Just Salad

For both wraps I ordered there was absolutely no dressing even though "heavy" was indicated. I called their customer service and politely let them know, yet I was suddenly muted and put on hold with no notice for approx. 5 minutes. I hung up because no one ever came back to the phone.

Just Salad is my favorite of the fast casual salad spots in midtown and this particular location is my go-to. Fresh ingredients, great selection and good value. The service here is always fantastic too: Gisele and Hillary always greet me with a smile and have the best energy.

I come here maybe 2-3 times a week and what truly sets it apart is the service. I tend to frequently see or get served by Hillary and Gissela, who always have a smile on their face, and are always friendly. I get food frequently catered to my team specifically from this just salad as these 2 lady’s are great, and the food is always fresh.

I love just salad. I’m obsess with the Cilantro Lime chicken salad 😋🤤For the past year me telling myself I’m going to try something new but don’t.. why mess up a good thing.. it’s perfect every time… your taste buds need just salad on your life.😍 and the employees are great too. Environment is very warming.

I've been going to this location for over a year now and never had a problem until a week ago and now it keeps persisting. This is the 3rd time in the last 3 visits there's been an issue. First time I ordered ahead online for about an hour out and when I got there, it wasn't ready, wasn't started, and when they noticed, they rushed and missed half the ingredients and gave me a half full salad. Second and third times, ordered there and they just didn't listen and gave me the complete wrong salads from what I asked for and only filled them halfway. Don't know what's changed recently but I don't think i'll be returning

The food is great as you would expect but what I really love about the Just Salad on Broadway and 39th St is the incredibly friendly crew that work there. They always give me a big greeting no matter how busy they are and make me feel welcome. That is why I keep coming back.

So many options and I was blown away at the price! Wanted something light before my flight this was perfect! Coming back for sure!

Can this place PLEASE open in LA?! I think it would do phenomenal. We got the Protein Power and it was definitely protein packed! They ran out of egg so they were nice and added a extra chicken to compensate, grateful that they did this. The portion size was VERY generous and the staff was extremely friendly! They made us feel very welcome. It was a pretty big store front with lots of seating. HIGHLY recommend!!

Had a healthy delicious TooGoodToGo rice bowl with two slices of bread and a pumpkin soup. The rice bowl came with brown rice, sliced apples, cauliflowers, lentil and a scoop of avocado. The workers were efficient. Just they closed rather early at 8:30pm so I couldn't sit and eat at the restaurant. The restaurant looks clean.

From the moment I stepped in, Hillary greeted me with such warmth. She helped me with my order and beautifully assembled my Cilantro Lime Chicken Warm Bowl. Service was amazing, and I think that people should follow in her footsteps when it comes to hospitality. Thank you Hillary, and I'll be back.

I order from Just Salad via GrubHub at least 2x per week for dinner. Every other time I order there is something wrong or missing with my salad. This most recent time, I requested no romaine in my chicken Caesar salad, as well as bread and half a lemon. My salad was missing the chicken, bread, and lemon. It also came with more Romaine than kale. Super disappointing. I reached out to Corporate and didn't even get a follow up. Please go to other salad locations in the city, at least you won't have missing ingredients.

I think this is a good salad location that has some things going for it: it's quick, there are tons of interesting salad options, and it's got better pricing than other nearby salad options. It also has a sustainable option where you can get a reusable bowl to use if you're a repeat customer. I've never seen that before and I think it's cool they offer it. Some downsides, though: not enough dressing flavor, too many avocados all over the menu, and the to-go bowl lids have flimsy coverings. I've had them come apart on my 2-block walk home. I recommend this place if you're in the area and need a no-fuss, healthy lunch option.

I love Just Salad & this location in particular is great. My order is always ready on time, packaged well, good portions, & delicious. My favorites are the chicken Caesar salad (with bread of course) and the PB protein smoothie is amazing!

Derick and Richie has been amazing! It was my first time coming here and they told me all about the selection but also made my day by making me feel welcome. My salad not only look amazing but it also tastes amazing and it was my first time here!

This is a was one of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Poblano - Romaine & Kale, Breaded Chicken, Cotija Cheese, Avocado, Corn, Pickled Red Onions, Tortilla Chips. Suggested Dressing: Smoky Poblano Ranch. My first one (you know I've had more than one) was light on the kale, heavy on the Romaine and it was perfection. The fried chicken cutlet was HUGE. The pickled red onions.... I could have eaten a bowl of them by itself. I will definitely ask for extra next time. I got it with the salad dressing tossed in. The clerk asked me if I wanted "heavy or light" dressing. Thank you for asking! That gives people who usually have to order it on the side a choice to get theirs tossed too. The clerk was outstanding. I ordered from another location because it was in my delivery area, but I liked the salad I got at this location so much that I'm willing to make the trip myself when the craving hits. I love their eco-friendly bowls. The cardboard holds up to the dressing and the lid clamps shut. For even more conservation you can buy a reusable bowl. Great if you're a regular. If I worked nearby this would be my go-to lunch spot. Delicious!

Full disclosure: I hate salads. I want to like them, just like all the fab, trendy beauties walking the streets of New York City. But how can you like rabbit food for a meal? Well, if you're anything like me, just salad's chicken poblano salad may change your mind! Crispy and fresh, yet flavorful and filling - and the strawberry lemonade was the refreshing cherry on top. So. Good. This new location is clean and urban chic, and the staff is friendly and well-mannered. A salad is still not a favorite meal of mine, but if I enjoyed this pleasant surprise, you will too!

Watch out Sweetgreen! Just Salad is great - all fresh ingredients and they don't skimp. I tried the California Salad which is a nice low calorie, low sodium option. It was really good without all the guilt. I tried the buffalo ranch dressing on the side which was yummy. And you can add an optional piece of bread. There was no line when I arrived and my salad was made quickly. The staff was also very pleasant. Overall great place to grab a healthy salad or meal with lots of options.

Food: 3. $30 soup and salad combo. I wouldn't do make your own salad. They charge extra just about everything with Limited choice. Taste mediocre. Chicken noodle soup was bland. I'd get something that's set price. Unlikely will return for food. Decor: 5. Clean. Good for lunch. Environment friendly packaging and utensil. This is just about what I like about this place. Price : 3 expensive. Isn't very clear what's extra. Service 4. Pretty fast. If you like something fast maybe worth it for you.

Stopped in to grab some dinner here and the ambience at Just Salad is so bright and open, which is super welcoming. Also located close to Bryant park so you can take you entree to go and sit and eat there! I ordered the poblano salad which was recommended by the employee there, who was also really nice and even recommended adding a touch of the spicy avocado dressing. It was delicious and filling. I want to go back abs try the beyond meatball Tex mix salad next! Overall great quick lunch and dinner spot.

I got here with 5 minutes to close, around 7:55 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. They normally close at 8:00 but when I got there they still had everything in stock, and they were really welcoming. I'm at the manager, Felipe, and he was very nice in helping me order. He recommended the crispy chicken poblano as one of the most popular options. The salad comes with dressing either on the side or on the salad, and a piece of bread. I appreciate that both the bowl and the salad dressing are both in compostable/recycled material, not wasted plastic. The salad was really filling and high quality, and I will definitely be returning for a quick lunch spot.

After some back and forth I was refunded for the salad that I mentioned in my original review. Have gone a few times since then and had a great experience every time. Prices still better than its competitors and salad is delicious. People working there are very nice. The best part is that they usually have some open tables to have your lunch. Would recommend.

My company orders with them all the time. It's a great salad place and most times the food has no problems. I eat here at least once a week and I prefer it over some other salad places nearby.

You pay a lot for just a mediocre salad! Rolling pin in Westwood has far superior salads for the same price with much more protein and other toppings that are way better!! The staff is so preoccupied with speed that they don't give you time to FULLY place your ordered( it's very rushed). In the beginning when Just Salad opened it was so much better with a greater amount of protein added ( now it's minimal). So you're paying really for lettuce!!

Went back for lunch and was so happy with the order. I ardered the same as the last time and went to pick it up. It was out in 15 min which was a good amount. The bowl had a nice amount chicken and edamame. Though the food was lukewarm it was still delicious

The service here is fantastic! Despite always being crazy busy the food is great and the workers are always there with a smile and ready to help you with anything you need. Shoutout to Aquaya who runs the show so well!

This brand new location located in Golda Meir Plaza is worth a lunch break if working close by. When I came here I was told they had only been open about three weeks. I could tell as the place still had that new car smell, LOL, or I should say a new salad smell. Super nice and helpful staff. Made my salad to order. Ingredients are so fresh here and the choice of salad dressings are delicious. You can put together a make your own salad as I did, or choose one of their signature salads. As with anything on the healthy side in this city be prepared to pay a bit extra. This chain is worth it.

This is a great team in a good location. I have been coming here for over a year- I order before I go and everything is always ready and the salads are always good- fresh, filling, tasty. The team is really friendly. They remember my name- it feels like my local. Special shout out to Aquia and Venus!

After sample sale shopping on a hot summer day, I decided to be healthy and grab a salad. It was a Yelp Elite perk where we were able to go and get a free item on the menu so I decided to go. The staff was super nice and gave me the rundown of their menu. I was mistaking their menu with Sweetgreen and kept saying things that were Sweetgreen related. The person helping me was so nice and just played along with it (I am so sorry...). I got the Japanese Supergreen with marinated chicken thighs instead of the chicken breasts because no one really likes the breasts... They let me choose as many dressings my heart desired on the side. The guy that was helping me suggested the miso dressing and wow did it take me back to 2010 when Just Salad was a treat to have for lunch because my $5/ meal budget couldn't afford it on a regular basis. There are many Just Salads in NYC. This one is no different, BUT! It just opened and the people are super nice! If you work, are around, or live around the area, it is a solid place to grab a healthy and filling meal. It is not like your ordinary salad where you need to eat something else afterwards. Thank you 1412 Just Salad for being super sweet and accomodating!

I highly recommend this Just Salad location! The team works efficiently to prepare your order promptly. Just Salad's portions are very generous in keeping with the seasonal menu. Spacious seating is available, alongside online ordering. In addition to their large menu variety, custom salads are prepared perfectly each time no matter how challenging. Thank you!

The salads are great and everything is fresh. Sometimes you just want a hearty salad. I wish these were in California- I love that they are in the city. Service was great super friendly. Clean restaurant and environmentally friendly with their reusable bowl.

I came here as part of a Yelp event, and am looking forward to coming back. I decided to get the Beyond Tex Mex salad, one of their entirely plant-based options. It came with the "supergreens blend" (which seems to be just spinach and kale), black beans, corn, pickled red onions, chipotle vinaigrette, and the star of the show, beyond meatballs. It was filling and delicious, although a little pricey at $13.49. Next time I will probably get the chipotle cowboy salad with vegan chicken nuggets and avocado, which seems like a better deal at $10.99. Overall, the salads here seem to be a little less complex than at sweetgreen (my usual haunt for a healthy lunch), but the prices are correspondingly also a little cheaper, which I really appreciate. Lastly, a shoutout to Felipe, who provided really lovely and friendly customer service.

I cannot believe I haven't known about this salad joint! Based on other Yelpers' reviews, I also got the Crispy Chicken Poblano Salad, which consists of lettuce, chicken, cheese, avocado, corn, red onions, and tortilla chips. I've had many salads from elsewhere, but honestly speaking, this was the best salad I've had in NYC. The freshness of the ingredients, delicious dressings, generous portions, and quick and friendly service made me love this place! Whenever I order a salad, I will always order from Just Salad.

I was so lucky to be a part of a Yelp Elite promotion to enjoy a complimentary salad from this brand new Just Salad location! I'm a huge fan of the salads and this new store conveniently located close to Times Square is a wonderful addition to the chain. Just salad is doing a great job of reducing their impact on the environment by offering reusable bowls for $1, using recycled content for their napkins/cutlery and offering a variety of meatless meats! This location is very clean, and the service was fast and friendly! Manuela was very helpful with my clumsy ordering (I was debating between 2 salads and mixed up my words) and Franco the manager was lovely and welcoming as well. The sign on the door stated masks were optional but encouraged. (The staff were masked). My California Salad (with Daring Chicken substituted for regular) was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to return!!!

I've been coming to this location for over a year now and I love it. I never have to wait long for my order. The staff is super friendly, they work very fast, and always call me by my name. The salads are always fresh and the portions are perfect.

Just amazing! I had a very positive experience ordering for pickup online - I loved the both the Spicy Tofu Crunch and the Tokyo Supergreens with tofu! I love being able to customize and add / remove ingredients, and the total price was also very fair for the area (~$13-$15). My favorite might have been the Spicy Tofu Crunch, with added avocado, kale, and furikake - one of the best salads I've had to date! I love how the tofu is perfectly marinated - super tasty. With a mix of grains (rice or quinoa), the salads are pretty filling as well. The store was crowded when I picked up my salad during lunch hour - definitely recommend ordering for pickup to skip the wait. It's really convenient how there's a separate pickup area, and the eco-friendly containers + lids are all compostable ++1! After picking up my salad, it's but a short walk to Bryant Park - wonderful place to sit and enjoy a Just Salad when the weather is nice!

This location is an amazing place to stop for a salad. It is clean and well lit. I came in at about 4:30 pm to grab a salad after work. I was greeted by the manager Franco and by Mariana. They were both so friendly and accommodating. As I was looking through the salads, I took Franco's recommendation and was not disappointed. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. They gave generous portions as well. I would definitely come back for the food and for the quick, great service.

I have had delivery from other Just Salads before, but had never tried this location on Broadway. I'm so glad I did! the salad is super fresh and delicious. The main reason I write this review is to give a shout-out to the team of 14 people who were working hard through the chaotic lunch rush! I'm not sure what the usual atmosphere is but as a location below Times Square I'm sure it's constantly slammed. These food service workers had an amazing system to keep the line moving fast, get orders correct, and keep quality in a very busy environment! I have previously worked in food service for ten years, but I was still very impressed with what I saw. I want to give them a round of applause for a job well done. I will definitely be back!

I don't like it. I feel you as bad, I used to go to there flat iron location. Haven't been to just salad in years. I stumble upon a Midtown location I walk in and I'm instantly confused. There line process is weird. They don't explain things to customers which is weird because not everyone is a repeat customer. I like the reusable bowl concept, but why do I have to walk to the counter with a bowl without a lid on it? So many questions I'm just confused I'm not a fan of the salad and I doubt I'll be back. Why did they change the recipe for the buffalo chicken salad.

The place is called Just Salad, but they offer SO much more! The service, the ambiance, the food, incredible all around! I work nearby, so I come to Just Salad 2-3x a week and it never fails. The entire menu has something for everyone. I feel like the staff is almost family at this point. Just Salad is my favorite lunch spot for great food and great times

Great place to get salad! They don't have any tables so I get the salad and either take it home or I'll eat at the park right around the corner. Very hood selection of fresh vegetables and they are super quick!

Place is terrible, charge you "extra toppings" if you replace an item with another. Ex: asked for corn instead of onions. Then you get an attitude when you ask why you're being charged for "extra toppings". Mind you, ordering on the app switching ingredients has no additional charge. Please educate your employees.

A meal is about $12 here, $15 plus tip. The service was fast because there were surprisingly few people at 7:00 PM. I loved the ESG aesthetic and the seating was comfortable. Overall seems like a nice place, will eat more salads. Got the courteous cook's recommendation.

Here the "extra" bread for $2 . The size of my finger . Over priced , $18 salad. At least give the extra bread no charge when the bread isn't even anything substantial to begin with. Ask for a small bit of dressing to try in a small container, the woman (maybe a manger ) told the other employees no !He should give give the literal drop of dressing on a container cover .. no thanks! I Payed $18+ for the overpriced salad, rip off ! And their customer service is terrible.

I've been to a few different locations and have had great experiences at all of them. Franco, Manuela, and Jane were working today and they were just excellent. They greeted me right when I walked in, were super helpful with recommendations and customizing orders, and were just lovely overall. I always notice bright, positive attitudes and they make restaurant experiences so much better so I like to shout them out when I see them. This location had tables indoors & outdoors with public tables/seating available close by as well. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was DELICIOUS - Also fiancé approved!

I usually don't write reviews for most fast casual restaurants, especially salad shops, but I loved the service I received when I came to this location. The California salad was generously portioned, albeit with more lettuce than anything else.

This place is so tasty! Got the warm chicken goat cheese bowl with sweet potatoes and it was delicious. Came with roasted mushrooms too. Felt like a warm, nourishing hug :) sometimes I'm in the mood for a healthy but warm lunch, and a warm salad bowl is the way to go! Also two thumbs up for the cucumber mint lemonade.

This spot is delicious! I came on a Friday around 2pm, and I had a 5 star experience. Everything was brand new and spotless. I ordered the crispy chicken poblano salad that comes with poblano ranch and a slice of bread. The staff was very nice and quick. All the ingredients were very fresh. What's most important to me is the environmentally friendly practices the shop has in place. Reusable bowls, no plastic, paper/degradable bowls, and a detailed recycling area help keep you from creating more waste than needed. Well done, Just Salad! I will be back.

I stopped by in the evening around 7pm. The store was very clean. I decided to try one of their warm bowls for the free event. I chose the chicken fajita bowl which came with brown rice, fajita veggies, mushrooms and a scoop of avocado mash. They slice a piece of chicken thigh in front of you which is great to watch for freshness. I thoroughly enjoyed the bowl when I got home and it was a very generous portion size. I can't wait to stop by during my normal lunch hours.

New spot located walking distance from Bryant park and time square! Fresh ingredients and tasty signature salads. I personally got the chicken poblano salad but substituted the chicken for the daring chicken (plant based) and it was awesome! Large quantity, great mix ins, and the dressing was delicious. Will note the avocado was not ready yet so wasn't chopped up and they did run out of crispy chicken for the night I went around closing. Overall the staff is extremely friendly and I can't wait to come back to try other salads!

I always thought buying salad is a waste money! But this chicken salad is really they gave you a very large piece of breaded chicken. It has chips in the salad to give it a crunchy texture. It is super delicious and filling.

This morning, there were two male employees who were cleaning the door & windows. And I was called 'Puta' when I walked out of the door by one of the Just Salad male employee who was on the ladder :P. The other male worker who was wearing glasses was nice and welcoming when I entered. What did I do? He really ruined my mood.
