Small little hidden gem. Great selection and plenty of options from smoothies to fruit bowls to acai. Very reasonable pricing given the location. Ordered the protein milkshake and added papaya. DELICIOUS! You get to even customize everything. Everything looks real fresh and the owner/staff was super friendly. Great rest stop from shopping!

Decent Acai Bowl place, though I've had better. It has average prices for Midtown. It's a small location, but it's not very crowded (went at 1pm and had a short wait). If you use MealPal, they made your order ahead of time, so it is ready when you arrive. The employees had dirty shirts, the place felt really cramped up and I didn't feel the acai was fresh. They brought premade acai on a bowl and added the toppings. Also, the granola felt like it had to much sugar. Woudn't recommend.

Good acai bowl and protein shake (though it could have used more ice) but the owner seems to be allergic to people. All the other reviews are dead on. Those that don't complain about the service ordered delivery.

Honestly the açaí bowls are amazing. What shocked me was when I ordered through phone they had THE NERVE to ask me if I was going to tip in order for them to complete the order. Mind you I was going to tip already.. the nerve bro. I went there in person and the customer service sucks.

Edit: I originally rated this place 5 stars because they have amazing açaí bowls and I hadn’t had an issue with them being rude… until this morning when the lady working there was very rude to me. Great bowls but bad service. It’s unfortunate because this place could so easily be a 5 star spot.

After passing this little juice shop many times, I finally decided to stop in for a smoothie. I find it interesting how they have a very large mirror and overhead lights along with the glass counters so you can clearly see how they make your drink. Even though it is small, it has many different kinds of protein bars, powders, juice, smoothie, and shake options! It's large array of healthy drinks made it overwhelming to choose, so I just opted for a strawberry, banana smoothie with Isopure protein. The smoothie was pretty good! I really enjoyed the creamy consistency and the lovely light pink color. :) The only downside is that the staff member was unenthusiastic about helping me decide and seemed annoyed at how long It took me to do so. I would have appreciated some guidance and input on selecting a drink that I'd like. She also seemed inconvenienced at making my drink. Additionally, it was a bit expensive. While I enjoyed my drink, I wish I could have chosen a more creative option with the help of the staff. I think Juice Island would benefit from boosting their morale in some way, because they have a lot to offer!

I got an açaí bowl and the strawberries tasted way too tart -- didn't really taste fresh. There was too much granola and I thought the açaí itself was too watered down or liquidy, wasn't my favorite açaí bowl. The worker wasn't very friendly when he handed me my pickup order either.

I love this little hole in the wall! My favorite is the Muscle smoothie, no almond, add strawberry and granola. Always great and for a great price compared to other nearby juice places! The service is okay because they're always slammed with online orders but they always manage to get everything done in a timely manner. My favorite stop near the bus or train!

I love this spot. Best juice and smoothies. The guy will make it just the way you want. My go to when I'm feeling a little under the weather or having crazy sinus pressure. When you walk in it smells so so good! They also carry a ton is snacks Nothing is really over $9

Ordered online for takeaway and I watched them freshly made everything! Delicious and fruity smell, heathy and colorful looking, while feeling like a substantial bowl! Would definitely want to come back to try other things as well!

I was surprised how it tasted. It is the most (in my liking) delicious I have tried in the neighborhood. They will serve you the perfect amount and balance of what's ordered. I love it! A must try!

I would have given this place a ZERO star if Yelp allowed me! It was the worst customer experience I've ever had! The lady behind the counter was straight-up rude as she is allergic to people. She attacked every word I said and every action I took. The acai bowl was not fresh - pre-made base with frozen fruits. I strongly suggest going to the nearby Juice Press instead. I honestly don't understand why this place has such a high rating on Yelp. It's not worth your money and time!!

***Small store, Preordered smoothie through Ritual App, Nothing special*** I ordered from this place as it was on my way to my final destination. The Ritual app was offering a smoothie for $1 through this place so I figured why not. The smoothie itself is nothing special and the guy preparing the smoothie was a bit rude. I wouldn't come back here just based on distance and the smoothie wouldn't have been worth full price.

Love this place! All of their fruits and vegetables are super fresh and juiced to order - I've been here a few times and the berry blast is my favorite. I wish they would stock a few other types of protein powders with milder flavors- every time I get protein added to my smoothie the taste of vanilla or chocolate over powers the taste of the fruits/vegetables. As an added bonus they do have a punch card/ loyalty program which is great if you live in the area and frequent the location often.

I just entered to a "juice bar" store and asked the lady if I can get just oleum orange juice and she rudely says NO! GREAT STORE

Finally found a juice place that is on my way to work and is open before normal work hours which was a great start! This location is right by the 4, 5 and 6 trains. Literally like 200 feet away. The place itself is very small but seemed clean and organized. I placed an order through yelp, the original acaí bowl. With the granola on the side (just bc i cant stand soggy granola). When I placed the order i was about 20 mins away and the app said it needed 50 to 60 mins and I started to worry but when I walked in my order was ready to go. And I must say it was exactly what I was looking for. Fresh & vibrant. Will absolutely be back!

Was craving a fruit smoothie and was recommended this by a friend. I'm not sure if there is always just one person there, or if it was just like this because it was a Sunday. It was also extremely hot inside. I feel like it made the fruit not as cold in my smoothie. Even with ice added, it was still close to room temperature. Regardless of the temperature, the smoothie itself was good. I got the strawberry blueberry smoothie with soy milk. There are a variety of options for protein shakes, energy drinks, cleanses and food. With the location right off the subway, I feel like it is a quick stop in for a mid day pick me up or afternoon snack.

You'll take açaí of relief when you walk into this hole-in-the-wall juice shop! I happened upon this place after a run and decided to check it out -- boy was I in for a treat! The fruits and vegetables are incredibly fresh here, presented behind the glass bar so you know exactly what kind of healthy goodness you're getting. They have protein shakes with several types of powders, various juice remedies, açaí bowls (YES), açaí smoothies, yogurt parfait, and even vegetable soup! The lady here was incredibly friendly, letting me know about their delivery option as well. Love the loyalty program too -- I'll definitely be back!

Good quality for the price. I got the tropical acai bowl for pick up and it was ready on time and delicious with a huge portion. Only getting 4 stars because I ordered the same bowl a few times and got extremely stale coconut and granola on my third try but I am hoping that was just a fluke. However the first two times were great (maybe because I got it in the morning). Would recommend for the acai bowls.

Good Acai bowls, had 2 mango acai bowls delivered to my hotel room, came before my estimated delivery time on a Wednesday morning. A bit steep in price but I guess that's the going rate plus delivery. Toppings were tasty - banana, mango, granola and coconut. Would get again!

I love their "Muscle" smoothie and wheatgrass shots. I usually order delivery and it's extremely fast, great quality, and packaged very well -- no spills! Love this place and recommend it for anyone looking for great quality juices & smoothies with a fantastic staff who cares about their customers and quality of their products.

Had a Acai Bowl for the first time and a shoot of ginger. WOW that ginger shot! Totally gave me a boost I wasn't expecting! I had to chase it with biting down on a piece of orange the employee gave me. All in all this tiny island of a shop is packed with natural and great things for your body and mind. They have tons of option to choose from their menu. I'm really surprise it has 2 reviews. I was expecting about 100 + because it's right across from Bloomingdales and next to Dylan's candy shop and other fancy restaurants and chain restaurants. No more junk for lunch. I'm good with the Acai bowl!! kept me full for hours.

Smooth açaí bowl mix. Wasn't icy or slushy. Fruits were decently sweet. Some places give you too few toppings, but Juice Island gives you a good balance. Pretty tasty and refreshing, would definitely get again.

I love coming here. The place is clean, fast, and full of the perfect healthy goods. They serve all types of juices and and healthy snack to go. Multiple variation of healthy protein bars as well. I'm waiting go them to get there ginko-biloba ginseng shot once again. Grab a business card,once you have stamped 10xs. You'll receive a free drink!

I got "The Muscle" which was amazing. It is a bit pricey but for the quality of the drink and how fresh it was it was really good! Would come back again.

Found this place while walking around and didn't regret it. Got a custom juice with celery, cucumber, apple, and pineapple. Made right in front of me and all of the fruit looked clean and fresh. It was great. Will definitely return again.

the papaya smoothie is OUT of this world... I would give it 4 stars only because its pricey for the size BUT Its just too good that I have to give it a full 5/5

They have the best açaí bowls! Along w fabulous customer service. My office orders all the time and they will call you make sure our online order is correct before making it. They also are very attentive to our allergies concerns for some of our co workers!

I had just finished a workout nearby and was dying to get a smoothie. I was on my way to juice generation when I happened upon this spot. I thought: reviews look good. Cute little shop. Well, big mistake. I wanted something really icy and ordered one of the slushees blended with ice. First of all, the guy working got my order wrong even though I read off the exact menu item (not sure why they don't name them). I called him out on it but he wasn't apologetic at all or willing to adjust, so I just took it. As I was leaving and taking my first sip, I realize there was barely any ice blended in. My smoothie was WARM. I had to walk all the way back to ask for more ice. Im happy to support more mom and pop shops but if the quality isn't there I'd rather go with juice generation. The price point is also similar. I don't recommend juice island.

I love this little place! Their açaí bowls are the best and their costumer service is amazing! By now the staff knows what I like to order. I don't even have to tell them, and it's perfect and delicious every time. The staff is also nice and warm. I appreciate their goodhearted attitude during this crazy time.

Occasionally I get the acai bowls (berry!) here. They are always so fresh and satisfying. The first bite in, I'm always surprised by how deliciously cool it feels in my mouth. I am seriously obsessed. It is exactly what I needed on a summer day.

Omg the veggie soup was AMAZING. I became a regular after trying their soup. They make your drink right in front of you and the fruit and veggies are pretty fresh. My strawberry and banana drink was the bomb. Clearly, I'd highly recommend.

as this is listed as a diabetic restaurant I am shocked that all the food is high carbohydrate and its a juce bar. good place wrong listing. :-(

Delicious smoothies, veggie soup, and juice. My personal favorite is the apple and pear drink. The soup is great on a cold day. They also have wheatgrass shots and acai bowls. All things healthy you can find are in this store.
