This was my first time here. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and helped my niece choose something gluten-free. I, personally didn't find the ice cream overly flavorful (mine was regular not gluten-free). My niece liked hers . I would try it again.

Tucked away in an old mill along the Jones Falls, one could easily miss this gem. No seating inside, but plenty outside. The ice cream is delicious and portions generous for high quality ice cream. The staff was courteous and accommodating. We will be visiting here again.

Very disappointed they ran out of cookies and cream. Had to settle for graham cracker which I ended throwing away. It was way too sweet and underwhelming. Very upset!

Delicious ice cream shop! They sell ice cream by the scoop and the pint. The flavors are very flavorful and even on a hot day they keep the line moving fast!

My first time here. The place is cute. The ice cream is rich and amazing sadly I am Giving one start because one of their young lady had an unnecessary attitude . She came up to me in front of every and decide to raise her voice at me and said” turn down your music it distracting “ yet I had instruments playing on my phone and it was low.

5 stars all across the board. The staff is super good and welcoming. What a difference from the Remington location at R house which is horrible. Keep up the good service and great attitude to customers.

Jupiter's is a nice little ice cream shop. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick and friendly, and the ice cream is amazing. The shop itself is small, but there are plenty of places to sit outside. This was my first time having Taharka Brothers ice cream. I have to say, the honey graham is pretty amazing. It's very sweet, but that was just fine with me.

The ice cream was delicious! At first, I wasn't impressed with the service, but they quickly turned it around. My sister realized her order wasn't right, and when she went back, the staff immediately apologized and replaced it without any issues. That level of customer service definitely made a difference! The seating area could use a little love--it felt cramped, and I noticed some spider webs. Still, the space has a cute, family-friendly vibe. Overall, this is a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving something sweet. Personally, it feels perfect for grabbing ice cream to-go or enjoying it in the car. Simple, tasty, and satisfying.

My mom had been asking for a milk shake and we just happened to see someone walking down the road with an ice cream cone. We ventured in to see this quaint little ice cream shop. My mom had a chocolate shake with whipped cream and a cherry on top. I can't comment on the taste because I didn't have any of it. I can say it look pretty and she consumed every drop of it. I said to her, "you do know it's not lady like to slurp." It came in one large size and cost $7.73 cents. The service was quick and friendly.

Staff is always helpful and friendly and the ice cream both Jupiter and Taharka are delicious. Old fashioned fountain style milkshakes are delicious and big. Good prices and options, we love sitting on the porch and enjoying ice cream on a warm day or night.

The ice cream is SPECTACULAR. The prices are REASONABLE. The workers were soooooo nice. They have great ice cream cup sizes, and soo many flavors to choose from. I would recommend to all!

Always passed by this place on my way to MOM's. However, I've been desperate for some Taharka ice cream. Got vanilla bean and matcha mochi. Can't wait to eat them! Sort of a lonely outpost here off Falls Road, but the servers are nice; and you can sit inside or on an ample front porch.

Delicious. Fast service. A cute space and ambiance that fits with the shopping center. They sell pints of ice cream, and some baked goods but they seemed limited, There's a wrap around porch attached to the establishment where you can sit and eat. Overall super cute and would return.

Such a wonderful after dinner treat spot! Jupiter's resides in a charming little building with a wraparound porch (full of tables and chairs), with one in door and one out door. My friend and I popped in and were a little overwhelmed by the options. A nice employee there walked us through some options, including ice cream flavors and cone selections. The whole transaction took about 4 minutes, then we were outside eating on the porch. My ice cream was delicious as was the cone. I ate it all! Would recommend.

Delicious and creative ice cream, but unfortunately they no longer offer taste spoons, so you're unable to explore new flavors without ordering a whole cone or cup. Self-defeating policy which indicates stingy, short-sighted management. Strangely sour attitude for an ice cream parlor of all things. The nice kids working there would clearly like to offer tastes - it's the ownership that has the contempt for customers. Avoid.

What a sh!t show... when we walked in the place smelled like human excrement. It was literally so bad that a couple of the people in our party had to wait outside while the order was made. The bathroom is right next to the ice cream counter and either the plumbing needs to be fixed or the rude guy working today blew the place up right before we walked in and chose not to use the exhaust fan. One of the girls in our party got strawberry ice cream that was so sour she couldn't eat it. Her mom went back inside risking asphyxiation and asked for it to be replaced with another flavor, and the worker said, "No, I can't help you." Seriously?!? In the future I'll get my ice cream somewhere that has better customer service and doesn't smell like a porta potty.

Favorite ice cream place in the city! I'm an ice cream connoisseur; its my favorite dessert. Taharka Bros is top notch (don't debate me)! The flavors are somehow classics, but unique. Roasted strawberry is one of my favorites along with cheesecake, its the perfect anytime snack. The girls who work there are always super sweet and eager to suggest flavors and combos. Salted caramel and honey graham are also top of my list of must haves. So glad my friend brought me here, now I take everyone i know!

Bruh their ice cream is good but if you step foot in those doors past 5:30 don't even think about ordering a milkshake. They always say they are out of milk even when I saw it in the cabinet once. I mean great Ice cream but for the love of god can you have milk for the whole day, your an ice cream store!

mmmmmmmmi love jupiters try any of the flavors that include chcoclate. the mint chocolate one, the chocolate lovers. they all have cute names that i can't think of but like the kids will know what u mean. it looks like its all like 17 year olds that work there, but like good kids. great ice cream. got a banana split bc fuck it i don't need to b healthy i'm young. amazing choice. no regrets. cant go wrong here.

My first visit to Jupiter's was the culmination of my quest to try Taharka Brothers ice cream, and I'm glad I persevered and didn't give up on this journey. I've only tried one ice cream flavor here, and I think it really is the only flavor you need - THE HONEY GRAHAM. So good - the flavors! the textures! Everything about it is perfect. In fact, I ended up going home with a pint during my first visit (which disappeared quite quickly). I would definitely visit more frequently if it were closer, but it's well worth the visit/drive to try!

The customer service is incredibly slow and the ice cream is only okay.... muy ice cream was icy and one noted. I would recommend getting Taharka brothers instead.

Now this place is great. Taharka ice cream. Was this my first Taharka experience? Hmm, can't remember where else they are though it seems they're common in Bmore. Anyway, it was awesome and a random find driving back to the city from Greenspring area. Service is good, people are friendly, and they have a nice variety of ice cream dishes. Hopefully I get to pass this place some time again as it's not on my usual route!

I love Jupiter's and love their ice cream. However, the treatment by one person on the staff renders my returning there in question. The staff person was rude, condescending, and basically talked down to me the entire time I was there. She questioned my order in fact as if I had never been to Jupiter's when I've made the order (two flavors in one pint) many times before. I generally give a generous tip to the staff, but there was no way I was going to reward this person for mean-spiritedness in her speaking and way of being. Since she was Caucasian and I am a person of color, this kind of service always brings forth the question of race. I hope not, but am deeply sorry to have had this experience today when I was there to get ice cream as part of a celebration today. I will probably return, but hopefully will never experience this again.

Get your Taharka elsewhere. The customer service at this place is terrible. We have been going to this place for months since we moved to the area and we are finally over it. Moody teens working at an ice cream shop makes for an unpleasant experience. Eddies of Mt. Vernon and Streets Market nearby carries most of their flavors in their freezer section, or better yet just go to a Taharka location.

They sell Taharka Bros. What more is there to say. Lol. I love when local businesses support and uplift other local businesses. Jupiter's does just that! The portion to price ratio is spot on. If you're in the area and enjoy ice cream this is a great place to go. Here's to a great time, cheers!

'Taharka Brothers' ice cream is the absolute best! This is my favorite place to come to when I feel like treating myself. I never cared for ice cream until I had some of the famous 'Honey Graham' ice cream! Their portion sizes are very generous, the staff are friendly, & the ice cream is so creamy & flavorful. The prices are also relatively low for such quality ice cream. I love their 'Honey Graham', 'Jazzman's Blues', and 'Strawberry'. They don't taste artificial at all, which is usually a rarity nowadays with ice cream. They also offer sundaes, and the options to buy by the pint & quart. I highly recommend sampling anything that remotely sounds interesting to you. I'll eat 'Taharka Brothers' ice cream whether it's 100 F degrees out or -10 F degrees; this is some delicious ice cream that you just can't pass up on.

TAHARKA BROTHERS is the best icecream in Baltimore areaWe're glad to see some restaurants & local shops also carrying. No one in our family of 4 can resist a taste or three of even the flavors we don't typically like. I cannot choose a favorite flavor. I get something different every time and I'm never disappointed.

This place is awesome!! Very friendly customer service and incredible ice cream!!! They have so many flavors and I sampled about 6 before finally deciding. Highly recommend!!

This place is run terribly. The lady who I think is the owner that runs the place never smiles at you and all the young people who work there seem to not care about being nice. We have gone there around 20 times and only a couple of times have the people been nice. Also, there is always the smell of sewage when we go. It never fails. Not exactly what you want to be smelling when eating ice cream. The floor is sticky and disgusting, the line is awkward to wait in, there is no room to sit inside. The ice cream is pretty good, which is why they get the extra star, but it is too expensive for kids portions. Once they get two toppings, it's like 6 bucks. And if you don't tip, get ready for the eye rolls. We live blocks from it and will never return.

Before I moved, Jupiter used to be the closest ice cream shop to where live, and even during winter time I visited the store on a weekly if not a daily basis, which tells a lot about their ice cream. All of their ice cream is Taharka Brothers brand, which means they are all made locally in Baltimore. Like most of the store, they are nice about letting you sample before you purchase to ensure you pick the best flavor for your taste bud. I like how rich and creamy their ice cream is. It never failed to satisfy my cravings. Favorite flavor: butter pecan!!!

Kind of a hidden spot but a total gem. A must try and better than the Baltimore Charmary. Ask to try the Honey Graham you won't be disappointed.

Flavors that I thought I knew what I would get. I tried the Chocolate Fantasy, and on another day, the Mint. Both were exceptional, and unexpected. A true local delight that the parents know to share with the kids!

Jupiter's is solid spot for locally made ice cream! All ice cream is Tahakara Bros brand which means they are all made in Baltimore. The ice creams are def our favorite out of the other locally available ice cream shops in the area. Then again, you can never really go wrong with ice cream, right? They have some interesting flavors that rotate, and luckily they are very nice about letting you sample to ensure you pick out the best flavor for your taste buds! I settled on a classic strawberry milkshake, but we enjoyed all of the other flavors as well. The shop is in a quiet area with some outdoor seating so you can enjoy your ice cream in peace. We will def be coming more often as the weather gets nicer.

As. Good. As. It. Gets. A family friend recommended this place and the 'honey graham/key lime' combination. Each of the 4 of us ordered it. To be honest I don't even have words. How in the world is this place so good?! Friendly staff; she gave me about 4 samples until I committed to trying what our friend recommended. Many, many flavors to choose from. This place is just on another level of ice cream. I ask to go here every time I come to visit my sister in Baltimore.

I've had just about every ice cream at Jupiter's and it's pretty good! Not the best i've ever had but definitely a good choice in the dmv area. Honey graham, chocolate, peanut butter and many more choices that are rich in flavor. They have a limited edition board with flavors to check out as well! If you're in the area/in the mood for icecream, definitely a good place.

First time there in a while. They no longer give tasters and charge 5 cents for a bag. I paid $13+ for a quart and they want 5 cents for a bag! Adult clerk was snotty the entire transaction. Too many other places to purchase Taharka ice cream at lower price points. At least the ice cream was good.

Love their flavors. They have the tried and true, as well as those trendy flavors that make you crave ice cream late at night! Pistachio, butter pecan, and DO NOT FORGET SALTED CARAMEL. Yummy!!

We have been getting ice cream from here for two years , we go even more now. Me and him had our first dates here. Eating ice cream on the porch was really nice during the summer of 2018 and 19. It was a nice lil mini date for us. Now we are in COVID times so we pick it up and bring it home. The store is safe and clean. All precautions are taken by staff.

If you haven't been to Jupiter's yet, please drop everything and go immediately! I'm a big fan of the Charmery, but I honestly think Taharka Brothers ice cream has them beat. Their honey graham is to die for, and combine it with the key lime pie and you'll be singing their praises for days. This is how real ice cream should taste! Creamy, bold and creative flavors that are worth the trek for even in the winter. One of Baltimore's best kept secrets!

Oh I love this spot!! After friend of mine let me try her ice cream, I was hooked! It took me awhile to actually visit the store but as soon as I went I was hooked yet again! The girl that works there is very nice and it's a cute little spot tucked away. I will definitely be going over and over again!

How is it possible that this place has under 30 reviews?!?!?!? #inconceivable. This is one of my favorite ice cream places. Not just in Baltimore but even compared to some of my favorites worldwide . The Taharka Brothers ice cream is delicious, this places has a great variety of flavors, the girls that work there are super sweet, parking is stress free ... need I go on? It's just a win^5 all the way around. And this is consistently true. Trust me. I know ice cream.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I got one of the specialty cones (dipped in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles) and the chocolate on the cone wasn't good, but not a big deal. The most important thing was their ice cream was delicious. A little pricey but a small is actually 2 (very generous) scoops. I'll definitely be back.

Initially, I was going to leave a review about how annoyed I was by the excessive portion sizes even though I requested a kids scoop; but then I tasted my pistachio ice cream and was like, screw it. This place is great -- but please there is a such thing as too much ice cream :)

This is one of the newer Uncle Wiggly locations, and it's going to be a dangerous one for my wallet and waist line. Located right next door to Dogma and around the parking lot from Whole Food, it's great to have an ice cream place where I'm not scrambling to find quarters (like their York Rd location). While this Uncle Wiggly's is ice cream only, that just means I grab lunch at Whole Foods first - after all a healthy lunch cancels out the ice cream, right?!?! So far I've had their Honey Graham, Coffee Oreo, Olive Oil (yes, olive oil), Berger Cookie, and their "standard" coffee. Every flavor has been outstanding, tho the Coffee Oreo is easily my favorite. The portions are generous, and the prices are rather incredible - under $5 for a gourmet milkshake!!! I also appreciate that they do have a peanut allergy policy in place, tho they do warn that there is always the risk of cross contamination when it comes to the milkshakes which didn't stop my better half. The only down side that might be a plus side is that you can't charge under $5 to a card, if this wasn't the case I would probably be there at least once a week but since I never have cash my clothing still fits.
