Loved this place. Located in the heart of St. Michael's. Went there for an ice-cream and got a great experience. From the posters inside to the full story of Justine's ice-cream directly from the owner. So many flavors and all of them so delicious.

Google
Delicious ice cream shoppe in a quaint, charming town! Caramel cold brew and cookies & cream flavors were amazing! Within walking distances from several restaurants and cute stores.

Google
My wife and I were looking forward to this place all weekend while we were in town, and it didn't disappoint! We both ordered shakes, the German Chocolate and the Chocolate-Covered Marzipan shakes. Although they both sort of look the same in the pictures, they were delicious and unique. The German chocolate one had a lot of coconut in it and a whipped cream topping. The Marzipan shake had a great Marzipan flavor. It was nice to see the workers were both wearing masks! Definitely a good dessert shop!

Google
The ice cream was delicious, but I’m leaving a review because the customer service was outstanding! Thank you Justine’s for making our day😊

Morgan Burke

Google
Justine’s is awesome! We got the brownie sundae with mint chocolate chip and the single scoops were huge; you definitely get your moneys worth. The overall taste was absolutely delicious, I wish I could try everything on the menu. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Google
Nothing but great things to say about this place! I’m an ice cream connoisseur through and through, and this is hands down some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! On top of that, the guy who was serving me, misunderstood my order, and was such a sweetheart when he was fixing it. Fantastic customer service as well, 10/10!

Google
Great ice cream shop, with alot of varieties of flavors. Kiddie scoops are huge!! Recommend stopping by when in St. Michaels.

Google
A delightful little ice creamery! Lots of flavors and suggested combinations, and an ice cream challenge! They have a ton of shake and float options as well, and plenty of seating if you want to just chill out, though their cones are perfect for waking. The peanut ripple ice cream is just perfect, and they come up with unique combos too!

Yelp
An ice cream parlour in a cute village by the Cheasapeake? Yes please! We've been here several times and have always enjoyed a delicious creamy treat as we stroll around the town. Be it a cone, a sundae, or a shake you really cannot go wrong at Justine's. This particular trip I overindulged on an espresso chip sundae made with hot fudge, malt, marshmallow toppling and whipped cream. Literally three of the best toppings to pair with ice cream known to man. The malt - well, not really sure what that addd to the mix, but it didn't detract - so, who cares. The ice cream itself was simply divine. Rich and cream, bordering on gelato consistency. Definitely worth the stop. And the calories. Heck, you'll burn them off walking around. Or at least some of them...

Claudia R.

Yelp
Good service, super nice. Ice cream is good not incredible. Or what we were expecting. Just normal ice cream.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Scrumptious ice cream on Talbot St in St Michaels, MD. Terrific service. Loads of flavors.

Courtney K.

Yelp
Boy am I happy I decided to calorie bomb here- this may be the best ice cream I've ever had!! It was the chocolate covered pretzel caramel flavor. One scoop was an excellent value. Such a cute place! I'm still dreaming about that ice cream. Holy cow!

Molly M.

Yelp
Popped into justine's ice cream shop with my fam while we were bumming around St. Micheals. There was a line but it went quickly. The staff was nice and worked efficiently. I got the pistachio in a sugar cone, that's my jam;) it was delicious and creamy and hit the spot! I also got to try the butter pecan and rainbow sherbet. Really good ice cream! They have a few tables and chairs outside while you enjoy your yummy treat and lucky enough live music playing right across the street outside to enjoy.

Sandra D.

Yelp
A must visit place!!! Very small, no place for seating but excellent variety of ice cream flavors, very friendly and lots of history! If you visit st Michaels you can't miss it

Bill A.

Yelp
A single scoop bigger than your face and delicious! Server was nice and welcoming. Definitely a perfect spot to stop while touring St. Michael's.

Daniel F.

Yelp
Fantastic flavour and creaminess. Love all the options of shakes. The servers are very patient and interested in finding you the right flavour.

Johnnie S.

Yelp
Ice cream came in thin plastic cups that were wobbly and made it hard to eat thick ice cream... what was worse was the cheapest plastic spoons ever -- they bent constantly while trying to eat so it was very slow going, I went through 3.

Lurine J.

Yelp
Great service and perfect prices!! I had the pistachio ice cream! Great taste and perfect location. This was a great way to top off our wonderful day in this quaint town!

Julian W.

Yelp
Went here on a rainy day trip to St. Michael's with my girlfriend and was very pleased. I ordered a double scoop of the bourbon on the rocks and it is now one of my favorite flavors now. The flavor options are pretty good and the prices are fair. Would recommend preparing to take it to-go as there is limited seating inside.

John B.

Yelp
[Coronavirus review] They're open, with social distancing tape on the ground and shields separating cashier and customer. They must be doing decent business, because they were out of my favored mint chip and a couple of other flavors (and I dropped in well before closing). They're pretty much all dairy, and I wasn't blown away by the flavors they had left. My impression of them is elevated by a luminous pistachio that I ordered in shake form. There were quite a few actual pistachios in there (being dumb, I always order shakes with flavors that have small things that get stuck in straws), but frankly the actual nuts were not as good as the ice cream based on them. They made contactless payment pretty easy, and there are plenty of nice places in the neighborhood to get dinner beforehand and to eat your ice cream when you get it.

Erin L.

Yelp
Sweet heaven! The kid and the hubs got chocolate monkey and chocolate milkshakes. Both enjoyed their sweet treats! Whenever we are in town, we'll stop by this parlor for their ice cream. Plenty of choices to choose from!

Hillary G.

Yelp
What a cool place! We stopped here on our way down to Tilghman Island and were not disappointed. After being far too indecisive with the "shake wall" that had maybe 25 different concoctions (all mouth watering), we settled on a double scoop of "hot chocolate" with marshmallow swirls and caramel chocolate covered pretzel. Whoa! Loved them both but the chocolate covered pretzels took it home. Topped with heathbar ? Do it. Reasonably priced for a fancy ice cream place. Expect a long line. They move a bit slowly. Small seating area outside- more of a place to get a coke and walk around. Would love to return!

Lori W.

Yelp
Oh wow I have missed Justine's. After lunch at Gina's (fabulous, walking distance) be lined over to Justine's for my favorite ice cream! Seriously impressed the scoop is only $4! Remember to tip well. No samples due to COVID and I tried to pretend that I would get a different flavor but I always fall back on the same great one: sweet and salty caramel pretzel. One of these days I'll branch out and get mint chocolate chip or double fudge brownie. Support local! They really do it right here!

James C.

Yelp
For a vacation spot very reasonable prices Great flavors for choices Hawaiian Sundae toppings were great and generous

Bradley P.

Yelp
Justine's Ice Cream Parlour is another must-goto place in St. Michael's. Their ice cream is all homemade and really creamy. They have lots of choices of flavors and varieties of shakes. This time I ordered a scoop of pistachio, peanut butter and coconut. I'm a fatso, I know . They were all fabulous.

Kelsey N.

Yelp
The ice cream here is really good and so are the ice cream shakes. There is a wide variety of options and the place is well air conditioned.

Caroline S.

Yelp
We have come to Justines for years. The ice cream is great. The experience this evening was a turnoff. 2 people were serving, a young man of high school age and an older woman maybe in her 20s. The guy was delightful, hardworking, and pretty much taking the brunt of the shift. The woman was hard core unfriendly, sighing repeatedly like the customers she was paid to serve were annoying her. The line was backed up outside the door and moving exceedingly slow - we were in line for almost 30 minutes, inside the building, moving at a snails pace - it was ridiculously slow. She was behind the counter texting instead of serving and kept going back into the kitchen while the poor guy kept up. When she finally helped the couple in front of us, she bit their heads off because she couldn't hear them. They turned to us and commented about how hard it must be for her to have to do her job. We agreed. She treated everyone as though they were annoying. At about 8:30 she went to the entrance door where a long line had been patiently waiting forever and announced that they needed to know the store closed at 9pm and they may not be served. Many of those people just moved across the street to Jojos who were happy to serve them. A loss for Justines in both business and reputation. Hopefully this kind of employee doesn't continue to serve people because Justines will suffer. A paying customer should not be treated as a pain in the butt. A coworker should not have to do more than his share of the work and should not have to work with such a hostile person. 2 stars for the awesome ice cream. But with 2 other ice cream places a few steps away, maybe hire servers who appreciate the customers who assure their paycheck. We will go elsewhere next time, as many did tonight. Sad.

Kathea S.

Yelp
Ok so ice cream is not just ice cream. There is good ice cream, better and awesome. This falls into the awesome. Creamy. Smooth. Great mouthfeel. It helps that it was super hot but it really hit the spot. Really great flavors. I'd love to try one of their milkshakes next time. Really interesting combos. The titantic references are pretty funny. They even have a titantic related eating challenge. There are more than a few ice cream places in St Michaels but I would say to give this place top billing.

Kathy H.

Yelp
Great ice cream! The mocha milkshake is amazing!!!! Nice pit stop after the Maritime museum

Carson S.

Yelp
Hit the spot on A HOT day! Old fashioned ice cream! :) quaint little spot in the middle of town

Alex L.

Yelp
A nice and cute little ice cream shop. A short walk from the Maritime Museum. Very clean and setup well for Covid times. I ordered the cookies & cream with whip cream and chocolate fudge. Amazing, ice cream was very smooth and was the perfect temperature (not melting right away). If you are ever in St. Michael's definitely stop by for dessert. They have a lot of flavors, everyone in your group should find something they like.

Lauren W.

Yelp
Ice cream was great however my cake cone was extremely stale. Since we came after the busy 4th of July weekend I was grossed out by just how long that meant that cone had been sitting there...

Kati S.

Yelp
I stopped into Justine's after a fireworks show and big band concert at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. I wasn't super hungry but the store was so darn cute we had to go in! There are tons of flavors and various combinations for specialty shakes listed on the back wall for patrons to try. I opted for a double scoop of butter pecan and espresso chip in a waffle cone. I've never tasted ice cream so fresh! Both flavors were great, the waffle cone was delicious and the serving was very generous. Truly a store that's tastes as great as it looks!

Sarah O.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream parlor. I tried their salted caramel single scoop (which was huge) and my guest tried their s'mores sundae. We were both in a happy place. You could tell from looking inside freezer which flavors were definite favorites and which weren't even touched. Seating's a bit limited though we got to sit outside on a sunny day.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
The ice cream was okay, but nothing as great as everyone is saying on the reviews. I expected a wider (and more unique) listing of ice creams, and I felt they were just the standard flavors.

Elena M.

Yelp
I'm so biased. My son worked here for years so I can say these folks are hard working and kind. The ice cream is wonderful and the shakes are the best. I always get sad when they close for the season. Life is short. Get the waffle cone and try every shake. Totally worth the trip!!! Can't say enough good things.

Mara N.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream in unique flavors! You can always tell a great place by the long line outside. It was worth the wait though and needed on a hot evening. Their milkshakes look amazing too- next time I'm in town I will have to give them a shot!

Maria M.

Yelp
This is a very nice ice cream place in St Michaels. There are a lot of flavors and combinations, limited seating area outside to enjoy the warmer days. During the summer, the line could be long but it is worth it.

April S.

Yelp
Questionable item found in my brownie sundae. Don't think I will be coming back here.

Justin P.

Yelp
Came here to get some ice cream and it was delicious! It was a big serving for one scoop, very family oriented, price is perfect for favorful ice cream. Has a bathroom for your convenience, but limited seating if it gets extremely crowded. Staff was very friendly. I will come back again.

Kodi R.

Yelp
This place is great! I had a custom banana split and it was all delicious. My wife enjoyed her milkshake as well, and the Parlour worker was very chipper and friendly!

Lisa S.

Yelp
We decided to swing by here because we were hot and craving ice cream. Seating was a bit tight, but we managed to get a table inside. Only one guy was working, and things were moving a bit slow. We ordered a milkshake that had coffee/espresso in it, and they were out of coffee/espresso, but the guy behind the counter got creative to make the milkshake taste the same. We also ordered vanilla ice cream on a cone with rainbow sprinkles. It met my craving, but the ice cream was a tiny tiny bit off- a bit crystallized- but it still was enjoyable. The decoration inside was cute, and I'd definitely be back if I'm in Saint MIchaels again on a hot day!

Ruth D.

Yelp
Quite good ice cream. Tried churro and then peanut butter swirl. The churro had great flavor as did the peanut butter. Great balance, not underwhelming or overpowering. The churro was a smidge too fluffy and peanut butter (vanilla base) was a smidge too thick. With that said, I love ice cream and am hyper critical. (I have to bloody well jog it off so has to be worth the calories, obviously). This ice cream is 100% better than any Ben and jerrys, hagen dazs, etc and better than the ice cream shops in Amnapolis. Would love to see the parlor having a bit more character (to complement the great ice cream!). The servers were very kind and portions are huge. Also, kudos for your sugar cone recipe, some parlors skip it and it tastes like cardboard. I actually liked yours...

Patrick C.

Yelp
I stopped in for a double-scoop of their cherry ice cream and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Fantastic.

April G.

Yelp
We stopped by just after closing on Sunday night. Tyler the general manager saw our sad faces that wouldn't be able to come the next day. He was amazing! He gave us a quart of ice cream to "try" and we sat outside sharing with our friends with plastic spoons. Definitely a memory maker. Chocolate peanut butter pie!! Just do it!!

Kendy H.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream in St. Michael's. We each had single scoops which were generous. My husband had the espresso chip. It had an intense coffee flavor with dark chocolate chunks...very delicious! I had the Spumante which was loaded with pistachios. Also very rich and creamy. The shop is clean and staff was friendly and efficient. Our two singles cost 8 dollars which is reasonable for the area and quality of the ice cream. They have old fashioned benches out front, so have a seat and enjoy your treat while you people watch.

Beata K.

Yelp
Lot's of flavors to choose from and you can either get the ice cream in a cup, cone, sundae or shake. Even though there was a decent amount of flavors to choose from, a lot of them were pretty sweet so that didn't really appeal to me. I did really like the coffee/espresso flavor and came back for it twice during my stay here.

Wayne G.

Yelp
The ice cream is very good. CAREFUL, the inside table collapsed on my mom. They were aware of this problem before it collapsed on us but continue to use them. I'd eat outside if I were you. They offered to replace the ice cream. Minus one star for knowingly using unstable tables.

M S.

Yelp
This is the good stuff!! Ice cream that is all about flavor and much less about sugar.

Leigh D.

Yelp
My friend has a summer house near St. Michael's, and it's a summer tradition that she invites friends overall for a fun weekend get together. Also, a tradition is going to Justine's. That friend took me to Justine's in 2015, and I fell in love, not with my friend, but the ice cream. Although my friend gained more respect from me for suggesting such a superior ice cream. There are wide variety of flavors, and the ice cream is very flavorful. I go there every summer, and I look forward to going in again in 2019.

Tiffany Z.

Yelp
GET THE RASPBERRY OREO, TRUST ME!!! OMG. The young adults working here are super nice and down to earth! Totally friendly with us and the 4 and 9 year old we came in with. Definitely will be back.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Blackberry wine ice cream, nothing more needs to be said! Oh wait....merlot swirl, too.

jon l.

Yelp
This quaint ice cream shop had a large selection of flavors and tasty shake concoctions. The indoor space is virtually non-existent, so if it is raining another place would be a better idea. Otherwise this is definitely my go to creamery in St. Michaels. There are a few bistro tables on the sidewalk. The staff here are friendly and helpful too.

Renata K.

Yelp
It's delicious ice cream and for less than $9 we got practically a pint of ice cream combined: 1 huge scoop for me, 2 huge scoops for the bf. Difficult to finish it all!! Go and let yourself live a little. :)

Juliet A.

Yelp
Good ice cream, and the best shakes in town. I was hoping for some more unusual flavors than what they had here, but they are pretty much what you'd find at most ice cream places. Stand outs are the sweet and salty caramel crunch, espresso chip, and birthday cake. There is a "wall of shakes" where you can order up a more creative milkshake (usually a combination of flavors or the addition of something else, like a shot of espresso or cookie crumbles, etc) for an extra few bucks. Service was slow, but we got our sweet treats in the end!

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Justine's. Their wall of shake options is always tempting and remains on my summer to do list. I stick with the traditional waffle cones with a double scoop, or a hot fudge sundae, both of which are bigger than expected. There are a few ice cream options in town but this one is the best.

Karen W.

Yelp
Good ole American ice cream during a Memorial Day weekend trip. Justine's has a Wall of Shakes with all kinds of fun flavor combinations. We got the Creamsicle shake (orange juice, vanilla bean, and a secret ingredient) for $6 and it was refreshing and delicious! I saw some folks with two scoop ice cream cones and they were generous portions. The staff working there were very friendly as well!

Keith W.

Yelp
Good ice cream. Sunday afternoon in October, so no wait. A nice assortment of flavors, though not so many as to overwhelm one with too many choices. The salted caramel with chocolate covered pretzel chunks was quite tasty. Prices are what they are in a high priced tourist town, but two people could still have dessert for under ten bucks.
