K' Bueno tacos, burritos & more

Stopped in because I saw they had a bison burrito and I haven't had bison yet. The burrito came with beans, cheese, rice, corn and avocado. According to the menu it was also supposed to have garlic & salsa but I couldn't taste either in the burrito. Still a decent burrito though. It wasn't until I was nearly done that I realized I should've asked for hot sauce. It's a small location with only two tables inside but it was a lovely day out and the patio is VERY nice. It's right next to the road but the bushes planted help make it feel shielded. It was nice to sit with my burrito and watch traffic get backed up on Cerrillos.

I live in Dallas and am used to tortas that are big and tasty. The tortas here are small, with stale dry bread that broke apart, tasteless ground buffalo meat, lettuce, tomato and corn, but for a big price. This was truly the worst torta I have ever had. I did not know they could be so bad. The menu does not state the price for it, but it was almost $13! The worker did not offer to give me a receipt. I drove a long ways to get here, and it was a big waste of time and money.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! Guacamole was amazing, made to order chips and food… and the spicy sauce was absolutely amazing. We may be in town only a few days, but we’ll be back to try more

Tried K'Bueno for the first time and it was good! Had a christmas breakfast burrito and it was a good size for $10. Chile was not hot, but the burrito had a good flavor. I would say the inner parts of the burrito were oddly yellow? Didn't have a bad taste or anything, just interesting. But not bad burrito!

Alright y’all if you are traveling you have to stop here for a bite to eat! They have THE BEST breakfast burritos! They are huge too! If you are a big back like me and want something to keep you full the whole day definitely stop here to eat! They have a lot of different options to choose from, there is something for everyone! The family is super nice and maintains a very clean and friendly atmosphere! Stop by for a great bite that is worth your dollar!

How did we never try this place before?!?! The portion sizes are huge and the flavors are amazing. We tried breakfast burritos (1 sausage Xmas & 1 chorizo green) and tacos Al pastor. Usually breakfast burritos contain french fries, but here you get real, yummy potatoes. The homemade salsas are fire! Melvin (the owner) couldn’t have been nicer and his positive, sunny energy is contagious. You’ll leave this place with your bellies very full, leftovers for later and a huge smile on your face!

Excellent food, they make their tortilla chips fresh there! We got the Asada burrito and they were nice enough to cut it in half and pack them separately for us to share. Their salsas are simple, but very flavorful. Would definitely go back again!

In search of breakfast on a budget, we came across this small restaurant in Santa Fe that only looks unassuming. Big, bold flavors are stuffed into these two-hand burritos. I had the bacon burrito that comes with egg, hash browns, chunky potatoes, cheese and crispy bacon. The red chili, which I was told was the spicier choice, had a depth to it that was more than the heat that comes with it. My boyfriend’s burrito was similar but instead of bacon, he chose sausage and the “X-más” chili, a combination of both red and green chili. He said the sausage and potatoes were perfectly cooked and the only thing that struggled to keep its composure was the tortilla which tightly hugged the food. Just as impressive as the food are the young men behind the counter. The cook quickly prepared our food and didn’t sacrifice the quality for speed. And the youngest, who’s the cashier, is smart, passionate about the food they sell and incredibly polite. In a place where there’s no shortage of restaurants, this place which has only been open for two years, truly stands out in product and service. Wishing them much success!

Ordered a bison burger, which is on the menu and in pictures advertised. Tipped $5, got the order pretty quick (to go) Was checking my order and noticed it was a bison burrito. I went back in and let them know, and the cook said plainly.. no. So...uh.. yeah. Burrito was pretty bad. Who eats ground bison in a burrito???? Sloppy mess, half of it fell out. Second bad experience here. What a shame.

Very expensive for what you get. Also, difficulty communicating exactly what I wanted. Asked for vegan offers and only offered portobello taco or burritos. Taco was small but tasty

Ok- yes it looks a bit sketch outside. But inside the warmth of the cooks and their amazing food will warm your heart and plate. Fantastic breakfast burrito- I recommend the Christmas version with both red and green sauce. Our group loved the breakfast and it's a huge amount of food for the money. Nice shaded outdoor seating.

Love love love. Perfect burritos literally could not be better. The place is tiny so you gotta sit outside if you are ordering to go which is cool with me. All the people working are super nice, you get your food quickly even with just one chef. I love you K'Bueno!

We stopped here for a quick snack and ordered two tacos (bison and al pastor). Our friends got the fluatas. All were delicious! It seems like it's a small family operation with the kids helping and the front counter. Food was freshly made so took a little bit of time, but the wait was worth it!

A small shop on cerrillos. Their menu is on a TV that blinks every few seconds so try and read quick. Besides that we really enjoyed the burritos we got. I got a carne asada which was delicious and flavorful. They brought out the Guatemalan sauce pictured below which was a great addition! It's not really spicy just flavorful. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

The food had no flavor whatsoever. Watered down salsa and horchata. The "bison" was a mystery meat for sure. Just bad all around.

Immediately through the door, the cashier kindly greeted us and took our orders quickly and respectfully! The bison burritos were so delicious and I loved the salsa brought to the table! The ambiance is well kept with little tokens to remind you of the amazing heritage and history of the area, like the cute little napkin holder!

Great casual spot for homemade tacos, chips, salsa, and guacamole. Shaded outside eating area was very nice. Got the taco plate with 3 different fillings, black beans and rice. Nicely seasoned asada, chicken, al pastor. Freshly made tortilla chips were excellent.

All of the tacos here were impeccable. The bison burrito was probably the best burrito I've ever had! Sitting on the patio watching the mountain while enjoying my food was a great experience.

K'Bueno is a delightful establishment. The service was quick and good. Took our orders and the food was out in minutes! The food was also delicious. I got the bison burrito and it was one of the most amazing burritos I have had in a while. The bison was earthy and yummy! The outside seating was cool and made me feel like I was at home!

Our next stop on the food review tour was at @kbueno_2021 in Santa Fe and was an absolute treat. Located along the road, this small restaurant with outdoor dining option and small indoor dining room really tugged at my first generation immigrant heart This family owned father-son operation was a real treat to watch in person tucked safely in the home like cozy dining room. The tacos I ordered : vegetarian, Al pastor and bison were each seasoned bold yet perfectly and not overly spicy. I loved all my tacos equally. Martin, the owners son acted as the Spanish-English liaison between customers and his father. He told me that his family is from South America (I want to say Guatemala, but please don't quote me!), and that he loves working in the restaurant (I REALLY enjoyed watching his work ethic and the father-son relationship between them. For a young man, he was incredibly mature. We will definitely be back! Great little quick food stop. Had the chorizo breakfast burritos with both the red and green chilis. So flavorful! and the flour tortilla was thin and crispy on the edges. Delicious! Service was very friendly and fast. we ate outside and enjoyed the warm February sunshine. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on the way back from Meow Wolf. Great authentic from scratch food. The tacos were awesome and these were really the best chips I've ever had. Melvin was so welcoming and the service was great. Highly recommend for a quick tasty lunch

Ive seen good reviews of K'Bueno so had high hopes for my breakfast burrito that remain unfulfilled. For $6+tax the burrito is a great price, substantial and the griddle sear was a lovely touch. But the red chile in my red chile sausage burrito had no flavor. It added a nice moisture but I wanted heat and flavor. I'd have been ok with just flavor. I want to give them another try, because I want to like them.

Unexpected great meal. Owner was friendly, food excellent, inside clean with an open kitchen.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. We were immediately met with hostility from the staff and the people dining who were related or friends with the staff. We ordered our food and it was overpriced and they told us to wait outside and they would bring us our food. 45 minutes later the man who took our order left! We decided to go to real burger around the corner and we are very satisfied with their service. DO NOT GO HERE!

Great flavor but it was basically pinto beans ,cheese and white rice. Red salsa was delicious but green salsa was very watery. Where's the carne asada in my burrito ?? $12

I got the el pastor burrito. The guy was really nice and the burrito was fantastic (one of the best I've had). Will definitely be back next time I'm in Santa Fe.

Went here for the first time today for lunch. Had the Bison burrito. Very good, and HUGE. Worth the price. I'll definitely come back some time, I want to try the Tostadas de Camaron. I've heard the breakfast burritos are great too and also huge. Will also try that some time. The beverages are an assortment of canned and bottled offerings. Outdoor seating area is nice. This is the building where Baja Tacos used to be.

BOMB breakfast burritos. My husband and I swung by before going for a hike and they were delicious and LARGE given how cheap they were. We both got sausage and Xmas style. There's a little seating area outside so we got to sit with our dog. Best breakfast burrito we had during our time in Santa Fe.

This place has among the best tacos, burrotos ect in Santa Fe. Their cook uses great quality ingredients, makes seasoned rice, home made beans with all the right spices and virtually every dish here is among the best you'll have in town. They have a fairly extensive vegatarian menu with sauteed mushrooms that are delicious and their Birria is amazing and worth a visit alone. Get their chile arbol red sauce on the side which is very spicy and you'll become a regular. Note, this is a Mexican restaurant, not Southwest, so do not expect red and green chile poured over everything.

The service was very friendly and quick. It was nice to sit outside on the simple patio on a beautiful Santa Fe day. The food was fine, but not extremely flavorful and not "anything to write home about". I might stop here again if I was just looking for a quick snack.

This place was so good! We had been waiting to catch it when it was open and it was totally worth it. We had the bison taco and omg it was so good the taco was perfectly fried (ya know that extra good crunch you only get with a real taco) anyway this place was delish

There are two things that earn a good restaurant review on Yelp: tasty food and great service. K'Bueno has awesome street-style tacos and burritos. Plus they have a whole bunch more like homemade mole, horchata, and aqua fresca. Everything's fresh and delicious. The portions are huge and you get way more than you pay for. And speaking of paying, the owner has gone way above and beyond to help out hungry travelers on Cerillos Rd. The staff is outta sight friendly, professional, and generous. You really feel like you're family at K'Bueno and family feeds you good. Definitely a must-go when in Santa Fe. This place is a delightful tradition.

The fresh watermelon juice is amazing!!! I had Carne Asada plate: 3 tacos, rice and beans. The flavor of the carne asada is wonderful. It did have a couple pieces of gristle though. The others had a mix of kinds of tacos and the other favorite was chicken with guacamole on it. They have a really nice covered outdoor seating area. Very good!
