"Gallic Flair at French Grill Although the new JW Marriott Hotel is slightly inconveniently located in a new business district a long way from the centre of Hanoi , it is is worth making the trip there for this fancy restaurant alone. As the name suggests, there's an emphasis on French methods here. However, there's nothing fiddly about the stunning steaks and seafood morsels grilled by the expert chefs."

"The JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi is, among other things, a symbol of the Vietnamese capital’s aspirations as an ultra-modern, cosmopolitan city. It’s a contemporary, even somewhat futuristic structure, overlooking not the Old Quarter but the National Convention Center. And if there are echoes of colonial style in its interiors, they’re faint ones — it’s reminiscent instead of the modern luxury hotels of other East Asian capitals, from Singapore to Shanghai. An expansive spa and fitness center includes a remarkable indoor pool, and among its bars and restaurants are Japanese and Cantonese options." - Tablet Hotels

Review for JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi – 5 Stars ||From the moment we arrived at the JW Marriott Hanoi, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The architecture is striking—modern, sleek, and a true landmark in the city. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a luxurious and comfortable stay.||The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches—from high-thread-count linens to a stunning view of the lake or city skyline. Every detail reflected the hotel's commitment to quality. ||Dining at the hotel was a highlight. French Grill offers a refined culinary experience, and the breakfast buffet at JW Café is one of the best I’ve had, with a wide selection of local and international cuisine.||The executive lounge staff was the best—truly attentive, thoughtful, and always going above and beyond to ensure a flawless experience. Their service added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.||A convenient perk was the free shuttle to the Old Quarter, running multiple times daily (around 9 AM, 1 PM, and 6 PM) with advance reservation. It’s a hassle-free way to explore Hanoi’s vibrant streets. Just be sure to reserve your spot the night before.|The executive lounge, fitness centre, and indoor pool are world-class, and the spa services are a luxurious way to unwind after days out exploring.||Located near the National Convention Center, with the shuttle to the Old Quarter and seasonal holiday events in December, the JW Marriott Hanoi is ideal for both business and leisure travellers looking for tranquility, elegance, and top-tier service in Vietnam’s vibrant capital.||Special Thanks, to Ms. Thoa Natalie and Ms.Thu Prom.

Our overall experience was outstanding. The food, service and people are all worthy of five stars. It is a little far from the city center but close to the airport. The shower in the room was great and the spa on site was very relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Hanoi. The hotel is modern and stylish, about 30 minutes from the airport. The front desk and bellboy were extremely helpful—they assisted with changing my mom’s room after check-in because it was a bit too far from the elevator, which we really appreciated. The French restaurant was a highlight of our trip—it made our anniversary dinner truly special. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a super soft bathrobe(seriously, I wanted to take it home). The only minor downside is that the area around the hotel doesn’t have much to do, so it’s more suited for relaxation than exploration. Overall, a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and elegant stay in Hanoi.

Everything that you expect a JW marriott to be and then some more. Had a wonderful short stay at this property and cant wait to visit again. I moved after 1 night at Sheraton, west after a bad experience and I am so glad that I did. Right from all the facilities to very very helpful staff, there is not one negative point about this hotel. Location is far from the old city, but they have a shuttle, which i could not use due to short stay. The manager ( dont remember name, but she has moved from Singapore) was really very sweet. We had such a good chat and she even got me some great coffee recommendations to bring back home. Highly recommend !!!

I traveled to Vietnam from North Carolina on business/vacation and was suggested to stay at the JW Marriot. I have traveled across the Americas and Europe, and I have to say, this was one of the best stays away from home. My experience was excellent from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The hotel is well-organized, well-managed, secure, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. For example, their doorman (Doan) arranged for a personal tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter just because he wanted to make sure I visited Hanoi’s best attractions in short notice. Rooms are serviced daily, sometimes more than once if they see you spending time in the room, their morning buffet has all sorts of Vietnamese/Asian goodies, they have great internet access, and the lake-side gardens make for beautiful morning walks. I miss the proud peoples of Vietnam and I feel that is in part because of where I stayed. I highly recommend this place to other travelers.

Wonderful hotel here in Hanoi! Service is amazing & the rooms are great. I stayed here a couple times during the two weeks I was visiting Vietnam. I’d say the standout part about this hotel is their breakfast, lots of options & a great variety of cuisines to try. The staff is great & attentive to your requests.

Fantastic property! The gym and pool are awesome. There are tons of dining options on site, and all are delicious. John Anthonys was our favorite meal! The service was impeccable, and the quality of food was exquisite. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the airport, old quarter, and shopping, but it was very easy to order a grab from the property and get to those locations. Would love to stay here again!
