JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE

We really enjoyed our three night stay JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE. The location is great, a short walk from downtown LA and next to the convention center and arena. Of course, keep in mind that LA is gigantic and that this is potentially an hour away from Santa Monica/Venice beach -- though you can get there on the metro. We had a corner king room on the 21st floor (top floor). It was spotless clean, well-appointed with comfortable furniture and had plenty of room to lounge around. The bathroom had a large window with a view, too. Really good water pressure in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and so was the lounge chair. Though the room and its decoration seemed a bit bland at first, it really grew on me, especially after seeing a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. The pool is awesome and I made sure to get a daily swim in it. The executive lounge serves a very good breakfast, and I really appreciated that it is well staffed and kept very clean. I loved seating in the outdoor area. The staff we dealt with was very nice, courteous, polite efficient. We'll happily return!

I have stayed at the JW Marriott by LA Live many times, but my experience with Evelyn during check-in was fantastic. After a long flight and juggling multiple reservations for a work event I’m hosting, Evelyn put me completely at ease and handled everything so smoothly that I had zero worries. It genuinely felt like she had done this hundreds of times, even though the situation was complex. She could tell I was exhausted and kindly offered me water, which most hotels never think to do during check-in. That small gesture really stood out. Her warmth and professionalism made the start of this trip feel welcoming and effortless. The JW Marriott is fantastic in so many other ways, from the stylish rooms and creative gym to the fabulous restaurants and a thoughtful executive lounge that serves a solid breakfast. One thing I always look forward to is the pool and hot tub. They are ideal for lounging between meetings and winding down after a long day. The hot tub, especially, is the perfect place to clear my head and just relax. I honestly feel like I’m at a JW Marriott resort whenever I spend time by the pool. It adds a level of calm that helps balance out the busyness of my schedule. Overall, this is one of my absolute favorite hotels, and Evelyn made it even better. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.

The service from the valet to reception to the porter was impeccable. The room was immaculate and even the other people staying at the hotel were courteous, well natured and super helpful. There wasn't anything at this hotel that I did not love. I want to give special mention to the no extra cost bottles of water in the room and not having to ask for fresh towels and coffee maker refills. (Disney and Gaylord hotels....are you listening?!?) these touches mean everything because I don't want to be squeezed for every cent) The JW seemed to have understood the assignment!

Our family had an excellent stay at the JW Marriott this weekend for my son’s volleyball tournament. The highlight was the impeccable service and kind staff. Landy with dining services was particularly helpful and we appreciated her warm smile every morning at the lounge. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean, all the amenities you can think of and excellent service. The people are extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk to the valets, everyone is great. The room was luxurious and shockingly quiet considering the location.

I stayed for four nights to watch the Dodgers. The location was excellent — close to the stadium and surrounded by many great restaurants and cafés. While the area may not be considered the safest, the hotel and its immediate surroundings were well-lit and felt very comfortable. The room was clean, the gym was fully equipped, and I would definitely like to stay again.

Enjoyed my stay here! Wonderful service, in the heart of LA, a little noisy but expected as LA is a busy place. Hotel with 24/7 security guards, and the rooms were excellently clean by maids, and when i went there it was great! One of my most memborable "Hotel" Moments.

STUNNING DTLA HOTEL! I've been an AX attendee for the last several years and I'm so happy to share that this hotel always enriches my experience! I'm delighted to visit the platinum ballroom each year. It's elegant, spacious and beautiful. I love that this hotel has a bunch of escalators and stairs. I'm able to traverse the Marriott easily during con season! Overall, the staff is pretty friendly. I haven't gotten a rude or obnoxious person yet. The hotel opens up its bar for us and becomes the Crunchyroll bar during AX. It's a neat bar with plenty of tasty-looking drink selections. I've tried the hotel's Italian restaurant Savoca and it's not half bad, I enjoyed it! I love that the hotel has large restrooms and plenty of places to sit. Even when there's limited seating the carpets are always impeccable. Can't wait to return next year!

Location. Downtown LA. About 10 restaurants within walking distance. I wouldn't walk here at night. Driving in to hotel about a block away a gang banger looking guy almost hit my car. Driving in the sidewalk on a beater bike. Cave out from under a dark overpass in my left side as I approached intersection He didn't stop to look for cars and cane at us full speed from in that dark area and I had to slam on the brakes. Not a good start. Pulling into hurry is easy. Go to the JW dude, not the Ritz Carlton entrance. Hotel is nicely built and solid. Our room was very quiet. Pool and hot tub are in 4th floor but it was windy and cold out and the pool water feels about 78. Too cold for the conditions. It's salt water. The concierge lounge is available for breakfast buffet only if you have Marriott status or pay extra. I am platinum so I have access. Always join Marriott rewards in the Bonvoy app and reserve through the app to get free internet. Elevators will only work with a room key for safety. Valet parking is $55 a day. Resort fee $20. We arrived hungry and it was about 5 pm so we headed to lobby bar and ordered wings, garlic fries., guac & chips, salsa, and a set of 3 tacos. Fries were great, tacos good and wings (6) were great. Guac fresh. Chips kinda stale. However a mandatory 20% tip turned me off. I normally tip 15%. We walked over to the coffee bar place in hotel and got large cups of ice cream. $5 each. Update. Upon checking out I looked at my hotel bill to find someone had dinner at the hotel and charged it to my room number. I had to wait and have a manager take about $110.00 extra off my account.

Location, location, location!!! Beautiful property in the entertainment center of DTLA. It's a short walk from the staples center and everything. Food is avail near by... including HOT DOGS WRAPPED IN BACON!!!

Absolutely amazing experience staying at this property! Fantastic rooms, very spacious with nice bedding, updated furnishings and bathrooms, sound proofing, quiet A/C. Beautiful lobby, a huge and well maintained gym, room service runs late and the price is reasonable with the deal they run ($40 back in food credit for every night stay). Conference facilities are lovely and very accessible, the convention center is a short walk away. Right next door is the Grammy Museum and you get free admission with the stay. Food was good quality and service was impeccable. I would absolutely return and recommend this for business or pleasure travelers.

I do enjoy a great experience when it comes to hotels, and JW Marriot doesn't disappoint. Although I ended up requesting a room with a tub to relax, I feel it got downgraded a tad. I have 2 double beds now, vs. a king, but that's fine. The accommodations are nice and the rooms (besides carpet) are clean and nicely done in modern motifs. The carpet is dirty and although vacuumed, not at all clean. So if you have allergies, prepare. The bathroom is adequate, and the tub is nice also. It still has a shower, so in case. I have a view on the 16th floor that overlooks the pool, which is nice also. I think it's okay for a room, but again, I should have kept my original room as it seemed more put together and very nice. A lot of amenities here and 24-hour service is great.

with the luxurious bedding presented when i first entered the room, I assumed that if I called for an extra blanket to laze on the couch with, it would be equally nice. How wrong I was. This....thing was so absolutely useless. I've had blankets at shady airport motels that were thicker and softer than this abomination. How JW MARRIOTT can justify having such abysmal bedding for guests is beyond me.

It was phenomenal to be in the presence of all the TV Emmy nominees on Friday whilst strolling through the hotel lobby. Then even bigger buzz to feel the hype the following day for the Emmy's being hosted at the hotel's banquet hall. They had a giant sized Emmy award that you could take photos with. The energy in the lobby on both days were electric!

I stay all over the country at Marriotts and this has to be one of the best. The room was clean, modern, and had lots of space. Yeah drinks are pricey but the bartenders and wait staff were friendly. Front desk staff was equally good. Not mention lots of walkable eateries in the area. I'll be staying here from here on out. Will recommend to anyone.

Stayed here just to catch a lakers game. Crypto arena is right across the street. We had Nancy as a server at glance lobby bar. She was fantastic. Although Michigan team was staying at hotel for rose bowl, I really liked the vibe and service of hotel at we got ready for the lakers game. Go lakers!!!

9/9/23 Attending Greater LA Oncology Care Summit (7th Annual) Woohoo This place is perfectly ideal for this symposium. By chance, met up with old co-workers from Norris Cancer Hospital here and classmate from nursing school!! What are the chances!? We're both in Oncology! This hotel is amazing. Take note, this review is mainly for attending a conference for the Oncology Care Summit & it is well suited to accommodate care providers. Everything is clean & organized, staff are super attentive. Parking, I cannot comment because I was dropped off but valet is just as helpful. The continental breakfast is extensive, see photos (coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs--nice spread!! For lunch, boxed meals: turkey wraps, chicken Caesar, vegetarian, delicious! Desserts too, cookies & oh, fresh fruits! Overall, it is centrally located & I loved the reception! Would happily return next year for the 8th Annual GLAONS Oncology Care Summit 2024-I already signed up! Incentive was the chance to win $1,000 Hawaiian Airlines gift card! Wish me luck!!

Central location but crazy parking. Came here for a conference. Getting to the ballrooms involved multiple up and down escalators and a decent walk. Looks nice overall.

What a beautiful and lovely stay at JW Marriott downtown LA. It was so conveniently positioned next to the convention center and Cryto Arena. We walked mere minutes to our K-Con LA 2023 Destination. This Marriott had all the wonderful amenities, stunning lobby, the pool and workout room was beautiful, and gorgeous restaurants and shops to match. Our room and bathroom was splendid and housekeeping and staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming. The19th floor team kept our rooms sparkling and spotless returning from our daily events. We had the best time here and will forsure return for next years Kcon!

This property is conveniently located downtown and the service in every aspect is nothing short of impeccable. Each individual was so kind and helpful. We had a delicious meal with great service at the on property restaurant. The breakfast spread in the executive lounge was impressive and delicious. Our room was well appointed with all amenities needed, comfortable and spacious. There is a very convenient indoor passage connecting to the Ritz Carlton aa well. The staff at this property are top notch.

Overall a 3.5 star experience. Was here for an all day networking conference for AREAA. The facilities were nice. The continental bkfst was nice enough. - They could offer cut fruit (not whole apples, oranges and bananas) The lunch was great. Portions were good/solid and filling. - Their coffee is very bitter (like day old coffee) - But their teas are amazing: a brand called ROAR Their restrooms are ok. - To wash your hands the water provides a very small stream of water (not good) - Some of their toilets weren't flushing The facilities were nice. - The chairs in the ball room are a bit dated / aged The parking is very very expensive. $60 per day without our AREAA discount code. You will have to wait in line to pay, and also wait for your car. It's quite an effort to use their valet. - Make sure you go to P2 to get to the correct valet level - Although drop off is at the street level, pick up is further below, and you have to take the correct elevator too

Front Staff are friendly and helpful, as well as the Housekeeping Staff. The location is convenient as I was attending a Convention at the LA Convention Center, it's within walking distance.

Great service, great above and beyond attitude, great personalities. Welcoming, high energy, good vibes. These vibrations rocked throughout the entire hotel, from valet to FRONT DESK to bartender at the pool (special props to our bartender!) to our server at the restaurant. Super fun, interactive, and attentive energy from everyone we interacted with. I had to return about a week later when my Uber driver returned my driver's license that slipped out of my pocket in his car. Security was professional and service was at the forefront, in person and even on the phone when they were checking the "lost and found." During this retrieval mission, I mentioned a charge that was mistakenly added to my bill, and the front desk saw to it that it would be immediately rectified, with such a sparkling attitude. Thanks JW! The entire stay was spot on!

The location of JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE is excellent if you're attending an event at the convention center or the Cryoto Center--everything is within walking distance. During our stay, we found the housekeeping and front desk staff to be consistently courteous and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Room service was prompt, and the food was good value for money.

I've stayed here 2 times always extremely overpriced in every way . They charge and overcharge for everything. Pool is on the roof and overlooks plaza. Walkable to Nokia live/staples center. Rooms are standard nothing special. Clean.

We arrived here in LA for USC graduation at 130 am to be told that our hotel room was already given away. They gave it to someone with similar last name and total different first name. Apparently, the front desk person did not check the persons ID. They called the room to check if anyone was in our assigned room. This person was upset to be woken up at almost 2 am. We waited about half an hour for them to find a solution. The hotel was booked! No rooms for upgrade, but they did find a similar size room. They tried to compensate us with wine( we don't drink,so got complimentary snacks and water from the store instead. They also gave us hotel points worth 1 night room stay. However, when we checked out, they still had the wrong name, with our correct address on bill statement. They charged us for the the bottled water. Despite the mix up, Amenities were good, complimentary breakfast was fair-moderate. The person that discovered the mistake was professional and calm. Had to remind them at checkout to do give us compensation points because it was not in our account. Street parking is limited and had to pay for Valet Parking at $50/night which I thought was steep. There was a long wait for drop off and pick up because it was so busy. Texting ahead of time did not apply because of graduation, basketball game weekend. We had to go down and request our car at valet.

The JW Marriott at LA Live is one of my favorite Marriott properties of all time, and we've stayed at many throughout the world. They put the Live in LA Live. Customer service is great, cleanliness is superb, the views are incredible, the valet does an awesome job, and the location is perfect. You're able to walk to great bars and restaurants, as well as venues such as Crypto Arena or Peacock, which has great concerts. We were able to come downstairs from our amazing room and walk a few feet to attend a concert at Peacock. There's always action downstairs, and they take care of Elite members well. The best place to enjoy your hard-earned status is the breakfast. Best breakfast at a Marriott property of all time. Lastly, the gym was outstanding, and also the best gym I've experienced on a Marriott property. The pool's outstanding city views are hard to beat as well. We can't wait to go back, if you've never been, it's a must-stay in LA. Keep up the good work!!!

We had a union meeting at this hotel. The hotel was a great host. The venue was nicely set up. The food was great and it was well set up. I hope we have more union meetings here.

Super disappointed in the service level here. Paid $600 for a room and can't get 2 sodas and a shrimp cocktail for my son in less than 2 hours?! What happening to Marriott?

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. The amenities were great, the room was clean, and the staff were phenomenal. I loved that the hotel has an entrance to the ritz Carlton side so that you can enjoy the restaurants at the ritz. I'm looking forward to a longer stay the next time.

Location is good next to LA Live and with constant taxi and Uber representation. However. Lobby is always busy and the driveway entrance can be a hot mess. Room service is surprisingly good but can take awhile. Wine bar was terrible with wine flat and lukewarm. Don't call yourself a wine bar if you can't serve fresh wine and proper temp. Rates are on the high side for a convention focused hotel. I have stayed several times here and corner suite is best but can be noisy. Housekeeping is efficient and professional. I literally had to go to vending machines on 3 floors to find a soda machine that works. And they are served warm. Terrible. I give this hotel a thumbs sideways. I think with newer hotels like The Conrad opening up, the JW needs to step up its game.

Breakfast in the hotel. They have a buffet or you can order "cook to order" and we opted in for that. The server was so nice and invited us to take anything from the buffet bc they were closing and the food goes to waste, which was so nice. The service was EXCELLENT! Food was good. I had bacon eggs and home fries.

Popped into the lobby bar before a show at the novo for a quick drink and Michael was delightful, efficient and full of good tips for DtLA after having a bad experience at our previous spot he was a breath of fresh air and the drinks were great! Cheers!

Everything you would expect from JW property. Beautiful and happening lobby. I stayed here for a business trip. Room very nicely appointed. Good working space. Not much for views though. Service was excellent. Comfortable and functional room. I didn't use many of the other spa amenities during this trip. Walking distance to convention center. The ritz is also adjoining. Would stay here again if had to be in the area in particular.

For years I've been eyeballing the JW Marriot and never got around to stay at this location and recently my gf suprised with comedy tickets to a show downtown and I figured this would be a great oppurtunnity to check this place out and I was really pleased! Booked a kind room for a Saturday- Sunday stay. I was able to check in at 1PM (check in is 4pm) and that just set the tone for the day. My room was located on the 11th floor and I had a cute view of LA/Hollywood and the Hollywood sign. Room was very clean and the interior had modern decor. Room had a smart TV which was a big plus for us. Small refrigerator and coffee maker was provided which was helpful. We had a meal and a couple drinks at the resteraunt that's in the lobby and it was so good! Very suprised with the wagyu burger I had. Solid 10/10 burger. We had one of their signature pineapple cocktails and it was so good as well. Overall great experience eating here. The fact that this place is so conveniently located to the staples center is awesome. Staff was extremly friendly and helpful and that was very appreciated. After this stay they have defenitly won my buisness and I will be coming back. Thanks for the great hospitality.

This location is very convenient to downtown and the lobby is grand. Super nice view from our room as well, however the AC that blows through this place is loud and i had a hard time sleeping, but if i turned it off, it got too hot. For a newer location I would stay at the Ritz instead. We are titanium members and first off the bathroom was not cleaned as there was pee stained that were dried on the seat and there was dust bunnies on the window sill. They did move us and apologized, but i would expect more from a JW... this is something i would expect from a motel or 2 star hotel... SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I will say however, the staff at this location is not very friendly... anytime you may ask them a question, it feels like it is an inconvenience and literally no one ever greets you... the concierge desk person one day was even wearing a tee shirt with his name badge and didn't seem to have a care in the world other than to look at his phone and sit back... DO BETTER MARRIOTT!!

This is probably my 5th stay at the JW Marriott this year and I'm very excited to say that this is my #1 go-to hotel! JW Marriott has it all! Great room, great food, great staff (hotel, dining, and valet) and I wish I've written more reviews to share my appreciation to each of the staff I meet! Today, Dani helped check me in and Victor brought our bags to our room :) Thanks JW Marriott!!

Stayed here for four nights recently and this property has been around since I started coming to Los Angeles for work in the late 1980s. Huge property catering to the Business Traveler with a large Horseshoe Bar and a Club Lounge on the 18th floor. Room was clean and staff was hat I had interactions with from the Front Desk, Valet, Engineering, The Hanger Bartender, Starbucks Barista, etc displayed the Marriott standard of guest service. My only complaint was on Day 3, I had issues with using my room card to enter or depart from the self parking lot and I did not see an Attendant call button so that I could speak with someone. Also on that same day, the smoke alarm started to faintly beep with Engineering changing out the exterior cover which did not work and I ended up being moved to another room for my last nights stay. Without asking they had removed my $60 a night parking charge which was really nice.

If you're attending an event around the area, this hotel was the best to stay at! Walking distance to Crypto, Convention center, Grammy Museum, Microsoft Theater, or anything at LA Live is so close. Not only is it convenient, but the JW Marriott brand is always nice to stay at. The staff are very nice and helpful, and making sure we're taking care of, also helps if you're a Titanium member. Recently, stayed in a King Suite, and it was super spacious. No complaints with the room, but it is a bit dated, but the room did its job. FYI, valet pick up is not in the front of hotel, you take the other set of elevators to go downstairs to get your car. I wish someone told us sooner instead of us waiting outside for our car. And having it downstairs actually the car pick up is quick.

the worst service ever. i am working like a driver. it was private ride. i just need to wait for VIP customers, but vallet guy start talking very rude, after it I asked manager to come and fix this problem, but he is also talked not polite. so they said that it's my problem and they don't care where i supposed to wait my client. hope next time they will choose another hotel. Strongly not recommend this place, just because of rude people who worked here. P.S. I didn't even been inside. And don't want!!!

I went for the breakfast buffet this morning - service was good and food was decent . I noticed a significant hike in the price from 32 to 37 bucks tho . That would be ok if they had the old school buffet with the nova lox for the bagels, but as currently constituted its not worth that high a price even with my discount !

A beautiful hotel in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Across the street from Crypto Arena and one block from the L.A. Convention Center. Everything was within walking distance~ restaurants, bars and shopping. Inside the hotel it is modern and upscale. The ground floor offering a bar lounge, a restaurant, a gift shop and a coffee shop where you can buy water and soda. Second floor, the hotel has a spa and a great gym. Like most hotel areas for guests~ i.e. pool or gym. A functional room key card is needed to access these areas including the use of the elevators. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. My wife and I were envious of the bed in our hotel room. Better than the one at home. Our view from our room on the 17th floor overlooked Crypto Arena and most of downtown. The view itself was nothing less than spectacular especially at night. The bathroom also boasting a good view had a nice big shower. The service here is very good. Like most upscale hotels. The staff is well trained in making your stay a memorable one. Every employee we came into contact with was so nice and professional from the front desk, cleaning crew, parking valet, restaurant staff, the bartender to the ladies in the gift shop. Overall, a perfect stay. Wished we could of stayed longer but my wife and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend staying here. A beautiful hotel in the middle of downtown Los Angeles.

Location is great! The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. The room is spacious. We had an issue with the room we got assigned originally. It had a very noxious smell when we returned from lunch. I informed the front desk and my room got changed without any hassle. Thanks for the competence of their staff. Another issue was the toilet. At first I didn't realize it was the toilet. I thought there's construction going on. But as the day went by and after using the toilet a few times, I realized everytime I flushed, it made a horrible sound. Like you're in the middle of a construction site kind of noise. So everytime i heard that sound i knew someone, somewhere in the building was using the bathroom. It's a poop alert sound! I hope they do something about this. Overall, it was a good short stay.

My union had a event, there and the place was awesome, clean and the service phenomenal. The staff was attentive and service was excellent!!! They were so organized.. I recommend this place to everyone!!!!

I came here because it was close to The Awards. I stayed at another Marriott and it was pretty nice but I told myself I wanted to upgrade to the JW for my birthday. Let me just say. This hotel was everything I wanted it to be and more. I might try the Ritz Carlton next time or I might just upgrade my room if I decide to go to any other awards in L.A. this was truly the place to be. I ended up going out to the club that night but honestly everything I needed was here. I didn't sleep in my bed because I was literally out here for less than 24 hours and I pulled an all nighter but I was still impressed with my room. I can't wait to come back here when I have time to relax in my hotel room.

Nice rooms and overall hotel. Personnel are very friendly, helpful and professional. Dining options in hotel are underwhelming. Restaurant on first floor is overpriced and food quantities are small, especially given the pricing. Morning breakfast options open too late if you have an early morning start. Had to doordash our breakfats in to stay on our schedule. Gym is ok. Needs a Concept2 rower. Smart and Final nearby if you need groceries. Yardhouse nearby is very good. Tom's Watch Bar has terrible service.

The JW Marriott is conveniently located downtown next to Crypto Arena and restaurants. We had a room on the exec club level which included daily breakfast in the club. It had a decent selection of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cooked foods. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a huge bathroom window with a view of the city and the Hollywood sign.

It was a pretty good 3 day stay here! The 50th UNAC (United Nurses Association of CA) Convention was held here. The service was spectacular,ladies and gentlemen! Every staff was friendly and polite,I don't think I can remember the last time I had experienced excellent hotel treatment as great as this. Being in the middle of LA Live,there are so many things to do around,bars and restaurants are everywhere. The lobby bar had great drinks and food as well. Housekeeping service here was efficient. Not a bad word about my stay. Just amazing.

This was my first time staying at the JW Marriott in the L.A. live area. It is a super nice hotel and one of the better ones in the area! Ambiance: The lobby is huge and there is so much going on. There are a few restaurants, a bar, and a coffee area all in that open space. Outside of the hotel there is also so much to do: iceskating, bowling, and a movie theater !! Hotel Accommodations: The hotel has a really nice elite lounge with pretty good breakfast and a good selection of drinks (juices/sodas/waters). The lounge is closed on the weekends so they allowed all elite members to get free breakfast at the restaurant. The breakfast was good!! There was buffet style breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes) and also an omelette bar on the side! I loved getting to make my own omelette with various ingredients. Hotel Activities: There was also a lot of cool activities the hotel offered us. Free wine tasting event where we can go to the restaurant and try wine. Free bowling and also free small popcorn at the movie theater. I loved how the hotel offers so many activities to their guests. Room: The room is super spacious and clean! The room itself is very standard for a Marriott hotel. The bed was comfy and overall felt very clean which is important to me. The bathroom was also pretty nice! The staff is also very accommodating and would constantly offer us waters or new towels!

This is the hotel you want to stay at if you're staying downtown! I picked this hotel because it was close to the regent theater. I try to get a hotel close to where I'm going to. The checkin process was easy. Valet is in the front of the building. To pick up your car you use the elevators by the gift shop. My room was on the fourth floor. It's a king bed with a view. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. Plugs were conveniently located to charge my phone. My room also had a desk and tv in it. Even a good selection of channels to choose from. I loved everything about this hotel.

Great location to the conference center and downtown. Clean rooms and felt very safe.

This hotel is great for a nice stay in downtown LA but is needing some tweaks to feel the price is worth it. Parking to arrive is atrocious! I think we definitely got in at a high volume time and they are not equipped to handle it, be prepared to sit out on street for 30+ min. The crazy part is when you get inside you're thinking it's going to be a long line for check in and it wasn't! We walked right in. Now one thing they don't say is valeting to the garage. There is actually a separate elevator you take to get to valet and that's not something they tell you........and they should. They also don't throw away the cups in the car. I know this one of those; throw your own trash away BUT the Marriott Residence Inn across the street.......their valet does it! It's a great small gesture that leaves a lasting impression. The bar in the downtown lobby is pretty cool and decent. Mi Amor loved the pineapple bliss and I equally enjoyed the Limón. Now food; I personally wouldn't eat there but if it's late and there's nothing else is good. I enjoyed the cheese pizza, it's seems as if it's baked in one of those open flame ovens and the crust had a wonderful garlic flavor incorporated in. I had the margherita pizza and you should skip it. There's too much tomato sauce on it for it to be enjoyable. I think I ate maybe a slice of it. Room service was pretty quick in time, I think the longest we waited was 45 minutes and there was a mix up; in which they were very accommodating in fixing. :) The rooms were very clean and housekeeping came through daily. They even somehow adapt themselves to your time and when you are ready for them which was nice. Housekeeping did some nice touches of putting my toiletries on separate towels which was very thoughtful and appreciative. It's a cool restaurant for a downtown stay but be prepared to feel a little underwhelmed for the price point.
