Mike and Weston are two awesome guys that make this bright space even brighter. These men pour their hearts into what they do and it shows. You can feel it, you can taste it. The ownership must be on it to find and keep two guys like this in their employ. Super grateful to be able to show up at an establishment and not just feel welcome but, also have food that nourishes me like, or better, then at home. Go to this spot once and you will keep coming back. And watch out- if you have the BREAKFAST BURRITO, it WILL ruin the rest of them in the Boulder area. So be prepared to say goodbye to your old favorite. Yes, it's that good. (See pictures if you don't believe me) Thanks guys and thank you to the kitchen staff too.

Google
Amazingly delicious!! The manager Mike was kind enough to help me enjoy a custom wrap to fit my dietary restrictions using what ingredients the kitchen had on hand. Gluten free tortilla, mixed veggies, avocado, riced cauliflower, garbanzo beans, vegan pesto and vegan cheese sauce! I was also given a side of vegan ranch. All of this healthy food served with love from the chefs who created it at an affordable price. I left full, happy and vibing 💚✨ can't wait to come back with friends and family to enjoy more good food, great ambiance (loved the music and relaxing on the outdoor patio away from road noise) and terrific people! Highly recommend!!

Google
I visited Just Be Kitchen while in town, and although I appreciate restaurants that focus on healthy, allergen-friendly options, my experience felt underwhelming for the price. I ordered a cup of the house soup, which came in a small ramekin for $7.75. The flavor had potential, but it needed more seasoning, and I found myself adding salt to bring out the taste. My daughter ordered the tomato soup with grilled chicken and cheese ($26.22). She enjoyed the soup — it was nicely balanced — but the grilled cheese was unexpectedly sweet and served in a tortilla, something she didn’t love. She said she would skip the grilled cheese next time but would order the tomato soup again. We also shared the cauliflower wings ($9.99), and this was the biggest miss of our visit. They had a gelatinous texture and were extremely spicy. The gentleman working — who appeared to be the only person running the restaurant at the time (cooking the food and bringing it out) — asked how everything was. I explained the issue with the cauliflower wings, and he mentioned it might be due to tapioca starch. He offered a brownie, which was kind, but I was surprised the wings weren’t refunded, especially since the plate was barely touched. Having been in management myself, I would have expected a different approach to guest satisfaction. The environment itself is cute and inviting, but overall, the food quality didn’t quite match the pricing for us. Our bill came to almost $55 with tip, and based on what we experienced, it didn’t feel worth that amount. I’m not writing this to bash the business — I think there’s potential here, especially for those seeking dietary-conscious options — but improvements in flavor consistency and customer experience would really elevate what they’re trying to offer.

Google
Really cute cafe with an uncommonly large menu. Plenty of clearly labeled options for many different diets, including vegans, gluten free, non dairy, refined sugar free, legume free, etc. My delicious toast order was ready in under 5 minutes!

Google
I have visited this place before and I always have a great experience. The food is always delicious even with the dietary restrictions, so you don't feel like you're missing out on anything. Tania is always very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and the ingredients of the food, as well as very friendly and she makes you feel welcome every time. She recommended the chicken cesar wrap and it was one of the best meals I've had! I also ordered coffee and it was very tasty as well, just as if I had ordered it out of a coffee, if not better!

Laura C.

Google
Found this gem by googling gluten free. Everything is labeled for gluten & dairy free as well as vegetarian or vegan, plus others.Tania was so great in helping me navigate a citrus allery. My husband and I shared the tomato soup, burger and gnocchi. Also shared a brownie. All were excellent. Highly recommend.

Google
Incredible! Mike was super helpful, walked us through the menu and got us a great meal. The salad was super fresh, bright, and filling. The quesadilla with veggies was amazing, complex, and so satisfying! You have to try the brownie too! Delicious, can’t wait to come back.

Google
I wish I could give a 5+ rating! It is so great to have a place that cares about inflammatory foods closer to home (and I don't have to cook from scratch). I have been on the autoimmune protocol diet for over 8 months now (am in the reintro phase) and it's great to see food options on menus that are dairy free and egg free. And having confidence in the ingredients list or crosscontaminatio n. The dishes we had (Passion vegetable curry chicken and Rot buffalo chicken wrap) were sized for more than we could eat and packed our leftovers to go. The curry seemed spicier than I expected, but I have not had a lot of spices in the last months, so it's possible it's just my reaction. The desserts look just like the traditional recipes. Yes, some dishes may not look or taste like the originals, but this is food for those that actually need it free of allergens. So I think the reviews about consistency and taste don't have a place here - have you tried making these at home? Prices were decent for Boulder and we also purchased a brownie mix bag to make at home (mine will be an egg free version). Staff was attentive, friendly and served us some brownie bites while we were pondering our choices. Will definetly come back.

Yelp
We were very happy to find this place. Very thankful for all the gluten free food available. The owner was super friendly and helpful and ordering at the counter was very easy with the tablet. They do bring the food to you and the place is quite casual and cozy. We almost made it back for a second trip but didn't have time during our trip, maybe next time.

Yelp
I really hate that I didn't like this place, honestly, because normally I'm all for supporting gluten free businesses as someone with celiac. But the food here was just... not good. Maybe it was just too many healthy ingredients to taste normal, maybe it wasn't seasoned well, or maybe there were weird unidentifiable things in the food not mentioned in the menu description, but I left having eaten only a few bites. I ordered the DDD special which was to come with chili and soup and a tortilla. The meat of the chili was so ground up it tasted like anything but meat, it was covered in a full layer of green onions, and the flavor was very citrusy with nothing else to balance it out. The soap had identifiable lumps of something that definitely didn't taste like chicken and just wasn't good. I finished the tortilla and had a couple bites of both sides. The tortilla itself was fine, but not great, and I don't think it would've tasted good if it hadn't been warmed up. I really appreciate that they cater to dietary needs, but I won't be back.

Yelp
We've eaten here atleast fifteen times and I keep coming back. Sometimes is delicious. Sometimes it's mediocre. The ingredients make it one of the few places I eat in boulder. We mostly eat there but I just took it to go and the burrito was soggy and the food wasn't particularly warm except the chicken. Point being- it can be a hit or a miss. I wish it was more consistent and desirable in terms of flavor in addition to quality of ingredients. They've got that part down but the flavor is something that needs to be addressed on many items on their menu including their burgers and poke. Quality ingredients will get me through the door me but make a menu that's really desirable and tasty and I would eat there more often and be more satisfied. My suggestion would be to half the size of your menu. Even quarter it and focus on producing a few things really well. Do that well and you'll be able to thrive when true foods opens in boulder.

Jared F.

Yelp
Well I'm a big burrito eater and I have to say this is a pretty tasty burrito on their menu. Service was smooth, easy to order from their menu. I like the home style vibe.

Jenna S.

Yelp
absolutely my favorite place in boulder!! very welcoming vibe, amazing food and great at allergies :)

Izzy T.

Yelp
Ordered a vanilla latte and took two sips before throwing it out and buying a new coffee next door. It tasted burnt and not like espresso/wasn't sweet at all. Especially disappointing for how expensive it was. Didn't get food but they seemed to have a good selection at least.

Corinne T.

Yelp
We had an awesome experience at Just BE Kitchen Boulder! My son has GF, NF & DF severe allergies and Mike (the manager) went above and beyond to welcome us, help him order a full meal plus a delicious brownie and make us feel safe and at home! He even visited with us a bit and changed the playlist to my son's favorites! The food was delicious and we look forward to returning! Thank you Mike

Yelp
Really yummy! I got the burger and even though it looked kinda intimidating, it tasted good! Cauliflower was sooo delicious. Service was good the lady was very nice and polite, it is self service for ordering. Ambiance is nice and very chill. The menu has all kind of options so good for people with allergies!

Liz V.

Yelp
I ordered the burrito and should have read more closely. It was serviced enchilada style which I would not have wanted. The GF tortilla was great. The burrito filling was not good. Very bland eggs and not much flavor otherwise. The jalapeños were a nice touch though.

Wilson R.

Yelp
this place is so good. I don't understand why it doesn't have more ratings. I've been there twice now and the food is so amazing and clean. It taste amazing , the ambience is lovely, and the food is some of the best I've had in Boulder. I like to eat clean, healthy food that tastes fantastic. You would think that's not hard to come by, but it is. especially for a price. This place is excellent. try it

Yelp
I had friend come to visit who was gluten free and dairy free and we scored the jackpot here. The food was SO good. The staff was attentive and I know I'll be back

Yelp
Good clean vegan options as well as food for my boyfriend healthy inviting atmosphere with incredible music So glad we found you guys! Would have given it 5 stars but the service leaves a lot to be desired

Hannah R.

Yelp
I paid $11 for small slice of avocado toast. I expected the bread to be dense because it's gluten free, but I didn't expect it to be SO SOGGY. It was wet all the way through, like instead of toasting it they soaked it in water for 15 minutes. I tried to eat it, but it was gummy and honestly so disgusting. I wish I could have asked for a refund, but I was running late. I'm sure some of their food is delicious, but avoid the avocado toast. To the owners of JustBe: What the heck?? Also as someone else said, it's ridiculous to ask for tips when you're not even interacting with a human cashier. The computer ordering setup gives a cold and unfriendly vibe.

DeAnna O.

Yelp
Yummy, yummy, yummy! We are so impressed with these massive gluten-free, good-for-you ingredients, cinnamon rolls. As if that were not enough, we were equally impressed with the gal working behind the counter this morning (6/22/25 ~11:30). I wish I had gotten her name... she was so kind, easy to talk to, and provided fantastic customer service. Thanks, Just Be! See ya soon.

Yelp
I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars here. I visited for takeout while I was on a very restricted diet due to health issues. I ordered the vegan quesadilla and the cheese was just ... weird. It had a funky flavor to it I couldn't pinpoint, but I am not a vegan cheese connoisseur, so maybe it's an acquired taste. It came with vegan ranch to dip it in and this also tasted funky. The roasted veggies were amazing and the vegan cookie was decent - not very sweet, but still satisfying. My pickup experience was unremarkable- I didn't see anyone in the kitchen or restaurant area, but it was close to closing time. I think the food here is a necessary niche. I don't know that I'll be back, though.

Maria M.

Yelp
We enjoyed our lunch here so much. We are gluten and dairy free and try to avoid as much refunded sugar as possible. It was so nice not to have to special order anything and have a choice from the whole menu. Food was incredible and service was friendly and fun. And OMG the brownie. We will be back. Thank you for opening this place!

TR S.

Yelp
Legit. It's one of the best restaurants in town and is the healthiest. I've tried almost everything here. We use to drive to Denver to eat at sister store, so happy it's here. So far it's undiscovered in Boulder.

Miranda L.

Yelp
Fantastic. As someone with celiac it's amazing to find restaurants like this that are serving quality and healthy GF food. I can't remember the last time I had a tortilla so close the "real" thing. 10/10. Highly recommend.

JM L.

Yelp
Dined here once, and got the Riot chicken bowl. It was awful. The chicken was odd -- flattened/compressed, strange texture and poor taste. I left much of the food in the bowl, didn't find it edible. A far cry from the restaurant that inhabited that space before (fresh thymes)

Leslie E.

Yelp
I found this place on the Seed Oil Scout app. I'm perplexed at why the overall review score isn't a 5 or super close to it. Finding a place that does not use ANY bad fats or oils is a serious challenge. Not only are their oils on the level, but they take care with their sourcing otherwise. This takes a TON of heart and dedication. This is rare, real food. What I had was nourishing, satiating and delicious. Plus I was so very warmly welcomed by Wesley. He was very helpful. The vibe was nice as well. I wish there were more places like this who cared more about your health than the bottom line. Avoid canola, soy and vegetable oil like the plague. It's in the vast majority of our food today. Check your salad dressings especially! Even at places that market themselves as health conscious. They often still use an oil blend like diluting olive oil with sunflower oil. I promise these will not do your body well. Our bodies evolve slowly. Think hunter gatherer...try to go make a tablespoon of oil from a seed. It's just doesn't make sense. Focus on whole fats and when you eat out support people like whomever owns this place and really go the extra mile for your pleasure and health.

Yelp
Everything that we tried was excellent. The tortillas are delicious and dumpling soup is amazing. We enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be back!

REN S.

Yelp
I had the breakfast quesadilla. It came exactly as I ordered it. I was hesitant about an almond flour tortilla, but it was yummy. The lemonade was special and delicious.

Sadie B.

Yelp
It's so weird that a restaurant that gets it on the healthy food front is pushing transhumanism and technofascism, while refusing to take cash, thus violating their customers' privacy and anonymity. Customers are expected to order at a computer (while still being asked for tips!) and pay with credit cards. I watched my food sit under a food lamp for six minutes, as there was no actual employee tending to the delivering of food. If you really care about your customers, do away with the cold and offensive computer interface, and resume the receiving of cash, instead of fueling the destruction of western civilization by demanding your customers have credit cards. Does this mean you hate poor people? Talk about classist. Egads...

Michele G.

Yelp
Really kind and lovely service, incredible options for gluten free dairy free, and tasty food. Offers outdoor seating in the back

Amanda Nicole M.

Yelp
Everything at this restaurant it gluten free and delicious!! I was so excited to find it!!! Don't miss the fudgie Brownies I will definitely be back!

Connor R.

Yelp
Blandest food I've had in boulder by a long shot which is saying something. Textures were inconsistent and I didn't know you could screw up a quesadilla till I had one here. The awakened breakfast quesadilla was both dry and crumbly and maybe seasoned with salt? Definitely nothing more than that. It's like a vegan restaurant from LA came to boulder but they forgot to bring the good vegan food or anything creative or a fun ambience or nice decor. Not to be harsh it was just shockingly bad all around. Nothing on the staff though, everyone I spoke to was very nice and seemed happy to be there!
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
First time in this restaurant, so a nice young man behind the counter helped me order at the kiosk and his suggestion for breakfast was SPOT ON. The Bliss gluten free French toast sliders were served on a wooden slab with toasted coconut sprinkled on their soft lovely tops that held just right scrambled eggs and sausage that had been cut into fingers so every bite has a crispy edge in it. The maple was REAL as it should be in every restaurant. I got the carrot dip to go and the gluten free crackers were AMAZEBALLS. Very toothsome. I don't have to eat gluten free, but this place makes it easy and tasty to do so. I hope you get to try this food!!!
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
Best healthy restaurant in all of Denver and Boulder. Always such kind staff and their food is amazing. I've loved everything there. Their bone both is delicious and you should definitely try the triple D (DDD) special!
google avatar

Phil L.

Yelp
Been eyeing this spot ever since I tried the coffee shop next door. Got a Brisket Shepards Pie, very yummy, good size, little pricey. I enjoyed it a lot! Instead of bread it's smashed sweet potato which is healthy and gluten free I believe. Atmosphere there looks great, nice wall art, tons of seats. Staff was nice and helpful, store is clean with an open top view kitchen. Menu is a bit confusing but very unique! Will be going back and trying something else to eat, will update this review if needed.
google avatar

Liana R.

Yelp
I had never been to the location in denver, but I had heard good things about it so I decided to order delivery from Postmates since I live in Boulder and I prefer Paleo food. Let me just say oh my lord! The food is SUPERB , I loved the quesadilla and the cookie was DELICIOUS. This restaurant and Wild Pastures Burger Company are AMAZING. 100% seed oil free! I 100% recommend it.
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
The first time I had the breakfast burrito and the second time I had the shepards pie. Both were delicious! It's a really cute restaurant! The food was ready pretty quick

Jared C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, glad to see another health conscious spot in boulder. Highly recommend the passion curry cauli rice bowl.

Darren N.

Yelp
Hands down, the best restaurant in the area. One of the only places around that doesn't use seed oils, is completely gluten-feee, and takes tremendous pride in sourcing healthy, quality ingredients. From the delicious food to the delightful staff, we can't recommend this place enough. Top picks: Loyal quesadilla w/ grass fed cheese + jalapeños, green chile, soups, French toast sliders, and house made Gatorade--AMAZING!

Cristina J.

Yelp
Great food! And it's my diet AIP! Super tasty food without harmful health ingredients. Taste good and makes you feel good! Very chill music. The staff were BEing super helpful and kind. Would go again in a heartbeat!
