The 13 Best Restaurants In Greenwich - London - The Infatuation

"A tiny takeaway spot neighboured by chicken shops, K Kitchen serves a relatively compact menu of broadly Korean and South East Asian dishes. The bibimbap is fine (although we suggest preparing your own egg at home to prevent it overcooking in transit), but it’s the Korean fried chicken that leaves the local competition in the dust. Boneless thigh fillets are cloaked with crispy batter, then glazed with a choice of four sauces. The plum and garlic has a perfect balance of pungency, sweetness, and lingering spiciness. " - Jonathan Hatchman

Exceeded my expectations! Food was delicious and flavourful. Owners and staff very attentive and took care to prepare our food wonderfully. A well thought out menu with plenty of variety without causing decision paralysis. Look forward to frequenting more often when we need a food fix!

K Kitchen, Woolwich: A Kool But Hit and Miss Korean Takeaway Public Transport: Train: Woolwich Arsenal Station Bus: Numerous bus routes serve Woolwich, including 180, 422, 472, and 486. Halal Certification: K Kitchen proudly uses Halal-certified ingredients, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. Dining Experience: While K Kitchen offers a cozy space for up to four people, it's primarily known for its takeaway services through platforms like Just Eat and Uber Eats. This makes it a convenient choice for those seeking a quick and delicious Korean meal. Food Review: Chicken & Vegetable Gyoza: These homemade gyoza were a decent start, but the filling could benefit from a bit more flavor, perhaps with additional spring onions and spices. Prawns & Chicken Bokumbap: The addition of a fried egg to my order elevated this dish significantly. While the sauce was present, it could have been more pronounced. Korean Fried Chicken: K Kitchen's Korean fried chicken is a standout. The double-fried method ensures a crispy exterior, and the Plum Garlic Chilli and Honey Butter Garlic sauces are particularly delicious. Kimchi Jeon: Unfortunately, the kimchi jeon didn't quite hit the mark. The texture was different from what I've experienced at other Korean restaurants, and the dipping sauce was merely okay. Overall: K Kitchen offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and provides a variety of Korean dishes. While some items were more successful than others, it's a solid option for a quick and satisfying Korean meal, especially if you're looking for takeaway.

Upon arrival the customer service was amazing! We ordered the Korean Fried Chicken - honey butter garlic (£7.95 - 5 boneless pieces), Crunchy fried wings - savoury without sauce (£7.50 - 6 pieces), kimchi bokumpap - with beef (£11.95), and regular chips (£2.50) We really enjoyed the honey butter garlic Korean Fried Chicken, and the Kimchi Bokumpap with beef. There is no music, and they were very accommodating to us needing to pray, we pushed the chairs out and prayed in between the tables, as there were no other customers in the shop (We fixed the tables and chairs after) Would really recommend K Kitchen!!

Awesome food, each of the sauces are home made by hand and you can taste it! Simple but varied menu, lovely staff, clean and lovely presentation of take away dishes and would come here every day if I lived next door. I travelled an hour to come here after good reviews, worth every mile. I wish you guys a lot of success with your future business. 🥘🍲🥗🍤🥟

Wow so amazing!! I am Korean and I really enjoy them! The Korean fried chicken was little different from what I expected but really delicious(sweet chili taste) but do not recommand the plum taste... that is not Korean taste and really sour. The best is glass noodle. Recommand that. Next time I will add some notes that I want sunny side up for my egg. This egg was little overcooked.

It's a shame to write this as I order frequently. (Over Past 3 Years) Ordered a katsu curry main and the curry sauce that came with it was not appropriate (amount/texture/taste). It was basically curry water. (See photo) Fed up and not wanting this to ruin my meal, I had to fix it myself by using some butter, flour and curry powder which saved it. It's a shame that the restaurant could not resolve my issue on the day (the girl on the phone was nice) and thankfully I had the ingredients to avoid my meal being ruined!!! Please inspect the quality of your food before you serve it to your customers!
