Great store. Nasty sales representative and because of that I won’t be going back nor do I recommend.

I rarely write reviews but just flat out disappointed with the customer service and return process. Website states the incorrect process for returns. After sending return back it took several e-mails to get my refund back after they claimed they did not receive the package. Took a total of 2 months for this process. A luxury store should do better.

Doesn’t get better than Just One Eye! The most luxurious, art-centric retail store in Los Angeles. The team that works there are so friendly, helpful and very warm and welcoming. The space looks like a modern gallery with some of the the most iconic contemporary works. JOE is great if you’re running in for a fab gift or picking up a treat for yourself.

What a gorgeous store! My biggest highlight was JOHN. What an absolutely amazing person. I entered the store after flying in from the East Coast. John made my entire experience unforgettable. I cannot wait to come back and see him & the store again! Thank you so much!

I've been a fan and frequenter of this store since they opened in 2011 on Romain in their first location. The way that the collections (clothing, art, jewelry, home decor, etc) are curated makes this place feel completely unique and special. One thing I love about this place is that even though they stock BIG TICKET items, there are never any Vivian Ward on Rodeo Drive moments. I never get bad or judgmental vibes here. This is a go to place if you are looking for a gift and you want to splurge a little. I've gotten some great home decor and coffee table books here over the years. LA is cooler because this place is in it.

Totally get barreled here. Beautiful, one of a kind pieces are to be found here. Nothing is average.

Beautiful new space. Would love to see some more beauty options and an expanded curiosity selection. Has the potential to be a great store to pick up gifts and for clothes during their sales.

Came here to view Margot Robbie's Barbie looks. Immediately, the vibe felt off because the doors were locked and you had to knock knock to get in. Once inside, the displays were beautiful, but the overall feel was a little hostile, and it seemed like the staff were just watching everyone's every move. I wish the looks had been in a museum instead because I genuinely could not relax in the store. And everything for purchase was well beyond my means so while it was all very beautiful, I wouldn't come back unless there was another mini exhibition like this.

Word of advice... DO NOT shop via online. Ordered a pair of shoes and after the item not working out I went to go return. The website states the customer is responsible for shipping it back and then notifying them via e-mail. I go through the process only to be told they would have provided a shipping label. Then they receive the item and they claim it was never received. It took several e-mails to get my refund back after they claimed they did not receive the package. Took a total of 2 months for this process. A luxury boutique should do better with returns.

This place legit made me have an aggressive pretty woman moment. Lovely place BUT the people I could do without. Granted, I came in bum casual attire but like YOU DON'TKNOW ME! After leaving, I saged myself and I casually called my personal shopper and spent a butt load - why?!? Absolutely no reason and that is why I bumped another star down! They forced me to emotionally become unhinged and shop!!! For shame! 2 stars because the store was lovely and I felt like it would be safe during an apocalypse with those doors ... yes, my mind went there.

Excellent store but to call it a store is a disservice. Just One Eye is a temple that celebrates art and the finer things in life. The massive 'Cherry Blossoms' Hirst paintings are enough to stall you in your tracks. The fine selection of fashion, books, jewelry is heaven bliss. Worth a visit for the eyes.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The selection is always the best of the season and they have things that you will not find anywhere else. I highly recommend this store

Beautiful on point merchandise. The visual merchandising as well as the curation of the pieces are elevated. Just One Eye carries more runway pieces so the items are unique and harder to find when comparing to other retailers. Compared to Dover Street Market and H.Lorenzo, Just One Eye seems to be the best, but the priciest also. Budget wise I would say to allocate $400-$8000 for one item depending on brand and season. The majority of artwork is on 2nd floor with a few sculptures and paintings on the first floor with the clothes. The salon is in the back.

The new store is beautiful, even though a bit cold and predictable in design. The merchandise is not impressive and doesn't have any authentic, interesting point of view. Sales people, nice and kind of indifferent, but maybe that their vibe. The worsts part, is completely snobby and incompetent manager on duty. I understand some sales associates not knowing the art on their walls, but for a senior manager not to be able to speak, name or even engage in the conversation about art pieces that are on display...horrible attitude to hide their incompetence...the store is a nice concept, but it fails to deliver in atmosphere, professionalism and passion. This is the reason, people gravitate to shop online. I'd never give them business, unfortunately.

always worth a look, maybe a splurge here and there. im always surprised by something when I come here. frequently I find myself obsessing over something I saw there until I break and come back to buy it. that being said, I don't know why they moved. the old location had cachet, it felt like an exclusive secret going there. now it's just another store a block away from target. ill still go back, but something died in me when I saw the new location. it's just so pedestrian.

Beware! Do not buy from this store. On the phone the salesperson told me I needed a small in a short. It was sent to me. She assured me a free shipping label would be included in package. It wasn't. Wanted to exchange it for a medium. She said she was sending me a shipping label. Never sent it. Calling 5X and they still didn't send it to me. Terrible service. Over the top prices for last year or several years old items.

Okay, so I don't know really how to star this place because there are so many different ways to approach it. Honestly, I feel like people who would shop here are not going to Yelp to assess it. But, I couldn't help myself because it is quite possibly my weirdest experience of a store ever. On point style and brands / General weirdness and curiosity: 5 stars The moment you walk in you know that you are in a "seriously cool place". This is a place that people in the know go to impress upon themselves that they are cool. It is by far one of the most LA places I have ever been. It is owned by Paula Russo, the old fashion director of Maxfield if that helps to place the style for you. It is has an amazing amount of hip-girl jewelry, which was probably my favorite part. It is the epitome of a curated space. Everything about it seems to be the height of intentionality. I recommend going if only to just experience its aggregation of interesting things. If you like Dover Street Market, Collette, 10 Corso Como, then you should definitely make a stop here. Prices: 0 stars - Like seriously insane Okay this place is hilarious on pricing. Like 30k markup hilarious. I loved the mosaic table in their main showroom and asked about the designer. I then started to do some research. That table is listed as $32,500 on their website. I was like okay, fair enough. Then I found the EXACT SAME table on live auction for $2,750. It seems that Just One Eye bought this table and then was like "these rich Hollywood people don't understand what Google is; let's mark it up by a billion percent." Go to the actual artist, Massimiliano Beltrame who lives in SF and get it custom made. It was a serious LOL moment. All of their stuff that isn't a fixed MSPR is like that. I know that Just One Eye is currently famous for the 55k backpack, but honestly that isn't off-putting to me because it is a collab with Damien Hirst and to be expected. There is a difference between selling high end products/art and just making markups that are aimed at people with more money than sense. They have a Sterling Ruby painting that is to die for (recall his art in Dior and I?). The Murakami in the men's dressing room is not to be missed. That being said, it is a bit flat on taste as a collection. It is the stereotypical stable of art that you see from people who have a bunch of money and want to park it somewhere. Like it hits each of the bullet points, but it is not discerning, surprising or interesting. Honestly, if you told me their curator is Kanye I would believe it. But, as someone who loves stores like Collette in Paris, I feel like I need a bit more from a collection than a splash of wealth. Staff: 2 stars They are nice in a sort of hipster-ly inattentive manner that I enjoy because then I don't have to deal with them. That being said, when I did have questions for the saleswoman literally knew nothing. Like absolutely nothing. I had some questions about the art, and she knew none of the artists at all. Like how do you work around a bunch of multi-million dollar art that is the foundation of this concept store and not know a single of the artists. Well, you say, they don't sell the art, so maybe she focuses on the stuff they do sell? Nope. She didn't know any of the jewelry designers either. Selection: 3 stars They have a bunch of cool stuff, but they don't really have various sizing. It seems like a place not to buy thing but to get inspiration. Atmosphere: 4 stars It is in Howard Hughes's old building, and I love the art deco feel of the place. I also sort of love the whole concept of multiple rooms that you float to one by one. It is the opposite of open concept which is sort of refreshing. I hope this is a helpful inaugural review of Just One Eye.

Incompetence at its finest! I'd called ahead to hold a sweater. The rep confirmed they have it and told me to ask for their manager, Charles, when I come. I walked into a huge empty store with 4 reps and 1 stockroom rep. When I told them about the hold, one girl said, "Yeah, Charles was looking for that." Then Charles comes and asks for the name of the sweater (shouldn't he know what he's supposedly been looking for?). He checks the computer and says: "it says we have it, but I can't find it." He asks the stockroom rep to look for it, then walks around the store with another rep, saying, "I haven't seen it in a while. Did we put it in a different place?" He gives up a few minutes later and blames it on "inventory" issues. I told him I'd specifically called for it, to which he said, "Yeah, but the person you talked to didn't physically look for it. She just looked it up in the computer." So we have a manager who's not on top of their inventory, doesn't know the item's on their site (so if someone buys it online, the order will just get cancelled), "has not seen it for a while," doesn't know where things are on the floor and lazy sales reps confirming things that don't exist. On top of this, the place is dead as a doornail, so what do they spend their time doing? Perhaps instead of trying so hard to appeal to the "in the know Hollywood" types, calling the warehouse they operate from a "gallery", they should go back to Business 101 and learn that idiotic clowns aren't usually who you hire to run a business. Shop at your own risk!

This store has gone DOWN HILL! Nothing what it used to be just a few short years ago----I take a trip to LA maybe three times a year. Always always HAD to visit Just One Eye ... Never again ...the store is uncurated, way way overcrowded with merchandise, messy, and now is a is a HOT uninteresting MESS...sadly I'll probably never return:(

I wanted to hate this place because a lot of the things I lust after are out of my price range, but this place is actually really cool. I was a Maxfield girl or else I just waited for a NYC trip to buy cool shit, and I shop at Pixie Market and Nasty Gal online too. Yes, you can find some of the brands they sell at other places, but the selection here is super well edited and on point. I overheard one of the salespeople as he helped Kylie Jenner's stylist, and he was just as cool and treated me with as much respect as he did her, which I appreciated. The art, furniture, and just-off-the-path location add to the special feel of the place. It does feel exclusive, but not in an arrogant or excluding sense, if you know what I mean. It's just so uniquely LA in the best way.

My wife read it was a very upscale shop in the old Howard Hughes studio building, so we went to check it out and do some good shopping. We got there and you get this feeling of a place that wants to be super-upscale but... just wanna be.... We got this salesclerk that never left us alone, not even a second to enjoy to browse around. She questioned us any second on how we got to know the place, where we were from, why we went there, which kind of persons we were.... mannn.... what about minding your own business, ehh!?!. She even got so far to tell my wife they would rather people not to know about it as if this makes it more exclusive, just for very cool people. And by the way, not that you find anything fancy or really cool in this store. Just clothes and other junk you can find in thousands of other stores around. Really cool clothes, shoes and jewelry are in really cool shops.... and this is very far from them!! Don't waste a second of your time around this trap. By the way, I would not be surprised if this place is gone in less than six months!! Che schifo!!

Amazing. That's all I can say. The second I walked into the store I felt like I was instantly apart of some cool exclusive family. They treated everyone with the exact same respect as there were about 4 or 5 different people in the store. The staff was absolutely beautiful, like something you'd expect to see in a movie or something, and the clothing, artwork, and furniture were something even the elite could only dream of. Any question I had, and size I needed were so gracefully brought into consideration. This place is magnificent and I will definitely be visiting every time I come to LA.
