We got the mango soju cocktail and spicy pot stew (which I realized was budaejjigae in Korean on the menu!), and I'm glad we did! It wasn't super busy when we were here, and the servers were friendly and checked on us a few times, which was enough for us!
A few notes though:
1. They did appear to raise prices (which shouldn't be a huge shock!), so I added the menu pics.
2. Expect dim lighting, louder music, and a little dive-iness!
3. The soju cocktails are 58 oz for $21.99, so it shouldn't be shocking that they're not super strong...
Ok, so the mango soju cocktail was huge, tasted decent (definitely can't taste the alcohol, and that could either be good or bad, depending on how much you drink and how much soju goes in this).
As for the "spicy pot stew," which is their budaejjigae, it was better than we expected! The stew had bacon, spam, kimchi, sausage, cabbage, green onion, onion, tofu, and a few slices of carrot. Note that the ramen (which you do usually find in budaejjigae) isn't already included. Definitely ask if they can add it, if you're a noodle-lover like me! It's an extra $3, but worth it. Otherwise, get some rice for an extra $2. Budaejjigae hits the spot when you're having a drink, especially if it's soju! My partner loved the broth, and we would come back to drink and have budaejjigae without going all the way to Ktown.
