If you haven't tried a treatment with Julie you are in for a treat. Her hands are like gold. Her massages are hands down the mest massage I have ever gotten. I also have migraine and her migraine massages are so healing and extremely helpful. When everything else doesn't cure migraine you can be sure that Julie can help you. Julie has a lot of knowledge, she is very professional, wise and extremely talented and such a sweet girl.

Julie is the one who stopped all my research for my TMJ problem. I had jaw pain for about 10 years, it makes a 'popping' sound every time I yawn in these two years, my jaw becomes more painful when I consume chewy food. I went to a few professionals for a cure - chiropractors, and they told me they do not work with skull or jaw-related parts. Then I went to my dentist, he honestly shared that dentist and TMJ specialists are different in their scope of practice, he recommended me to try wearing a nightguard and Invisalign, see if it helps with my jaw pain, my physician couldn't connect me to any specialist in Kaiser treating TMJ either. I cannot stand with the pain for another 2 years to risk the uncertainty so I kept on my search until I found Julie. I was desperate and then I found Julie on yelp, I read her profile on the personal website and made an appointment with her. Honestly, I went in the session with a heart of the least expected and came out feeling that was the best decision made and the most well-spent money in years. Julie started with an assessment and thorough inspection of my movement which causes me pain and the pop. Even I was the one having the problem I know nothing about it and why, turned out my jaw shifted a little bit and kinda 'unhooked' in a way because of my long time habit of chewing and sleep pattern. At that moment I thought, man it's gonna take forever to heal the pain and pop because I had no idea it's a thing that built up for 10 years! Then the miracle happened, Julie said It would only take O N E session for me to be good again and then follow up session is flexible depending on my change of habit and care. Julie then started treatment with me, her magic hands were massaging my jaw area and I could tell that she knows every acute point that was suffering pain and causing my problem. The session was about 1-1.5 hrs, I felt I have connected to my body again and the feeling of knowing what causes my problem was so great, which I never experienced gaining such clarity by going into other professionals. The result: NO POPPING SOUND! I was like, no way ... I couldn't believe it! My husband was skeptical because he hears the popping sound every time when I yawn or try to eat an apple but the sound is gone now! We were both truly amazed. I do not even have the word for it because I was frustrated with my previous experience and I didn't expect it to be so helpful. Julie also shared some nice tips in protecting my jaw movement. You may wonder, as I did, whether it is a long-lasting effect or just for that day, I am writing this review after months of my first session and the popping sound never comes back! My jaw gets sore at times still, due to my eating habit and sleeping habit are not completely changed. Now I know Julie and she is definitely my go-to when I think about getting another session for my tension release, I would not think otherwise and cannot recommend Julie highly enough. I can't speak to her facials, only the business side. I rarely post a negative review, but in this case, I figured if it happened to me, it might be happening to other people. After two cancellations by the owner and difficulty in rescheduling, I asked for my money back (I had pre paid). It never happened. After many attempts to contact the owner over several weeks, and a refund promised, I was blown off. Finally I let my bank handle it only to receive pushback on the disputed charge by the owner. I provided my bank a copy of the owners own cancellation policy and my bank quickly refunded me the money. And had my bank not received pushback on this charge, I wouldn't have posted a review at all, because clearly the owner had other things going on. But the fact that the owner disputed the charge after I had spent weeks politely following up on a refund that was absolutely entitled to me, really got my goat. This owner needs to work on their integrity, because it is not okay to keep someone's money for a service that was never provided.

During my pregnancy I had trouble with pain in my ribs and upper back. I didn't want to take any pain medication for it, knowing it wouldn't solve the problem. I went to see Julie. Her place was clean, beautiful and in the heart of Sausalito. She took her time to talk to me about what was troubling me. Her technique was amazing and she made me relax under the treatment. After just 3 treatments she had relieved all my muscle tension. Even though my baby still can snuggle up under my right ribs it doesn't feel the same as before and i can easily cope with the pain, that doesn't linger and change position to make my baby move. Julie gave me advice of different way to stretch out in my back and how to be more aware of my posture that are changing during pregnancy. If i get new aches doing my pregnancy and after i will without any hesitation go back to see Julie in her beautiful oasis in Sausalito.

My son has been helped with his migraine headaches by Julie. He frequently had to be picked up from school. Julie has helped him detect the symptoms and do exercises that prevents them from developing. And Julie's massage technique is just fantastic. I would say that there is a "before" and "after" we got help from Julie.

Julie is an exceptional talent in Marin and a total healer! I found Julie through an article written on Goop's site. I had TMJ years ago and still wore a night piece as a result. After only one session with her she challenged me to stop wearing the piece, a year later I have seen Julie only twice and never had pain again (and never worn the piece again). I went to all the best doctors in NYC and none of them had the long term impact Julie had in one visit. If you are considering working with Julie I encourage you to do it as quickly as you can - she is a true talent!

I came to see Julie with an injured knee. My meniscus was torn and after having been seen by a surgeon, I was about to go into surgery. Julie treated me 3 times predominantly through deep tissue massage. The two first times did a real difference to me, but the third time, she completely nailed it. The day after the pain was almost gone...honestly, that was completely mind-blowing. Then I started cycling and surfing again and as I was still free of any symptoms, I cancelled my surgery and now 6 months later, I'm still without symptoms. Julie completely blew my mind and I'm very thankful for what she did for me.

I wholeheartedly recommend giving Julie a try. If you have been struggling with pain from injury, or even if you haven't and just need a zen meditative experience, you won't regret seeing her. I have been having issues with neck pain and stiffness from a car accident, and whatever she did was like magical healing. She was highly in tune and used firm and light pressure as needed. I've been to chiropractors, massage therapists, but this was different. I actually fell asleep which has never, ever happened. Her healing space is a beautiful, serene environment on the water in beautiful downtown Sausalito which adds even more to the peaceful, relaxing experience. Fantastic.

Julie Lynge is truly a healer. I had jaw pain for 12 years after radiation around my neck. I was used to pain when I yawn and getting tired after chewing too much. One session with Julie and I feel like I had a concrete mask on my face and she took it off. I feel relief and release and I cannot help but be joyful because my chronic pain is gone. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and confident in her skill set. Julie is as lovely and charming as her waterfront Sausalito studio :)

I can not recommend Julie highly enough. I have been waiting to be in the States long enough to see this guru for three years (I live in Denmark, were Julie is very famous for her great skills within this field) but have been here on an internship since August where I have been seeing Julie. I have problems with migraines and headaches. The first appointment at Julies beautiful clinic was life changing for me. I have been living with migraines with aura for as long as I can remember but feeling that doctors haven't really been taking my pain seriously and just prescribing medication with out having a real conversation with me. The first time I saw Julie I instantly felt that she understood what I have been going through and really met me in the pain I thought I was going to live with forever and even for a danish viking that was very moving. She works with me both physically through her incredible massages, stretches, exercises for better posture and back strength and relaxation methods and mentally through long talks about life, the need to be in control, stress, motivation and so much more. I can't say that I am migraine free yet since I am still in treatment (although 2 months have gone by since my last seizure), but I can feel the strength in my back, the better posture, no (!!!) headaches, body awareness and just increased zest for life and the motivation for not letting this condition be my life. The time I have at Julie's beautiful clean clinic is time for me and I know no better treat. You should go see her!
