Where to Find the Best Korean Restaurants in and Around New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"A West Bank gem next to Hong Kong Market and the owner David Park’s first New Orleans spot after running places in Florida and Los Angeles. Recommended starters are pan-seared dumplings, spicy ramen, and especially japchae (savory stir-fried sweet potato glass noodles with beef). All the banchan are made fresh daily, there are vegetarian options like tofu-driven stews, and there are marinated-meat choices for bulgogi devotees." - Beth D’Addono

Delicious Korean dishes. Located in the Broward Mall. Pictured is the shrimp and rice option. Great counter service. Stop by while shopping in the mall. They also have a large variety of handmade drinks and sweet treats.

I love this place....As you can tell, our food is already half eaten. We got the tteok-bokki cream with some spice in it (it does not originally come with spice but they added it for us) and I kid you not, that was some of the best food I have ever had. The second dish was gomtang ramyun noodle soup and my opinion is the same. It tasted amazing. This is my new favorite place, everything here is delicious. I highly recommend k-town over all the other restaurants in the vicinity, it is a hidden gem.

Google
Great place to eat. I enjoyed the Tteobokki very spicy with bulgogi and a boiled egg. Delicious! I also had the mango lemonade with passion bubba. No food or drink was left behind. Will come again.

The guy that took our order was really kind and patient while my granddaughter went through the menu to figure out the drink she wanted (green apple fruit tea w/ strawberry popping boba). The drinks were amazing and this is the best tteokbokki I've had. We got it with a lot of spice & cheese. So delicious. Definitely my new fav spot!

Im sure the food is good here, just never get the boba. Ive NEVER had to pay $9.40 for milk tea + two toppings. I got no ice and the cup was 1/4 empty compared to the 1/7 the cashier told me it would be. PLUS it was warm! Usually they put ice in then take it out to give you cold tea still. Not even that, theres barely any toppings in it. Its expensive and they scrimp. I reccomend Jade Tea. Its around a 5 minute drive from this place and its much better! I only came here because I was walking. Never again.

The rosé tteokbokki was delicious! And the dalgona challenge was very fun. I won and got a pair of cute socks! Surprisingly a reasonable price! About 20$ for my food, a drink, and a dessert! Would and will go again. 😋 🧑‍🍳Staff: 10/10 🍜food: 10/10 💰price: 10/10 Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The most tender, tasty bulgogi beef I’ve ever had. I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked. You’d never know this was in a food court based on the quality of everything they give you.

We first found this little gem inside a big asian market way back in 2022. They had then left and have been to multiple farmer’s market and now they’re located in the food court of Broward Mall. The owner has always been consistent with their quality and has been coming up with a lot of authentic korean food in addition to all the drinks that are on the menu and also coming up with different pastries. Huge selection of korean street food! My current love is the korean triangle rice with shrimp tempura, and my husband loves their rosé rabokki. We also love the dumplings, their homemade sauces, their side dishes are amazing. We also love their japchae which is my daughter’s favorite! For our drinks we like to switch it up between cookies and creams smoothie with boba, honeydew smoothie, brown sugar fresh milk, vanilla ice cream latte, sometimes the fruit teas, and always a banana milk for our little one. Sooo many fruit juice pouch selections that are famous in korea! And their best seller ube brownie, ube cheesecake and the mochis are all wonderful. Wonderful owners, amazing people ❤️ All the 1 star reviews that I’ve read are confusing this shop K-Town to the one that’s currently inside the asian market which is not K-Town’s.

Yelp
Amazing food. And sweets. Closed on Sundays but great hours Monday-Saturday. Great smoothies, Brownies that are actually healthy that taste great, and AMAZING dumplings and soups Ownership is very nice and personable and love explaining the food.

Yelp
Let's be fair... I need to give this place another try but until then they will stay at a three out of five stars. Nothing exciting, the unsweetened Boba was meh. I don't like sweet boba, always ask for it without added sugar, but expect to taste the tea. I will be back to add more to my review but right now there are other better places. Just look at my account, I review Boba all over!

Yelp
I Didn't Ascend. I Transcended. I bit into the ube brownie at K-Town and briefly left this plane of existence. I don't know what kind of ancient magic or butter-drenched sorcery they're baking into that thing, but it wasn't just dessert -- it was a religious experience. The top was perfectly crisp, like it had been kissed by a purple angel with a blowtorch. The inside? Perfect mix- not too fudgy but also not dry. Ube-rich. It tasted like if a brownie and a cloud had a passionate affair in the Philippines and blessed us with their firstborn. I blacked out halfway through eating it and woke up holding an empty wrapper and whispering "thank you" to no one in particular. Honestly, I would fight a bear for another one. Maybe two bears. Bare-handed. This isn't a dessert. It's a life event.

Yelp
Horrible customer service I left immediately didn't even get to try anything! The guy in the front was uninterested not helpful and was so dry it was sad.

Yelp
This will be a long one :) K Town is the best Korean place I've been to! From great staff, to great food. They always welcome my daughter and me and take interest in everything we say. The food is phenomenal. Made from scratch and in house, you won't find better. I've tried many Korean places around. Their strawberry latter made with real strawberries, sooo good. Their steamed dumplings with house made sauce, you won't find anywhere!! Their Dalgona Cookie is amazingly good and if you get the shape out, you get a prize !!! Try these: Korean taco, kimbap, mochi (not ice cream mochi), and much more! Run to this place!!!

Yelp
A must have- Ube brownie !!!! The kimchi and cucumber kimchi are also YUMMY!!! The other hot foods are the typical Korean street foods. Service was GREAT. The food preparer was super nice and helpful....don't know if this is skewed because we got there at the opening of the day and there was no one else there. This is a stand in the food court.....not a sit down restaurant . There is a kiosk for ordering which makes things fast.

Josiah H.

Yelp
Their Ube brownies are the best brownies I have ever had!!! Boba tea is top quality and not too sweet.

Yelp
Came to visit them again after they opened up near where I live. Loved trying even more options of their Korean street food and boba teas, and of course friendly owners as always. Will be back again soon!

Yelp
They have a picture of a strawberry cream mochi on their display which is pink on the outside and a jelly inside. It looks so good. I ordered it, it was around $5 for one. When I first got it, I saw it was actually white so I went back and asked if I had ordered the right one. The guy assured me it was. After trying it, and having my family try it too, I have to say it's the worst thing I have ever had. So bad I even went back to tell them about it and maybe warn them that something might be off. They were pretty passive aggressive and offended and although I might understand their point of view, they should welcome customer criticism a little better and maybe not put pictures of things on their menu that looks nothing like what they sell.

Yelp
Ahhh I am so happy to have discovered K-Town at Aventuras Marketplace! The bulgogi beef tacos were absolutely amazing! They were an explosion of flavors and textures and absolutely delicious! I also have the Taro milk boba and my bf had the passion fruit/mango boba, of course another hit!

Yelp
I visited K-Town in Aventura Mall for the Farmers Market event. I was with my girlfriend and we just finished eating a salty meal and were looking for something to drink. After visiting a couple juice vendors we stumbled upon K-town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They recommended Tiger's Milk which is a customer favorite and after a pleasant conversation they gifted us a Korean cookie, was a very nice gesture. I will have to admit that the bubble tea was by far my favorite order out of the entire Farmers Market vendors that I visited. I will definitely be visiting again but this time I'm expecting to order something else and get the full K-Town experience.

Yelp
Ordered ahead of time and accidentally ordered twice but they called to double check if I got charged twice. She told me they credited me back but that didn't happen so I guess I just made a really big tip. We got the dalgona coffee latte which was super tasty especially with the honeycomb pieces.

Yelp
Awesome Korean Super Market with to go deli food that is also SUPER TASTY. Very Clean and helpful staff. The boba tea was very good. Great quality and selection of products. This is like the I-Fresh on 163rd that but Korean instead on Chinese.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this after a Yelp search for bubble tea. This is tucked away in a small korean market called Kimchi Mart. To the left as you entered you will find a bakery section along with boba and korean goodies. Fairly clean and friendly services. The Taro ice blend was perfect for my taste., very well blended along with concentrated flavors. Will definitely be on my lost to visit for my next trip in town.

Yelp
So far this is the best Korean market I found in south florida I'm actually sad i didn't know about it sooner When I walked in I was honestly shocked at how nice it was and it reminded me of the neighborhood marts I would go to in Korea :) I was told they sell food like kimbap in the morning and they also have a boba shop inside!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty clean mart. They do have food that you can take to go that is pretty tasty. I had the fish sandwich and it was full of flavor. I loved it and would purchase that again. I haven't had the chance to shop there but I will go again for a shopping visit.

Yelp
Inside kimchi market. They an extensive list of bubble teas. My girls love the slushy and with the boba.

The Gamers G.

Yelp
Highly recommend!! Amazing brown sugar milk tea and the employees are super nice. They have a variety of options of drinks and food. Although a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it

Yelp
I love the new place inside the supermarket. I don't like that places usually don't have many options for dietary restriction but they do! They have almond milk and I'm loving the matcha strawberry drink. The balance of the matcha and straw Betis a nice balance so is not super sweet! I love it

Yelp
i am very surprised that more people aren't reviewing this place. the station where they make the teas and smoothies is very clean. they are super nice. and the flavors are delicious. just got a taro smoothie and the boba was the perfect consistency. fair pricing and good serving sizes. definitely go get some boba today!!

Eliana S.

Yelp
I really like there all drinks:) also they have Bulgogi Taco and Ube Browines Oh This K-Town is Inside Kimchi mart

Yelp
i loved this stand. i visited kimchi mart for the first time and saw this stand inside as well and literally the week after they announce that they want to move onto something different, possibly a standalone shop vs. in a market. the male and female team was so nice and quick. drinks were great. they will be missed and if and when their own shop opens i'll be one of the first in line.

Karen B.

Yelp
Their boba was so good! And they have a ton of options if you're like me and don't like tea but love boba drinks. i got the litchi lemonade smoothie and it was delicious.

Par A.

Yelp
I ordered the original milk tea with boba and thought it was ok. It definitely wasn't too sweet so if you like 'em sweet, ask to increase the sweetness or opt for the Tiger Tea. The boba was pretty good with a nice warm and chewy taste. My 3 star review is for the price; $8 for a medium was way too much. The same size drink in CA (& other parts of the country) usually cost under $6.
