a texture of sand. The pecan pie was also bad, and cloyingly sweet from the sweeteners. JudyPie advertises fresh pies, but the keto pies were not fresh, they were frozen, so that's false advertising. There was no note anywhere that some of their pies are not fresh. Something else I noticed is that the air-conditioning at Judy's appeared to be either broken or turned off. All the fans were on inside the restaurant and the air inside was moist and warm. It was a warm day out. Because it was so warm inside the restaurant, we decided to get our pies to go and eat them in the car. Unfortunately, JudyPie was out of plastic forks, so we had to wait to eat our pies until we got home. I really wanted to enjoy this cute bakery, but I couldn't. It's better to just not sell sugar-free pies than to sell something inedible.

Yelp
I previously wrote a review for this shop in December. The owner followed up, in March and did not seem to be a fan of my review. I replied to her after writing my review and sent her an email explaining what happened. I truly don't know why I wasted my breath. She replied only to try and prove I was wrong; versus listening to my experience. NOW, I THINK I ultimately figured out through our email exchanges what happened. Judy ultimately forwarded information to her team, but I wasn't copied on it. In doing so, I was not in the know; ergo the confusion that led to my previous review. If I had to guess, the owner has not pieced this together, because instead of figuring out what happened she spent her time replying to me with snippy email responses: "I'm not sure what else I can do here", "why are you blaming me", and my PERSONAL favorite "I'm sorry for whatever you think we did to prevent you from getting a free pie". Judy is rude, condescending, and clearly has proven multiple times at this point she is awful at communication. I understand a review about your business may sting if it is not favorable, but my goodness. She replied snarky to not only my previous review, but to multiple Yelp reviews who do not scream her praises. I have been a Yelper for many a year, and I have written many a review--but this is by far the worst and most bizarre response, and experience I've ever had. I encourage you as strongly as I can to not come here; save your money and the headache. The lack of professionalism from this owner, has been shocking and unnecessary. I honestly debated on posting the emails she sent me; but I'll refrain. She's demonstrated enough on her own her character.

Yelp
Oh Boy, Just what I did NOT need, another place to get sweets! I have seen this place over the years but had not gone in and I was sure glad I did. Upon entering I was greeted to the fresh bakery smell of cookies baking and that helped set the stage for a great experience. I was warmly greeted by the ladies behind the counter and when I told them I would need a few minutes as it was my first visit, they welcomed me and also offered samples of the pies they bake right here in-house. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and just when I thought I was going to have a hard time selecting a pie or slice to bring home with me, I tasted the Buttermilk Pie and immediately fell in love. Yes, it was THAT good. Without a doubt, the best Buttermilk pie I have ever had.

Catherine C.

Yelp
JudyPie is a wonderful establishment in downtown Grapevine with the sweetest employees and the most delectable pies that are absolutely worth the price. The seating is a bit of a squeeze, but it's a cozy atmosphere and it is dog friendly! It was a cold weekend and they offered a free cup of hot chocolate with a purchase, so how can anyone say no to that? They had samples of strawberry rhubarb, apple, and pecan pie available so of course we had to try all of them. The pecan pie is delightful, and very heartwarming with the Texas pie crust with a little heart cut out in the DFW location. We settled on a slice of key lime pie and pecan pie. I cannot rave enough about how amazing the key lime pie tasted - it was without a doubt the best I've had in my entire life. The flavor was unapologetically tart and perfectly balanced with sweetness, and the crust also not overly sweet, all paired with a few tasty dollops of whipped cream on top. The consistency of the pie was just right, and all in all perfectly captured the ultimate essence of what a key lime pie should be. The pecan pie was also so lovely and rich and something I would definitely return to have again. There are other cookies and pastries available, including gluten free options. Tldr; JudyPie is a must go if you are a pie lover. If you are reading this, put away your phone, get in your car, and go get yourself a little slice of heaven.

Tee J.

Yelp
I had a sweet tooth, so I went by JudyPie's. I got the mini Pecan Pie. They're a little pricey but it's to be expected considering the location. With that being said, it was delish.

Cathy Ralph E.

Yelp
THE cutest shop ever! We had a peach hand pie and an apple hand pie - absolutely delicious! We also ordered a cherry pie for later! Friendly and comfy. Loved it!

Erin P.

Yelp
Hands down the cutest store front and delicious pies in Grapevine! We will definitely be back for more!! Dont forget to ask for ice cream to go with it!!

Holly T.

Yelp
We rode the train from ft worth to grapevine to have lunch and visit. We wanted dessert after lunch so we stopped in. My husband the apple turnover and said it was really good. I got the chocolate chunk cookie. It was cute inside and I wish i had seen the cheesecake sooner - i will definitely try it next time.

B T.

Yelp
YUM! It is nearly impossible to choose what to get. The pies are obviously the stars of the show, but then you see the cakes and the cookies and other pastries, and they even have ice cream! Also, I really appreciate that they offer a wide variety of gluten free products, even though I don't personally require them- I find it to be really considerate of them, and to me it shows that they care, because I'm sure Judy Pie doesn't do it for extra business. The staff is fantastic, and they will answer any questions you have. I've only been here twice, once during the holiday season and once in the past week, and I saw consistent quality, and I just know that it's there all the time. You can tell that this is someone's bakery that they put their heart into, and that (as well as how delicious it all is) is what makes it so successful. Judy Pie is a gem in Grapevine, and if you're in the area, you should stop by. There is something for everyone!

Garrett B.

Yelp
Go early or the pickins will be slim! The pies are worth every penny and we will continue to stop in every single time we're on Main Street!

Sharon H.

Yelp
Cute place for dessert with lots of cream and fruit pie options. Everyone loved their choices of strawberry rhubarb, banana pudding and raspberry rose. I thought the chocolate cream pie tasted more like vanilla pudding, not bad just not what I was looking for.

Nancy T.

Yelp
This place was so cute and the owner was very friendly as well. Tried the raspberry rose cake, skillet cookie, chocolate chunk, cinnamon roll, and sticky buns. They were all amazing and still fresh a day after. My faves were skillet cookie which was soooo good, cinnamon rolls and that sticky buns mmm. Sadly, I live in Ga, I would go here everyday if I can. I'm thinking about the skillet cookie now haha.

Benjina D.

Yelp
JudyPie! I've been a loyal customer for years - so much so, that on my birthday instead of a birthday cake, I have JudyPie's amazing strawberry rhubarb pie. Sadly, this will be the last year for me going all the way from Frisco to Grapevine for my pie fix. I ordered 4 large pies for thanksgiving, and the pies have gotten very expensive. They had a thanksgiving special, but because I ordered my pies on the weekend before thanksgiving, and not the week of (Monday-Thursday), they wouldn't extend the special to me. The pies are great, but the price and travel to get them is too hard to swallow. Especially with the many great dessert and pie places nearby.

Kristin S.

Yelp
Amazing pies!!! The chocolate tort is to die for. The key lime pie is really good too. The prices are high but that's because the ingredients are very high quality!

Kirby L.

Yelp
Sorry, it's just way too pricey and expensive...pretty much like everything thing else on Mainstreet Grapevine. Eight dollars, for a slice of cherry pie......no thanks.

Ashley L.

Yelp
This is one of the suggested must stop by places in Grapevine for pie, and I can see why. They have a LOT of different pie options! You can have a slice, a small pie for a small group, or a whole pie for a large gathering. I believe availability varies, so if you're looking for something particular, I suggest calling ahead. The gluten free chocolate silk pie was delicious!! It was decadent, but the crust was a bit dry.. it is a gluten free pie, after all. It is still a great option either way! I highly recommend coming by if you have a sweet tooth.

Brenda K.

Yelp
My husband absolutely loves key lime pie! It's his all-time favorite dessert. When we were walking around this town, we came across the shop, walked in and saw they had key lime pie. We went to dinner and ate very lightly in anticipation of him having this dessert. It did NOT disappoint!! He gave it a perfect 10 and said he will not eat key lime pie for another year because the memory of this one needs to linger in his brain!! The chocolate dessert was heavenly! The woman behind the counter also was such a delight. I hope the owner knows what a gem she has in this lady!!!

N G.

Yelp
I got the cherry pie. The filling was too sweet and too gummy probably too much corn starch was added. The dough was Ok a dash of salt in the pie dough would have helped. Overall not great. I won't go back.

Joel B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a pie, this is the place to come to. I tried their small rhubarb/strawberry pie and OMG it was the best pie I have ever had. The crust was perfect and the filling was to die for. I wound up coming back and getting a fried blueberry pie and full size cherry pie. I cannot say enough good things.

Alex A.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with any of the pies here! My fave is Cherry Merlot! But the cookies and fold overs are divine too! Strawberry Rhubarb is another yummy yummy filler! Judy is such a blessing to the community, her staff is so kind and professional! A win-win when pie is made and served with love!

Chantal T.

Yelp
We ordered a slice of their winterberry GF pie. We were told it comes frozen and is actually from another bakery. They asked if we wanted it heated up since it's frozen. When we received it it was still cold and was actually called summer berry. We paid $8 for the smallest saddest piece of pie. Absolutely NOT worth the price tag. We are so disappointed.

Barbara S.

Yelp
It was my husband's Birthday and I wanted to change it up a bit and not do a cake. So after hearing rave reviews for all of Judy Pies i choose the apple and the chocolate cream. There are not words to accurately describe the intense delicious flavor. The crusts are buttery yet flaky. The apple pie was like fall on a plate. Amazing! The chocolate was my favorite. Just a hint of cinnamon and a little Mexican chocolate. I will always skip the cake on Birthdays and gift a Judy Pie!

Joyce E.

Yelp
Omg the apple crumble was so delicious. It wasn't too sweet, it was just perfect. This place has so many pie options! Will definitely be back for more.

Juan V.

Yelp
First time in Historic Main Street on Grapevine. Stopped by Judy's Pie, and left feeling like we visited grandmas. Every pie is made from scratch and the beautiful ladies are beyond attentive and informative. So many options including a dozen gluten free options. Love this place!

S T.

Yelp
Saturday 06/18/2022 While on our journey via TexRail for #Juneteenth2022 festivities we got off in Grapevine. Sweating through the #TexasHeat and streets exploring Main St. little shops. My pallet has never had an ongoing affair with cakes and pies. *Lol* But short and sweet visiting Judy Pie was a nice treat. The friendly staff, the samples and they give service discounts. Such a gem of a place y'all.

John T.

Yelp
Great pie ! Fun atmosphere Tough to park at. Needs to sell milk!! Will be back for some cherry pie!

Christine G.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this little shop! It was by surprise that we found it and I would highly recommend it! The service was amazing and they staff are so friendly not to mention how delicious the pie and chocolate cake are! Definitely a great spot to stop by for dessert if you are in the area.

Yvette S.

Yelp
My husband and ai wanted something sweet and we're so happy to see a place open after 10pm. We walked in and had a variety of pies to choose from. I had a cherry pie and my husband had a pecan pie and loved every bite. We will be returning for more pie.

Lizzy

Yelp
I'm allergic to gluten and corn and this was the first time I found a place I could actually eat and the Key Lime Cheesecake was AMAZING! I got a slice of that and a cinnamon sweet bun and both were so good, the sweet ladies working there answered all of my questions and were very kind. The gluten friendly menu includes vegan, paleo, dairy free soy free, options and it's a very large menu. Normally places give one or two options and Judy Pie had pages! Highly recommended this place for sweets :)

David S.

Yelp
After our wine tasting, we were on our way out of Grapevine, driving down beautiful Main St. and came across this pie place the wife wanted to try. So we stopped there to see their offerings and so I picked out a cherry slice and a chocolate chip cookie which is good and for the cherry pie slice, it is very good. I like to put my chocolate chip cookies in the microwave for about 15 seconds to warm up that cookie and melt the chocolate chips. The wife got a coconut creme slice, which she said was ok, not bad, but ok. It's a cool little shop, but unfortunately due to covid, you can't really walk in the building pretty much because they have table blocking access. It's a shame too, because this little shop is very quaint.

Tabitha M.

Yelp
Frozen slice of keto pie ... the price point was a little much, overall 4/10. It was a sweet treat on vacation but not worth the cost.

Todd T.

Yelp
I will say the pies are tasty but very very expensive. Pictured you will see the size of a slice of pie you get for 8 dollars. It looks like a quarter of the pie is missing. I can't say I'd go back again after receiving this one but I have always enjoyed the taste of their pies.

Jessica H.

Yelp
The buttermilk pie was a NO for me! More like an egg nog pie...heavy on the egg! Yuck. And my daughter said the gingerbread cookie tasted like ashes, in which my son agreed. I feel like they scammed me. The high prices indicated to me it was going to be worth it. WRONG!

Christy E.

Yelp
If I could leave 1 star, I would. This place has the most despicable customer service I have ever witnessed in my life, particularly a counter person by the name of Brandy who thinks it is appropriate to follow a paying customer out the door and yell "I hope you have the day you deserve" and then proceed to scream at you when you stop and ask for the hours that a manager will be present so you can discuss how her employee treats customers. Mind you, all of this was simply because I asked if they could replace two slices of pie with the correct pie that was ordered since Brandy got the order incorrect. To which they promptly stated no refunds and would not do so even though they gave us the wrong pie. I am a regular customer in the community who spends $50 plus a month in this establishment and I can day with certainty that I will never go back again. I expect more from a local community business that to be treated like trash when they do wrong.

Christy O.

Yelp
I've lived in Grapevine for a long time and frequent Main Street when I can and have never been to Judy Pie until today. We had lunch and ice cream and were stuffed to the gills but decided to walk in anyway. The customer service was great and we left with a 7" coconut cream pie. We ate it before bed and it was delicious. I want to try the chicken pot pie and the strawberry rhubarb pie. I'm from Vermont where rhubarb is grown in the front yard and the stalks are pulled from the ground and eaten right there. I had a bit of nostalgia overcome me. The store is quaint and everything looks wonderful. There's a table with paper or little notebooks with a sign that said while you wait you can write a note to someone in a mental health facility (or something to that affect). I didn't really take time to check that out but reflecting later on I found it quite unique and caring.

Dana L.

Yelp
WAY overpriced..OVERPRICED..I'll say this again..OVERPRICED. when will these people get it for?!!?!?!? LOWER YOUR PRICES ...THE PIES ARE NOT THAT GREAT. Quaint pie shop serving many different flavors...inside is cute but it's honestly too snooty

Sarah W.

Yelp
OVERPRICED - $17 for two slices of pie. The banana pudding pie went in the trash. The banana's were black and the texture of canned mushrooms. Cute place, but no reason to return.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Fantastic pie! Just had the cherry merlot. Perfect. Not as much fanfare as Emporium Pies but staff and shop are lovely! I'll definitely be ordering for the holiday! -Michelle

Shirley A.

Yelp
Excellent pies, I got the chocolate cream and coconut cream 6' size $17 each and we'll worth every penny!!! They are made from scratch and are the real deal! I would love to see mini pies too in the future! I live 150 miles away but I would drive up there for pies!!!!

Alena B.

Yelp
Walked into this cute shop while at the Grapevine Main Street Festival this weekend. Totally love the friendly people working here! It had tons of great desserts to try. We tried the chocolate chip cookies, which were soft and rich in flavor. I spied some chocolate-dipped cherries in the display case. I knew there was something special about them, lol. They had been soaked in Patron for almost 2 weeks and dipped in chocolate! Two, please. They were smooth and didn't have any bite from the alcohol. The "pierista" was super fun and made jokes with us about the cherries. Too many things to choose from, but they have a cherry merlot pie that I was eyeing before we left. l'll definitely be back for more tasty treats!

Alyson D.

Yelp
Stopped here to pick up desserts for a dinner party at my sisters home. Bought two pies-apple and a mud pie. Neither were too impressive-Apple pie had a sugary base-bland crust and was no more than average. The mud pie-which we were told was made with bourbon "but it cooks off" had a strong bourbon flavor-again nothing spectacular. For what we paid for two whole pies-I expected better.

Sherry E.

Yelp
First of all the owner was there and sat and we had a wonderful visit. What an amazing lady who loves her command her passion is to help people. My husband after paying was leaving over a $12 tip and she said, "the tips go to help the with metal health issues" what a wonderful lady. Oh the pie is wonderful:) I had a gluten free keto pecan pie!!!!

Debe N.

Yelp
I have been a long time customer since they opened. Today I went in and purchased a lemon blueberry cookie and apologized first and said I want to select a specific cookie and I also ordered a piece of chocolate pie. She just rolled her eyes at me. I then said I was sorry but I wanted that one cookie. My coworker tried to tell her I picked it because it appeared softer. She then proceeds to look at me and stated all our cookies are soft, blah blah. Shocked at her arrogance and rudeness in front of her customers ! She get no stars from me. I think she was the owner

Lisa B.

Yelp
45.00 for a apple pie no price was posted - I'm from CA and never paid that from home grown pies . Friendly staff but no apple pie is worth that. Feel ripped off . The sale pitch was this is not a Walmart pie . FU and your pie. Full rip off and the winery's are better bet at the grapevine. Don't waste your money .

Catherine B.

Yelp
Banana and key lime pies are amazing Definitely a must when visiting Grapevine. I highly recommend

Darlene K.

Yelp
We thought we'd get a jump on Pi day. So we went the Friday before. First time customer, will definitely go back when I'm in the Grapevine area. They had a couple of samples to try- blueberry ginger and coconut cream pie. Both were divine, but I knew I was there for the blueberry before I even got out of the car. The blueberry ginger pie did not disappoint! Filled the container completely. The crust has a wonderful flavor and flaky but not crumbly texture. And the filling has lots of berries and isn't too sweet. There was a steady stream of people coming in at 8pm and they still had plenty of available options. They're open until 10 pm on Friday and Saturday! My daughter got the cinnamon bun and the chocolate cream cake. Both delicious! We are looking forward to the pie shake next time we go - they said it takes a loooong time to make and you definitely want a friend with to help experience it but it's worth it!

Emily A.

Yelp
ORDERED ALL OF OUR THANKSGIVING PIES HERE!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Judy is the best!! Called and ordered a couple of pies, customer service is FABULOUS! They had a missed call from me and called back immediately. Prompt helpful and willing to discuss the menu with you over the phone!!

Daniel C.

Yelp
This pie was simply unbelievable! Staff was very sweet when I came in and they greeted me with a huge smile. Helped me pick out the perfect pie. I got the Memphis mafia and it was extremely delicious. Really nice set up of the pies on display!

Christy G.

Yelp
We stopped in while walking through Grapevine Main St. We were happy to see that this bakery had safety procedures in place during the Covid pandemic. They had a table at the front and a staff member taking orders to go. We ordered a chocolate pie slice. It was delicious and clearly made fresh with high quality chocolate. They also had cookies available. The price was $7 per slice or $40 per pie. The prices aren't that much higher than other specialty bakeries with similar high quality standards in DFW. The only reason I'm rating 3 stars is because the owner's attitude towards other customers is very condescending and rude. Her responses to other reviewers says lot about the business.
