K-BOX Karaoke

Threw my friends a Bon Voyage party last night at K-Box and our experience was 10/10. We came for the music but stayed for the chicken tenders and pitchers of Modelo on tap. Our friend Zach left no crumbs after his performance of “No Scrubs” and Barrett blessed us all with his own rendition of Afroman’s critically acclaimed, hit single “Because I Got High.” The staff, service, and incredible ambiance of K-Box Karaoke certainly sent our two friends off on vacation with memories that will last a lifetime. We’ll be back!!!

I took my 94 year old grandmother to karaoke for the first time in her life and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The drinks were delicious. The karaoke system took a little bit of getting used to, we didn't find all the songs we wanted to sing, and the room was a bit cold but we had a great time. The staff were so helpful and lovely! They let us out the back way into the parking garage so that my grandmother didn't have to make the long trek back though the mall and construction zone.

This is a great place to have fun with your friends! Wide variety of songs and crazy volume. Make sure to book a room before coming. I would recommend 2 hours because time goes very fast. The place is very clean, has a great ambiance and service is good. They also have little sweet boba in the place so you can order from they directly from your room. My only complaint is the microphone in the middle of the room, is right in front of the tv and it blocks everyone if someone uses it. Overall great place!

Gustavo is a very bad employee. Doesn’t know how to treat customers. Attitude very bad. Treats grown adults like kids. Shortened my time from 3 hours to 1 hour killed my entire mood.

This place is awful. They did not have many common songs in their library and the ones they did have, didn’t work. Their system played the wrong songs constantly and we had to call the front multiple times to fix it and they couldn’t. They charged us $60 for an hour even though we told them nothing was working correctly in the room. We spent almost an entire hour fiddling with the faulty software. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go to another karaoke bar.

Last night I visited k box karaoke and mela I had a great time a guy was very kind in getting me a room since I didn't have a reservation I had a great time 😊 and the staff was very friendly

Very wide selection of English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean songs! They also run a boba shop at this spot and make it easy to order right to your room. No complaints on service, we had a great time here! It gets busy here though, so call ahead to reserve a room. Pro tip: If you have WeChat, don't forget to scan the QR code on the TV screen to have the karaoke controls right on your phone.

Great time! Rooms were nice, clean, and well air conditioned. Had some issues with some of the songs not having lyrics / skipping, but over all a good time

So, our group made a reservation for 2pm and payed online. However once we arrived, they apparently opened up at 3pm and won't answer their door or the phone. We had an hour to kill which wasn't too bad, however we also never got a refund for our original reservation and had to pay 40 additional dollars on top of the 52 dollars we had already spent. However, we came back at 3pm and were met with aggression from another customer. He was wearing a red tracksuit and saying to our group things like, "I will break your jaws and punch your face." This was not okay and he was even harassing another group of kids. Even after telling the man working the front counter that the man in the red tracksuit was harassing them and threatening them, he was not kicked out and the front counter worker said that he was a paying customer and he can not kick him out. This ended up causing the other group to leave. This is not okay. Our group ended up staying, but still this is not okay. Would not recommend this place. Definitely better places to do Karaoke in the city.

Rating a 3/5 because: - EXTREMELY limited song selection - limited drink choice (only soju, wine, and beer) - the large room is not very large in my opinion The way the room is set up has the words at the front, so when performing the singers face away from the rest of the group. This personally doesn't make sense for the type of karaoke that I like to do (more of a performance). I had a good time for my birthday but I don't think I'll return. The biggest disappointment was the song selection. In Dec 2024 they were missing these iconic songs: - pink pony club by chappel roan - Juno by Sabrina carpenter - I can do it with a broken heart by Taylor Swift

i came here for the first time with a small group yesterday. k-box is one of the only karaoke spots in the city that's open earlier in the day so this was our pick! there's a garage conveniently located right before k-box on geary but once we exited the garage on foot we had to walk around the block to get to the entrance. not sure if there was a better exit or route but that was our experience! since we went earlier, the rate was $10 off per hour so 2 hours including tax was about $86 for a small room (5 people max). you pay a deposit when you book online then pay the remainder upon exiting. and fyi, they will hold your card and id at the front until you check out. the song selection was decent and easy to navigate on the screen. try searching both by title and artist if it doesn't show up one way. everyone in my group enjoyed their boba and snacks and they were brought to the room pretty quickly! i recommend the mango sago if you're a mango fan! the room was clean and spacious and there were mic covers on both mics for hygiene. overall we had a great and smooth experience and i would definitely come back!

So much fun! Took our kids there to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday and it was a hit! These teens actually enjoyed! The place is nice and clean. They had great food (boba) that you can order and the service was really nice. Not bad for a karaoke please, the price is good! $50 for an hour for a small room size perfect for our group of 5. This place is open till 4am. They have different size rooms for all your group needs. You have room Service and they serve some alcohol. Boba place connected to the Karaoke place is called Little Sweet.

Went here to celebrate a good friend's birthday. Our private booth was clean and comfortable. We had so much fun! There were plenty of songs to pick from and the boba we ordered was very good with quick service. We would happily go back.

My friends and I had a good time singing karaoke here. I reserved earlier in the week for 2 hours on Sunday at 3 pm. It's very easy to do so via their website, and you have to pay a deposit to secure the booking. I'm not sure of the exact hours, but they offer 20% off during off peak hours, so the small room was $40/hour instead of the usual $50. The day before, some more friends decided to come, so I called them to upgrade to a medium room. Normally it's $65/hour, but with the 20% off it's $52/hour which isn't bad at all once you split it between the group. On the day of, we parked in the Japantown garage, which was very convenient to K-Box. We had a bit of a hard time finding the place since we originally thought it was inside, but the entrance is on right on Geary next to the entrance/exit to the garage. Look for the Little Sweet sign. Our medium room was pretty good. There's a disco ball so you can turn that on for festive vibes. They use a Chinese system for song selection, and most of the English songs I looked for was available. Ordering is done via the screen in the corner, otherwise you can scan the barcode via the WeChat and search for songs that way as well. I used WeChat since it wasn't convenient for me to get up, and even though it didn't show the full queue of songs (almost half the songs were missing for some reason), it worked fine for inputting songs. We didn't take advantage of this since we were all stuffed from lunch, but you can scan the QR code and order boba and snacks from Little Sweet which is right next door.

K box Karaoke, the best karaoke in town, the service, rooms, ambiance and food / drinks are so good. Shout out to Jonathan, you deserve a raise, such an amazing staff and excellent service. I could thank you enough for accommodating us whether large or small group. I would highly recommend to check out K box, very modern clean and top notch service. Milk tea is also available, no need to order boozy drinks at other places, the ac and rooms are well equipped, music and mic are good quality. Please come here, will come back

This is my favorite karaoke place in San Francisco. I always stop by here whenever I'm in town. I like how they have Little Sweet right inside so I can get boba while singing my heart out. You can park in the nearby parking garage or on the street. The service was quick to answer, and the karaoke machine was easy to use. They also have tambourines and disco lights to set the mood. I've only been in the small and large rooms. There's plenty of space to spread out. Making reservations is easy through a phone booking.

Pretty good overall but the machine is not that great... We had issues with the lyric synching.. Soju's are great! Decently priced overall, easy reservations online.

My friend booked a room for a Sunday afternoon hangout. She managed to switch the room size to medium+ pretty easily after more folks decided to join. When we arrived, it was a bit crowded near the entrance, maybe due to people waiting for boba or avoiding the rain. We had to wait 5-10 minutes after we got to get help. I had to hand over my ID and credit card for them to hold onto before we could go in our room, though payment happens after you're done. Honestly, the room felt a tad small; it would've been a tight fit with 10 people. But it did look clean. The song selection was alright, with a mix of English, Chinese, and Japanese tunes, including some newer ones, although it didn't have everything we were hoping for. The touchscreen wasn't placed optimally, or maybe the room was just too small; the TV got blocked when someone was picking a song. The user interface wasn't super intuitive either. They had a QR code for ordering from Little Sweet to get delivered to your room, but it wasn't clear how to order alcohol, if at all. They took a while to get our first batch of orders, but the others came pretty quickly. Be wary that you will need to bring a water bottle, or you will have to order something since I don't think they have any free water. For a 3-hour session, it came out to around $25 per person, which wasn't too bad. Overall, it's a decent spot, though not the best karaoke experience I've had.

My friends and I went here for the first time recently. The staff was very kind and attentive, the rooms were clean and there is a boba shop inside that is open very late which is really convenient (you can order from inside the rooms usuing a QR code). The only thing that disappointed me a bit was ordering soju. We ordered two bottles of soju (assuming they would be the green bottles we usually see them in) but instead they brought us 2 bottles of soju mixed with juice. They were $22 a bottle, so not getting pure soju was disappointing. Otherwise everything was really great, and service was fast.

Rating: 3.5 stars We came by at midnight "Sunday morning" with a group of four. We were able to make a reservation online around 1 hour before our reservation time. In order to make the reservation online they take a $35 deposit (which they take off from your final check). When we arrived, the establishment was pretty chaotic. They only had one person at the front desk taking care of everyone so he was running around all night and unfortunately that meant the check in process was quite disorganized and also quite slow. However, the guy at the front was still very friendly and kept a smile on his face which was very admirable. We were told our room number a few minutes after our booked time and walked there ourselves. This was not too difficult since the store was quite small and was easily numbered. The same guy who was checking us in told us he would be by to teach us how to use the system. He did not come until around 20 min afterwards since he was so busy, by that time we had figured everything ourselves and did not need any explanations. Our system broke down after around 20 min of usage. The selection computer just stopped working and then the tv also stopped and the sound system started blasting random music. Since they were so busy it took them a while to get to us to help restart the system. Thankfully though, they took off 20 minutes from our final time cost. All in all, the system can be quite glitchy and the store itself seems pretty disorganized. However, private room karaoke is always a fun time with friends!

Good service, overpriced drinks, but overall gets the job done for a small group looking for karaoke. The food is alright, limited options but good if you're hungry and want to snack on Asian food during Karaoke.

Not sure why it took me this long to review this place, but I've been here on average twice per month just in 2023. I love sober private Karaoke, and this is definitely the best place I know in SF for it. Pros: Great Asian song selection, and even includes romaji for some popular Japanese songs if you can't read Japanese. (I've even seen pinying for Mandarin songs lol) WeChat users have access to an easy to use song search system Great vibe despite the smaller rooms You can order little sweet straight from the room AIR CONDITIONING Friendly staff!! Cons: Touch pad song selection is wonky and not intuitive Hard to know when new songs are added (I wish I could request adds :( ) Maximum 2 mics except for the standing mic, which is hard to use Some songs are Cloud only and you have to wait a bit for a download Too far away from my house

I've been here twice in the last year. First, love that they have Little Sweet Boba shop outside of the karaoke and can directly serve in the room, it's a great perk for boba lovers. However, it does make the place harder to find because I have multiple friends getting lost looking for this karaoke on the street because the store front look like a boba shop. Compared to Fillmore karaoke, which is another one of my favorite spots, this place is a bit more pricey, nevertheless I think it is worth it. This place has better device and sound quality, space is cleaner and more decorated, too. For me, K Box is perfect for parties, celebrations,, esp. with lots of people, whereas Fillmore Karaoke is more for a casual small get together or if you just wanna go practice singing, it is more affordable. One thing to notice is they both have happy hours before 9pm daily and price is much better with more rooms available if you go before 9pm. As far as song library goes, they have a very large and updated library, for both English, and Chinese karaoke songs. Spanish library is not bad. It's not as great but still has more updated songs sometimes. The system is very easy to work with. And you can adjust keys for each song which is a very important perk for me. The only thing is you cannot adjust the volume of your microphone too much so for very quiet singers it could be a problem. Overall I would give this place a solid 8.5/10 compared to what's available in the general San Francisco/East Bay Area!

Love this place! I went here for a friend's birthday and it was so much fun! We reserved a room in advance for 2 hours since we had about 10 people, and it was a blast! The screen to control everything is easy enough to get the hang of, and they have a large and diverse catalog of songs to choose from. You can also control the music through WeChat if you have that. With the lights you can toggle on or off, the cushioned seats all along the wall, and the decent soundproofing of the doors, it's easy to have a good time with friends. Careful of time though, as they're pretty strict about when your slot ends and will pop in to tell you when your last song is. You can also order boba tea from Little Sweet which is cool. Highly recommend!

Came on a weekday at around 10pm and we were able to get a room pretty quickly for a group of 5. You can make a reservation in advance, and there is street parking around Japantown. This location is at Japantown on Geary street behind the main mall and connected to the Little Sweet store, so you can actually get boba while you're singing karaoke here! Our room was clean and spacious enough for our group, and the system was pretty easy to navigate. They also serve drinks including soju cocktails along with the Little Sweet boba. The price came out to about $36/hour and $22/soju cocktail. Overall, a fun place for karaoke after eating a meal at Japantown!

Made a reservation ahead on their website which was efficient and easy (require a deposit). Got a medium size room for a group of 6 and I think it's decent space, clean and comfortable. We ordered some soju drinks and it was homemade I think but tasted delicious (lychee and yogurt was great). The mic worked well and they are nice to give us the starting time as the time we came (we arrived a bit late). Only complaint is that their system got stuck a few times and we got the guy to restart the system and a few times we sing and the song stop suddenly on its own and restart with the new songs. I hope they can work on their system. But they do have a wide variety of languages for songs. The bathroom is clean as well and staff are attentive and nice. Overall, it's a good place to come here and it seems like a popular spot. I like to come back next time to try the boba tea.

Easy to mistake this place for just a boba shop. Turns out it's Little Sweet boba in the front and K Box karaoke in the back. It's all connected in this one hallway. A pretty convenient set up since you can order boba there that gets delivered to your room. Great service and clean interior. Inside is a bit small and the decor is simple, but the room is so dark it doesn't matter much. You can adjust the light settings to get the disco strobe colors on. A giant microphone also hangs from the ceiling. Karaoke machine was easy to use and had good song selections, including some recent releases. Had a great time here! The combo of boba and karaoke is awesome. Would recommend.

Only 2 people working, including the guy running the kitchen. Food took 1 hour and even though I called ahead to see if we can order until the kitchen closes, we weren't able to order food after 11pm. The rooms are cool but the machine kept malfunctioning and we couldn't find staff to help. They charged us for the entire 2 hours even though they shut down the machines 30 minutes before we were supposed to leave. Won't be coming here again.

Came here for a bday party and it was exactly what we needed for our group of 10. There was a good selection of music and easy to work tablet. We did order 2 of the soju cocktails to share but wish they came out bigger. Smaller than expected. Overall had a great experience and would come back again.

I will not go to any other karaoke place again. WHERE HAVE I BEEN? Gone are the days where I will flip through an alphabetized (by song) song book, trying to find what song to sing. At K-Box, we look up artists on the screen and it lists ALL their songs. Gone are the days where I will sing to generic music videos with random girls walking around a pond. K-Box has the *actual* music videos. Gone are the days where you'll have to sneak in drinks cuz K-Box HAS drinks! Soju, flavor soju, wine. If you need anything else, that's on you. If you're hungry, they have egg puffs, or egg waffles right at the front. Drink it down with some milk tea. Everyone always has a great time here.

I haven't heard of K-box until very recently but I definitely recommend this place!! The reservation process was so easy (just call in advance - no deposit required) and affordable! They have large (14-15 people), medium (8-10 people), and small rooms available for reservation by hour. I booked one large and two medium rooms for my party of 25. Although my whole party did not arrive at the same time, I was able to start my time for each room separately which I thought was really nice of them! Each room was very clean, comfortable, and modernized (there were so many sound settings available). They also had a hanging mic in each room which we thought was pretty unique too. Although you cannot bring in outside food and drinks, they do have snacks and boba/coffee on site for purchase!

This place is my new go to karaoke spot in San Francisco. It is very clean, and the staff is amazing. My friends and I came a bit late, and we left a bit late, but they were super accommodating, and didn't make me feel like I was in a rush, even though it was my fault. Additionally, the medium sized room is pretty spacious for about 6-8 people, and they have a cool mic set up that hangs down from the ceiling. Controlling the music was also pretty simple, and they had good choices of music available. I will be coming here again, and recommend it to everyone. My only complaint is that it's hard to find the entrance

People rave about the music selection but their systems are a nightmare to search through, especially while your group is actively singing. Great for K-pop and things you may have heard on TikTok. Not so great for 80s, 90s, 00s. Good luck if you are looking for Country music. And you will frequently get multiple options for popular songs and need to just "guess" where you have a equal chance at either a muzak-sounding version of your favorite karaoke song or a really creep paired video that looks like it was shot in Eastern Europe or SE Asia in the 90s. If you just want to smuggle in liquor with your friends (they don't serve any here) and get blitzed in a small room....um...enjoy?

My friends and I went for a late night Karaoke session. We had a blast. They had all the music that you could want or need. It was a great time!

Went here for my birthday, and first time going to a private karaoke room. The room I rented was for 8 people, but I underestimated the size and we had a party of 10 lol luckily the staff was nice enough to let us take the room. He did mention it would only accommodate 8 people, and I think he was right bc of the size of the room; it's pretty small and is only big enough for sitting down. It still worked out for us in the long run though! We were at the karaoke bar for about an hour or 2, and it was really fun! Plus side is that there's a boba shop inside the karaoke bar, so you can order boba and snacks and they'll deliver it to your room. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely go again!

They offer private karaoke rooms available for reservation & walk-ins, and deliver soju and boba directly to your room. -- K-BOX is a popular karaoke spot in Japantown hidden behind a Little Sweet Boba storefront. They offer rooms with microphones (plus one that hangs from the ceiling), lights, and a large array of songs across many languages (the songs and search system are a little janky but the vibes are still good) One of the best parts about K-BOX is that you can order Little Sweet boba and drinks directly to your room! The alcoholic menu mainly consists of different flavored soju pitchers for $22 each. I would highly recommend the Lychee Soju and the Little Sweet White Gourd/Wintermelon Milk Tea. Make sure to call (628) 999-0183 to make a reservation ahead of time if you don't want to wait for hours on the weekend. The rooms don't require a deposit and are $42/hour for a medium room (~6-10 people). There are no warnings when your time is up, but they will charge you extra if you go overtime so be mindful. Have fun!!!

This place literally charged me extra, admitted it over the phone and on text, and then they ghosted me and I never got a refund. I preordered an hour online, they charged me 35 dollars. After our 2 hour session, the guy working in front said he would charge us for 2 hours, one hour normal price, one hour happy hour price. Cool so they must have refunded me the initial hour I paid earlier right? Nope the charge is still there weeks later. After conversing with them on the phone and through texting, they admitted it was wrong and said their payment system is tricky and new and to wait while they figure out how to refund. I first messaged them November 12, then again November 15, they say to wait. I message again Dec 18, nothing. Avoid this place.

My boyfriend and I come here quite often for some fun bonding time, to hang out with friends, or to do something late at night. It gets pretty busy on the weekends, so we usually go during the weekdays early in the evening or make a reservation. I personally think the pricing is very fair considering how up to date their systems are. It's about $70 for 2-5 I believe, double check that though. They have the fancy tablets with the youtube videos. You can choose whether you want to sing with the original songs or on your which is pretty neat. They even have a whole variety of food and boba which are pretty yummy for a late night snack. Overall, this place is amazing and deserves a lot more attention and recognition. My boyfriend and I have been karaoke-ing to so many places, and this one always lands on top!

Really nice spot for karaoke in the middle of Japantown. Decent food and drinks. Good service. Song list was just alright; okay variety, but not too large. Our room was a bit tight, but we also had a small group. Not completely sound proof, and got a lot of ambient sound from other rooms. Cause use another bathroom; there was always a line, which became annoying. Open late, so that's a plus.

Affordable private Karaoke in the city good for small and large groups! Bonus: There's alcohol available for purchase and a Little Sweet if you're craving boba! What's nice is that they have two options: without or with backing vocals so if you're not as comfortable and/or everyone can follow along to the song and participate. You can also ask for instruments so that all folks can engage whether singing or not. I do want to note though that some fairly popular songs will not work, and will show a stock video of throwback KPOP girl groups with the original track playing but no lyrics... still it's worth your money and definitely fun!

Reservation was for 7, we didn't get seated for like 10 mins, there was only 1 staff there cooking, making drinks, and seating us. We got to our room and ordered drinks by the time the drinks got there it was already 7:40 so we decided to extend our time. Nobody ever came to check on us again for the rest do the night. We stayed a total of 3.5 hours and decided to leave and come back with outside drinks since the service was terrible and the drink size was very small for $18. At the end I requested they take off 30mins of the time since we didn't get or drinks til 30 mins in, and being seated also ate up into our time. The cashier acknowledged it was busy and that we were served late, but said he couldn't take off the time. Badly run, and honestly finding a song they actually had took the longest.

My friend and her boyfriend wanted to go to karaoke one Saturday night, and when they said Japantown, I didn't expect K-BOX because I'd never seen it or heard of it! It's on Geary and is easy-to-get-to from the Japantown parking lot (and good food, of course!) Reasonably-priced and clean, they did not offer food and drinks when we were there but said they would be soon. The seating was comfy and cute. Beware--the karaoke machines offer a lot of Asian songs and music videos, oftentimes playing Asian versions of popular English songs when we wanted to play the English versions. Service was warm and wonderful, I loved the lighting, and we will be back!

This place is fantastic. We were looking to do karaoke on a Thursday night spontaneously and debated between this and another spot. We snagged one of the medium rooms which is a cozy box with sofa seating that can easily fit 10 people. Queueing up music is pretty easy. They're working with Little Sweet next door for boba though I doubt they sell boba at night, which is when a bulk of karaoke happens. Lightning is fairly customizable with three switches. You get two microphones and inside each room is also another one attached to the screen.

Love this place. Decent rates, clean rooms, kind and professional service, and so much fun. The karaoke system itself can be confusing to operate, but if that's a really impressive and deep library of songs. I also thought it was so cute and a nice touch that the microphones all have little sanitary caps on them. Will always come here!! 10/10

I didn't intend to become a serial karaoke bar reviewer, but here I am with review number 3. This is what you get when your favorite people are passionate about singing as a sport. Surprisingly affordable (at least on weekday nights) despite it being quite classy - there are nice leather seats and big rooms and disco lights and high tech karaoke machines strapped to huge flat screen TVs. Highlights: - Boba delivery to your room - Mic covers. We love hygiene - You can customize screen marquees with little affirmations for your friends while they sing ("wow so beautiful kevin") - Ability to toggle accompaniment on/off (for all the times you're like - how does this part go??)

Connect to Little Sweet, this karaoke place was almost a mystery to get to. After passing the order kiosk at Little Sweet, head to the desk that's right beyond. You'll know it's the right desk because if you turn around you can see right into the kitchen of little sweet. I made reservations for a small room at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and we got into our room at 2:33. The man who led us to the room asked if we knew how to use the screen to choose songs and we didn't so he explained it. It's pretty self explanatory and works intuitively. Click the search bar, type out the artist or song name and put it into your queue. (I never found the space button) You can see which songs you've selected by pressing "Select". There you can move songs up by pressing the up arrow next to the song. Heads up: the songs you just put into the queue will be the next song played. The rooms were fairly nice, surprisingly considering the fact that I've been to the karaoke place on Noreiga years ago and that looked closer to a smoke and sing spot. This looked clean, decent, and the small room could comfortably fit 4-6 people (although we only had two). You can also use the QR code by the door to order Little Sweet. Now here's why I took a star off. No where on the screen or in the room did it tell us how much time we had left. It was up to us to keep track. The reason for that is PROBABLY because they will CHARGE YOU $6 FOR EVERY 10 MINUTES YOU GO OVER. okay? So, keep that in mind because no where in the room does it say that nor were we told about this. So keep that in mind but $36 for an hour for a small room (or $42 for an hour and ten minutes) was worth it. They had an amazing and up to date selection of songs but for some reason only had a few Gidle songs.... Hmm...... Tip: the rooms aren't sound proof. Once we exited we got to hear an amazing rendition of "Cheer Up" by Twice sung by the room across from us. In the room though, you don't hear much of the outside.

If you're into sober karaoke this may be the place for you. No thanks for me. For me, the liquid courage is half the fun.

I loooooved this place!!! At first I was concerned about others reviews saying they had very few songs in English, but I personally found all the songs I wanted. Even the newer ones. Everything from Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Paramore, and Harry Styles to Drake, The Beatles, Bon Jovi, and Kanye. All the classic Karaoke songs: Sweet Caroline, Mr. Brightside, Blink182, Since You've been Gone, etc. Everything was new, super modern, and clean! The boba was also great :). We got a medium room for 8 people. Made a reservation at 7pm and stayed until 10pm. 10/10

They said they close at 4am, I came here at 2am and the guy won't let us in unless we pay extra

Honestly I always have a great time here. Private rooms and they serve little sweet!!

This place is always busy. I think that it helps that's it's newer and sells alcohol and boba onsite. I'm not sure you can walk in without a reservation on a weekend so definitely call ahead, and if you're ever wondering if you should make a longer reservation, just do it. It's nearly impossible to extend the reservation once you're there because the next party will be waiting for you to leave. To queue songs, there's a station near the screen so only one person can search and select at a time. It would be helpful to have a playlist ahead of time to maximize your time there. It's easy to shuffle songs, so that's nice.
