2 Days in Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion

"Lesser-known but in a great spot overlooking the Saint-Michel Basilica, this address couples a pretty terrace with over 700 wine selections; Julien Chive (“Julo”) focuses on local bottles from Bordeaux by talented winemakers, with additional choices from the Rhône, Languedoc, Loire, Jura, and further afield." - The MICHELIN Guide

This was a wonderful experience! The sweet wine I enjoyed was the most delicious and satisfying wine I have ever drank; it made me feel so smiley. The sheep milk cheese was delicious; delightfully tangy. And the cured meats were also delicious. Shoutout to my server, Claire! Her service was impeccable. She was so friendly and effective; it is clear to me that she takes great pride in being an exceptional waitress.

Great spot in the center of town for delicious wines. Staff is friendly and the snacks are nice. The two times I have been here we had to wait for our table a bit but it wasnt a problem. The area is fun and full of energy in the summer evenings.

Our first dinner in Bordeaux was at this great little wine and charcuterie market across from a beautiful cathedral (the photo of it was framed so it looked like the cathedral was transitioning to a wine rack) . The food, the wine, and the service were amazing!

Really nice wine store. The chef recommended a very nice wine from a friend of him, which was one of the best red wines I had so far. Its a small and very lovely place and you can also sit outside near the cathedral.

Excellent local wine and charcuterie. Service extremely friendly. Great place to stop for an aperitif prior to dinner and enjoy the fabulous wine.

Wonderful place to have some local wines and some tasty tapas. We were a bit upset because we wanted to try local products and the many of them were from Spain. Anyway I would recommend them cause they were high quality products.

What a cool spot! Great localisation, hidden but many spaces outside! Great wines, we tried a delicious italian red, well recommended by the sommelier! His assistant was also lovely!
