Absolutely lovely Indian food. Highly recommended if you are visiting Manteca. Parv our host was super awesome. Kudos to the entire team.

What a joke. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered butter chicken & punjabi rajmah & “sweet corn soup”. They served us manchow soup instead. Then they brought a gui corn paste which was actually resembled baby vomit.They both are known punjabi dishes but Junoon somehow messed them up. The food smelled weird and tasted worse—total garbage. When I complained, the manager and waiter proudly said, “That’s how we make it!” Like that’s supposed to make it better? I couldn’t eat a single bite. Left both bowls completely full on the table—and still got charged $50 for it! I took my garlic naan with me and went to my favorite food truck in Lathrop instead. At least they served proper, delicious dal makhni(last photo)—with rice included! Btw they make up their reviews! Post one bad review and they will post 4-5 good ones!! All fake

The food was great and amazing tasted bazar. The atmosphere was very nice and employees were lovely. Would recommend to everyone even if you’re vegetarian or non vegetarian. Service was too good and food came very fast. The restaurant was also very clean and was very spacious. Definitely go give it a shot and I will be visiting very very very often.

Ordered the Tandoori platter it was very good. The Amritsari fish fry was too good. We tried the chowmein the next time we went with our regular order of the platter. That was delicious too.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Food quality not good anymore. The staff was helpful , and the food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Taste and quality is very bad.

I really enjoyed the Amritsari Kulcha here. It was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the stuffing had great flavor. Served hot with tasty chole, and the butter on top made it even better. Felt fresh and authentic. Would definitely come back for this.

BEST spot for excellent Indian food that has plenty of delicious choices. Clean, kind staff, specials. Regular menu portions are huge and always full of flavor. Great Veggie options. Must try their drinks!! Highly recommend if you are in the area!!!!

I’m super excited to tell you that this place has awesome food! They’ve got a ton of choices on the menu, which makes it hard to decide, but we started with the Chili Chicken, and it was fantastic. Then came the Nan bread, which was just perfect. The Spicy Lamb Curry was bursting with flavor, and we wrapped up with a delicious pistachio dessert. The service, especially Paul and the gang, made us feel right at home, and it’s a great spot for families. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

This is a bit of a hard review to write but I will try to be honest and objective. Place is clean and the service was decent. They are trying to creat a high end brand but have a long way to go. The first thing I want to mention is they clear the tables by dumping plates loudly in a plastic bin. That creates so much noise that it spoils the whole atmosphere of the place. The menu- they have a 10-11 page menu with more than 100 items. I would encourage them to reduce items by more than 50% and focus on quality. The veg momos were terrible and were clearly a frozen item which was steamed at the last minute. The filling was raw and the skin was torn. We sent it back and still got charged for it. Didn't realize until later otherwise I would have objected. Some appetizer items such as fish fry and chicken momo were decent but the gravies didn't seem fresh. I wish them well but they seem to have a lot of kinks to iron before they can become a successful restaurant.

Very elegant and chic vibes once you walk in. Wanted to try the new restaurant. The service was very fast. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered the chicken birayni, butter chicken, garlic naan and roti. Surprisingly, the butter chicken was sweet. It was different from other butter chicken I tried. It was very good. The chicken on both plates were super tender! And the breads were delicious! I would definitely recommend this place

Good staff and a great atmosphere overall. The moment I walked in, the place felt warm and welcoming. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and everyone was attentive in a genuine way. The food was flavorful and fresh, with dishes that tasted like real home-style Indian cooking. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for good Indian food in a nice, relaxed vibe.

I've been wanting to check out Junoon since I saw they opened. I decided to come in and order take out right around the time of opening. They have plenty of tables, as well as seating at a full bar. Upon approaching the counter I was quickly greeted and handed a menu, at which point I went meticulously through their many options! (Currently on a plant-based deal, so it encouraged me to try some new things!) The steamed veg momos were quite salty in bites, so maybe not something I'd go for again. I would be interested to try the chicken ones down the road and maybe give the fried version a shot.) My saag paneer also had bites that were a little more salty than others, but overall I enjoyed the dish and would order it again. Texturally it's different than what I've experienced being that it had more of a blended consistency. This didn't play a role in my opinion of the dish, just an observation! :-) This is the first time I've had samosa chaat that was between a temp of cool and warm, but enjoyed the crisp bite of the samosa and the dish was seasoned well. I'd definitely order that again. Lastly, I gave the mushroom masala a try. I had no idea what to expect, as I've never had it before, but the mushrooms were nice and meaty, being a filling component of my meal. I look forward to stopping by in the future to try some additional dishes! I'm not sure if they have any specialty cocktails. Looking over the menu provided, a majority lists the hard liquors in house, the wines and beers available, and then a list of some of the basic cocktails you'd expect with a full bar. I'd be curious to see if there were any Signature drinks. All in all, I'm looking forward to the leftovers I have for the next day or two!

Wow! I am so happy I found this gem of a restaurant in Manteca. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish I had was cooked to perfection. The prices were really reasonable. The service person was very humble and accommodating. I believe it's the best restaurant in our little town right now. If you like Indian food or just wanna give it a try I highly recommend it

Ordered carry out tonight. It was pretty good. I have never seen veg noodles at an Indian restaurant before, so I ordered it spicy to try it out. It ended up being my favorite dish. The actual Indian dishes were alright--the meats were all tender and fresh. The flavors were there, maybe a bit too rich on some of the gravies but otherwise pretty good! Expansive menu with a lot of choices. Worth a try!

I just had the best Indian food It had so much flavor the service from Kara wwas amazing he recommended the goat and Annan and samosas I have eat Indian before but this place has the right flavor it's a party flavor amazing also the ambience was perfect

The place is clean and nice. We ordered drinks and they were not good. The old fashion sucked and the margarita was flat. The samosas were no good and the cauliflower was amazing. The service was okay. Definitely a language barrier. Hard to understand eachother.

Tried this new spot and the ambiance is nice. Nice chairs and decor inside. Service was good, our waitress was nice and patient. Alright let's get to the food.... Aloo tikki appetizer- delicious, it's similar to a potato croquette but with Indian flavors and served with the chutney and sweet red sauce. Chicken tikka masala- now I've eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and the one they served me didn't really look or taste like tikka masala. It look more like goat curry but with chicken.... It was good but not what I expected or wanted. Jeera rice- good flavor and basic rice Garlic naan- nice and crispy Drink- nice variety of drink options, from cocktails to mocktails Spice levels- the waitress warned me that hot level is not what I can take.... So we ordered medium.... And didn't taste spicy at all..... so had to ask for a side of spicy chili sauce. Hoping someone posts their order of chicken tikka masala so I can compare, because I wanna know if I got jipped....

Visited this place for the second time very disappointed the authentic flavor they claim doesn't exist in here, we ordered Marsala dosa which is a very simple dish to make but is usually accompanied with 3 different chutney to accommodate individuals tasty tried all 3 of them no taste of authenticity at all also tried they goat here too no flavor or spice, only decent thing on they menu was the dhal that came with the non veg thali.

Great food service- We were given good attention. The food tastes really good- The Garlic naan bread is one of my favorites(I recommend for sure). I'm a first timer in at this restaurant & I'm satisfied. *Butter Chicken(I Recommend it- Get the white rice with some chilly;).) Ps.They serve a good Martini- Ask for olives & you won't regret it.- Gin & Tonic(Also recommend)- The alcohol in it is Bombay. -Enjoy ;). *Thank you to Sahid & Keran our hosts for the afternoon.

Good authentic indian food and very clean place and friendly staff .if you like amritsari kulcha then this is the place you should visit .

4.5 stars. Brand new restaurant, very friendly staff, very good food, but we got it pretty bland, probably because we asked for mild food. We ordered the paneer dosa, Rogan Josh, shahi paneer, grilled chicken. The chicken was pretty good, a bit drier than I'm used to and could use a bit more marinade. The paneer dosa was very good, the dosa was crispy and paneer was soft. The Rogan Josh was quite nice, lots of meat on the bone and the gravy was delicious. Was great with both naans and rice. The shahi paneer was kinda sweet, the kids like it a lot. Overall great place. Will come back when visiting gray wolf.

visited your restaurant today around 7.45 pm , I ordered 1 drink of Black label, Waitresses told me we don't have black label also asked for my id , I showed her my id , Than I walked at bar counter, 1 gentleman ( looks like bouncer ) come and told me that we don't have black label , I showed him bottle lying at bar, than he asked me again for my id , I showed him id and asked him to keep with him, than he told me if you want to have dinner have it or leave, is this is service of your restaurant? Please explain. A reply on this matter shall be highly appreciated.

Their food was really good. i like the ambiance of the restaurant, it feels nice to sit and enjoy their butter chicken. the staff is really nice as well. i will he going there again as well

Hands down one of the best Indian cuisine and bar in town. Check them out if you are trying to discover every taste bud.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Came in on a Thursday at 7:15 at night and there was one table of six men already dining. My husband and I sat at the bar after we sat down realize there is no bar underneath the chair or wrapped around the bar to put your feet on so our feet just dangled and ended up going numb. We sat there anyways since that is where he wanted to sit. We ordered the non veggie thali and I saw the server put the order in which we thought was our order but it was the table that was already dining ordering extra food. My husband ordered a beer and after 30 minutes we were still waiting for our food when it was just one plate. We waited another 15 until I said something after the server went to the back and brought out three more plates for the larger table that was ordering extra food. I asked if our food was almost done as it was now 8:00 and getting on the verge of having dinner too late. She confirmed just one meal correct it'll be ready in 5 minutes. Then she proceeded to punch something in on the register which I realized was our order that we had placed 45 minutes ago. She said it would only Take 5 minutes. How was our meal going to be ready in 5 minutes were they just going to throw it into the microwave? I told her how can our order being placed 45 minutes after we just literally eye to eye spoke to you and you were at the computer you could have put our order in then or let us know that you forgot to put our order in. We've been sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for food that she never put in and how could she forget when she was standing right in front of the kiosk to enter our order as we are talking to her. My husband pays for the beer and we leave and we end up going to Indian Cafe which is our number one spot but we thought we would check out this new place in town. Never again that was absolutely ridiculous and there's no excuse

Food was awful!! Highly recommend NOT to get any veg dishes from this place ! We ordered shahi paneer - worst gravy !! Vegetable handi - carrots were soggy !! The breads were cold ! Service was ok and ambience was ok too ( does not give you fine dining experience but the prices are so) !!

Came with my boyfriend's family to celebrate a birthday. (Note: They do not give out any goodies for birthdays.) Interior & Decor: Nicer than expected, clean and simple. Food: Veg Momos: 3.5/5 - Good, but nothing special. - Served on a bed of steamed cabbage. - Sauce was good. Chicken Momos: 3.5/5 - Boyfriend's favorite. - Normal taste, but the sauce was a highlight. Veg Manchurians: 2.5/5 - Usually a favorite dish, but fell short here. - Oily, lacked soy flavor in the sauce. - Good texture, but overall lacked flavor. Chicken Biryani: 4/5 - Flavorful with noticeable spices and mint. - Recommended. Extras: - Enjoyed the sweet sauce and green chutney. Service: - Friendly waiter, not Indian, but very helpful. Personal Note: - Had to order chili sauce on the side because boyfriend's family wanted everything mild, which impacted the flavor experience.

This is our first time here. We like the welcoming environment overall. The owner is very neat and paying good attention to details and very organized. It took tooooooo long for the good to arrive. It looks great, but the taste is very poor! We asked for mild tandoori chicken, it's very mild, no salt almost or any flavor to be more accurate. Samosa is Excellent, bread is sooo yummy. But needs more flavor in chicken. Anyway, hopefully this will help them to work harder in enhanse the flavors. The owner stopped by to ask about our experience, we share with him our opinion...very humble and great people. He offered us a free tea..very sweet of him. Thanks anyway and keep it up. Will come back again and try another dishes

Amazing food, great service! Everything was so tasty from the Dosa, puris, and everything in between. Will definitely be back for many more delicious meals! Thank you to everyone at Junoon and congrats on opening!

So to start off. We looove Indian food in my family. This place was new so we decided to try it out and also experiment with a couple new cuisine choices. Please keep that in mind. EXPERIMENT. I'll start off by saying the establishment is clean (bathrooms included) ,nicely decorated while still having a minimalistic/modern vibe. The chairs are super comfy. The staff were very mindful and courteous and were good about not keeping us waiting too long for drinks or food. They didn't have uniforms on like I'm used to seeing. I think that would add a nice touch to the experience. Now the food and drinks. They have a very nice bar with a vast selection of drinks on their menu so you are covered there. I ordered a kingfisher beer but they were out. A Taj Mahal was my second choice and it never lets me down. Foods I'll start with the cons first. We ordered fries and chicken pakora for my child. The masala season on the fries weren't her favorite and she was too picky to eat the pakora. I liked the chicken. But the masala seasoning on the fries made them taste a little like boiled eggs. Wasn't my favorite either. But we are experimenting here. The veggie momos my gf ordered were good. But the chicken ones could've been steamed a little bit longer. Lastly the fresh lime soda. Most Americans won't be used to this unless you are a huge fan of drinks made in Indian culture. It has a lot of fennel seed mixed with mint, lime and sparkling water. It is an acquired taste for sure. Gotta remember though we are trying new things. The pros. We ordered our favorites to compare other spots around town. Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala , garlic naan and samosas. Fabulous!!!! The butter chicken is usually my fav but the masala won me over this time. But I loved how savory both dishes were. The samosas were HUGE AND TASTY. My mom ordered the chicken soup and that was one of the tastiest soups I've ever had. All that said. I give Junoon a solid 7/10 when you weigh in the entire experience including the price for 5 people. I'll definitely eat there again.

We choose Junoon for my son's birthday dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. He started with a virgin piña colada, which was great (I had a sip!) and he loved the butter chicken and jasmine rice and garlic naan. Then at the end, they brought him a platter with 3 exquisite little desserts that were soaked in sweet syrup. See photo! Lovely experience.

Food was great except the tandoori chicken which felt like it was reheated from a day before. Service was awesome and atmosphere was great. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Manteca to sit and eat.

"Though we (4) arrived just before closing, the hospitality was incredible. We ordered two chicken appetizers--pakora and tangdi kebab. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. We also ordered chicken noodles, biryani, and keema naan. At first, we thought we'd over-ordered, but we ended up finishing every dish. The chicken noodles reminded us of authentic Indian street food, packed with flavor. We were unsure about the biryani, but it wasn't the typical sweet and spicy North Indian version--it was a spicy bomb, and we loved it! The keema naan was also absolutely delicious. Please keep up the fantastic work! Your efforts truly make the dining experience special, and we'll definitely be back for more "

Food and service was great. Their Amritsari Kulcha is one of the best we have had in Bay Area. Also the Saag was very flavorful. Would visit again. Ambiance could be better as it was too bright.

it was such a bad experience. I ordered a couple of items ..... the drinks taste weird .... lassi tasted sour ..... also ordered chole bhature..... tasted stale smell like hell , I called the so called manager or owner whosoever she was. she said everything is freshly made . did not apologize or refund any item .... not going there again.............

Had 3 items. One of which is "Pav Bhaji". Curry is stale with a real bad smell. Anytime i go to a restaurant, i can understand that not all the times, curries are tasty. but I wont accept when a curry is stale because it is given deliberately. I called them and just asked one question "Is the Curry Fresh" and i did not get any answer from them Not worth going here.

Just AMAZING place, everything I say from service, to delicious food, and cleaning. Overall 5/5 stars. I would like to thank a girl name Taljinder she knows how to serve great customer service. We go in pretty often just love it. Keep it up you guys are amazing team.

We enjoyed our carryout food experience. We ordered Samosas with an interesting dark sauce that was both sweet and spicy. We also ordered the curry chicken and chicken Patiala. We enjoyed both the dishes, and we've never heard of Patiala before, and it was ok. Overall, the restaurant has a nice ambiance, good friendly service, and good food. Note: At the time of our visit, the restaurant adds 1.99% for card purchases.

I came here for a Family Birthday. We ordered Tandoori Chicken , Tandoori Fish , Chilli Paneer , Lamb Chops for starters . Everything was great for starters . Liked it very much . For the main course I ordered Dal Makhani and Kadhai Chicken , that was great as well . Will recommend this place . I ordered drinks too , everything was great . Service , Ambiance .

Our family tried this new Indian Restaurant. Food was very good! We ordered lamb curry, butter chicken, garlic naan and rice. Service was a bit slow to start with, but it picked up after. Gave us glasses of water but no menu. Had to request the menu from the server. They're probably still getting into the hang of doing things. The staff was very friendly. The owner even agreed to take a photo with me. Clean place, chic and simple design and ample of lighting. They have a bar for those who wish to have liquor and cocktails. There were three tables with customers when we got in. By the time we left, only two spots were open. It got packed for a Friday night. Pretty good restaurant! Worth coming back to.

This restaurant is a good addition. Service: good, a little slow. I can see improvements. They are still new after all. Food: Goat curry, rice, masala dosa. Amazing. Delicious. The goat meat was tender and the spices were just right. Dosa was very crispy and flaky. The best I had. The potato inside the dosa needs a little more help with seasoning and was undercooked. Drink: mango lassi was not fresh. Tasted powdery. Store bought. Wouldn't order again. Would definitely return and try other dishes.
