The JW Marriott was beautiful. The rooms were spacious, and the amenities were fantastic. The hotel is located next to the old city wall and gate, which gives a great view of the city. The gate is only five minutes from the hotel. Across the street is a massive shopping area. It's more like a flea market with lots of segmented booths/shops. It's a tight fit, and the product is crammed in tight. It was overwhelming to me, and I didn't enjoy the shopping personally, but I could see the appeal. The shopping doesn't have anything to do with the hotel itself, but it's nice to be prepared for the surrounding area. The food market down the street was full of delicious food. The room was large. All the outlets were designed so that an adapter was not necessary. They were universal in design. The bathroom was beautiful, and I loved the waterfall shower. There is a shower and a tub that are separate.

A beautiful hotel in Seoul. Perfectly maintained, modern, and clean. The rooms are comfortable, and the service is fantastic. A lovely spa, and amazing gym as well. Many thanks to Mr. David at the concierge desk and Mr. Frank at reception for their professionalism and continuous help throughout our 5 night stay. ||Two minor points of feedback I’d raise are the amenities offered in the lounge outside of happy hour and the breakfast offerings of the main restaurant. During the evening there are limited refreshments offered in the lounge. A basket of snacks and fruits at a minimum would be a great touch. And the breakfast buffet, while extensive, offered little variety day over day, and we found ourselves getting tired of the same food by day 3. The breakfast also didn’t have waitstaff or a large variety of drink offerings. Even the coffee was self-serve, which is a bit of a let down at this level of a hotel. ||All in all, we’d definitely consider returning to this hotel on our next trip to Seoul thanks to the fantastic service, location, and facilities.

The hotel is located next to the Doota Mall in Seoul. The location is very central to the Seoul city. The rooms were large and modern. The important point to mention is you don't need any adaptor for electric appliance, as they have designed the electric points in universal pattern. We also had a conclave at the ballroom at basement floor. The ballroom was massive and elegantly decorated and designed. The food served at breakfast, lunch and dinner was just awesome in taste and presentation.

This is my second time to stay at JW Marriott Dongdaemun. You won’t be regret to be back here again and again as its superb location, accommodation, SPA, customer services, F&B outlets, last but not least, thumbs up to the hotel hair salon by Marie. Honestly, this is one of the reasons I would like to return stay. Appreciate much of Maria’s warm-hearted, responsive & professional service which completely made my day. Thank you to dear Maria and look forward to seeing you again soon^^

Outstanding hotel with service to match. The lounge had excellent food and drink selection and one of the better exec lounges I have visited. Breakfast in main restaurant also very good with a very wide range of good options. The only slight negative was some level of road noise came through.

Great location, but the hotel spent more on shiny décor than room size – felt like staying in a luxury shoebox! As for the ‘complimentary’ breakfast, it was the same every day. By day three, I opted for street food. Not planning on coming back! t the breakfast after the third day and go out to get street food instead of hotel buffet breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of tasty options. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside was the slow language Gap, English could be a little bit better. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again.
