Nice place to visit! Came here on a date with my wife. We had an 8 o’clock reservation and showed up a little late (around 8:27), but the hostess still seated us right away. Our waitress was great friendly, quick, and had good suggestions. Drinks, appetizer, and entrées all came out perfectly timed. Great service and food! We’ll definitely be back.

We had the best time at JZ Steakhouse! The food was great, but our waiter Sophia was the real star. So sweet, so attentive, and just made the whole night better with her fabulous personality! Highly recommend and definitely ask for Sophia!

Absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was a perfect 10/10 — the door was opened for us right away, and every server we interacted with had such a positive, welcoming attitude. The food came out incredibly fast with barely any wait, and every single dish was out of this world. This was truly one of the best steakhouses I’ve ever been to. We ordered the chummus flight (which came with laffas), the meat pizza, and everything was beyond delicious. Even the coffee and the piña colada were exceptional — not a single miss on the menu. We left feeling full, happy, and completely satisfied, and the fact that we spent under $100 made the experience even better. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.

Absolutely delicious food! The steak was perfect and full of flavor. The vibes were great, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. Our waiter, Iris, was extremely detailed, attentive, and very helpful. Amazing service all around. I will definitely be coming again!

My husband and I were recommended JZ Steakhouse by a family friend and it didn’t disappoint. The food was incredible! We ordered the hummus mix that came with 3 laffas, which was very filling in itself. Then we got the 16oz rib eye steak and it was cooked perfectly, just the way we like it. After the food, we ordered the halva tower for dessert and it was so good. Definitely too big for two people to finish after a full meal but worth it to take home and finish later. The service was excellent as well, our server Rodrigo was very nice and helpful for us. 100% recommend for anyone looking for a good steak house.

The food and atmosphere was definitely a 10/10. Let me not forgot about the cocktail Passionfruit Beach was definitely a nice and strong. Sebastian and Pedro were our servers and they were AMAZIN ❤️. Definitely will be back

Booked for new years eve. Didn't realize it was a Jewish, Israeli steakhouse. Didn't matter, the service was top notch and food was incredible. Get the house salad, it has like 10 different salad tastings and varieties to be shared, we ate the whole thing. Then got the ribeye skewer.. had 5 large pcs of the most tender and tastiest ribeye I have ever had. We were dressed for new years eve and maybe a little out of place, bug it was super friendly and delicious, and incredible music playing the entire time. Super lively place, really great!

The food is amazing. The appetizer of salads and hot laffa is delicious And the steak was cooked exactly the way we asked for it, which is very hard to get anywhere. Our server AJ was so nice, friendly, helpful, and professional and really made the evening even better. We will definitely come here again and recommend it!!

Amazing meal at JZ Steakhouse.. Had the shishito peppers, egg plant tahini, ribeye 16oz on the bone, and chocolate brownie cake! Ribeye was really well cooked (medium = pink center) closer to medium-rare elsewhere. Will be back.

A definite hidden gem. I was not sure what to expect from a Kosher restaurant. JZ delivers great some of the times. If in the area or simply you want to venture out, come this way and give it a try. I've been here a handful of times and not all times has the service been consistently good. I find the drinks to be a bit pricey. Meats and veggies all have great flavor.

$36 for chicken nuggets and political views that you're forced to see before reading the menu. The service is great, everyone is friendly and kind. Small space but very loud, narrow walkways, only room for 1 person to walk thru at a time. Birthday desserts are not free. I am Jewish but I lost my appetite before seeing the menu, so I couldn't tell you how the food is.

I visited JZ on a weekday while in town for a conference. I no longer keep kosher but was planning to dine with a colleague who does- there's very limited kosher dining in our hometown so I was really hoping this meal would be a treat for him. The space was lovely- very modern and small but not cramped. They use a lot of technology including tablet style menus, which I appreciated but might not be for everyone. Our server was very kind and attentive, and helped us navigate the large menu. I started with a glass of very good Pinot noir, and we decided on the hanging pastrami for a shared appetizer. It didn't disappoint- it was a real showpiece and other diners even came to ask about it. It was incredibly delicious- there was a maple glaze and the meat was very tender. Just be warned- it was plenty of food to be a starter for four people, we barely made a dent (and we were starving). I don't eat bread, but my dining companion said the puffed bread was light and tasty. I had the lamb skewer for my entree. The server suggested and brought a chimichuri type sauce that complemented the meat nicely. It was a large portion of tender and flavorful lamb. My dining companion had the lamb burger and raved about it. All in all, it was a great experience. If I was local I could see eating there regularly.

This place is high class and therefore don't expect low prices. The food is super delicious and Kosher (meat). For me, the music was a bit loud. the service is ok for the type of restaurant it is they should be more attentive, The restaurant has very nice decor white tablecloths, and a candlelight ambiance so to speak. Lovely for a romantic dinner... In all Kosher steak lovers delight.

Had fantastic service at JZ Steakhouse tonight. The food was flavorful, came out well timed and was presented beautifully. Would highly recommend to anyone! We came down from Boca to enjoy my husbands Birthday dinner!

Such a good time. Sitting at the bar we were welcomed by the staff and the owner. We had amazing drinks and food! We stopped by because they were open late & we wanted to spend sometime outside of the house. I definitely recommend it here.

Came late on a Tuesday night, but grateful we had a reservation because it was busy. We had a party of six and ordered hummus and shishito peppers as apps. Steaks, burgers, and Jerusalem mix for entres. Service was amazing, Martha was attentive and very detailed. All food was prepared to perfection and arrived promptly. Don't skip dessert! The halva tower was one of a kind and big enough to share. Thank you for a great experience, will definitely recommend to others.

Our dining experience was deeply disappointing. First, our plates were served separately, arriving at different times, which made it impossible to enjoy the meal together. Some of us had to eat cold food while waiting for others to be served. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened. My husband's skewer arrived raw, and the meat was filled with nerves, making it inedible. He asked for a replacement, and while the waitress took the skewer back, she left the side dish (mashed potatoes) on the table. About ten minutes later, she returned with the same pieces of meat, now hard and rubbery, as they had simply been thrown back on the grill instead of being replaced with a fresh skewer. This is not only unhygienic--considering my husband had already taken a bite--but also completely unacceptable. We explained the issue to the waitress, emphasizing that the meat was full of nerves and could not be eaten. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the manager came to our table and began arguing loudly, accusing my husband of eating the meat and implying he had no right to complain. This was incredibly rude and unprofessional, especially since most of the plate remained untouched because the meat was simply inedible. While the manager eventually offered to replace or remove the dish, his condescending tone had already ruined an evening that had been marred by cold food and poor service. We spent over $300, with an 18% mandatory tip, and left feeling disrespected and dissatisfied. I will never set foot in that restaurant again. It seems success has gone to their heads, but fortunately, there are plenty of excellent kosher dining options in Miami where customers are treated with respect and served quality food.

I like this place a lot, but they really pile up everybody on top of each other in seating. Food excellent, steak our favorite and the 12 salads and Lafa bread is a must for us. If you are looking for a quiet candlelight meal this is not the place, more like your high school cafeteria!

2/9/23 Had a great meal here with my family. It was extremely busy that night but we had a reservation and only had a short wait. We shared some apps: hummus and laffa (so fresh & delicious) the laffa was steaming hot as if it had just come out of the oven. We also tried the brisket fries (decadent), pastrami (hanging over fresh cornbread) that was tasty too but even more interesting to look at. I tasted the eggplant entree. It was was garlicky & tasty For my entree I chose the short ribs over mashed potatoes. The portion was huge and the ribs were falling off the bone. The mashed potatoes were great too. I would come back but only with a smaller group. This is because I really wanted to try the salads but if one person in the party orders it, they charge each person at the table. I didn't think that was fair so I had to forgo the item I wanted most.

My best restaurant experience ever! From the atmosphere (fun, family oriented) to the vibe, (joyful, happy people enjoying delicious food) to the way they have the food in front of you minutes after you order.. This place is a must for any culinary afficionado. The Mediterranean flavors, the on-point flavors, unlimited salads and laffas, the best hummus on the planet and perfection on their meats. A special shout out to the desserts, specifically their beignets, Ferrero Roche dessert, wow! We will definitely be returning! Every member of the wait staff was courteous and kind, and they were great with recommendations! Everything we tried, from the pastrami, the beef, short ribs, you name it, we finished it! I have never had such an amazing dining experience! Thank you, Jz's! Keep it up!

Traditional kosher steakhouse, but lacks quality. Everything tasted fresh except the Israeli salad and the quality of meat wasn't outstanding. If you go I do recommend the carpaccio, brownie, sausage and short ribs. I didn't think the rest was that great. The service was good but the pricing is outrageous, i get that it's kosher but not for what you get.

Having just left this place for our first time. .....Hawaiian steak and meat platter were very good. The ribeye 12oz was over cooked and fatty. Dessert was delish!!! The vibe is fun and cool. Great for family or special event . Service stunk !!!!! No introductions no up sales no explanations no welcoming . Finished plates sat on the table too long . Automatic 18% gratuity added - automatic.... This would not have been the % to reflect the poor service . Bathrooms unkept and dirty and for ADA the handicap toilet should be taller. And no hot water at sink . I would return and likely sit at the bar. The choices on menu are nice. For 3 - Glass of wine one mixed drink sodas bottle water and coffee and tea . (Mint tea was refreshing and fresh !! ) Total with the automatic gratuity was $345 Beignets mmCigars

Kosher-steak-lovers rejoice!. This place knows how to make you go "Amen" with delight! . The food was so tender and abundant I thought I was eating steak-flavored cotton candy!. And the service? They were like speedy waiters on a mission to deliver joy on a plate!. They were proactive and knowledgeable about the menu (a rarity these days in South Florida restaurants). Pricey as expected from these type of restaurants but definitely worth it. Will definitely be back !!

Wow! I don't even know where to start!! The food was amazing everything we ordered was to die for!! My favorite was the schnitzel with the side Caesar!! The best kosher salad I've ever had! I definitely will come back here, if you are looking for a good place with good vibe come here ask for Tohar!! The service was amazing from the second we walked in to the time we walked out!! The dessert is phenomenal

This is a kosher steakhouse. Not sure if thats why the prices are so high, but it was incredibly expensive. They do give you big portions though. I had the ceasar salad which was huge but not that good. Also had the grilled chicken and green beans which were excellent. They add 18% gratuity to all bills, which they shorted themself cause i was going to leave 20%. I didnt get dessert cause i was full, but took a pic of their prices

1st time here ordered too much , Steak was very good , bread HOT and good.beignets we're incredible! House salad not recommended , especially when they charge everyone at the table ,weather they ate or not ! oH , zero warning didn't say at all ,closes late midnight ,quiet, was packed on a Wednesday night! Overall was ok some items stood out, On the fence can't say I'd recommend them , but food was ok .didn't like the auto tipping . Our server was good , But what if urs SUCKS???

The food at the restaurant I enjoyed. My husband didn't love his steak. His wasn't too exciting and my daughter said her chicken nuggets were a bit burnt.. the desserts were delicious! They give gigantic portions! It took us days to finish the dessert but it was really fun! The pina coladas are delicious as well. The service was decent and the ambiance was fun. We did have a nice time

Have been here many times and eaten many different entrees and appetizers. The food is always fresh and very good. My favorite thing about JZ is that they are able to prepare a well-done steak without burning it or drying it out. The service is always good, and the restaurant is attractive and clean. The only negative, IMO, is that the restaurant is too noisy; it could be less noisy if they turned down the volume of the piped-in music so everyone didn't have to talk over it as well as over everyone else.

JZ has excellent service, delicious food, and enjoyable atmosphere. You get your food quickly (if you wish), or you can take your sweet time to enjoy the evening as slowly as you wish. Plus they have a full bar. They are one of the nicest kosher meat restaurants within a 30 minute drive of Hollywood, Florida. Definitely bring your wife or girlfriend for a special date night!

We had the Caesar salad, the brisket tacos, and the short ribs, and they were all phenomenal. The service is great. Let's just focus on how amazing the Caesar salad is. The dressing doesn't take over the salad, and the lettuce stays crunchy even later during the meal when we dug in a second time. The croutons are my personal favorite. They melt in your mouth, perfectly mixing with the salad. The meat was excellent. Both the brisket and the ribs were perfectly seasoned and had great sauces. Both meats were cooked beautifully, tender and juicy, and were delicious. This is by far, the best meat dinner I've had in a while.

My family and I went to JZ Steakhouse to celebrate a birthday. As usual the food and the service was absolutely phenomenal. The owner "Juke" and the waitress "Julie" were extremely accommodating with there services. The ambiance was also very nice. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. This restaurant will not disappointed you. Enjoy your experience

JZ steakhouse Good Ambience, great food including -starter dips with fresh hot Lafa . The red beans soup tasted heavenly, We ordered bone in steaks - soft like butter , I never had such a great steaks when the owner came to greet us at the table, I asked him about those delicious steaks, and his response was it's " Black angus ALLE " also Mexican chorizo is a must . Kind and polite Staff, I found the prices to be very reasonable for the quantities of food we got. this is my new go to place!

If you want good food, and great service JZ Steakhouse is the place! The food was fresh, full of flavor and nice portion sizes. We had pastrami egg rolls that were amazing, the Brisket Flatbreads "the best I have had". The Steaks were cooked to perfection. The waiter was amazing- We let her know when we were ready for the main this way Our steaks were sizzling off the grill. We definitely will be back to try the other items on the menu. 5 STARS C.G.

While food is quite tasty and ambiance is very nice you are going to pay a hefty price for eating at a kosher restaurant. Everything is quite expensive, so if you are on a budget this may not be for you. Anyone who is not kosher can easily eat at just as nice and tasty a restaurant for a fraction of the price, but that is not the point here. This is a religious choice and should be respected as long as the patrons are willing to pay the price, which on the evening I was there, they were. I, on the other hand, am not kosher, but my friends were and this was the most logical choice. On the other hand, what I found most annoying and disrespectful were the patrons who casually smoked throughout the restaurant as if nobody else existed and the fact that nobody, not patrons or employees, wore a mask. I found myself at risk, but took the chance. If not for my guests I probably would not have even gone in. This is what lowered my score significantly. So, in summation, if you are okay with ridiculously high prices, no masks and smoke everywhere then this may be for you because the food really is quite good and authentic. If, however, you are not okay with any of this then you know what to do.

Overcrowded, rude, and mismanaged. Didn't even get to have the food we wanted because they wouldn't honor our reservation when we were on time! 0/10 don't recommend.

We've eaten here several times, and were quite pleased with the menu, service and pricing. A bit crowded at times- ask for the back room which is a bit less hectic & less noisy. Helps to reserve in advance. Outdoor seating is available, too.

the food was absolutely delicious and the owner is extremely nice and hospitable. the food came quickly and I highly recommend to anyone and everyone in the area. fantastic food
