JW's Patio

Absolutely delicious. I came for dinner on a Saturday night, the host was friendly and greeted with a smile. My server, Quincy, was quick to greet me and get my drink order. The margarita was delicious and strong! I also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, the crab stuffed salmon, and the tres leches cake. The appetizer was quick to the table, hot, and absolutely delicious. A well balanced flavor profile between the delicate umami from the crab and mushrooms with the richness of the gouda cheese. Soon after the crab stuffed, crawfish risotto, and seasoned veggies arrived. Hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The salmon had a nice crisp on the edges to it and the sauce was amazing. Very rich but not too much. The crawfish risotto was incredible, so creamy, so bold. I also enjoyed the seasoned veggies, very simple flavor profile that added a nice complement to the rest of the entree. The tres leches cake was absolutely divine. I highly recommend, even if you think you can't eat anymore at least order it to take it home! 10/10 experience. Quincy was very attentive but not overbearing. Very knowledgeable of the menu as well, very friendly, very kind!

Came for lunch yesterday. The hostess was not friendly, in her own world. The waitress took 10 minutes to come get our drink order. After that, she was great, took our order, brought our food out quickly. The food was AMAZING! We got herbed marinated grilled chicken with sweet potato and grilled veggies, as well as, the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The asparagus was not cooked right. Other than that, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was SOOO good!

Food was very good and the portion size was spot on too. I got the Taco salad, probably one of the best resturant salads I've ever had. Wife got the chicken pita it was a 4 star for her. She thought the humus came on the side. So with it being on the chicken and the pita it made it a little different. For being a super nice resturant the noise level was louder than most places, but didn't make for a negative review. I would definitely visit this establishment again.

The food was pretty good along with the service. I also got the "Dirty Bayou," which comes with stuffed Feta Cheese Olives. The first one was great, but on the second one, they just put regular olives in it. Also, I never got my refill of water- no big deal, overall. I tried the Lamb Burger, which had a good variety of flavors. I enjoyed how you can substitute the fries with many other options. The outside dining area was a good environment. This place has a good variety of different dishes, too.

*Edited to add* we do frequent this restaurant and ALWAYS enjoy it! If you’re local and don’t eat here regularly.. what are you doing with your life!? We enjoyed the best dinner at JW's Patio over the weekend. We were out and about for a girl's night and had dinner (and Mimosas) here - and every single one of our entrées were delicious! Our dinners included- scallops, grilled chicken, Al Pastor tacos.. everything was incredibly flavorful and plated so beautifully. We plan to frequent this place! Definitely recommend!

Our waitress was fantastic. We celebrated a birthday. The food was fantastic. I got the nachos but made with fries instead of tortilla chips it was so good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and holiday cocktails. They even let us bring a cake from a local bakery. We love JW patio.

On our road trip each year we go round the gulf shore along I 10...and find different places to eat some good food.. And this place didn't disappoint at all. It was clean great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. We had the stuffed mushrooms. Soooo good. Tacos were amazing See pictures..sorry they don't do it justice...

I have been eating here for a couple years and it’s always consistent and delicious. The flavor profile of each dish is different and sophisticated. The Lamb-burg-ini is out of this world and the fries are fresh cut. Lately I’ve been addicted to the southwest fried goat cheese starter with a half size side wedge salad. Filling enough for a full meal. The crispy eggplant is pretty addictive as well. The fish and chips are authentic and a perfect taste of England. All the salads are so flavorful. Mixed drinks here are great. Service is always friendly and they don’t mind when you stay awhile talking with friends. I’ve never felt rushed out. Great place to go for a night out or a business lunch. Atmosphere is great for all. The patio is always comfortable, even if it’s cold or rainy. Plenty of seating inside or outside. Never had to wait long for a table. I spent$48 on lunch for two, plus tip, but it was worth every cent. Hours later I’m still thinking how good my meal was … Love love love!

Brandon was absolutely fantastic! We had a great meal at JW Patio, and his service made the whole experience even better. He was attentive without hovering, friendly, quick, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Brandon really knows how to take care of his tables -- the kind of server every restaurant wishes they had. Highly recommend asking for him if you go!

JW's Patio never misses! I recently went to lunch with a friend at JW's Patio, and as always -- it was fire! My friend ordered the Patio Nachos, which are enormous and could easily feed three people (I told her! ). It's a massive platter of crispy nachos smothered in queso, pico de gallo, house-made guacamole, and she chose pulled pork for her protein -- and let me tell you, they were very generous with it! For my entrée, I ordered the Shrimp & Crab Ceviche Tostadas -- beautifully plated and bursting with fresh flavor. Two crispy tostadas topped with shrimp, crab, cucumber, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, guacamole, house Napa slaw, and finished with bright pickled onions. A simple dish packed with layers of freshness -- lovely to look at and even better to eat! There's always so much to choose from at JW's Patio, sometimes it's hard to decide, but this dish is scrumptious and never disappoints -- a prime entrée for sure. Great food, great service. Every item on the menu checks the box. Favorite dish- Meatball Gigante. Side note- the butternut squash soup is a must every visit

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but I was very impressed. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with a screened in patio. The staff was incredible nice and the service was incredibly fast and accurate. Our server was so good. The menu has so many options and man was it hard to choose from. We decided to split two different entrees which the restaurant had no problem accommodating. The wagyu burger was full of flavor and that bacon jalapeño jam was to die for! The stuffed salmon was full of flavor and I loved the mixed vegetable it was served with and the cheddar cheese risotto. I would highly recommend the stuffed salmon because it was that good! We started with the whipped feta and that was to die for a great choice as an appetizer. I was really impressed with this place and will definitely be back next time I am Beaumont.

Our First time at Jw's and our second were both EXCEPTIONAL. Great service, Great food, GREAT atmosphere. This is a hidden gem in Beaumont. As a foodie I really have nothing bad to say about this place. Great lunch spot, a fun place to grab drinks, family friendly.

Same owner as JWilson's. Liked the quiet, covered outdoor patio. Bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with beef birria, nachos, three tacos, and dessert. My colleagues voted this the best dinner that we had in Beaumont! I thought that each dish was great but I did not see anything unique. Most dishes except for the jalapeños could have been found in any US restaurant

really yummy food here, jt was 18$ it is really savory Server was really nice, we also got a group chips and wueso it was alright.

I've been here several times over the past 3 years and every time I'm here, the service is spot on. I typically sit at the bar and the bartenders are always so friendly and always make you feel at home and comfortable. As a female, who sits alone at the bar, it's comforting that a male bartender makes you feel at home. The food never disappoints. I highly recommend coming here rather it be a date night, solo night, or a girls night out. *chefs kiss* each and every time I visit here.

Went here for brunch during a visit to the Golden Triangle for a baseball tournament. Was looking for a spot to relax and chow between games. Had a quick brunch in and out in 30 minutes. Michelada was awesome and I don't usually even like them. Had a fried chicken Benedict and my son had french toast. Both were great and the hash browns had a little bite on them. Cool ambiance with a nice outdoor seating area.

Food was amazing I had the lemon pasta with jerk chicken great spot for lunch parking is a little tight but wasn't that much of a problem.

I absolutely LOVE the Buddha bowl. Service was a tad slow, but they were busy, so understandable. And the inside was a bit loud (it was hard for my 75 yr old father to have a conversation while sitting next to me in a booth) but it's well lit and clean and ambiance is upbeat.

Best Brunch I ever had! The spicy Bloody Mary was spot on Food was excellent I had the flat iron steak with fried eggs and hash brown casserole the picodegio was a nice addition too this meal! Also the server did a really nice job! Sorry I can't remember her name! I will definitely be back!

Brunch is amazing here! If you not tried brunch then make sure you put this on your schedule asap

The service was good. The waiter wasn't very familiar with some of the food questions I had for him...but no biggie, I googled it. I had the bowl. It was okay. I thinking there needed to be more quinoa and avocado spread. The steak and eggs where great and all cooked as asked. The Paloma I didn't like but my spouse did. I think it was the alcohol brand that was used. I would recommend this place!

I have eaten here 4 times this week since I'm in town with family. Food- for Beaumont, it's excellent. Good variety. Soup and grilled goat cheese was excellent. Buddha bowl was excellent. Baked stuff shrimp was so-so. The stuffing part tasted good but the shrimp was over cooked. Chicken taco salad was good but not great. Moscow mule was excellent. Service was consistently very good. Ambiance - I love the patio open although it's often a tough sell in Beaumont. The concrete floors make the interior a little noisy for my taste, but it was fine. Clean.

This was my first visit and I was looking forward to a nice lunch. I was seated at a very wet table. Not one person stopped by to greet me or take my order. As I left the restaurant, the hostess that seated me didn't bother to rectify the situation.

My family really enjoys this spot. I love the warm salad/bowls . (Buddha Bowl/King Tut Bowl). They are packed with veggies. My kids get spaghetti and meatballs. We really like the steak loaded fries and/or the seafood salsa for appetizers. My husband recently ordered the crab stuffed salmon. Service is fairly quick, even when it's busy.

I have been to JW's patio many times. It's a great place to catch up with friends and it's family friendly. I'd recommend to come for lunch or dinner. Each time I've come there has been no one to greet us at the door to get us seated. We've had to wait at least 5 minutes each time. My go to meal is one of their Bowls. My favorite is their Buckshot Bowl. It's a healthy warm couscous bowl. They also have good sandwiches. I've been here for brunch (pictures attached) and was unimpressed. The Benedict came cold, even the egg wasn't warm. The breakfast loaded fries was okay. Pilsner order again. Their shrimp and grits are good. The best part of our brunch were the mimosas.

Everything every time is amazing here! I recommend everything on the menu. Place does get crowded so weekend reservations I would suggest!

Wow!! What an amazing brunch!! Coffee was perfect? The shrimp and grits were phenomenal!! Great sauce!! Big, juicy shrimp that were cooked to perfection on top of a polenta cake (grits)! OMgosh!! Husband enjoyed his spinach omelet and hash brown casserole! 10/10 we will try again!!

Wow, great spot in Beaumont serving high end dishes at great prices. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Wide variety of options for any everyone's taste buds. Nice beer & wine selection. Calamari was prepared perfectly, with some flavorful dip that I can't even describe. Our waitress recommended the shrimp pesto penne pasta - she did not steer me wrong!!! My boss had the manicotti, and he loved it. Awesome patio seating, obviously, it's in the name.

Let ok'ing for a place on the road and read the reviews, and they were spot on. Great selection of tasty dishes. My wife had egg plant dish and a feta cheese dip that were unusual but good. I had the po'boy burger. It was real juicy, fries were fresh cut. Was definitely an excellent choic

I ordered pork tacos. The refried beans were disgusting. No flavor and looked gross. It came with some kind of salsa but tasted more like spaghetti sauce. Received my food but there was no salt and pepper on the table. I asked for pico de gallo. You could tell it was old and with no flavor. My daughter order lemon pasta. It didn't come with any garlic bread or a side salad. It didn't look fresh. She wasn't offered any parmesan cheese to go with it. Food was horrible. I was extremely disappointed after reading all the 4 star reviews.

I found this place on Yelp, while visiting Beaumont. I arrive exactly 30 minutes before they closed and 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. I was able to my meal and drink ordered in time, and eat it without feeling rushed. I ordered the shrimp burger and fries with an old fashion drink. Both were really good. I also ordered crispy artichoke and eggplant to go. This was just okay. I prefer more seasoning, crispness, and smaller cut portion. In all cases, I would return. In fact, if I do, I will definitely return as this is my type of vibe.

We stopped by this place on our roadtrip and needed a place with to outdoor patio for our child to move a bit. They were so friendly and brought the kids food out fast which made the stop easier! We were also surprised how good and fresh the food was! We got the tacos, soup and salads they were all amazing! Also they were kind enough to allow our pups outside in the patio and brought them water! It was such a saver after driving for several hours. Highly recommend stopping here to eat!

We stopped here for brunch last Saturday with other members of our family. It was the first visit for most of us. We had excellent service and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely stop again on our next visit to Beaumont.

Nice atmosphere with great tasting food, good prices and a very friendly wait staff. We had the Ruben sandwich which was delicious and had a nice amount of meat and the birria tacos with rice and refried black beans. The birria tacos were fantastic!

The energy was very inviting. The bar menu is excellent. The food menu is also excellent. The wait staff was well-prepared and knowledgeable about specific items on the menu.

Matt was an awesome server, the good was plentiful and delicious, great atmosphere too!

Went to JW Patio for father's day brunch. We had a reservation for 10:30 and the restaurant was not yet busy. First strike was we were given the table right inside the door and next to the hostess station. This meant that everyone entering the restaurant bumped into our Chair or table. Strike 2 was the food. I ordered the fried chicken Benedict. As the picture shows it was overcooked chicken, and the poached eggs were basically hard boiled. The hash brown casserole needed salt, but there is none on the table because covid happened a year or so ago. Strike 3 was the service. Never received refills or even a visit after dropping off the horrible food. Again, it wasn't yet busy when we were here. Britt was not a good server... We won't be back. With the Toasted Yolk across the street there is no need for poor food and service here! My recommendation? Don't bother... Yuck!

Went with party of 5, ordered 2 appetizers- hummus and eggplant/artichokes with tzatziki. Both were absolutely delicious. Split the shrimp and grits and stuffed shrimp with bestfriend- both excellent. Best meal we have had in Beaumont so far!!

Came in for a weekend patio lunch. Called ahead and was sat upon arrival. Solid beer and cocktail selection. Had a couple different local draughts and both were good. Started with carnitas nachos, we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Chips were crispy and the queso was plentiful. We pretty much shared everything and it was all delicious. The fav was the fried chicken Benedict for sure. Loved that there were fresh options available though. Service was fantastic, will be back.

Everything was FANTASTIC! Incredible ambiance and amazing service from our server Arielle. The roasted butternut squash soup was to die for and the patio breakfast platter you get sooo much food. The risotto that came with the stuffed baked shrimp was so flavorful. Delicious!

What really surprised me is that I was told J Wilson's restaurant is same owner? I arrived around 230pm on a Monday which at that time it was basically empty. I was really hungry so when they sat me by the bar I didn't change seating. Matt the server came over and asked what I was drinking. No hello, no welcome to JW Patio, no have you dined here before...no introduction...just what are you drinking. I wish I had a photo of the look on his face when I said "water" it was a look of disappointment which spoke volumes. Although I had time to look at the menu and was ready to order he quickly spun around and began to walk away. I called him back and ordered a roasted butternut squash soup...he was gone again. The squash soup came out warm, not hot! Hungry and not wanting to complain I ate it quickly. He never came back to ask how was the soup. I summoned him again and ordered a blackened Chicken pasta dish. About 40 minutes passed, I was not updated on my meal so I called Matt H. again. His claim was that the restaurant received a huge togo order and my meal would come out shortly! If that were true then my chicken pasta should come out piping hot! Guess what? No it was not hot, just warm and some parts actually room temperature. I took two bites which confirmed the plate sat for a while. Rather than wait for it to be reheated I asked for a to go box and a check! I told Matt the food was not served hot and he began to say differently! He got my pasta comped and no sorry or apology. Salmon Naan was great. Veggies a bit lemony (citrusy) but great flavors A MUST HAVE. LOVE THIS PLACE ..

Went for dinner evening of 4/19/23. Menu has been trimmed since my last visit of 3/8/23. Unfortunately, my favorite item, and arguably the best pasta item - the lasagna - did not survive and has been taken off the menu. Major disappointment. Suggest ownership reconsider this decision...

Jane "found" this place while looking for a lunch place with her friend. And did she find a good one! I latched on to the spinach omelet, the shrimp and grits were perfect, patio steak just the right amount of meat. Lively atmosphere and even some live music. Ambrosia!

Always great and attentive service even when they are busy which is often. My new favorite is the patio steak cooked medium rare. A flank steak but very tender and served with vegetables and half a baked sweet potato. Another fav is the scallops served with risotto. Delicious. Great cocktails too. It's a lively place and a lot of fun.

Grilled chicken plate was delicious! Juicy chicken with grilled veggies. Comes with sweet potato also, however, I asked for the Yukon gold potatoes instead. Everything was grilled & seasoned perfectly!

The Alfredo my wife for was pure freezer food. The food is definitely not worth the asking price.

Best Shrimp & Grits in SETX! Steak fries are also a 5* hit! The casual atmosphere...well, the name DOES say patio. Get it? It's casually cool.

My second visit. Had the crab topped salmon. It was yummy. Started out with the spicy bacon wrapped jalapeños and stuffed mushrooms. Delicious. Appreciate the consistent good service and attention to detail

Busy spot even on a weeknight so be prepared for a wait to sit inside. Food is great and there are a lot of healthier options!
