Just Baked Bakery

Recently, I have been going around and trying different bakeries and ranking their danishes. This is by far the BEST danish I have ever had. The danishes I ordered were blueberry, raspberry, apple, and cheese. They are so flavorful, flaky, and fresh! The owner was super friendly and generous. They value customer service and it shows! The environment is very cozy and homey. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to try their danishes. I plan to go back to try out their other items!!

I can’t say enough great things about the cinnamon rolls at just Baked Bakery! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls hit me, and I knew I was in for a treat. These rolls are pure perfection—soft, fluffy, and bursting with rich, warm cinnamon flavor. The icing on top adds just the right amount of sweetness, making every bite absolutely heavenly. I stopped by, on a whim, because I wanted a croissant. I ended up getting 2 cinnamon rolls, a chocolate croissant, raspberry danish, and something similar to pain au chocolat. Everything looked and smelled amazing. The bread is fresh from the oven, daily. The pastries were all absolutely delicious and I can't wait to come back with friends. Thank you Max!

I stopped here on a whim to grab a cinnamon roll to bring home for my husband - I’m so glad I did! Daisy the shop dog and the proprietors were so sweet and welcoming, and the shop itself smells heavenly. I picked up a cinnamon roll, apple pastry and a croissant to bring home. My husband has never been so excited about a cinnamon roll and immediately wanted to know where it was from 😂 Everything was so fresh and delicious - 100% will be going back.

Absolutely amazing. I am not exaggerating, there are the best chocolate croissants I’ve had in my life . Took some home to share with my family and they loved the cinnamon rolls, I will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff! The owner Max/Mustafa is incredibly nice they gave us a free cinnamon roll. Their cinnamon rolls are by far the best I’ve ever had!!! 10/10. They’re huge and only $4 I was surprised.

I’m so sorry I did not find this place sooner! I walked in last week and ordered some pastries, a chocolate croissant, and a baguette. I made the mistake of trying the baguette on the way home and hardly any of it was left by the time I got home! This is the best baguette I have had on this side of the Atlantic! And definitely even better than some in France. The pastries were also amazing! The fruit filled pastries are now my favorite! Max, the owner, and his delightful dog Daisy also made me feel welcome! I have already told my family about Just Baked and plan to be a regular! See you soon Max and Daisy!

So glad I decided to stop in here with my girlfriend today by pure chance. I walked in and all they had out was fresh out the oven delicious looking cinnamon rolls. We purchased two and sat in the parking lot to eat. It was the most delicious cinnamon roll I’ve ever tasted! Flaky, buttery, not too sweet just the right amount of frosting melted throughout, with a doughy yet perfectly cooked roll that’s outer shell is caramelized cinnamon and sugar croissant like layered texture, that just makes you want to go back for another bite of heaven. What an experience and treat. Honored for this gem of a baker in my hometown Burke. I will be back weekly.

The cinnamon rolls are to die for. Would love to have more, but after reading about the production schedule, a little discouraged from going back. We heard about the bakery and decided to seek out quality baked goods we crave. The grocery stores produce marginal stuff. And some bakeries only sell to retail. My only hope was Saturday morning Farmer's market. So we drove about 5 miles to the shop and found a rather uninterested staff, working with the dough, and not paying attention to the counter. Finally, after 5 minutes, the baker noticed us, yelled to the back and someone came out to wait on us. The someone reluctantly walked out and offered us what he had (I am going to assume they had a tough morning based on the other reviews.). I couldn't believe NOVA finally has a legitimate bakery--The rolls were the best. We want to go back, but waiting in line, I'll think about how much I have to watch my waistline, become impatient and leave. There is no ambiance. At first glance, I would have sworn they were closing down. The glass shelves were empty and I saw no pictures and references to who they were. Still, the product is superior!!

After seeing its highly rated reviews, I decided to visit this bakery this afternoon, but my experience was disappointing. I paid $5 for a sugar-coated blueberry Danish that was cold, extremely sweet, and not to my taste. The bakery's ambiance is very underwhelming, and if there had been a menu board, ordering would have been easier. Besides, all the bakery baskets were empty except for baguettes on the baking shelf, dinner rolls on the counter, and stacked boxes of Thanksgiving orders everywhere. It's good that there is a complimentary drinking water dispenser and coffee; however, no other espresso beverages are available. I don't think I will return to this bakery.

The second time we made a large (50) order for our church fellowship hour Both the service and pastries were OUTSTANDING. The order was ready on time and came right out of the oven nice and warm. Max the owner helped put the order into our car. The workers are friendly with plenty of smiles and a can do attitude. Very helpful. The food was completely gone during our 1-hour fellowship. Not a single crumb remained. This is our second large order for fellowship hour Both events produced the same outstanding responses from our members. The food was delicious and we want more. The pastries were warm when members selected their choices. We encourage all residents and visitors to Fairfax to visit the Just Baked Bakery you will not be disappointed and will come back for more. We love the JBB and will return for more.

I kept seeing raving reviews for this new bakery in the Twinbrooke Shopping Center along Braddock Road. Entering the shopping center, look for the sign "Bakery" along the row with Walgreens. As I walked in, I was greeted by multiple kitchen staffs, which were all very friendly and sweet. I cam here on a Friday morning around 830am. Looking in the display case, there was only croissants and I thought to myself, ummm.. am I at the right place? Then the tray of fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls and trays of danishes came out. PIcked up a giant cinnamon roll and an apple danish. $4.25 each for the size was reasonable. The entire drive back home (15mins away), the scent of the warm cinnamon roll was just too distracting. Soft, moist, flaky, one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I am rarely in that area, but would definitely make the drive again just for the cinnamon roll.

Fairly new bakery in town. I heard all the buzz and decided to try out their baked goods to see what the hype was about. The place smelled incredible! I tried their raspberry danish, cinnamon roll, and chocolate scone. They were all so fresh and delicious! Wishing the owners continued success with their new bakery! I'm now a huge fan.

The cinnamon roles were delicious. Just wasn't much of a selection of bakery items. But what I had definitely tasted home made. I would go back and refer others.

The best little bakery you could ask for and it's right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. If the rolls are sold out, as is often the case, there's probably another batch rolling out in 15-20 minutes. So sit and enjoy a free cup of coffee and the busy, friendly buzz of the place while you wait. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. Hahaha - just pass it over here! Enjoy. (Daily?)

Yum! Sweet little hidden spot in the Twinbrook Shopping Center off Braddock. Had to wait a bit for the cinnamon rolls but it was totally worth it. I'll wait anytime for these delicious ooey-gooey pillows of heaven. Owner gave us a giant coffee cafe to sample while we waited for our cinnamon rolls and his dog, Daisy, kept us company too. Owner is a gem, who clearly likes to welcome people in and fill bellies with sweet happiness.

I still love the baked goods, but on my next two trips, all of the pastries were undercooked. It didn't bother me but it bothered my family. I will still come try again!

Local bakery. Locals have already embraced the shop. It's not much to look at and on weekend mornings pastries grabbed up and there may be a wait for hot and fresh pastries. A lot of times people just get what's available. The cinnamon bun and apple fritter were rich and delicious. Will love to try more things for sure.

I kept hearing so much about this bakery so we stopped in today while running errands. It's a small place with friendly helpful staff. It smelled delicious inside. I didn't see anything out in view for sale, so I just asked the woman at the counter. At the time we went they had cinnamon rolls ready in 10mins and croissants (chocolate & regular). We ordered a bit of everything. So far the cinnamon rolls have been super popular with my family! Really delicious and a little different then what I normally think of as a cinnamon roll and better per my tastes! The croissants were amazing! A bonus - we adored the adorable dogs at the bakery. Both were very sweet and loved getting attention.

I showed up at around 8:10 this morning to order cinnamon rolls and croissants for company at my house. I was very disappointed that they had nothing available for sale. The girl at the front didn't even apologize or think it was odd. The owner heard and offered me a few cinnamon rolls from a large pre-order. He had not even started croissants yet. It's strange to come to a bakery after it's open and have completely bare shelves. The cinnamon rolls were very good. I recommend coming at least an hour after opening if you want any type of selection.

The best bakery around. The owner, Max, and his super friendly dog, Daisy, make my day when I visit in the morning to get some warm yummy cinnamon rolls. I always have to try something new as well. By far, the best baker around.

I had an intense craving for a cinnamon rolls so I found this place near my house on yelp and sent my husband to go pick one up for me. The cinnamon roll that he brought home was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect amount of icing and the roll itself was not dry whatsoever. We will be back to try more pastries.

The baked goods are fantastic and the signature cinnamon rolls are top notch! Some other comments complain about availability and pace...those folks have no concept of "island time." The owner is great, he moves at his speed, and it works so come prepared for an experience. Grab some of the complimentary coffee and have a conversation with the owner. Highly recommended! I make runs to grab breakfast items for the family whenever I can.

Just Baked Bakery is the best bakery in town! Max is so kind and Daisy is just the sweetest thing ever! All of his creations are so well priced for the incredible quality you'll be getting! I Personally LOVE his cinnamon roll as they have a flaky puff pastry outside and a gooey, classic cinnamon roll texture on the inside. I love getting up bright and early to snatch up a freshly made pastry! I'm writing this on new years eve, and today we picked up the ultimate new years eve snack; A absolutely massive pretzel! We were shocked a the sheer size of this pretzel, almost 2 feet across. I had to come in early this morning to order ( I'm so thankful they were able to make it because you're suppose to order it a day in advance, and everyone was really nice) and by 3 it was ready for only 20 dollars! If you want good food for a good price from one of the kindest people I have ever met, this is the place!

The cinnamon rolls are to die for! My son and I can't get enough. And we always love seeing Daisy the Service Dog - she happily welcomes customers to the bakery!

Finally got a chance to stop in and it didn't disappoint! Amazing blueberry danish for me and my son crushed on croissants. The owner, Max, was welcoming and told us about some of their new things coming down the road that include lunch sandwiches. He allowed us to give the bread a try and it was worth taking home a baguette. I'll he making this a more frequent trip!

Having read a lot of good things about Just Baked Bakery, I thought I would give it a try myself. I got there at its posted opening time this morning -- 7 am -- and it was open, but it had absolutely nothing ready for sale. It wasn't until a half hour later that things just started coming out of the kitchen. (Why would a store open with nothing for sale?) I had already driven 15-20 minutes to get there, so another half hour of waiting -- just to get cinnamon rolls -- was frustrating to say the least. To top it off, the cinnamon rolls were good, though not exceptional. Not worth the drive and the wait, so I won't be going back.

Top notch bakery, Max knows how to make mouth-watering cinnamon rolls. FABULOUS! We also bought some day-old danish pastries (at a 50% discount), a few seconds in the microwave and you'd swear they were right out of the oven. Just Baked has become so popular that if you go too late, there might not be anything left to buy.

These pastries are truly "just baked" so you may even have to wait a few minutes for them to come out of the oven but they are worth the wait, especially the cinnamon rolls!

We drive from Woodbridge to Fairfax to eat the cinnamon rolls at this bakery. They are wonderful! All the baked goods are wonderful. Max and his service dog Daisy are so welcoming to everyone. You feel so special when we are there.

Not easy to find and still ramping up but it won't be long before all the local foodies know where this new bakery is. Cinnamon rolls and croissants were delicious - buttery and flaky but not overly sweet. Get them fresh and hot out of the oven when you can. Seems like Max is always baking something new. This is NOT Cinnabon, this is the real deal.

I heard so much about the Twinbrooke shopping center bakery from my neighbors. That I stopped in for one of his cinnamon roll. In a word, it was delicious. In addition, to the cinnamon rolls I heard Max, the owner also does pies. So I ordered 2 pies (apple and pecan) for Christmas. Can't wait until Christmas dinner.

Best Bakery in town! Have to get there early sometimes there is a line out the door! Best patsteries in Northern VA. Business owner is very nice and makes a wonderful addition to Twinbrooke shopping center!

Hate to give it a low review because I want it to be good and succeed. Been twice now, about a month apart. Bought cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissants both times. 1st time the cinnamon rolls were quite raw in the middle but the chocolate croissants were fabulous. Chalked it up to an unlucky batch. 2nd visit both the cinnamon rolls and the chocolate croissants were very raw in the middle. Ate the outside layer but the inside was inedible. I hope it's part of growing pains and newness but we won't be back for a long while. For the cost, it is just not worth it.

As a self proclaimed cinnamon roll snob, this is the best I've ever had. The outside is crispy and fresh, yet the inside is so soft it's almost creamy. And on top of them if the best crumble ever. The bread is nothing to scoff at either. Unique and so fresh. A very nice crusty outside and a delicious fluffy interior.

The best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! Above Cinnabon or any other chain, even local bakery, I have ever been too. Owner is so nice too! This is the only bakery I've been to where everything you can order is good and not dry!!

I never do reviews but had to after this. Holy WOW. After seeing the reviews about the cinnamon rolls I had to try and I was not disappointed. 10/10. So freaking good. We also got the raspberry custard danish and that was AMAZING. The staff are SO nice and they clearly have fun working there which is always cool to see. Vibes are great!! The complimentary coffee is also such a nice touch. No pics, we scarfed them down too fast.

We gave this place a try. Really wanted to like it and had high hopes because of all the positive reviews the older people are giving because they feel bad for the owner and "need a bakery" in the area. Saw a little poodle-looking dog walking around and thought that was cool because we're huge dog people we have 5 dogs. But we can definitely see why it would be a concern to some people as we saw the dog walk into the kitchen and repeatedly sneeze over and over. You could see the particles in the air. We were 3rd in line, trying to find a menu or any sort of list of options so we know what to order and how much things cost, but hey maybe they're working on it. Idk Saw a bunch of people waiting a long time before we even got there and after we left they were still waiting. One guy had to say "just forget it give me something else" so i think he needs to work on speed because there definitely wasnt any sense of urgency. Long line of people and he's just walking around taking his sweet time. Maybe hire some help? Seen so many people talking about how "kind and hardworking" he was.. i definitely did not see it. Lady who was working with him was weird and not really friendly. No greeting. And ignored us at the register for 10 mins before asking what we wanted. I get it u're busy, but greeting takes 1 second to let someone know you'll be right with them. Theres no restroom. Theres only 3 tables for 2. All the display is there but nothing on shelves. No utensils We tried to find a fork or knife.. nothing. Hands messy with no bathroom to wash em. Then as we're ordering the dog starts to bark loudly like crazy at the front door probably at the dogs next door at animal hospital. Again we love dogs and get that maybe its a service dog but maybe have a gate up so he cant wander wherever. We get it you wanna support a small business . The pastries are good, but instead of just "supporting" . Nothing changes if nothing changes. Theres customers out there that take that kind of service to the extreme. Maybe arrange the front so that theres more seating instead of all the space wasted on displaying nothing in the glass or shelves. Not trying to knock his hustle just think he needs better advice

I am a cinnamon roll connoisseur having tried them across the country over 70 years and I tried one here and can tell you this was absolutely unequivocally the absolute best cinnamon roll I have EVER had. I live in California and it's good enough to have some overnighted just because they are so good. I also tried the Nutella pastry and it was also phenomenal. Daisy the dog was allowed to come greet us with our grandchildren and she is the sweetest dog. To top it off, Max came out and was so charming and engaging and made us all feel so welcome. It's a 3000 mile drive for me but I will be back.

Best bakery in the metro area. Some might say "pricey" but that is more than made up in the quality of the baked goods. A great way to end/start the week. So far the mode of operation is to bake as fast as possible until the people stop, say around 2 pm. Beginning soon, besides breakfast treats (danish, cinnamonrolls, turnovers, and croissants), there woll be various breads. It's first come, first serve, fresh from the oven. Simply delicious! Makes most baked goods sources seem like dog food with their lack of quality ingredients and freshness--seriously!

I have read about this bakery many times, but usually late in the day. Today I was reminded early enough to get there in time to grab some YUMMY items. Super friendly staff and the cutest welcome pup. As soon as I got home I was rewarded with the tastiest Cinnamon Roll I have ever had. I'm not a huge fan of a heavy cinnamon taste. These are PERFECT, just enough and balanced. THANK YOU for your tasty treats, I'll be back!!!

This place is an experience! Get there right when it opens because they sell out quickly. Freshly baked cinnamon rolls are indescribable. The owner Max is so nice. You will not regret buying anything. This is heads and shoulders over any bakery in the area.

I normally dont take time out to leave reviews but this one is different. I walked in for a coffee and was greeted with such love that I was left speechless. He immediately first offered me to try some fresh baked cookies, I declined but he insisted. The cookies were from the heavens, they were delicious. I asked to order Coffee and he said it was on the house. I insisted I pay but he still didnt take payment. Then I forced him to sell me a cinnamon bun. OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD. I swear I dont even like cinnamon buns, I was only doing it to give him some business and I nearly felt like I fell in love. Give this place a try, I promise you wont regret it
