Office lunch, my order was rainbow roll, half salad and half brown rice, it was plain at first than my coworker gave me his green sauce, not sure what is but it did make my bowl better. The fish tasted fresh, big slices of guacamole, and big scoop of imitation crabs (I think it was imitation). I also got spam Masubi, I was surprised that the spam was not salty which was good. My coworker got a sear scallops, I had a bite, they used medium size scallops and it did not taste fishy. It was tender and not over cooked.

The price is fantastic. The Food is fresh and tastes great. We can only recommend.

Just Poke in Issaquah (by REI) is one of our favorite lunch spots! My wife and I meet here often, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The service is great, and I love that you can add extras if you’re feeling a little hungrier and want to make a bigger meal. We always go for The Big Island Bowl, and it never disappoints—freaking delicious every time! If you’re into poke bowls or just want a fresh, satisfying meal, I’d highly recommend stopping by. It’s always a great choice!

Google
What a great place to come and get Poke. Ample parking ( free btw ) and also the staff is very friendly also. The fish and seafood here is very fresh when I visit. Also the options that's available is plenty and the sauces ( citrus ponzu mmm ) it's zesty and salty which is perfect for the seafood . The Hawaiian juices that's available here complements the poke perfectly as well.

Personalized Poke Perfection! Poke bowls just the way you like it. Tailor made with top quality ingredients by a friendly and helpful crew. This was my first time here (it won’t be my last though) and the server helping me walked through the selection process and concluded with a delicious meal for me! Thanks, Just Poke, for a stellar lunch!

Google
It was a fantastic food! They don't hold back on giving the protein, toppings, sauce, side dishes. It was just heaven! The spam musuhi could be better but it wasn't bad. All the staff wore a mask, following CDC guidelinea. Definitely will want to come back again!

Google
Walked in here the other day and saw their tuna was gray, and walked right back out the door. Not something you want to see when dealing with raw fish! Just a heads up to everyone ordering online- their food safety rating is “ok” which according to King County food safety guidelines means that they have had SEVERAL unsafe food handling practice over their last inspections. This is the lowest tier they can be before having to be closed down for safety improvements. Buyer beware! 🤢

First time trying this a month ago. Fell in love. I buy from here at least once a week. The food and ingredients are so fresh and delicious. The service is great as well. Definitely a place I will continue coming to on a regular basis

Yelp
Definitely my favorite location. I've been to at least eight different locations, and the Issaquah employees are always the happiest, friendliest, and most generous with their servings. It's consistently a great place to eat. Plus, I haven't had any quality issues like old rice at this location. Everything is perfectly fresh even in the middle of the afternoon.

Amani A.

Yelp
The service at Just Poke is always great. They have a friendly staff and the food is awesome! I love that they have so many choices salmon, tuna, shrimp, etc. My favorite is the shrimp tempura! The restaurant is welcoming and cozy and they play great music.

Scot K.

Yelp
I've passed it multiple times whenever I went to REI or BECU and I finally went to this place for a quick meal. I was greeted as I walked in. I decided on the eel bowl with white rice. It was seasoned well and cooked well keeping it moist and tender. I don't think this restaurant will be in business too long since I was the only one in the restaurant at 6:00 on a Thursday night. Two orders to go were processed during my hour in the place. Here's some negatives about the place: The staff is nice, however they tend to talk really fast. Granted they know the menu and ingredients well, but they need to make sure the customer can understand them. Also, if they are going to use Japanese words, management needs to teach them the correct pronunciation. There were three workers in the restaurant. Two were busy taking care of me and the take out orders. A third worker just kind of hung out by the soup warmer, not doing anything. The chairs were made of metal and was extremely noise whenever I moved it. Wood chairs are just as durable and quieter. Overall it was a decent meal, but not exceptional. Would I eat there again? Yes, but mainly to see if the service level and the food is the same as my first visit.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Just Poke, and it's great to see this business doing well and expanding to other locations throughout the area, including this one in Issaquah where I work at sometimes. So of course when my colleague and I learned that it was International Poke Day, we had to come here for lunch, which was solid. Just Poke in Issaquah is located along Gilman in the shopping complex where REI and Safeway is located. We came here during a weekday for lunch and the place was pretty busy, but the line went by fast, due to the many employees working here. This location had some seating inside, which was spacious enough. As always, I usually build my own bowl and get a large size, which comes with three scoops of protein. Of all the fish, I liked the Hawaiian ahi tuna the best as it was already marinated with the sauce and seasonings. Everything here will be satisfying for any raw fish lover though, and I just love how healthy, fresh and light the poke bowls from Just Poke are. It's great to know there's one in Issaquah where I find myself often.

Gregory B.

Yelp
Really weak on amount of protein you get. Shrimp Tempura add on is one small piece and don't even see the avocado I paid extra for.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Let's face it, this past year has been tough - for sooo many reasons (and way too many to list here). But one of the good things that's happened has been discovering so many wonderful new places for takeout. And one of my faves is Just Poké. In fact, they've pretty much become a weekly habit. First, Just Poké is fresh. I've never had a poke bowl there that didn't taste perfectly fresh. And when you're eating a bowl full of raw fish - well, freshness is pretty important. My fave is the ahi (tuna) and spicy ahi, and my daughter loves their salmon. Next, their selection of toppings, sauces and add-ons is second to none. They're like the Subway of poké! My fave add-ons are the avocado ($1 extra, but it's a generous portion) and the crab salad (no extra charge). I also love their crunchy onion and furikake toppings. And I've never had a sauce there that wasn't delicious. I also need to give a shoutout to their spam musubi...I always order two, because they make a great snack the next day. Recently they also added "torched" (aka seared) options to their menu. I've only tried the torched ahi, but it was quite good. I wish the torched items were available as a regular protein option (along with, say, spicy ahi), but if there's a way to order my bowl with torched as one of my proteins I haven't figured it out yet (at least not using their online ordering). I recently learned this chain in locally-based, which makes me love it even more. Thanks Just Poké for helping me get through 2020 (and beyond) with your delish poké.

Yelp
Craving for Poke bowls and Acai Bowls while in Washington? Just Poke is the place to go! Several varieties of poke available. For the base you can pick white or brown rice as well as salad amongst the many options and toppings galore at no additional cost! Love the spicy crab topping! Their Acai bowls are almost as good as ones found back in Hawaii. We had the OG bowl. I think if they added some other tropical fruit like mango and some drizzle of honey it would be just like the ones I'm used to eating back home in Hawaii. Spam Musubis also available if you are craving those too! The store is tastefully decorated. I would have loved to be able to savor my bowls inside amongst the cute and whimsical decor if not for COVID-19 restrictions.

Ivy W.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing service! Came after a hike, so we were starving, and this place didn't disappoint! They are very generous with their servings and their food is all very fresh. I added salmon and creamy scallops and my sister had 2 servings of ahi tuna. The employees are all very kind and patient as you make your selections. Overall very enjoyable experience! Covid operations: they offer dine-in and take-out. When we came in, there was just one person dining in. All employees are wearing masks!

Naveed N.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with Just Poke! Friendly staff, great fresh fish and toppings, and a decent value! Most recent visits were togo orders (doordash, and takeout) and really enjoyed it.

Nina S.

Yelp
Supporting local restaurants during COVID-19. Ordered for pick-up. Online ordering via Yelp. Process was easy. Ordered 3 regular size build your own. Online ordering runs you through the process Ingredients were fresh. Spicy Ahi Tuna had a pretty good kick to it. Servings are generous. My build your own: Zuchinni noodles, spicy ahi tuna, salmon, cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, tempura crunchy bits with ginger citrus sauce and citruz ponzu sauce (in hind sight, should've stuck with one sauce).

Theresa S.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite. Very fresh fish and great options to add in. I stop by every chance I get. Price point seems right for high quality fish and amount of food you get.

Patrick B.

Yelp
We love poke and have tried just about every place we've discovered. Outside of Hawaii, Just Poke is one of our favorites. There's some real variation between one poke place and the next, but Just Poke found the sweet spot for me with the fresh fish and topping options. Some places it seems you pay a lot and get a smaller bowl, but their pricing seems pretty fair. If you like poke or have just been considering giving it a try, this is a good place to start.

Katherine A.

Yelp
Definitely stop by this place and support your local community. The poke here is fresh, healthy and made to order of your choosing. Give this place a try and create your own poke bowl. It comes in two sizes: Regular with your choice of 2 proteins or 3 proteins for a Large. Unlimited toppings and dressing of your choice. 1) Select your base (sushi rice, brown rice, mixed greens or half rice and half mixed greens). 2) Pick your proteins (shrimps, salmon, tuna, scallops, seared spicy ahi, spicy tuna, tofu, or roasted potatoes). I ordered the mixed greens with salmon and spicy tuna. It was delish!

Huong L.

Yelp
Just Poke have always been my go to place and it never disappointed. It's my first time to the Issaquah location, but the food is still good in quality as other locations and the portions are amazing. I love that their are new proteins and toppings. I got the tuna tataki and the tuna as my protein. As for my toppings and filling, I basically got everything except the ones that costed extra. The amount they put in the bowl is a lot. I definitely got full at the end but did not fill heavy. I guess I haven't had poke in a while but the bowl was very satisfying :)

Nadine W.

Yelp
Ehhh.. it was okay! The staff was definitely unfriendly and made the experience not fun or enjoyable. I hade the spicy ahi and salmon and everything was just bland and lack luster of flavor. The sauces were flavorless- I would not go back there again.

Madison H.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed. I called and asked for extra sauce and the person on the phone was really rude. They ended up drenching my entire meal. Extra sauce doesn't mean soup. Customer service was horrible.

Kimmy L.

Yelp
Issaquah desperately needed a poké place, so I'm glad that Just Poké finally made an appearance! Like most poké places, you get to customize your own bowl or choose one of their bowl creations. They have a LOT of different options so you definitely have a lot of choices and ways of customizing your bowl. Their selection includes: Proteins: salmon, ahi, spicy ahi, seared ahi, tako, and creamy scallops. They have a vegetarian option too. They also have rotating special proteins. Mix-Ins: mango, onion, green onion, sesame seeds, sesame oil, edamame, and jalapeños. Sauces : eel sauce, shoyu, shoyu sesame, Yuzu, volcano, and like 10 other options that I can't remember off the top of my head. Red labeled Toppings (choose 2): cucumber salad, kimchi, spicy crab salad, regular crab salad, seaweed salad, spicy edamame salad, avocado (+$1) Yellow labeled Toppings (choose as many as you want): Mango, watermelon radish, tobiko, cucumber Crunchies: fried onion, wonton chips, furikake, etc. With so many choices, I decided to try a little of basically everything. I got a regular brown rice bowl, creamy scallops, seared ahi, volcano sauce (mix of eel sauce and sriracha), sesame oil, crab salad, cucumber salad, watermelon radish, jalapeños, mango, tobiko, sesame seeds and edamame. It tasted amazing and gave me the heat I was craving! Service was great; They were friendly, efficient and made recommendations throughout the process. Unlike the one in Factoria, this Just Poké also sell açaí bowls which I will hopefully go back for soon. I wish Just Poké had punch cards or some sort of reward program. Otherwise, it was definitely a 5/5 star experience and I look forward to coming back again soon!

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Usually I am so against chains. Except for Chipotle because their food is worth it. Just Poke is another "worth it" chain. The food tastes the same at all the locations. Which is nice because that way I know what to expect. I love a place that let you make a bowl. Hence my love for chipotle. I'm able to put fish and so many fixings on my greens-it's like an upgraded salad! The fish at these places is always so fresh! And the service is fast and friendly. Appreciated! One of our favorite spots!

Tanaya N.

Yelp
First thing that comes to my mind eating here is Healthy and wholesome meal. It is a bit expensive for lunch(comes to about 14-15$) but I dont mind it for some good food. The fish is fresh and they have plenty of toppings to choose from. I love subbing the rice for zucchini noodles (which $1 extra). All their sauces are great and so are the spice options. Love getting a takeout from this place!

Amit D.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious. This is the nearest poke bowl place in my area. I am frequent visitor. Never disappointed me. I enjoyed every meal I got from here. They have really good variety of sauces. They sometimes have special fusion proteins. I always give it a try and they turn out good as well. Very friendly customer service.

Alyssa W.

Yelp
Stopped by here today to check it out. Super clean inside. I ordered the spicy tuna and the dynamite bowls. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh which let's face it is a complete MUST when it comes to eating raw fish. I will definitely be back. The only tip I'd have is to ask for some sauce on the side if you're ordering to go. I have loved to have a little more of the house sauce to pour over everything but that could just be my taste. I'm only give 4/5 stars for two reasons 1)I didn't like that when I went to pay (I used Apple Pay) and it immediately asked me if I wanted to leave a tip (after I'd just paid $26 for two meals) I felt like since the person hardly interacted with me other than to ask "for here or to go" I wasn't going to leave a tip and I also felt like this is fast food food. Why a tip anyhow? Maybe just leave a tip jar so we aren't left feeling like we SHOULD but can if we want. And then 2)when I clicked "no tip" the gal just dropped my food got a bit of an attitude.

Heidi M.

Yelp
Came in during their first week that they opened. So happy to have Poke in Issaquah! Came on a Sunday and it was very crowded! The food was fresh. Lots of options for toppings....They did run out of seared Tuna.....bummer:( Staff was friendly. Prices are on par. I will be back!

Marina D.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't visited this place sooner. That have very yummy vegan options. Everything is fresh, flavorful and healthy for you. The restaurant itself is very clean and just has this good aura about it. Staff are very nice too. I'll be back soon!

Tammy E.

Yelp
I love poke and was excited there was one next to the Target I needed to go to recently. I ordered the regular bowl of mixed greens and scallops with seared ahi. I liked the myriad of toppings and mix-in options they offered - it was neat to see they also do acai bowls. I didn't like the sauces I chose (truffle aioli + spicy aioli) - didn't taste any truffle oil and something about the flavors made me worry it was going to come back up when I bit into a piece of seared ahi with the sauce on it (probably too much mayonaise in the mixture). I also really didn't like the way the seared ahi was cut into huge chunks - probably 2" x 1.5" x 1" chunks that were generous in size but ultimately too difficult to eat the way it was cut with lots of white fascia parts of the fish preventing it from coming apart when eating. This contributed to my gagging a bit while trying to eat as the fish would not come apart and I was left feeling like a cat trying to eat this mostly raw (not seared enough) fish by mashing up what I could in my mouth before pulling it out with my hand and putting it in the trash, sadly. The scallops were fine but again with the overly mayo-heavy aiolis my tummy was not too happy after finishing my bowl. I would have tossed it midway through but it was kind of pricey and I felt bad wasting food.

Yelp
Two friends and I came here for lunch on a Thursday in October 2018. This location seemed pretty new, and looked clean and nicely-decorated. One of my friends and I had previously been to the Just Poké location in Kirkland, while my 3rd friend had never had poké before. The staff were all very patient with us, including the girl who was serving my newbie friend; she was great about describing things he was unfamiliar with. I got a create-your-own bowl, regular-size, with sushi rice, salmon, and spicy tuna. I really liked how many toppings/sides you could get without being upcharged, including fruit, seaweed salad, and crab salad. The fish tasted fresh and the bowls were very colorful and packed. Unlike the Kirkland location, this location did not do miso soup. It looks like they used to serve ice cream, based on some of the pictures in their slideshow, but when we asked, they said they'd discontinued those in favor of açai bowls. We had our bowls to stay; there was free orange-infused water and a good amount of seating. It wasn't terribly busy when we were there; I think only 1 or 2 other customers came in the whole time we were there. One of my friends spilled a cup of water all over the table and the staff were good-natured about it and offered to clean it up. Overall, a nice place to get poké if you're in Issaquah.

Smaly K.

Yelp
Been here a few times when we want something quick to eat. It's pretty good poké bowls, with the option of sushi rice, brown rice, salad, or zucchini noodles. The regular size is $11.95 with two scoops of protein, and for a bit more, is the large with three scoops of protein. They have some tuna, some salmon, shrimp, scallops, and then some kind of protein special. You get to choose your sauces, and then as many mix-ins and toppings as you like, but they do charge for any extra scoop of a topping. And I've tried their kombucha on tap here, which is pretty good, but a bit overpriced.

Jay D.

Yelp
Friendly staff and yummy poke. Fresh and lots of toppings to choose from. Fast service to boot. Will def go back.

Shevaani S.

Yelp
This is our local go-to lunch date spot. We have never been disappointed. Seafood is fresh and staff is friendly. They have ample parking spots, since it is in a plaza. Staff adheres to the mask protocols. They also compost and recycle. Our 9yr old also loves this spot. He has been trying new proteins here. Staff is nice and helpful to him, making his experience something he looks forward to.

Meg L.

Yelp
Can never go wrong with poke here. I like getting the custom order (large) because it comes with three choices of protein over rice or salad. They have a good, fresh, variety of toppings and their Thai ginger dressing is so good! Sort of spicy and tangy at the same time. I love their special mix that they have right now- it's a mix of avocado and tuna and it's so good. Recommend coming here if you've never had poke because it's very easy to order. They had happy hour (around 4) when I was here where you can roll dices to receive free things:) win win.

Olivia H.

Yelp
Yasss MV is long over due for a poke spot! I could eat here everyday! My only complaint is they serve there rice warm which I am not use to, I prefer my sushi rice cold. But that could just be personal preference. You won't be disappointed by the quality of the ingredients here and the staff is always so kind and patient with my picky kiddos and my indecisive self! Ha

Nicole J.

Yelp
We went in at lunch and they didn't really help us get going or what to order, they have changed the menu and very expensive for a small bowl with lettuce and not rice. The check out man who was middle aged was extremely unhelpful and rude no smile couldn't answer a simple question. Probably wouldn't be back.

Steph G.

Yelp
Just Poké is an awesome alternative to some of the other grab and go places near Target/Safeway in Issaquah. Their staff is great and speedy quick! The quality of their product is also really good. I always prefer making my own combination so it varies based on my mood. You must get the spicy crab! It's so tasty and sometimes I just want allll the spicy crab in my bowl. The space isn't huge but there is a good amount of seats to enjoy the meal inside. Lunch time is slammed! I like coming at opening time on weekends (Sunday!) because it's a bit less busy.

Kishi M.

Yelp
I. Overall: This place truly has the potential of being awesome if they paid attention to the little things. Decent Food with Good Quality ingredients II. Disclaimer: I have not been paid or compensated by anyone for writing this review in any way, shape or form III. Food: There isn't much scope for ambience as a lot of people grab and go. a. Positives: The quality of ingredients is good. There are also a lot of good options for add ons such as kimchi cucumber, corn, jalapeño and more. To start with there are also very healthy options for base e.g. Rice, Brown Rice, Zucchini Noodles, Spring Greens (organic) and more. b. Negatives: This is my third time doing carry out and they have forgotten my chopsticks. Additionally they offer a ton of add-ons but unless You keep a mental note of everything You may have selected, there is simply no way for You to know if all your selections made it to the bowl

Karina S.

Yelp
Had a great experience at this location today!! The service was amazing and very helpful. My one take away was one of the ingredients that I really wanted was not available today. This was very disappointing. I go to this restaurant 3 times a week. The manager named True apologized for the inconvenience.. I asked him if his name was really True and he said yes. I proceeded to talk with him and he didn't make excuses he just proceeded to offer me extra toppings to offset the ingredient they were out of . I really believe he went above and beyond to make my Friday lunch as great as it usually is. When I paid my bill I asked him again if his name was really True he responded yes and my last name is Kraft as in True Kraft. Thank you Just Poke for hiring a great manager.. In talking to him more I found out he wasn't just the manager here but also in Maple Valley.. Just Poke you got it right!! Sincerely, Elva

Bill R.

Yelp
Staff was nice. But the protein that they give you is the smallest portion I've ever seen. Even on my large bowl I got barely any protein. I think the third scoop was maybe half a scoop. The just poke in Renton does a way better job. I actually feel like I'm getting what I paid for. This will definitely be the last time I go to this poke place. Very disappointed.

Thao N.

Yelp
I'm the wrong person to ask about poke. I don't eat seafood (don't shame me), I'm sure I can't say much about critiquing tofu and sweet potato. Lol. But I do enjoy the clean ease of coming here, it's a refreshing meal without feeling too bloated after eating. You pick your base, protein, sauces, and sides. Most would say the protein make or break what a good poke place is, for me I guess it would be the sauce since I can't touch fish. My favorite would be garlic truffle and wasabi soy. For 2 proteins, it would run you around $15 after tax + tips, for 3 protein probably close to $20 after tax + tips. I notice that with the larger size, you can save it for another meal so cut that cost in half. To save you from driving around figuring out where this is because Google Maps won't hold your hand and take you step by step since it's located in the big shopping plaza, it's located right at the corner. No seatings due to Covid-19, but it's meant to be a take out type of food anyways. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Catherine S.

Yelp
You are served by teens packed with attitude. In addition, you are given old moldy food. Gross and unsanitary. This place used to be better, but since a recent management change, everything went downhill.

William G.

Yelp
They offer decently cost poké bowls! It's like the fast-food version of poké and they provide a lot of options for toppings and you can mix and match how you want to create your own bowl!

Jo Ann V.

Yelp
First time eating at Just Poke. Came here after a long hike, beat choice i made. I will be back here for sure

Kay C.

Yelp
Finally a fast service poke place in Issaquah! I waited so long, and so excited it's here and decently close to where I live. It's still soft opening, I believe grand opening is next week and there are some specials that will happen that weekend. I got my usual - a large with 2 salmon and 1 spicy tuna with the toppings. Overall, they gave a very good amount. Tasted fresh to me, can't complain!!

M O.

Yelp
I've been coming here at least once a week since I recently moved to Issaquah. They have been consistently fresh, quick, and generous with their portions. I've seen the owner jumping in to help on the line as well and he's always said that he appreciates my business. Definitely going to continue coming back here.

Valerie H.

Yelp
The prices here have gone up, but the quality has gone way down. We took a break for a few months, but ordered poke last night. The sauce seemed to have been put in first everything, was very dry, they left out the avocado, and it just wasn't worth $15. It's a bummer because it used to be really good.

Serena T.

Yelp
It was clean, it was nicely decorated, and it was delicious. What else could you ask for? It is Hawaii far from Hawaii. I wish I lived closer to this store so I could go everyday. I am the kind of person who never goes to china restaurants. I love local restaurants and I try to eat local. But just Poke is an exception ( and maybe Chipotle), and this location was the best Just Poke I have been to. They also serve açai bowls, so I really want to go one morning and try the açai. Highly recommended. I know I would go back again and again.

Brandon S.

Yelp
This delicious local Poke spot is always tasty and fresh. Unfortunately they seem to be headed the same direction as so many other successful places. We walked in and immediately recognized that the bowls were now smaller and the servings seem to shrink with every visit. What really got us was the sign that clearly said "Choose as many toppings as you want"! Nope. They now charge $1.00 extra if you want an additional topping. Clearly a disconnect....Shame, this place really is good, just slowly pricing themselves out of the Poke wars.

Kiayana T.

Yelp
Pretty good! They forgot some toppings but still delicious and the staff was pretty friendly

Vince N.

Yelp
Just Poke is always a good bang, for your buck. Poke and topping is loaded on your carb of choice or salad. Looks like they changed their policy for ad ons and you can have all the ad ons you want. I think this is a good place to fill your tummy up. Restaurant is clean and there is a good amount of seating. Service was good and the peeps behind the county were very friendly.

Randi S.

Yelp
My son and I love going to Just Poke in Issaquah. The customer service is great. They were very patient with my 7 year old while he was making decisions on his food choices. They even offered some suggestions to him on what kids usually pick out. They checked in and asked how we liked our food. It was our first experience dining in a restaurant after they lifted the restrictions on dine-in the first time. Now it is back to only to-go food and we will be coming back for take out. The ingredients are fresh and there is a wide variety of toppings and options to appeal to different palates.

I've gone to a couple different poke places around Washington and this is by far my favorite. Service has always been great as well as the freshness of the food. The atmosphere of the location is so cute and welcoming.
