First time buying here, family just moved to the area, but will definitely keep coming back. The people there are genuinely nice, and their kolaches and donuts are good.

I like the owners of this place. They are always nice and work really hard. I have been going here for like the past 5 years and they are always so friendly. Totally worth spending your money here becuse everything is good. My favorite thing to buy here are croissants with bacon, egg, and cheese. Delicioso😋

I have been going to this establishment for over 3 years..the staff is very friendly, courteous, very efficient. They greet every customer coming in and you always get an invite to return. The variety is perfect for even the pickest of people. Highly recommended!!!!!

I didn't know about this place until the other morning, when I remembered that I had to pick up refreshments for a meeting. I looked on Yelp and saw that this was the nearest place. I called to see if they could accommodate the amount I needed, and I received excellent telephone customer service. When I went to pick up the donuts, the proprietor was so personable, kind, and helpful. The donuts were as delicious as they were beautiful--a big hit at the meeting. Please patronize Just Rising. It's a bit hidden from the street and I don't think people know about it as much as they should. She will also custom-make donuts for your occasion. And they are very reasonably priced.

Great glazed donuts! Fluffy, soft, and melts in your mouth! I even warmed one up in the microwave a day later and it was still fluffy and soft (unlike Shipley - turns into thick, hard bread). Cashier was friendly and chatty!

On the way to Hobby Airport, we stopped by for some plain glazed doughnuts. I usually judge a doughnut shop by how good their plain glazed are. I have to say that I was pretty impressed! Their plain glazed was fluffy, soft, and warm. Unfortunately I didn't try anything else, but if the other doughnuts are half as good as the plain glazed, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

No complaints here. I stopped for kolaches, glazed donuts and donut holes at about 5:30 in the morning on a weekday. They were wide open and very friendly. The man offered me samples of donut holes and they were freshly made, warm, buttery and delicious! This is definitely a mom and pop shop, family run so give them your business! They have different kinds of kolaches; sausage and cheese, sausage and jalapeño, and two different sizes; large and small. Some for the adults and some for the kiddos! They were really tasty and he even microwaved them for me. Such a nice touch.

The family that owns this business are wonderful. I take my granddaughter here for breakfast on mornings that I have to be at work early. The owner has taken to my granddaughter and vice versa. She always gives her little "extras" with her breakfast. The business is always clean and the donuts, kolaches, & breakfast sandwiches are always hot and fresh. I'm so glad I stopped! I'm never disappointed and neither is my granddaughter.

Family run donut shop that bakes everything fresh daily. Prices are lower than the big name donut shops out there. Try the breakfast croissant with sausage, eggs, and cheese.

This place is awesome! I have tried several other places in houston/pasadena/pearland area and none compare to this place (except for cathys kolaches in pasadena which is closed now)....the donuts are super soft, fluffy and melt in your mouth!
