I recently visited this small taco place and was thoroughly impressed. The El pastor and chicken pineapple tacos were absolutely delicious and authentically made. Each bite was bursting with flavor, clearly showing the attention to quality ingredients and detail in preparation. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, adding to the enjoyable experience. Highly highly recommend this little spot. Delicious food; great, quick service. The freshness of the tortillas really ups the flavor of the tacos. They don't use prepackaged tortillas, and all the food and drinks we had tasted like they were prepared and made with care and pride. These are your traditional style bites, so don't expect tacos like you find at Taco Bell. This is authentic Mexican flavor. Having worked at a place with a large menu selection, I think the smaller menu makes each item stand out and easier to find favorites.

The Shrimp Tacos Gobernador are BOMB! Each bite is literally an explosion of happiness lol If you want an authentic Mexican eatery this is most definitely the go to spot! The camaraderie is truly felt as soon as you enter which I absolutely love. A small but very warm and impactful eatery. You will definitely feel all the great energy!

When a restaurant focuses on one type of entree, you know the food is going to be good. The fish tacos were seriously the best I've ever had, every element of the tacos tasted so fresh and there was a ton of flavor in every bite. They do not skimp on the portions whatsoever. If you are looking for good tacos in the area, this is the place.

I stumbled across this gem while running some errands and I’m so glad I did. This restaurant is so deliciously authentic. I ordered the Birria Tacos and enjoyed every bite! I can’t wait to come back and try more items on their menu

Wonderful little Mexican spot in downtown South Orange with phenomenal tacos. My family recently hired their team to cater a housewarming event and had a great experience. I stopped by a little before 9. The door was closed but they opened it and said they hadn't turned off the grill. Inside is small, with limited seating. While we waiting, we were given chips, with different sauces to try. There was a spicy one that I really loved. For food, I tried the adobo octopus taco, the mushroom taco and the shrimp tacos gobernador. I enjoyed all three of them. The mushroom may have been my favorite. Although they were on the smaller side, they were all really flavorful. I was satisfied, but could have had a 4th. I also tried the pineapple, ginger and cucumber juice that they make in house. It was really refreshing and not too sweet. I'll definitely be back.

The service there is is friendly, warm and knowledgeable inside an inviting location marked with Spanish style tiles and colorful decor. If you ride mass transit in New Jersey then the NJT Rewards program offers a great deal with your reward points. For 200 points you'll claim a promo code to use in person and get three tacos for $10! The only hard part is deciding whether to have chicken, pork or beef.

I fell in love with Jus' Tacos a few months ago... I am gluten free & don't eat meat or dairy... jus' Tacos has several items on their menu for folks like me. If you haven't tried Jus' Tacos do yourself a favor and give them a try!!! And the vibe is so warm & welcoming...

My first visit to Jus' Tacos was wonderful. Customer service was great as I was greeted upon entrance and provided a list of the most popular items. Unfortunately, it was 45 mins prior to closing and my greeter informed me that they were out of rice. I ordered the Carnitas Burrito (sans rice) and when done, the cook came around the counter and placed it in my hands with a smile, instead of just sitting it on the counter. The burrito was AMAZING. Completely fresh and on a homemade tortilla. I was very pleased and will certainly return. P.S. the side sauces, green and orange were incredibly spicy! Lol.

Best taco place in south orange village, every time i go to New Jersey i have to stop and get some tacos from here, everything is authentic and they always make you feel at home especially John. I highly recommend this place!!!

If you are looking for traditional Mexican tacos this is the best place in South Orange to get them. The service is incredible and the staff are super friendly. The food is well worth the price in both price and quantity. Highly recommend.

Amazing and delicious tacos with warm customer service! Really enjoyed the food and it was quick!

Friendly people serving great food. We tried 7 tacos; all were very good, with generous amounts of filling. The tortillas themselves were outstanding. Our favorites, by far, were the al pastor, Justin's, shrimp gobernador and fried fish. That last one blew my mind: I've had many variations over the years, but had never experienced such depth and complexity of flavor. Guacamole is also excellent. The only thing that could make this place better is more space. There's only one actual table, where we would have gladly settled in for a good long while, making our way through more of the menu, but it's not that kind of place. It was bustling with folks picking up takeout and eating at the counters. Easy to see why. If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular.

Best tacos on the east coast. The lengua is cooked to perfection. The tortillas are homemade and amazing. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Go here.

Hubs and I stopped in on Sat afternoon & the man who is one of the owners happily answered our questions at the counter as we ordered and was very friendly and welcoming- we sat at the table in the window and he brought our food over- I love that water's served in reusable glasses & place is very clean- tacos and tamales were DELICIOUS- very much recommend this authentic addition to South Orange- I know we'll be back :)
