Evee is always great taking my salad order. Quick easy and fast.

Google
Quick and nice service. But food is too salty for my preference (got the roasted chicken, lentils, cucumber & chickpea, feta, light miso ginger dressing)

Google
The service was great and the options for charges were explained in depth as we went. The dressings and other parts were fresh and made there. I also loved the amount of seating for Philadelphia. The music and feel of the place were good too. My only complaint is the amount of dressing I got for a normal amount.

The salad was excellent. Everything was very clean and delicious. High quality. Martha was lovely and súper helpful. She really made sure i got a great salad. If you’re looking for a quick salad and a nice environment this restaurant is perfect

I love this place. I always feel welcomed. Jahizar and ivy’s excellent customer service was amazing. I haven’t been here in years and it’s always the same when I come in. They make me feel special every single time. The food that they provide is very fulfilling. They switch their menus for every season and every time it’s something different. Number one reason why I keep coming back. My favorite would have to be the crispy chicken poblano.

After ordering one of their salads for takeout, I got food poisoning. The shrimp was really stale and smelled very fishy. I threw up SO much- I’ve never thrown up this much before because I have never experienced food poisoning. I usually patronize Sweet Green, but decided to try a new place instead, and I regret it so much. This happened over 24 hours ago, and my stomach is still feeling bad. Though I feel much better, last night was unbearable. I sobbed so much because the pain was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Especially considering I paid over $30 for that salad, I hope that nobody else has to go through this experience. I certainly was expecting higher quality food. Salad wasn’t bad, but my sesame tofu had absolutely no sesame on it, and I asked for medium dressing and there was barely any. Please pay more attention to detail to deliver the best outcome to your customers.

Google
I rarely leave reviews but this experienced warranted one. I ordered a pre-fixed salad to go and told the worker I’d be making one addition, she looked confused and another worker cut in and rudely said I’d be limited to one modification. Not what I said, but okay? As she went through making the order I wanted to add cheese and she said no. Huh?? I said I know it’s extra, you can add it. Least to say I won’t be back at this location.. workers seemed to be confused and disgruntled when requesting something that isn’t a pre-fix item on the menu.

Google
Exceptionally fresh ingredients with some very tasty options. The price is very reasonable, if not cheap compared to similar salad spots. Also, shoutout to Ivy, who made our salads and went above and beyond to take care of us.

Yelp
I've been eating their salads for 4 years - Aaron (the cashier/manager) worked all through Covid, and he is very nice. Today, I was waiting to order behind a woman customer who drove the salad maker behind the counter crazy: "Is this included? Did I ask for tomatoes yet" So that's cucumbers, tomatoes, did I not get greens? " Seriously, she was horrible. Then she got to the end of the line, and they were OUT OF HER CHOSEN DRESSING!!! Never mind, there were 6 others to choose from - she walked out without buying the custom salad she had just spend 15 minutes holding up the line, creating. That's why it's hard to find help these days... My Thai chicken with spicy sesame dressing (my usual order) was fine

Yelp
Stopped in here on my way back to work and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. The term just salads is a bit deceptive considering they have soup and wraps BUT the salad I ordered was pretty tasty. They also had really cute reusable bowls that were characters from sesame Street. Now if this place could get my 4 yr old to eat a salad I'd definitely be here everyday

Yelp
These TooGoodToGo bowls were healthy and reasonably tasty. Nothing really stood out for me. It was fun to feel filled in this manner . These are great to have available after a workout or even to start your day. Staff is friendly. Would've considered juices too but they are about to close when I could make it.

Yelp
Used the TooGoodToGo app. The place was pretty dead (maybe because it was close to 7pm- when they close). My bowl came with brussels Sprouts, cauliflower, and couscous. It was pretty healthy and good. I really liked the sauce that was on the cauliflower (it was a bit spicy). The size they gave was pretty average. I didn't feel hungry after but I wasn't completely stuffed.

Yelp
Anytime I find a restaurant that serves Beyond products, my mood is instantly elevated. I have to give Just Salad a well-deserved 5 stars for several reasons. For starters, ordering online was a breeze. They allow you to choose from a couple time slots instead of just telling you how long the order will take to make. In addition to salads, they have warm bowls, wraps, smoothies, and avocado toast among other great choices! You can filter the options on their website by Vegan, gluten free and paleo, which is awesome. As I mentioned in the beginning of my review, I was so happy to see that they serve Beyond products. Naturally, I ordered a Chipotle Cowboy w/ Beyond Chicken. I loved the combination of flavors and how fresh it tasted. The Chipotle vinaigrette dressing wasn't heavy and this salad includes avocado (yes, you read that correctly!) so they don't charge you extra for premiums like some salad places. You can opt to get bread on the side but I skipped the carbs today. Love their biodegradable utensils, bowls and straws, too. Not only do they serve greens, but they're trying to be green for the planet. 1000% recommend Just Salad!

Yelp
My co-worker and I were looking for a spot to grab Lunch. She orders from here quite often, so we decided to order some salad. She got the Keto (seasonal) salad turned into a wrap, and I got the Build Your Own Warm Bowl with Brown Rice, oven roasted chicken, crispy onions, roasted sweet potatoes, shaved broccoli, sharp white cheddar, and balsamic vinaigrette. I enjoyed my meal for the most part, but have a few minor complaints. 1.) There was something in the salad that I just didn't like the taste of (which is weird, because I like all of the above ingredients). I'm thinking it was something about the onions. 2.) The shaved broccoli had way more of the ends of the broccoli rather than the heads. This might also be the "weird taste" in the salad that I wasn't a huge fan of. 3.) I used to primarily go to Crisp Kitchen (prior to them closing in the city) and got a meal very similar to this. What I loved there (that I wish Just Salad had) was either a garlic sesame sauce, or a teriyaki sauce. If they did, I think I would have enjoyed my meal even more!

Vava K.

Yelp
This is inedible. Meat is hard and dry. The rice crunched. I can't even identify the vegetables.
google avatar

Yelp
tbh pretty tasty. that said the server literally laughed at me when I said "what do you recommend" when ask about sauce.

Yelp
I have tried my first couple of salads in this place and surprised I didn't come sooner. From trying multiple lunch spots in the area, I can say that ingredients are FRESH! That's what matters to me. I like the salad variety the place has. But i specifically appreciate the calorie breakdown on everything they carry including dressings!!!! This deserves a separate thank you.

Melody B.

Yelp
The food is good and the customer service is even better. Jorge at the Nassau Park location (Lawrenc/princeton) greeted us with a warm smile and was very helpful.

Yelp
The "California" wrap that I had was VERY good! It didn't fill me enough, but that's okay, since I had some Tostitos stashed at work! All of the wrap ingredients were excellently fresh - the chicken, egg whites, avocado, almond slivers, and lettuce. YUM! This was a rep lunch - no JS's in South Jersey yet, but if so, I'd make my own trip every now and then.

Yelp
This place is hit or miss. Lately it's been a complete miss. I order my favorite salad and have it delivered to my work when I'm in the city. One day they forgot to include the chicken. Other days no fresh lime. Called GrubHub and they told me the restaurant said they squeezed the lime onto the salad. Yeah right. When they get it right, it's a good salad. When they screw it up, like today with dried out burnt chicken and no lime to be found, it's a definite miss.

Yelp
The is too old, it last made two days ago' it disgusting I don't recommend this food

Yelp
Just Salad is Just OK. It wasn't bad and it wasn't mind-blowing. It was a bit pricier than Saladworks but also had a few more "yuppie type" ingredients. That said, the "California" salad I ordered (kinda like a Cobb without bacon) was romaine, chicken, tomatoes, avocado and egg whites. The lady serving it had quite a 'tude. Not friendly service at all. Meanwhile I enjoined the Maple Cider (read sweet as sugar) vinaigrette. The teeny blue plastic fork was a joke. In the mean time I prefer other salad chains better and will not be rushing back here - however 2 of my coworkers love it so I bet - I just bet we'll be back. Not a holy grail, but not an epic fail. Just Salad. Just OK.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid place. Another salad option in Center City. I'm not too particular about my salad and it met my expectations for a Caesar salad. It's similar to sweetgreen. I like the bread that accompanies the meal (has a bit of rosemary). I was still a bit hungry after the meal, but that's probably me after any salad lunch. There are other options on the menu other than salad! Will need to come back and check some of them out.

Yelp
I used to like this place a lot, it's convenient to my office and home so I frequently bought in store and ordered thru grub hub. After my latest experience, I will not support this establishment again! I ordered on Grub Hub and not only did the order arrive late, but it was 100% wrong. I called the number listed on GrubHub and it's actually goes to a corporate number where you have to text an agent related to an issue with an order already placed! The agent was not understanding. I called again and selected to speak with customer care, the agent I spoke to could not understand how the order was wrong. I ordered a modern Greek salad which is typically lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta and pita crisps. I received a salad with black beans, avocado and corn. I ordered a Thai chicken wrap, I received a wrap without chicken. They could not understand why I was calling and make many excuses. Finally I asked to be transferred to the store again a complete lack of acknowledgement of the issue and the attendant said "well what do you want me to do!" I asked for a refund and she hung up. Luckily, GrubHub has good customer service and they refunded me. Also check out this salad... Even if this was the right salad, the lettuce looks gross.

Yelp
Just Salad is so good but they always forget something with my order. It's frustrating because this spot is not cheap. But I keep going back because the crispy chicken poblano salad is so good.

Andrea H.

Yelp
This is literally the worst salad I've ever had. The entire thing was just kale - no spinach (even though it was part of the order), the cheese and tomatoes could have fit in a tablespoon. The tofu I added to the order consisted of three microscopic pieces that had no seasoning on them (I couldn't tell that they were even baked or cooked in any way). The "large" soup is barely one cup, and they forgot to include the bread (although I paid for it). Overall, the quality is horrible, they messed up the order, and the price for what I got was ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs!

Yelp
I stopped into Just Salad for a quick and easy dinner the other night. I did the pick 2- with a slice of avocado toast and a medium salad. The toast was really tasty-- I got the Avo Smash, with pickled onion, corn, and chipotle sauce. I paired it with the chipotle cowboy salad which was DELICIOUS. It had generous chunks of cheese and avocado, yummy onion strings, and I swapped the beans for corn to add some sweetness. The chipotle vinaigrette was really tasty, and was a nice departure from the typically heavy creamy dressings that you'd typically get on a salad like that. The portions were good, and I definitely left satisfied. The total for the combo rang up to be about $12 plus tax. The space is also new, very clean, and pretty. Service was prompt and courteous, and they were great about letting me really customize my meal. If you're in the area, absolutely stop in. They have a plentiful menu of tasty food that won't leave you feeling guilty!

Yelp
I was disappointed in this place. I ordered because i got a few dollars off from the ritual app and the picture of what i got is not anything like what i saw on the menu. It was all lettuce with a little chicken, and the lettuce just didn't seem fresh. More than that, though, i decided to eat inside the establishment, and i didn't have a minute where i wasn't surrounded by a fly. It just was unpleasant and i ended up packing up and leaving. I won't back.

Yelp
I used to come here for lunch a lot pre-Covid and it was one of my favorite spots. Their buffalo chicken salad/wrap used to be so good. I'm back at the office now post-Covid and placed my usual pick order. I saw on the menu that they have a "new recipe" but I didn't think much of it. Well, the new recipe doesn't even have Buffalo sauce! It's a spicy Buffalo ranch and frankly it's not spicy at all and I can't taste any Buffalo flavor. The "marinated chicken thighs" are not very good either and flavor of them kind of overwhelms. To top it off, I paid the upcharge for an extra piece of bread but it wasn't provided. I probably won't come back unless they go back to the original Buffalo chicken wrap recipe.

Yelp
I came here for the first time while in the area. Its a salad place, as the name mentions, where you can get custom-made salads or one of the ones on the menu. I ordered the cowboy salad and really enjoyed it. Atmosphere: VERY casual. Most people are picking up lunch and leaving. Plenty of space should you choose to dine in. Food: I ordered the cowboy salad, which was very southwestern-texmex kinda flavor. It had beans and a mexican dressing. You can go light, normal, or heavy on the dressing. Portions are huge so I'd recommend heavy. Overall, salad was great, definitely worth a stop by here. Not sure if its worth $11 for a bowl of salad, however. Service: Quick, friendly.

Yelp
I LOVE Just Salad! Not only are the salads affordable, but you can use a re-useable bowl to help Planet Earth! Great variety, fast and friendly service. Their seasonal options are my favorite and you can easily customize every dish. The berry wild smoothie is delicious and low calorie. Perfect for lunch or a quick dinner on a nice night
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch with a friend the other day. At 12pm the place was empty - not sure if it was because it was a holiday or because everyone was at sweetgreen. I got a seasonal salad - the tandoori Fire - and it was just alright. Fresh ingredients and I liked the dressing (yogurt cucumber). But it was just lacking in flavor... my friend ordered the Tokyo supergreens and really regretted not ordering the dressing on the side - she didn't like it at all. Honestly, with so many great and healthy lunch options nearby, I probably won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I LOVE Just Salad. (Also, it isn't *just* salad.) This place is a lifesaver. No other place in Philly has so many delicious, low-cal options that are incredibly filling!
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! I've only ever gotten the Greek salad with the cucumber yogurt dressing because it's so freaking good, but I've tried bites of other salads and they are delicious as well. I love the reusable bowl system. $1 for a bowl- you need to take it home and wash it before they let you use it but then you get two free toppings every time, and it's such a fun bowl to eat out of. It looks somewhat small, but they really pack the salad in so there's no worry that you're getting less food. My only qualm is that the line is sort of chaotic and it's loud in there and difficult to hear the person making your salad- they really need to speak up. I do sometimes feel like they're annoyed at me repeatedly asking "sorry what did you say??".

Yelp
After doing some serious retail therapy in Center City, I was in need of a quick and easy dinner. Just Salad caught my eye since it was right in the area and a cold dish was ideal for the blistering hot summer weather. Little did I know that this place was going to have me thinking twice about getting a salad when I saw the menu and all they have to offer. Just Salad doesn't JUST have salads. They have wraps, bowls, toast boxes, soups, and smoothies too! Although I had originally set my heart on a salad, the Protein Power Toast Box was calling my name instead! This seasonal special came with two slices of multigrain toast topped with avocado mash, hard boiled eggs, grape tomatoes, and chipotle mayo dressing... and boy was it good! The multigrain bread was thick and perfectly toasted. It was topped with a sufficient amount of avocado mash, eggs, and tomatoes. I was watching the young lady make my meal and noticed the chipotle mayo dressing was barely drizzled on. I asked her to add a little extra and she was happy to do as I pleased. :) The Protein Power Toast Box, which came out to roughly $10, left me full and content! Staff was very friendly, but you could tell that they are still learning and figuring things out since it is a new establishment. It took a few extra minutes for them to locate the ingredients they needed and run the computer system to process my bill. I did notice that the staff worked well together though. They asked each other questions to keep the line moving as quick as possible. I'm sure things will move more smoothly as staff becomes better familiar with the equipment and process! I can definitely see myself stopping in here again when I'm in Center City. I would love to try one of their salads next time. Check this place out if you're looking for a simple, casual, and healthy meal!

Yelp
I was actually on my way to sweetgreen and gave this place a shot because I was too lazy to walk. Verdict: I like it better than sweetgreen. The metallic surfaces here and compostable bowls remind me of it, but the overall ingredients just taste more fresh. More salad options, dressings are delicious, and the staff are all so friendly. Popular salads: The California Thai Chicken Crunch Buffalo Chicken
google avatar

Alice W.

Yelp
Not just a salad place, but also has soups, grain bowls, avocado toast, and smoothies! I came here around noon and was in and out very quick. The employees here are very friendly. An employee takes your order while you are in line on paper, and then you bring your order paper slip to the bar for them to make your salad. This place is a lot faster than sweet green. I ordered The California salad and came with romaine, chicken, avo, egg whites, toasted almonds and tomatoes.

Yelp
Awesome! I have been wanting to try a similar concept for a while but couldn't really get myself to stand in those long lines for salad... Today a co-worker and I walked down to Just Salad and were pleasantly surprised the line wasn't out the door. The line moved quickly and they had someone standing there to take your order before you handed it over the counter. I went with the Avo Blast toast box and added shrimp and lemon. When I got to the checkout I realized there was no shrimp on my toast so I mentioned it to the girl at the register and she quickly fixed it for me. On each piece were 4 large shrimp which is awesome! I think next time I'll request the shrimp to be chopped up or I'll just chop them up myself as it made it a little messier than intended. But whatevs because seriously this was AMAZING! My co-worker got the Thai crunch salad and he said he was very happy with it as well. We're both stuffed! I love getting lunch under $10 and actually being full! Let me tell you my previously favorite avocado toast is from Sunny's in Miami..very similar with the corn and pickled onion plus stone crab BUT the cilantro and shrimp from Just Salad really put this one as my top Avo-toast! Delicious in every way and healthy for a quick lunch! I will definitely be back very soon and very often! I also love the fact that they cater..I'm thinking we will do one of our team lunches from here! Hopefully they start taking delivery and online orders like their other stores! :) So happy this new location opened in Philly! Keep it up guys you're doing it SOOOO RIGHT!

Yelp
The selection is pretty good. I've been here maybe five times so far. I'll definitely go back for the wide selection, fast service and affordable prices. One star off for service. The young women that work there always have an attitude or some interpersonal issues happening. Today the manager was speaking quite loudly to the other employees- it was obnoxious. There was a small tiff between the girl making my salad and another one behind the counter. Check it out. It's a good spot if you want a quick salad to go.
google avatar

JUSTINE M.

Yelp
I got the Barbacoa bowl with brown rice and broccoli. It was a bit spicy but underwhelming in taste. My husband got the a turkey salad and it was also a bit bland in flavor. The decor is nicely done and the staff was very friendly. The con is Sweet Greens is down the street and their salads are so much better in comparison.
google avatar

Alyse J.

Yelp
Just Salad is a bit expensive, but the food is delicious! They have more than just salads too (wraps, bowls)! I got a salad and it was very fresh and yummy. I also got a detox cleanse smoothie. The restaurant is clean and well-lit. The staff was also very friendly. There is metered street parking, but it is scattered because it is in the city.
google avatar

Eric Clay W.

Yelp
This place is just blah. While it is a step above Saladworks, its pretty mediocre compared to Sweetgreen (which is just one block down the street). The vegetables are sliced so small, that your salad basically consist of the base green and dressing. Disappointing. Save your money and go to Sweetgreen right down the street. Way better and tastier option.

B.R. C.

Yelp
Expect a delay if ordering for pick up. They do not appear to be in much of a rush unless you order your salad in person. Disappointed.
google avatar

David Luke M.

Yelp
Absolute garbage. This establishment scams customers by exploiting the "fresh and local" trend to sell under-sized and over-priced salads that are truly terrible. I'm actually amazed that something as simple as a salad can be so disappointing. On the flip side, their branding is top-notch.
google avatar

London F.

Yelp
I am a sucker for a great salad, so when I heard Just Salad was joining the rank of lunch options in Center City I was excited to try it. The space is very bright and open with a good amount of menu options or you can build your own salad. The staff seemed pretty flustered even though it wasn't very busy and they sped through the process of putting salads together which I appreciate if I'm on a schedule but led to a lot of ingredients falling into others (buffalo chicken landing in the eggs, for example). I went with the classic chicken Caesar salad and was thrilled to see how much chicken she put in. It's a big salad and it rang in at just over $8 with tax, which is pretty great in comparison to other options. If you're looking for a healthy lunch spot, I'd definitely check it out!
google avatar

Mackenzie F.

Yelp
Such a fan of Just Salad but I was pretty disappointed with my most recent order ): I ordered the Chipotle Cowboy Salad for lunch and when I got back to my office and opened up the bowl, I felt like it was just a bowl of salad and an avocado I paid for with no toppings. I was pretty bummed about it because I normally really love Just Salad, but when you pay $10 for a salad, you hope that it will be packed with the toppings you were expecting.

Yelp
This afternoon I had a salad at your restaurant and I had to use the restroom. After checking the men's room and finding it locked I went to the counter and asked for a key. The person attending the register said if the restroom is locked that means someone is in there. Being a gender fluid person I returned to the restroom area and checked the womyns room, thankfully it was unoccupied, so I went in. Within seconds of me entering the restroom someone started banging very hard and frantically on the door. When I opened the door a very rude womyn who is a shift manager looked at me with disgust and asked very condescendingly, "Are you good?!?!" After the incident my female presenting lunch partner asked at the register if it was ok for her to use the men's room since the womyns room was occupied. She was told, "Of course." I'm disgusted with this treatment and will NEVER return for another overpriced, sub par salad. This is 2018, catch up. Assuming gender is a HUGE red flag!

Yelp
Disappointed !!! I ordered here and after I ate half of my salad I found a lady bug in it!!!!!! I guess I won't be ordering no more!
google avatar

Jill I.

Yelp
Abysmal customer service. We ordered 2 salads with extra bread and soup. The order came in a timely fashion. But there was zero bread with my order. Now, every salad usually comes with it and I paid for extra on top of that to get absolutely nothing. Wouldn't be a huge deal, it's just bread, except trying to contact them just leads to one big frustrating and worthless circle jerk. Calling the customer service number tells you to text. The text tells you to call. I write back on text that the phone prompted me to text about an existing order. Their response was "It is a phone tree it lets you know what to press after suggesting texting." Seriously?! Then they tell me they don't have my info to refund me. Ok Gave them my order number. "I'm sorry we do not have access to the platform you used to place your order." Keep in mind this all took place over 2 hours because getting a response was like pulling teeth all for them to tell me to reach out to door dash. It was such a small issue but they somehow they found a way to make it sooooo much worse. Luckily door dash was IMMEDIATELY helpful and gave me a partial refund. Ugh these guys though, they couldn't give a crap so I will not be spending another red cent here again.

Yelp
If you're looking for a salad...This is the spot!!! They have a mountain of options especially with building your own salad. From spinach to lettuce, short ribs (hot) to spicy chicken (hot & cold), they have it. The choices in salad dressings are many as well. This place was clean & tidy. The salad choice area was kept well cleaned also. The staff is very helpful when asked questions. They're also great with suggesting options for your salad. Needless to say, this is my spot!!!

Yelp
I was excited for another salad lunch spot in Center City and Just Salad indeed has more than just salad -- including smoothies and bowls. I also liked the idea of reusable bowls to both reduce waste and receive a free topping (avocado!) on every visit. The salads are good and comparable to other chains in the city, at a similar price point. Nothing to write home about, but the reusable bowl does give me an incentive to visit. I do have one issue with this place. I've now several times experienced an issue with "light dressing". No matter how I phrase it ("very light", "just one circle"), the employees always give me a ton of dressing! I'll get it on the side, but then it's just annoying to not have it tossed in when I've never had an issue with "light dressing" at other salad places. One time, the employee tried to convince me that I needed that much dressing because "kale is very dry". Another time, when I asked for just half the amount of "light", aka one ring of dressing, they squirted a huge blob at the end. Honestly, if i'm getting salad for lunch, I seriously do not want an extra 300 calories of dressing, and avoiding this headache has made me walk past Just Salad down a block for other options.
google avatar

Brit H.

Yelp
I've been looking for a smoothie place for a while. And this is my go-to now. I've walked by it a few times now and finally decided to go in and try it out. Great price point, I'd have to pay double for that near me. $6 for a yummy, filling, smoothie is so good! I get the peanut butter warrior every time. I'm going to try a salad next.
google avatar

Hira M.

Yelp
These salads are amazing!! But my only complaint is that they're so overpriced. I ordered the modern Greek crunch salad and it was so delicious! I loved the spicy tahini turmeric dressing, it complemented the salad so well! Definitely gonna visit again but I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
Very delicious. It is not too cheap but not too expensive, I added broccoli, eggs and some wontons and it costed a little over $12. But I would say it is filling so the price is not bad for the quantity. It tastes really fresh and I like the portion.
google avatar

Majlinda K.

Yelp
This review is just for the soup - nothing else. I got the chicken noddle soup and it cost $6. My cup was filled with broth, and I had a total of two noddles and a piece of chicken in there. It was really disappointing.

Robert G.

Yelp
Why don't you show where you delivery to BEFORE a customer goes through the order process ! Really poor website.

Yelp
My review is for build my own salad and avocado toast. The salad is fresh and fast service. The avocado toast is great. A multi grain toast topped woth smashed avocado, corn, and I think pickled red onio. Highly recommended

Yelp
Awesome location in Rittenhouse across from DeBruno Bros! The space is much bigger than I was expecting from watching construction before the opening, it is deep and narrow and spacious. The interior is very well designed, a clean modern look with white accents, gorgeous original brick walls, and new wood floors. There is a host stationed at the line filling out your order on a chit you pass to the buffet line associates who fills your order. Seems like a waste of paper, unless you are ordering a complicated make your own salad. The host was very friendly and told me the chipotle cowboy salad was the most popular, and while the contents sounded delish, it was also the highest in calories at 510. I went with the miso ginger shrimp bowl, 420 calories. The salad was good but I was rationed exactly 5 small shrimp ($9.45), so I was a little sad about that skimpage. The salad did seem a little smaller than the Sweetgreens salad bowl, maybe because they put it in a take out bowl? My friend had a different bigger bowl on a tray for her 'eat in' salad. I had asked to eat IN, but they gave me a take out bowl with lid and gigantic brown paper bag, I asked them to take it out of the bag and to save the bag because I was eating IN. I am trying to save the earth, geez! Speaking of trying to save the earth, I was surprised to see a label on the trash table that the bowls are not recyclable, humm... not liking that. These salad luncheonettes are trendy and popping up everywhere. Really happy to see Americans are getting healthier, hopefully one of these chains will branch into hundreds of franchises so a five-shrimp salad can be more affordable. I would also love to see more biodegradable or recyclable products in this plant based restaurant. I am surprised that a farm-loving restaurant isn't taking better care of the earth.
