Solid prices and portion sizes for Korean food! K Star Doshirak was established in Seoul, South Korea in 2008, and doshirak means lunch boxes. Their lunch box style main dishes are served with rice, protein, and a side of fresh vegetable wraps. This is the first location that opened in the United States. It was about a 20 minute wait for an order placed online around 5pm on a Friday. My order was ready when I arrived, and I tried:

-Spicy Pork Bowl (w/Pan Fried Vegetables, Rice, $8.95, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=OAK-TBYeQiGV1T1kLMb2MA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum- solid spicy pork bowl! Their spicy pork could have been spicier, but it had good flavor. I loved the ample vegetables in this bowl, and it was more than enough for a meal- recommended!
-LA Galbi Doshirak (w/Rice, Salad, Pickled Radish, Gyoza, Ssam/Korean Vegetable Wrap, $18.99 + $3.99 Beef, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7Yw_OC7r_HGEWLOYuU8taQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ZTjfgy8_3BVs4aNpy3nbpg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Solid LA galbi, and flavorful. Some of the galbi pieces were a little overcooked, but this was a decent price since it came with gyoza and other sides. It was definitely worth it to add a side of beef, which was pretty good.
-Smart Kimchi ($11, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Q4QK-3FLG4ByS7_R1vHpnw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): One of the better versions of kimchi I've had in a while. They packaged it fresh when I ordered it, and sealed it with a special machine.
Overall, this is a solid option if you're looking for a quick meal. Parking was easy to find in this lot since there were plenty of spots.
