12AUG2022: Update. Dined in, Broccoli Beef and General Tso chicken - wonderful. Egg drop soup was 'SPOT ON' today. Fanny took great care of us and as with my first visit - everything is super clean, staff is smiling (Fanny took great care of us), food is tasty, and price is more than fair. Looking forward to when it is a little cooler, and the patio is set up - believe this will be a great little place for frequent dinners. Thank you, Jun Dynasty!
08AUG2022: Been in the area for 10 months, and first time trying this little gem around the corner. To start, the place was immaculate - overhead ceiling panels, floor, seating - ultra clean. Ordered the sesame chicken and the cashew chicken, of note they were out of all beef that day hence the two chicken plates.
Cooked perfectly, tasty, it was nice having a breaded entrée and a sauteed plate. White rice on both not overly sticky, fluffy, and again - excellent preparation. Egg rolls decent, egg drop soup was ok - needed more chicken base or salt, flavor just fell a little flat for this author. Still going with a '5', as the soup was a small part of the meal, both in volume and complexity when compared to the overall meal.
A glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a Tsingtao - complimented the meal nicely. Not certain if they offer Saki - but I will be certain to inquire during my next visit...when I order that beef dish. I realize Saki is culturally 'Japanese', but according to Google, "It is believed that sake was first brewed in China 4,000 years ago." PSA "Now you know". Who remembers that from the 80s.
Special tip of the hat to Hua, great service, friendly and genuine - looking forward to our return! Xièxiè nǐ
