K Space Contemporary

Delightful exploration of an art space. Nice pieces on display and good shopping as well. Space is good for a quick cultural experience and looks like a great place for a small event. The weekly market is small however the vendor selection is nice.

Small art gallery. No admission charge. They always have great exhibits. They’ve expanded into the space that faces Chaparral and relocated the gift shop to that area. Typically they have an opening reception for new exhibits during first Friday Art Walk. There’s also a cool mural of lotería pieces reimagined by south Texas artists on the exterior wall of the building, accessible and visible from Chaparral.

The back wall of the K Space Contemporary building is decorated with a huge display of the Mexican bingo game la loteria. It is very colorful and neat to look at all the cards. Where is El Borracho though :-)

Great local gallery showcasing the best of Coastal Texas.

I miss the art, the people and the friendly vibe of this gallery.

A must see attraction in Corpus Christi. It was such a great exhibit of the Art Collection of Jean Walters. We spent more time than we thought we would but it was so good we took our time just learning so much about the art. The young lady at the front door at the counter was delightful and so friendly. She was a joy to talk to as she shared her love for the place and her involvement with the mural project. If you are visiting the city of Corpus Christi stop by. I highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful museum that is completely free.

Support the arts and visit your local galleries featuring local artists and their works. Cool space with a gift shop selling shirts, stickers, and posters with local images celebrating local artists, artwork, and culture.

I love this little Gallery! The artwork is always fresh and inventive, and very inspirational to say the least. They have a wonderful little gift shop in which the work of the artists that work in the studios upstairs showcase their pieces for purchase. That is not to say that only fine art work is sold here, however - they have a great number of small keepsakes, souvenirs, and functional art (among other things) that make wonderful additions to any home, or perfect and personal gifts. If you haven't been here - even if you are not an art enthusiast - I highly recommend checking it out!
