The Best Creole & Cajun Restaurants In Atlanta

"Since this small, Mardi Gras-colored eatery sits in a gas station shopping center right off the Boulevard exit on I-20, it’s a convenient stop to gas up and grab a bite before hitting rush hour. With a long menu that ranges from muffulettas to seafood boils, Just Loaf’n comes through with big bayou energy. We’re fans of the oyster po’boy—the tangy remoulade spread balances perfectly with salty fried oysters, and the french bread is soft enough that we always finish our end pieces. Even the vegans in your krewe can get down with their faux shrimp platter, which comes with a heaping serving of Cajun-spiced fries and fried jackfruit that does a decent job imitating shrimp. And with a long list of snowball flavors, kids will love this pitstop, too." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams

I googled bread pudding near me and this place came up. I feel like the GPS told me I arrived before I actually arrived, I almost went home, but I saw it up ahead near Hip & hop brewery. The place looks new. Parked on the street. They have a sign that says parking in the rear, but I didn’t see how to get back to the rear. New Orleans theme is cool and looks like an open indoor outdoor bar-order drinks and get a quick good bite. Seems to be the idea here. Wow, they had a DJ on a Tuesday night. Cool vibe. I decided to get a drink also. Drinks are good and great priced. Food looks great Price, but I had already eaten. I’ll definitely try one of the Po boys next time. The bread pudding was great price and its Thick and large quantity. Great value. It taste like a French toast cinnamon roll but not my fav. It has some coconut in it. Decent flavor but too thick/dry/just didn’t hit the taste buds. Not the best bread pudding I’ve ever had, just a lil something-wouldn’t order it again. I strongly dislike the alcoholic sauce that comes with the dessert. It doesn’t taste good, is bitter and I prefer a thin caramel sauce for the bread pudding. The bartender Jordan was very nice and explained to me that I have to order food on the two kiosks then order drinks with her if necessary. She explained the full menu and the different events they have on different days which is loaded. I believe she did wonderful being just one person and making sure I was fully informed of their activities making me really want to come back to one event. It sounds like they have a good time here. I see from previous reviews that the place looked different and it looks remodeled here. I’ll update the review when I order food on the next time.

The first time I gave it a try I waited 30 mins for Gumbo and Boudin balls. Somehow they had lost my order ticket or something so I got a refund because I couldn’t wait anymore. Here it is two months later, I try them again. I am disappointed. I get all the way back home and my gumbo is mostly just rice and the little I tried was not good at all which I was shocked because the po boy and the boudin balls were okay. I tried calling but couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Money down the drain.

Google
My visit to JustLoafinPoBoys left me with mixed feelings, and I'd rate it as a 3-star experience. While the establishment had potential, there were some areas that left me underwhelmed. Firstly, I was hoping for a true taste of Louisiana with their snowballs, but they felt more like sno cones, lacking that authentic Louisiana snowball texture and flavor. The Poboys, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark either. They were just okay, and the fried seafood left me with the impression that the grease needed a change. This detracted from the overall quality of the meal. Moreover, the cleanliness of the restroom left much to be desired. Attention to detail in this area is essential for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, my visit was just okay, and I felt that it didn't truly capture the rich flavors of Louisiana cuisine. While it may have potential, there's room for improvement in various aspects to make it a more satisfying dining destination. ⭐⭐⭐

Food good. Cooked fresh. Mardi Gras music playing. Clean area to eat. New wood floors. It have improved greatly over the years. The best poyboys ever. Closed on Sunday and Monday. It's handicap accessible.

Horrible!!! I wanted to try this place for a while, and finally made it, only to be disgusted. The customer service was lacking. These people gave me a po boy on bread that was old, and so hard and stale that I could squeeze it in my hand and crumble it into a million little pieces. I couldn’t even eat it. I was left with 2 thin catfish filets. I hate when restaurants use that skinny catfish. Once you batter and fry it the fish is nonexistent, and you can’t really taste the fish, bc it’s not thick enough to stand up against the batter. The food was gross, overpriced, and tasted terribble . Everything was salty. They were stingy with the dressing. They gave me 1 slice of tomato, 2 slices of pickles and a little lettuce for a whole po boy. The flavors weren’t varied or balanced. It was all one note and that note was salty. They need to quit! Never again.

Google
So Instagram brought me to this place. And for the money I spent I expected a lot more. The bartenders were very nice. But we weren't greeted until we greeted them first. The virtual ordering system is a good concept, but it does not differentiate between appetizers and your main meal. All of my food came out but most of it was luke warm/cold. The flavor was OK but the temperature took away from the experience. I was told there was a new cook in the back but management should have prepared for it. The front of the house needs to communicate with the cook to let them know the appetizers first. The bartenders were apologetic and accommodating for the food. The daquri was the highlight of the day. So in short if you want a drink try this place but beware of the food. Please review pictures.

I have supported this business over the past couple years. As any restaurant, there have been some situations that were addressed and moving forward would hopefully improve. However, the recent customer service by the owner, Darren Williams, has really put a black cloud on this establishment. I placed an online order, as recommended by the establishment, on June 17, 2025 during business hours. My account was immediately drafted for my order. At no point was anything mentioned on the website nor restaurant, when I arrived, that the business was closed or hours had changed. But to my suprise, the restaurant was closed. I did call and leave a message requesting a refund for my order and NEVER got a return call. Over the next couple days I called several times to try and reach someone and couldn't. I finally drove to the restaurant, 371 Boulevard SE, Atlanta location on June 22, 2025 and they were open, I spoke to a worker, explained what had happen and she directed me to the owner. I cakked and spoke with the owner. He asked for me to send him the receipt, proof of payment and he would refund my payment as soon as he stopped driving. Darren Williams, owner, responded to my text on the next day, confirming that he'd take care of it. Well, it never happened. I have called, left vmails and texted Darren several times and he has not returned any communication nor refunded my order as he said he would. This is a shame that this has come to this, but this matter will, seemingly, have to be escalated to get resolved. I HIGHLY recommend to everyone to ONLY patronize this business by placing your order on-site. However, because of this matter, they have lost a faithful customer and have left me no other choice of resolving this matter by escalating this legally.

Yelp
I found this place as a foodtruck outside a Marriott while walking through the city. I made sure to go that route every week based on what the operator told me was their schedule. Eventually I was no longer working in the area and decided to look them up online and see if I can get their schedule. THEY HAVE A BRICK STORE! What a great discovery! Sure, I could have known that probably a year earlier, but at least now I know. Sadly it is not near me, but at least once a month I will drive an hour to get these po-boys. They have the best po-boys I have found in the Atlanta area. They are as close to what I had in Orleans as I find here. If I had the money, I would open a store at my neighbors house so I could eat one every day :)

Yelp
Being from Louisiana, I'm super leary about trying "New Orleans" and Creole/Cajun labeled restaurants. However, with a being a really chilly evening and wanting some gumbo, I decided to try it out. I've only been to one Crawfish boil this season and, seeing that they offered a 2-lb boil I went ahead and ordered it. Also order a small cup of gumbo. I am happy that the crawfish came with one corn, one potato and two links of andouille sausage. Some places don't offer those three items with their seafood boils. I guess I'm more so happy it came with those three things because that's all I really ate. The crawfish had zero taste and seasoning. Also, they were really tiny and overcooked. The gumbo also tasted like water. Usually, a gumbo gets better the longer it sits. Therefore by the end of the evening, the gumbo should have thick and flavorful. Instead it was watery and bland. Luckily I had a little bit of gumbo file to add some taste to it. I also prefer a darker colored gumbo but, that's preference. If I ever go back I guess it would just be to get a fried item.

Yelp
So on Saturday. I ordered from their website. It told me to pick up at the Boulevard location. I get there and the door is locked and it says "Closed. Visit our location in EAV." I wait a few minutes to see if somebody is just on break and locked the door. I call the number to the location and nobody answers. Then I call the EAV number and tell them what happened. I wait on hold for 10 min and the woman who helped me was very nice and says "I'm sorry. You can pick up your order here. Let me get the manager on the phone to take it so it's ready when you get here bc we have different systems." Manager gets on the phone and refuses to take the order. Says I can just cancel it and drive over here and start over. THERES NO WAY TO CANCEL THE ORDER ON THEIR WEBSITE and at this point I ordered the food close to an hour before. I explain that to him. Dude says "I don't care. I don't take orders over the phone." I finally just lose my patience and hang up. It was so ridiculous and just such a mind blowing way to handle an easily fixable problem. Dude was straight rude for no reason. Id been eating Just Loaf'n since they had the place with the drive through on Boulevard. I guess I'll just contest the charge on my credit card.

Yelp
I went here on 1/28/2024. I have not been in a minute. When I came here for the first time years ago! The sandwich let me know what a shrimp poboy is supposed to be! The poboy set the standard for a shrimp poboy! I took one of my best friends here for a shrimp poboy and he couldn't stop talking about the mumbo sauce! The gator bites are delicious! I got them for the first time today. Gator bites are up there with Pappaduexs.Flavorful and tasty. I also got a soft shell crab poboy! Fries came with my poboy for the side! Jus loafn is the spot because I know of 6 other places I can get a poboy but all of them fall short with putting sauce or spread on the bread! They have the authentic French Leidenheimer Bread for the poboys! They also have a food truck and are opening a new location in East Atlanta Village 512 Flat Shoals Ave! Other places have everything on their poboys except for the sauce! Here they put mayo and sauce is boss! No dry poboy!

Yelp
I ordered a fried chicken basket which was $20 after tax. After waiting 30 minutes I received what it looked like was scraps from their fryer bin, and a portion befitting of a kids meal. I would have requested a refund but they were short staffed and it was hard to get anyone's attention to get any help. All in all a disappointing experience, and I would definitely not visit again.

Yelp
The Sandwich was good but the portion size was too small. When is an 8-inch sandwich considered a whole sandwich? Glad I didn't get the half.
google avatar

Tracey L.

Yelp
Terrible. The po boy bread was so old and stale that it literally disintegrated into crumbs in my hands. The catfish was salty, overcooked, and had way too much batter. They need to close down! They're done!

Yelp
New East Atlanta Location Consider a more New Orleans vibe soundtrack (jazz, zydeco) Consider moving hookah to outside

Yelp
The food was good but not good enough to return. The service after making a mistake isn't the greatest. I ordered a po boy and my husband ordered a boil. The fries were undercooked and my sandwich had Mayo which I requested not to have. The lady at the counter had the gentleman (presumably the owner) remake the food. 10 minutes later the food came out and was hot. However my fries were not replaced. I guess it's ok to make a mistake, not apologize, and presume the customer should eat cold fries. I didn't like the lack of concern for the customer experience. I won't return. As I said, the food is good, but you need more than that during these times.

Yelp
Disputed my charges and was made whole by my bank. I will NEVER come back to this establishment. I urge anyone who is considering visiting, to be wary.

Yelp
The service was good, but I likely wouldn't go back for several reasons. The place had a really odd, not restaurant like smell that was very off putting. I ordered a combo shrimp and oyster po boy fully dressed with seasoned fries. The sandwich was not balanced with one side having the shrimp and the other half the oysters. Also that and the fries were really salty. The fries were also soggy and sad. Overall it was an underwhelming experience.

Yelp
Had a chance to try this place in Atlanta at Skills. Had the shrimp Poboy. The shrimp was cooked just right. The flavor was great. The mambo sauce was a nice kick. The line was super long but they got the food out quick. I was disappointed that I didn't get to try the hush puppies that I ordered instead of fries. I didn't want to make a fuss with the amount of customers left and with it being so close to closing of our event. But maybe next year when I'm in the south again. I'll get my beloved hush puppies. OAN: The fries were still good and hot and fresh and had great seasoning.

Yelp
Being from Louisiana I must say the food was definitely good. I order the shrimp poboy which was delicious. Now sayin that y'all kno when we get food from home u get much more than that for the price point other than that no complaints

Deja L.

Yelp
First off you can smell the food over the gas at the Chevron so let that sink in... the food taste authentic and the service is friendly. My home girl told me about a place that has Creole food& serves vegan dishes. When I say I'm so glad everything else was closed & we pulled up here. Jordan recommended me the whole Po-boys shrimp sandwich. When I seen it I didn't know why because it's a foot long but when I tasted I realized she knew the food would go by fast. Paris made my Po-boy & completely filled the sandwich with shrimp and the works. The mambo sauce was buss down & is complimentary on the sandwich. My shrimp & green fried tomatoes still crunchy & we've been chatting bout 45 minutes fasure ! Yes I'm still here doing my review & eating & can't wait till the new one comes in East Atlanta village because it's pose to have daiquiri bar & allat

Yelp
Second time is a winner. Stopped here about 5 years ago and it was just an okay experience. Decided to give it another try for lunch after a day of errands. Small spot next to gas station right next to I-20 so go on get off quickly. Walked in and cashier promptly took our our. We decided on an oyster po-boy which was filled with delish oysters, red beans and rice, the fish and shrimp platter that came with Cole slaw and finally bread pudding with a whiskey glaze. We had some leftovers for my son and he enjoyed it. The bread pudding alone was okay however once the sauce hit it, something different happened with the tastebuds and they danced. The only take away was that they only had enough oysters for one sandwich. It's a cool lunch spot and we'll return soon.

Letarius H.

Yelp
Was considering to eat here, but horrible customer service. Not one word was spoken. Just nods and blank stares. Not even a "hey how you doing". The audacity for a business to treat the CUSTOMERS like you need them. Total opposite of what you think a Louisiana experience would be.
google avatar

Tesha P.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I struggled between a 3 and a 4 star rating. Here's why... there were 2 of us ordering and we both wanted oysters; me an oyster poboy and her a half and half platter with fried oysters. The cook told us he didn't have enough oysters for both. Fine. -1 star. We had the red beans/rice and dirty rice as sides. They were very bland and not at all Cajun tasting like I expected. -1 star Now the great... the lady taking orders. She was friendly and accommodating with everyone who came in. The oyster po boy was one of the best I've ever had. It's also worth mentioning that after our meal, I took a shrimp and a catfish po boy home to my children and they both raved about them. Despite the -2 stars, I ended up giving it a 4 star due to the bread pudding. I was a little skeptical because it had coconut. I'm not a fan of it and I've never had it in bread pudding. But the bourbon sauce that goes on top was so good I forgot all about the coconut. I will definitely return...

Yelp
Updating my review to sadly report this place has gone downhill. Was running around doing errands today, so I called the store to place a togo order. She tells me she's not taking phone orders and that I'll either have to place my order online or come into the store to use the kiosk. I park my car, try placing my order online, and it says that something went wrong and it is unable to place the order. Get to the store 10 mins later, place my order in the kiosk, ask the lady how long, and she tells me 15 mins - time that I could have used doing errands. I put in my phone number for a text when it's ready. I leave to go finish running some errands since I live close. 20 mins later, I walk into the store and the same girl says nothing to me, grabs my bag, and hands it to me. Not a word from her. No text from the magic kiosk, nothing... The fries were cold, there were pickles on the sandwich even though I put into the kiosk no pickles or tomatoes. The chicken tenders are dry and you can look at the picture to see the small mess I received for $14. This is not how this place used to be. Cold, uncaring service with smaller portions of food (that used to be delicious) for the same price. Very dissatisfied.

Yelp
Really good alligator bite po boy. I would come here all the time if I could afford it. Prices are a little too high for what is designed to be a quick cheap sandwich.

Trina J.

Yelp
I ate here for lunch and Just Loaf'n did not disappoint. It's a cute little spot with friendly staff and a New Orleans vibe all around. I ordered the 1/2 shrimp Po-boy dressed, fries, and a snowball. I did find it a bit pricey, but since everything tasted deliciously authentic (I'm from NOLA) and generally good, I'll say the price was well worth it. I appreciate the variety of New Orleans staples available to choose from. I would definitely recommend Just Loaf'n, just don't forget your wallet. Trina

Yelp
Well well well. It has been a while since my last review and for that my fellow yelpers I am sorry. Life took over. But I am striving to get back into my groove so Here. We. Go! First- i came to this venue near my job out of hunger and not wanting to sit in traffic for an hour. I figured why not?! I had BIG expectations but something really turned me off. Cleanliness!!! Tables and booths dirty. The floor.... reminiscent of something from a Freddy Kruger movie. Sticky stuff, dirt, it needs bleach! This location needs a bleach makeover! FAST! Second- i ordered a shrimp and crab leg bag with potatoes, corn, sausage. They were out. So I got shrimp. For the price I expected a bG of steamed goodness dripping in buttery spicy sauce... i got punked! A styrofoam container with maybe 8 baby shrimp and a sausage piece. What? Third- i inhaled it. It was tasty... but dang it. I was food teased. Dessert. I ordered bread pudding. You know why the word dessert has 2 s'? Because you want 2 desserts. It was my highlight. I want to come again to try other items but Im scared. Please clean your store. You pay people to work. Not sit on their butts and skype and text. Im jus sayin.

Yelp
My first time getting to taste their shrimp Po-boy was at this past weekend's "One Music Fest"! I was not disappointed at all! Overstuffed with well seasoned shrimp and an amazing "mamba" sauce. They also had an amazing "seafood platter" (catfish, chicken and shrimp with fries and (2) hush puppies) for $20 that my friend got, both days of the festival!! Every time I try to get here, I'm either too out the way or they're closed. This was from the food truck and for it to be a festival the service was great! I would definitely return.

Christie H.

Yelp
We were so excited to try this restaurant but left hungry and very disappointed. If I could leave zero stars, I would have. We had to wait a long time to order and then we found out they were out of multiple items. The final straw was when we noticed that they were attempting to charge us significantly more than the prices on their menu. The plate was 18 on the menu and they were attempting to charge us 24. I pointed out the discrepancy and was told because of inflation, they raised their prices. They refused to honor the prices that were clearly labeled on the electronic menu board.

Yelp
Food is a 4-5. Service is a 2-3. Cleanliness is a 1. I went for the second time today. The poboy and red beans & rice was outstanding. The person at the register was not rude but very indifferent. The AC was not working and every table was dirty. Quite honestly I was not expecting a lot. Will go back in a few months.

Yelp
This has to be the lowest rating I've ever given. I'm so disappointed in this place. I saw all of the negative reviews and purposely came so I could get their ratings up. I only wanted snowballs....how could you go wrong with that? We normally go to Big Easy Snowballs but when I saw this place was in my neighborhood I wanted to support. I called to make sure they had them bc I didn't want to get my mouth all ready and they didn't have any as there's not many reviews mentioning snowballs. Anyway I get there a little before 7 and the young lady opening the door let's me know they are closed. I guess I look confused cause she then tells me go in and talk to the lady at the counter. I go in and am told first they are short staffed but then that they were slow so they closed early. Online everything says they close at 8. I let her know I only wanted snowballs but her response was I'm sorry I already counted my register. Was she rude? No not at all she said it as nice as can be. However, she could have done the right thing by the customer and made the snowballs. Sorry goes a long way but not when you can easily do something but choose not to do it. So back to Big Easy Snowballs I go.

Yelp
IF YOU HAVEN'T ATE HERE, YOU AREN'T LIVING! I have a lot to say that y'all wanna read lol. So I convinced my party to give his place a shot...I had a good feeling about it despite a few negative reviews and the appearance. Our party of four entered the restaurant and there was only one employee. I was a lil nervous and wondered if Nikki could handle such pressure, but sus showed out. Nikki was the cashier, cook, and server-all of which she did better than any place I've been to. She made us feel welcomed, and even if she would've been rude, I was gonna come back because the food was THAT GOOD! I forgot to get pictures of everything, but between the four of us we had a lot lol. My boyfriend had the fried seafood platter (catfish, oysters, hushpuppies, shrimp, rice and beans, coleslaw, and hushpuppies), I had eight hot wings, fries, the seafood boil (shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage), and Keith had Cajun BBQ wings, a shrimp po'boy, and fries. Oh and Julian had a blue raspberry snowball. MAAAAAAN this food was to die for! No one complained and we didn't have to add anything! PURE PERFECTION! No ketchup, hot sauce, salt, pepper, or anything was needed! Stop selling yourself short and give this place a try! If you love your spouse, mother, child, grandma, or yourself, prove it by taking them here! This place was heaven and love on earth! YUM! And to the owners, give Nikki a raise, promotion, her own store, or something! Lol she was that good

Yelp
Jumping right in to the reason behind the three starts, As a chef there is a list of Do's and Don'ts in the restaurant industry and the biggest DON'T is sacrificing quality for quantity. What I mean specifically is this location I come to often, I've eaten here at least 3 times and the experience is always very delicious. This latest time I ordered the side gumbo, the catfish and shrimp Poboys and red skin potatoes. My gumbo was clearly watered down to stretch it through the night , I'm very sure, but what this does is now show inconsistency and lack of integrity for quality food. The staff are very friendly and parking is shared between a gas station. The prices are reasonable. A three star might sound slightly harsh of a rating for highly watered down gumbo but in actuality is for the fact this restaurant is cutting corners. No Bueno!

Yelp
The Po'boys at Just Loaf'n are excellent! I bought 4 to share with family that is visiting from out of town and they loved it!! The decor has tons of influence from Mardi Gras, and some New Orleans grocery staples are on display for purchase as well. The menus are on large screens and are very easy to read. They also accept online orders from the most popular services for inside pickup, or you can sit and eat inside the establishment Great place for a midweek lunch or to order a po'boy & fries to go

Yelp
I was so happy with my choice to grab lunch from Just Loaf'N. We got the shrimp po boys with fries, red beans and rice, and gumbo- all of which were really great. The service was also phenomenal. Jordan was so kind and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The staff was so nice and helpful on top of good food! I loved the variety of different entrees that they had as well as the vibe that it was giving. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
NOLA native here. This place is legit Cajun. No - it's not about fast service or fancy digs. It's about the po'boys, beignets, & snoballs. The fact that it's a hole in the wall adds to it. Go to NOLA, best food is from a place like this in a shopping center. I typically get a Catfish poboy. In the summers, I get a snoball with it. My wife, an Atlanta notice followed on our first meal from Just Loaf'N with a trip to NOLA. Next thing you know, we planned a wedding there. The path to 'I do' started in part, with Po'Boys from Just Loaf'N.

Yelp
so my girl just got a stomach bug from you guys and it's started with her vomiting and popping more vomit more poop. she said the food didn't taste right when she ordered it but she was hungry and if your in Ga ofc your going to want a good nice hot meal she kept eating and then the aftermath is like a half time on as we speak she wants to cuddle I'm going to cuddle and sleep with my poor sick little baby I hope this doesn't happen again

Yelp
Found this place by accident and enjoy it once in awhile especially when it's hot outside because they have snow balls. The snow balls are light and powdery there are about 48 flavors to choose from good luck trying just one. Just Loaf'n stays busy with all of the take out orders with things like po boys, muffelatta's roast beef sandwiches they will even make 1/2 &1/2's. Wings, fish combos, fried turkey legs, gumbo it comes in thee different sizes for $3.- $10.95 yes it is homemade and plenty of sides to choose from. Zapp's is the the chip of choice here there is even a food truck and for those of you who are into football what could be a fun road trip to NOLA for the game in September is being planned.

Yelp
Just tried this place for the first time. I had a Cajun shrimp wrap with fries. It was okay, the red beans and rice tasted a little watery and bland but the fried shrimp was good. The fries were really good, they had a sweet after taste. I'd probably come again and try something else. My boyfriend really liked the shrimp poboy!

Yelp
Had the Soft Shell Crab Po' boy. It was good until I got to the middle. Noticed that the carapace (back) was still on and the insides were not removed! So I would've been eating dead man's fingers (gills), poop, and other unwanted innards if I didn't look. But I'm willing to try something different next time. Hopefully the shrimp is deveined. Nawlin's Fries were good though.

Yelp
This is the best PoBoy I've had in a long time. Even when I'm in New Orleans I hv a hard time finding the flavor at Just Loaf'N.

Yelp
They had a truck set up at our office for lunch. The hour wait was worth it. Deliciously crispy seasoned shrimp with a sauce to die for. Wish I got more than two hushpuppies but it was a lot of food! Nice sized shrimp and fries coated in Cajun spices. I'd recommend!

Yelp
Main this Poboy was HITTIN! Mambo sauce packed with flavor and it didnt take long to come out. The jambalaya was pretty decent had good amounts of chicken and sausage in it. But the bread on the po boy to match the perfectly seasoned jumbo shrimp. Phenomenal. I would probably surprised at the actual size of the trip and the amount that they gave me that was good I probably will order just the shrimp next time

Yelp
I just ordered through Uber Eats and did not receive my seafood platter. I knew as soon as I saw the bag that something was wrong. Both the restaurant and driver should have realized that there was an entire entree missing.

Yelp
The catfish plate is delicious! Love the touch of Cajun seasoning in the batter. Best food I've had at a food truck.

Yelp
Got a shrimp poboy and beignets both were SO delicious and authentic. Do not sleep on this place, the real deal!

Yelp
Now these people advertise snow cones so I was assuming anybody working would know how to prepare them. Chile the lady (light skin had a pony tail) asking me where the condensed milk goes. I've been to other New Orleans spits and never even asked that question!! Then the PoBoy and Gumbo was nasty and rushed. Never again

Yelp
So the food truck came to my neighborhood today and oh my goodness! Seriously, the shrimp po boy was the best I've ever had and I've had several! Good portions, perfect seasoning, and very flavorful!!! The beignets are also really good! I have found my new spot for po' boys!!!

Yelp
O, I wanted to love this place. I moved here a year ago from Louisiana where I was born and raised. I stumbled upon this restaurant reading an article about black owned business and thought let me drive to Marietta. I'm always on the lookout for food that reminds me of home because y'all there's nothing like some good Louisiana food that someone put their foot in! Just Loaf'N was a huge disappointment. The Marietta location is located in a building with a bunch of other restaurants, think mall food court without the mall part. Upon walking up there were a few people waiting in line for their food, so I figured this had to be good. The lady at the counter was friendly and greeted us, the only positive about the whole experience. So, my boyfriend ordered a whole gator poboy with their version of cajun fries, I ordered the hot sausage poboy with jambalaya(which they didn't have,so i got dirty rice)and I ordered a small gumbo. It came out to be $36.57 which I don't mind for good food. The food took quite a bit of time to come out, but my mouth was ready and waiting. The boyfriend and I raced back to the car, hit the sanitizer and dug in. He grabbed his fries first which seemed like they had been sitting there all day, they had seasoning on them, but you could not taste it at all, they were basically bland French fries that you can get out the freezer section at Walmart. Next, I popped open my dirty rice and the taste was decent and familiar? My roommate use to make that Zatarian's box dirty rice mix because she just wasn't about the cooking life and ill be that's the familiar taste, strike 2. Strike 3, is something that gets under my skin. I never want anyone that has never tasted gumbo to mistake the gumbo that was served here for something authentic. I opened up the gumbo and I just knew it was going be a bad day. I took the first bite and all I could taste was what I call season water. There is no way anyone taste that gumbo before they served it, it was disgusting. It took everything in me not to march back in and take their Louisiana card away. Now, let's talk poboys. My boyfriend had the whole gator poboy, it was hot, nothing special about the taste, and he enjoyed the bread. My whole hot sausage poboy was ok. The only reason this place gets two stars is because the bread was tasty. My sausage was overcooked, dry, and lacked flavor. I can't go back here, unless there are some major changes that take place. I wasn't upset that I almost spent $40 on food, I was upset because I spent that much on food that has no love cooked with it. To the owner, you still have time to make this right. Quality food is important.

Yelp
Waited about 25 minutes and paid 10 dollars for a sandwich much smaller than advertised, with a side of lukewarm red beans and rice. Really disappointed. being a college student with a strict budget, I rarely get to "splurge" on a 10 dollar meal. Had such high hopes for this place too :,( Customer service wasn't bad though.

Yelp
We got delivery from here tonight and everything was EXCELLENT. We shared a roast beef poboy and soft shell crab poboy with jambalaya and fries as our sides. Next time I want to order a giant bowl of jambalaya, it was delicious! Both poboys were fantastic as well. Can't wait to order again soon and try some different things!
