I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! Have you ever craved something that’s not just good, but good for you? This is the place. Juicy Greens is one of those rare spots where you feel like your body and your taste buds are getting everything they need. Every bite feels nourishing, fresh, and made with care. The flavors are vibrant, the ingredients are clean, and you can taste the intention behind the food. As someone who cares deeply about health, balance, and joy in food this place hits all the marks. The Golden Glow Smoothie is great! #foodmadewithlove

Google
Brunch after exploring Arnold Arboretum and opted for patio setting to accomodate fur company. Ordered arepas and totally enjoyed though a bit messy variety of veggie fillings from criollo arepa to rancho arepas...indoor seating nicely appointed. A bit of an issue with the sensor activated faucet and paper towel dispenser - moderately insensitive! But restroom clean and spacious.

Bill E.

Google
Great lunch break, 5 minute walk from Arnold Arboretum main gate. Vegetarian, Vegan menu. Friendly helpful staff. Pleasant indoor, & outdoor seating with umbrellas. 3 of us had the Arepa Criollo, Power Caesar Salad, & Breakfast Burrito. Fresh, delicious, and filling.

Google
Vegan and gluten-free options. The Cesar salad was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful with dietary restrictions. Food came out quickly and was delicious. There’s room to sit and eat inside and outside.

This restaurant is a health enthusiast's dream come true! Their dishes are both incredibly healthy and deliciously flavorful. The staff's friendliness and knowledge about the diverse, vegan-friendly menu add to the welcoming atmosphere. Although the portion sizes are on the smaller side, it suits those who prefer lighter meals. For anyone seeking tasty, nutritious food with great service, this is the perfect spot. Despite the smaller servings, the quality and taste more than make up for it. Highly recommended for a satisfying, health-focused dining experience!

I’ve been going to Juicy Greens for a few years and now that I am working in Jamaica Plain I go frequently and get a bunch of goodies for the work week. I LOVE their juices, I feel healthy and refreshed and having them on hand gives me a quick energy boost between clients. I LOVE absolutely everything I’ve tried, everything is fresh and yummy 🤤 THANK YOU JUICY GREENS!!

Google
Ordered as delivery. Ordered Pura Vida Bowl and Zen Bowl. They were okay. Healthy assortment of different ingredients but personally they tasted the same (kinda bland). The color of the sauce was different but they also seemed similar. Definitely a healthy + good vegetarian place but felt that the price was a little on the pricey end because I didn't feel as full. Packaging was good (tightly sealed, clean and sturdy paper containers) and they prepared the bowls fast, so gave 5/5 for service. Didn't rate the Atmosphere as I got it as a delivery.

Google
The guys here all seem very nice and the food is good, but they kept me waiting at least 10 minutes after my to-go order was done because one guy didn’t tell the other, and they mixed up some things on the order. Don’t go if you need something quick.

Yelp
I ordered the Power JP and it was delicious! I love the aesthetic of the cafe and could see myself ordering breakfast and a coffee while getting some work done

Yelp
Ordered the spicy tofu Buddha bowl. Sauce was THICCCCCC. Very delicious, great portion size with fresh ingredients. Appreciate the variety of options - all vegan friendly. Mind booster smoothie was tasty but a little liquidy. Wish it was thicker just like the peanut Buddha sauce. Staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! The service is always great. Staff is courteous and friendly. Always service with a smile! My favorite dish is the Arepa Criolla but today I tried the Reina Arepa! Yum yum ! If you like mushrooms, you will love it. Parking is easy and they accept all forms of payments. The app is great to use for fastest service.

Yelp
It's the kind of place I want to love. I've been many times and has the smoothies, juices, arepas, and power warm bowls. The service is cranky/miserable seeming. No smiles. No thank you. They look overworked and unhappy which isn't a great restaurant vibe. Food tastes good usually- but a couple times they have forgotten ingredients. Ex. Pura Vida bowl with no plantains (and no heads up that they were out) or the chocolate peanut butter smoothie but they forgot the cocoa powder so it was yellow (but they told me it was made correctly) So could be awesome but isn't... yet. I keep trying. Here now and I've waited over 10 mins for a smoothie (no one else here except for one other person waiting for something)

Yelp
The ambiance is SO CUTE! i can sit there forever the service is meh. But the food is fresh and amazing i always get avocado toasts and never failed me!!

Yelp
Got two arepas, carrot muffins recently. The arepas tasty a bit rubbery. Hard to cut with a knife. Carrot muffins pretty good. Dry though. Better to make them yourself. The smoothies might be the best thing they sell. Going to try next time. The breakfast cookie is better than the muffin in my opinion.

Yelp
Food is awesome and the service is always great! I enjoy eating there as well the ambiance is a great place to have either breakfast or dinner. 5 stars! Phanor and Monica who works there is beyond nice and their service is amazing! The reason I keep coming back!

Yelp
Stopped by here for a smoothie and ended up being enticed by their grain bowls! I got a Pura Vida bowl and could not be more impressed! The bowl had SO much food that I took the other half for lunch tomorrow. 12 dollars isn't bad for 2 meals and extremely quality ingredients! The bowl had avocado, quinoa, spinach, corn, black beans and a host of other yummy things. But what made this amazing was the sauce on top! SO delicious, and I would come back just for this dish. Not only amazing food, but the cashier was very upfront with me and told me they were out of plantains. She asked if I wanted to substitute anything, but I wasn't really sure so I just said no. She went ahead and added extra avocado for me, and apologized again. SO grateful for the courtesy

Yelp
I came here in late September 2021 for a smoothie. I got the Rosa Dolce Smoothie and it was just okay. Keep in mind, this was my first smoothie from Boston and I'm from LA so I expected it to be a lot thicker and sweeter than it was. I'm not sure if all Boston smoothies are supposed to be this texture but the consistency and flavor was a bit flat to me. Because it wasn't what I hear expected, I was disappointed with it. But maybe smoothies are made like this in Boston because it's healthier? To top it off, the price of the smoothie was $9.58, which was a bit high for a somewhat disappointing experience. The flavors of the fruits were all there, it just didn't have that wow-factor. They are, however, open for indoor dining and have an outdoor patio. The indoor seating areas have outlets for you to charge your electronics. The restrooms were for customers only. Not sure how the parking situation was since I took public transportation here. It didn't look like there were that much parking though.

Yelp
When in Jamaica Plains, Boston, do yourself a favor and had down/up to Juicygreens. All your senses will thank me. You're welcome. From color, to texture, to taste and smell - you'll be hit with some fantastical fresh creations prepared while you wait. The wait may be a while, so go ahead and call in advance - their pick up fridge and shelf will have your name on your baggy. Lots of GF options, fresh fruit galore, arepas, coffee, fresh juices and smoothies. If you feel like cleansing for a day, or three, they'll have your back. Seriously my favorite place in JP for breakfast, lunch or snack. A great fruit bowl or plate of waffles will set you back around $10.50. Yum!!

Fumi K.

Yelp
The service was amazing and the food was SO good! The vibe and the lighting of the location amazing and I will definitely come again! I enjoyed the avocado toast and the Asai bowl and they were both so delicious.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The fruit and ingredients are all very fresh, which isn't true for all açaí places! The açaí bowl is the perfect healthy breakfast option if you're thinking about getting something light for breakfast! The açaí itself has great consistency and isn't too sweet, which I prefer! Juicy greens is the perfect place to visit if you're ever in the Jamaica plains area! It's great for smoothies and a meal too if you're hungry!

Yelp
Delicious smoothies and heathy meals. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. I stopped a few times while visiting town, great spot!

Yelp
This is Juicygreen's discusting avocado toast. I will never order from this place again.

Yelp
I love this place. Service is great, food is great, lots of vegan options and a great place ro sit and get some work done.

Yelp
I was looking for a new place to get smoothies. I googled and found this place. I've been here twice so far! I'm going to try something different each time. I got the pura vida bowl this time! It was really good as you can probably tell from my photos. I didn't take a picture of my drink but I finished that too. I had the fresh detox. Definitely will be back

Franchesca D.

Yelp
Went here on my break wanted a smoothie. My first first time here, the inside and outside are set up really cute! Ordered a tropical sun smoothie and to my surprise it was pretty yummy! Will come back to try some avacado toast
google avatar

Yelp
awful customer service pre order does not work food you can make at home if you have the ingredients awful.

Yelp
Really excited about this spot! Stopped in after a long run when I was on my way to Fiores and totally stoked to come back and try more. This was a soft opening so some of the selections were limited but I grabbed an Acai bowl, matcha latte, fudge and good morning cookie. I love the bright interior, great lighting, convenient location and great menu selection. Totally friendly folks who were happy to customize for me (almond sensitivity so we subbed in coconut milk on the acai). I tried the matcha with coconut milk as well but will do oat milk in the future. Totally worth checking out if you're a fresh smoothie/power bowl foodie!

Kathleen L.

Yelp
Food is great!!! Have never dined in, we always do take out. It's on a nice corner in JP usually plenty of street parking

Adam S.

Yelp
Monica and phanor are the best !! Juicy Greens is everyone's go too. Absolutely delicious foods, homemade, healthy. Nothing like being treated with kindness and respect, every time you walk in the door. This is a real review.

Yelp
Happy to have found this quaint cafe in the Jamaica Plane area of Boston. Lots of healthy options for breakfast. I had the avocado toast and it was very yummy.

Yelp
We are so impressed by this place. Loved the ambiance invites you to stay and enjoy your smoothie. Welcoming and friendly service. The chia pudding was really good, I was so surprised by it and the Nutty Love smoothie was to die for. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
I was enticed by the beautiful outdoor seating on the patio (which did not disappoint... great place to sit and people watch, enjoy the sun, etc.). I tried the matcha latte, which in retrospect was probably a mistake given that it's a juice place. I was asked what kind of milk I wanted and requested oat milk, not realizing that this would raise the price up to $6.69, on top of which I gave a roughly 18% tip. I could have lived with the price if not for what I saw next, which was the worker grabbing a pitcher of pre-made matcha (with the matcha settled disgustingly on the bottom). Not sure how he re-mixed or reheated it (I couldn't bear to watch), but certainly not what I expected for $7. I should have canceled the order and been on my way, but I guess I was too shocked to say something. So, definitely try this place... but don't order the matcha latte unless you're really desperate!
google avatar

Yelp
So glad to finally try out this place. Loved the Cuban Burrito. It was a flavorful combination of rice, beans, and plantains that made you forget it was a veggie burrito. We also had a great acai bowl that hits the spot on a hot day. Come support this great local women owned business in JP.
google avatar

Shugabee G.

Yelp
My first time at this establishment! I was surprisingly disappointed at the level of customer service I received from one of the employees. I have lived in JP for over 20yrs now and I'm sad to say they're still some people who are in the position to deliver superb customer service but sadly have a racial profile mentality. I had hoped to save some money on my first order by ordering online only to be scolded that I didn't do it correctly and while I was inquiring how it works, I received a nonchalantly dismissive response. Honestly, not sure how I feel about coming back to give them my business.
google avatar

Tosha R.

Yelp
I really love that a place like this exists so close to me but it's a hit or miss when I go. On this last visit, I ordered the well rooted bowl. It wasn't good. I normally like the ingredients in it but thinking it was the way it was prepared or the sauce or something. I have ordered the Buddha bowl though and thought it was really good. The service isn't the best when it's busy, but when it's slow, not bad.
google avatar

Jocelyn K.

Yelp
Delicious matcha lattes & the food is always amazing! Plus the service is great & quick.

Jovana A.

Yelp
Delicious food! The breakfast arepa exceeded all expectations. So much flavor packed and still feels like I'm eating clean.

Yelp
Came across this cafe after a long day in the sun, while having some major smoothie cravings. JuicyGreens is a plant based juice bar and cafe offering a wife menu of smoothies, salad bowls, sandwiches, coffee etc. My friends and I all got the Tropical sun smoothie (pineapple, mango, banana, coconut milk) and we were very happy with it! The cafe also sells some herbal self care items like face masks, essential oils and tea inside. They have a very cute seating area inside with a nice activity corner for kids. There is a seating area outside as well. Will definitely come back soon for their sandwiches.
google avatar

Kristie H.

Yelp
Review is only for the smoothie and avocado toast. Avocado toast tasted like guacamole mush on toast. The green detox smoothie was fine, but not great. I know they are new so I want to cut them some slack, but the tables were filled with cups that customers were done with. They were very slow.
google avatar

Rico W.

Yelp
This place is so great. My girlfriend brought me for a visit from Colorado and she kept raving about this place. We came here almost every morning and she would get the açaí bowl with peanut butter, I'm not one for sweet stuff, but when I tasted it I was blown away, it was amazing. I got the Cuban burrito and I gotta say it was one of the best burritos I've ever had and this is coming from someone raised on Mexican food. The plantains, beans, rice, and ropa vieja combo were too good. The staff was super friendly and there was a guy working there who would always come out and make conversation with us, especially when he saw us come in for our 3rd time in 3 days. I wish I got his name. All in all you should definitely hit this place up if you're in the area, hell even if you aren't you should still support.
google avatar

Marina W.

Yelp
Updating: I have been here many, many times since my first review and I have come back to report that the Golden Milk Glow is still my favorite smoothie, and the arepas (the criolla arepa, specifically) are my absolute #1 go-to on the menu.

Eric F.

Yelp
Feeling inclined to leave this review because I would have rather passed on the opportunity to be a guest here. I got the Cuban Mojito smoothie, which sounded yummy on the menu but was actually the worst smoothie I've ever had before. It was not even slightly cold and tasted like bad savory soup... not even sure how that was accomplished. My friend got the açaí-base smoothie and it was also room temp and tasted bad, not sweet or refreshing in the slightest. If warm gross smoothies are your thing then consider coming here, otherwise save yourself the pain of tossing a full $10 smoothie.

Valerie C.

Yelp
My wrap was delicious and delivered really quickly! It's so awesome to find a place that makes vegetarian food with such variety of flavors and fresh ingredients. Can't wait to try the other options on the menu!
google avatar

Holly N.

Yelp
Wow, I just found this place via Instagram and I absolutely love it. It's beautifully designed, well-lit, and cheery- it looks like it belongs in SoHo. I think we're lacking in organic eats like this in the area so I was really excited to try. I ordered a custom salad bowl with kale greens, roasted sweet potatoes, beets, celery, and pepitas. Typically when I order a salad from anywhere around here I'm prepared to add my own ingredients when I get home because they just don't pack them with enough fuel for a meal but WOW, it was so properly loaded with carbs, protein, and delicious veggies. I'm hoping they add a few more options for additional protein in the future. The customer service was kind and my salad was prepared very quickly. I was excited to hear they will also have Kombucha on tap by the end of this week. Highly recommend! I cannot wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
I hesitated to write this review and rate a location only 1 star, but I have experienced poor service at this store too many times. Today was another example of how unprepared the staff is to handle multiple orders. I waited over 20 minutes for an oatmeal bowl which never was made. In spite of 4 people working, they failed to make my order and two women who had ordered before me. The times I have eaten here were unremarkable. The food is bland and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a hip and trendy health bar. The service has been consistently bad, the food is mediocre, and the pricing reflects the new craze around this kind of shop. J.P. has far better options for quality and service which I would recommend you patron rather than JUICYGREENS. Carrot Flower is similar, more efficient, and better quality and is a short 3 block walk down Centre St.
google avatar

Yelp
A very meh joint. Always disappointing but at least it exists? The only thing I was genuinely happy about was the avocado toast -- reasonably priced, and it was like they used an entire avocado! So generous with all the toppings, which were interesting both texture-wise and flavor-wise. And beautiful! That was definitely a full meal and a good experience. The chai waffles were a 4/5 too (a little underdone but otherwise awesome). Otherwise, everything else has been really bland. They don't seem to use salt on any of the savory items, or sauces? I was so excited for the arepas but they were so....meh....and served on top of a greens + cherry tomato salad that made me think of "the only vegan option" at weddings and events (i.e., a really sad side dish). My friends have tried the grain bowls, smoothies, and chocolate desserts, and they're always disappointed. Like, it's all edible and nothing tastes BAD, but it just kind of tastes like what you'd make at home when you're uninspired and in a hurry. The people there are hit-or-miss -- some of them are impatient and in customers-are-so-annoying mode, but more often, they're cheery and personable. Overall -- I do prefer carrot flower because the food is just more delicious, but same prices and same health-value.

Yelp
Customer service initially wasn't great, but the owners went above and beyond to make everything right there. Genuinely above and beyond. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. I literally go here on Monday's to replace my meat addiction and it's amazing. My gf loves it too. I think I just needed to understand that no one is ever on their A game all the time. I love this place and recommend highly to anyone out there. They are good honest caring people. Check out this gem!
google avatar

Gitta S.

Yelp
Perfect nutritious and satisfying lunch! The Pura Vida bowl hits all the right spots and is perfectly balanced. I love the sweet, caramelized plantains in it which are just like a bonus dessert. The Changa espresso smoothie is like a lunch in itself with a caffeine pick me up and super delicious!
google avatar

Joseph W.

Yelp
Great healthy spot in JP! I was super happy to find this spot while spending the day in the area. They've got the usual smoothies, açaí bowls, etc, but they have a number of really unique offerings, too. Their warm bowls are beautiful, the salads are fantastic (especially the Caesar!), and they even have arepas! (I didn't try those but still thought it was cool) The interior is really nice, too. Pretty small, but lots of cute decorations and a cozy seating area up a couple of stairs. I'll definitely be back many times over try more of vegan creations.
google avatar

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. The food is okay, but nothing I couldn't make on my own. The service makes the food even less convincing to come back here. I was first 'greeted' by a woman behind the counter with dark long hair, in which she told me to just let her know when I was ready to order. No 'hi, how are you?', any menu suggestions- none of that. I then approached the counter after a few minutes of looking and she took the order, said just a few minutes and once the order was completed she didn't even have the decency to walk in over to the 10 feet away which I was sitting. Now I'm not sure if this establishment isn't used to people that look like me coming in, but I felt like a piece of gum on the bottom of a shoe with the way in which she extended her arm so far out as if she was going to catch a disease if she came any closer. I then asked for utensils and a paper bag, in which she simply pointed vaguely to where they kept them stored. I have genuinely never felt so blatantly disrespected despite the fact that I paid for a new experience. Oh well.
google avatar

Remi C.

Yelp
I really like the food here. I've even sprinted before closing to grab food. I've ordered...a stupid amount of food from there because everything is fresh and delicious. The acai bowls are stupid good, and where else in JP can you get authentic arepas? Which, would typically lead me to give a place 4 stars. However....service just kills me. Generally, they're a bit slow, but there's usually only 1, MAYBE 2 people making food, and they're friendly enough, so I don't mind. BUT, if you open at 8, open at 8. Be ready to take orders at 8. I had no food at home, drove out of my way, and planned to order 4 meals for the rest of the day. Now, I know that would've taken time to prep, and I had the time to wait. But if I'm there at 8.10 and the place isn't ready to go....and I have to go down the road to a second rate alternative....I'm going to be pretty mad. And I'm going to be very unlikely to go back there. This is just a really, really unfortunate outcome. I can't go back to a place that doesn't honor it's own hours (this is NOT a dig at the lovely woman who was there prepping. This is a management issue). Ya'll are way to expensive of an establishment to run like that.

Sophie B.

Yelp
The waffles (gluten free, vegan) are AMAZING but only served until 2pm. The smoothies, juice, and açai bowls are fantastic. I'm OBSESSED with their carrot muffins (gluten free, vegan) and could eat every day, and my friend is obsessed with their 1 other baked good, the "breakfast cookie" (it is good! and gluten free, vegan). Honestly I don't like the savory food bowl/salad type food very much, but that could just be me. Taking this from another review, so true: they are overwhelmed easily. You can wait inside for a long time before getting to order at the cash register. If you order online, they will usually call you that they are sold out of something you ordered and you have to change your order. It's quite unpredictable. You can get your stuff in less than 2 minutes, or they can forget about your order altogether (from online, in person, doesn't matter). It's not that it's slow per se, it's either reasonably fast or kind of a total miss. It's a quirk i'm willing to put up with for the items mentioned above.

Yelp
Açaí bowl is more like Açaí smoothie in a cup. Not frozen. Melted. Mostly almond milk - serious skimping on the Açaí. Make sure to ask for extra Açaí.
google avatar

Christelle S.

Yelp
I can't believe today was my first visit to Juicygreens - trust me it will not be the last! I had a Tropical Sun smoothie which reminded me of a beach, my sister had the Cuban Mojito smoothie and the mint was great in that! I also couldn't help but order a bowl and tried the Pura Vida - it was amazing! And huge! The staff was super helpful and they are taking safety precautions during this time (masks required, social distancing enforced etc). They do have a mini outdoor patio with umbrellas so you can eat there, though it looked like most ppl were picking up orders or taking the food to go. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Nick S.

Yelp
Went for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed! JP needed more health food focused places and this definitely does the job. The staff is super friendly and offered me samples of their fresh pressed juices and filled My Mediterranean salad over the top of the bowl (I hope the portions stay this generous). Aside from chick peas or black beans there isn't any option to add protein such as tofu, hummus, eggs or chicken which would make the salad more of a meal. They are super receptive to ideas as I recommended they add more protein options to their salads and they agreed. Excited for the grand opening with their finalized menu !

Yelp
Very healthy and delicious! Tastes like fresh fruit was used. Parking quite easy on the street.

Yelp
So happy to have found this place! I usually grab the acai bowl or smoothie which are both pretty good and my husband usually gets the power JP which is really good too.
