Highly recommend - we got meat pies, scotch eggs and pork pies- the pork pies were better than some in England! Everything was delicious! Pastry was perfect! Will be ordering again! Julie is so friendly and helpful! Run don’t walk to her store!!!!!

Tremendous baked goods. We had cheese and onion pies as well as meat and potato pies, both of which were fantastic. We will absolutely order again to try more of the menu. Note that you order ahead of time online and pick up your order and heat it at home - it is not a store front, simply a home business. But don’t let that put you off! Prices are reasonable, and Julie and her husband are very welcoming and kind as well. A hidden treasure of San Jose.

Ordered the scotch eggs, Battenberg cake and some pies. Scotch eggs were the best I ever had!! Had to hide the other one from my hubby!!!! Battenberg cake is huge and delicious ❤️❤️ Just waiting for the pies to warm now. Am sure they will be just as delicious! Brings back memories of home❤️❤️ am definitely going to order again soon!

I really enjoyed the pies I ordered from Julies British Bakery. They were for a dinner party and everyone loved them. I had a combination of Steak & Ale, Lamb & potato, Chicken tikka and Cheese & Onion. Very convenient to pick up as well for me.

I've been craving sausage rolls for years since 1995 that's a long time but I found the perfect place Julie's British bakery I bought a total of four and finished the first one before I turned the corner from her house it was soooooo good that I placed an order for another day and then another order for the following week If your missing the taste of your childhood days like I was or if you just want to try some authentic British food then you have to place an order with Julie and anyone who has read any of my food reviews knows I don't give five stars to anyone this was the first.Julie is a terrific person and knows her way around some flaky pastries So what are you wanting for get to ordering and have a great day

Thank you, Julie! I put in an order for serval pies for a PI day celebration at work and they were amazing! Julie is super friendly and a fabulous baker. I also got to try the Scotch Eggs! SO DELICIOUS! Ordering and pick up were easy and convenient. Julie promptly answered any and all questions I had via email. I will definitely be placing future orders and trying some of her other items!

From the moment we met fellow Mancunian Julie we had a warm feeling. She immediately welcomed us. We had pre ordered (online) pork pies and sausage rolls. They were ready and waiting. No doubt Julie is a good baker. The pork pies had the taste, texture, and appearance of those from the UK. The sausage rolls had a delicious flaky pastry wrapping and the sausages were again like those in the UK. Highly recommended

OUTSTANDING FOOD!! So many incredible and truly authentic British items too ... Wish we had pics of some of the others, however, we were all too busy completely devouring them! The Quality and Presentation is fantastic too... absolutely wonderful people to work with! If you can, you really should try a taste of everything!

My husband is very selective about quality cuisine, and his first comment out the gate was..."best darn sausage rolls I've ever eaten". Huge compliment that I have to agree with! Ridiculously delicious ! Can't wait to try the meat pies!

Some of the best British baked goodies and cakes I've had. Julie is super friendly and just by the flavor of the cake you can tell how much work is put into it and she cares about what she does. Treats full of flavor. Place is very neat and clean. She makes the ordering and pick up process really easy as well which was really nice. Thank you :D

"Made with love in San Jose CA," and I tasted the love in each bite I took! Recently, a link was shared with me and it was to Julie's British Bakery, a home bakery in San Jose! Once I saw the photos of scones, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, cakes, and more, I was lost!!! I immediately placed an order and headed off to meet the owner, Julie, who is a total sweetheart. Needless to say, I've since been back and my latest order included mince pies and, yes, she makes traditional Christmas cakes too, a perfect gift for yourself or a friend (I ordered two!). I'm looking forward to checking out some of Julie's other offerings, particularly the Bakewell tart and Battenburg cake (not easy to find outside England)! Check her site out, you won't be disappointed, better yet place an order :) (Oh, and let me not forget to pass on, she makes her own mince meat, no store bought filling with any of Julie's pies!)
