The Juniper was the perfect landing spot for our 5 night stay last week. It was clean and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, and you cannot beat the views. I personally think that room 104 has the best location and view in the whole hotel. We loved that the hotel is located right outside of busy Banff town, yet we could get into the town in less than three minutes. ||We had a car, so we never had to use the car shuttle service. Unfortunately, we never got to take advantage of the E bikes either, simply because we were so busy exploring by car and foot. We did see several guests using them and regret that we were never able to. We did take full advantage of the backpacks every single day. Each pack comes with a first aid kit, flashlight, small binoculars, and bear spray. It was a convenience that we really appreciated. We only ate at the Bistro on our final morning for breakfast. It was so very delicious and so fresh, and the view made it all that much better. Clarence was an excellent server, very personable, even offering to take our picture with the dynamic view. ||Finally, Hudson is a great asset to the company. I never once walked by the desk and saw him doing nothing. He’s definitely a multitasker - checking people in, taking phone calls, getting people situated on the bikes, etc. I really appreciate his hospitality during our stay. ||The Juniper is not the Fairmont, so do not go expecting that. The Juniper is quite lovely, modern yet personable. if you are looking to spend time in Banff, but don’t want all of the crowds of the town, it is a perfect location for exploring all of Banff, Jasper, and Yoho national parks. I would certainly not hesitate staying there again, and I am going to recommend it to everyone I know traveling to the area.
