K9 Haven

Chaffee County we’ve hit the jackpot with K9 Haven. They really care about the dogs and have curated this amazing experience so that it’s like the dogs have their own vacation. By the second boarding trip there, our dogs pulled very hard to get into the building and never looked back. That’s all I needed to know about K9 Haven. Our dogs each have their own quirks - one is a bossy and sweet chihuahua and the other is a gentle and easily frightened 50 pound mixed breed. Because of their quirks, I wasn’t comfortable leaving them just anywhere. But K9 Haven has taken the time to get to know them and they are thriving there. It’s a real treat to go on vacation and know your dogs are having more fun than if you had taken them along.

If you are looking for a place that will love your dogs like their own and keep them happy and safe while you are away, this is the place to go!! I have never had such an amazing experience before. My older dog can be a little fearful and my youngest pup is terrified of the world. But they both settled into K9 Haven like it was family. We were on a trip for 9 days and the crew uploaded daily pictures of them and you could just see the happiness and safety they provided. We couldn't make it back in time, and they easily accommodated an additional day for our pups. I will never take my dogs anywhere else or leave them with anyone else because this place has the heart and the facility to keep my pups happy and healthy.

K9 Haven is absolutely phenomenal! I’ve never been to a facility that is so friendly, and so loving towards my dog. I have zero worries leaving my dog for the day, or for multiple days, because I know he will be treated like family. The staff goes above and beyond, and the facility is so clean and welcoming. Could not recommend more!

K9 Haven is a brand new, beautifully run and maintained doggy paradise. My two dogs had a wonderful time here. They played all day with new doggy friends then cuddled up together at night as they love to do in their shared room. I picked them up after 5 days nicely bathed and tangle free which is not the case at most boarding facilities. I loved the many photos taken of them showing how happy and well cared for they were at K9 Haven. They look forward to their next visit

We boarded our great pyrenees here for the night while at a wedding. This was his first time away from us. He clearly had so much fun and getting videos and pics while he was away was so reassuring. We're definitely coming back.

K9 Haven is absolutely fantastic! From the moment I dropped off Bella, I felt completely at ease. The staff were so warm and welcoming, taking the time to ask about Bella's routine and quirks. The facility is impeccably clean and provides a comfortable and safe environment for the dogs. When I picked up Bella after 3 days, she was happy, well-exercised, and seemed to have had a wonderful time. I especially appreciated the updates I received during their stay, which really put my mind at ease. It's clear that the team at K9 Haven genuinely loves animals and provides exceptional care. K9 Haven has been such a blessing to me being relatively new to the Salida area. I had a bad experience with a past boarding facility and with Rover, so I was nervous. But they have been so wonderful and my pup always wags her tail when we arrive. They love to spoil our pets with options for playtime, walks, treats and pup cups, DogGurt frozen yogurt, and even a luxury bed for senior dogs like mine! Thanks K9 Haven for taking care of my best friend when I head out of town and sending pictures every day!
