K9 Haven

I boarded my dog, Solstice, here twice this year for longer trips and had such a great experience both times. The staff is genuinely caring and clearly loves him, which put me at ease right away. Solstice is a senior dog who needs a little extra care and attention, and he came home happy, tired, and well cared for every time. Communication was great, drop-off and pick-up were easy, and the whole place feels clean, safe, and well run. It’s such a relief to have a boarding spot I can trust. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!

Scheduled my first doggy daycare date today at K9 Haven. I am really impressed with the facilities and the staff. They offer a broad range of services and enrichment and they were helpful from registration to pickup. I can tell my doodles had a great time. The staff even took pictures and shared in Google drive. I’m so glad we have a quality boarding option in town.

Our two dogs stayed at K9 Haven while we were out of town for the week. The team was extremely warm and welcoming to the dogs, they were flexible when we had to extend our trip, and they sent us photos of the dogs every day. Highly recommend for anyone that needs a boarding or daycare option in the BV area.

Luffy had an amazing day at daycare! We were in the area camping and wanted to go to the hot springs for the day and K9 Haven took amazing care of my baby! I got picture and video updates throughout the day and he came back to me very happy and very ready for a nap. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a place that will love your dogs like their own and keep them happy and safe while you are away, this is the place to go!! I have never had such an amazing experience before. My older dog can be a little fearful and my youngest pup is terrified of the world. But they both settled into K9 Haven like it was family. We were on a trip for 9 days and the crew uploaded daily pictures of them and you could just see the happiness and safety they provided. We couldn't make it back in time, and they easily accommodated an additional day for our pups. I will never take my dogs anywhere else or leave them with anyone else because this place has the heart and the facility to keep my pups happy and healthy.

Chaffee County we’ve hit the jackpot with K9 Haven. They really care about the dogs and have curated this amazing experience so that it’s like the dogs have their own vacation. By the second boarding trip there, our dogs pulled very hard to get into the building and never looked back. That’s all I needed to know about K9 Haven. Our dogs each have their own quirks - one is a bossy and sweet chihuahua and the other is a gentle and easily frightened 50 pound mixed breed. Because of their quirks, I wasn’t comfortable leaving them just anywhere. But K9 Haven has taken the time to get to know them and they are thriving there. It’s a real treat to go on vacation and know your dogs are having more fun than if you had taken them along.

My dog, Laz, loves K9 Haven. Everyone I’ve met and interacted with has been so helpful, kind, and supportive even with my chaotic schedule. I love how they take pictures and videos of his play time and share them with me. I pay close attention to how my pup feels around certain people and how he acts when we go places and he’s excited every time we show up to K9 Haven. This is our doggy daycare home, can’t recommend them more!

Our Great Dane has stayed at K-9 Haven a few times now. They have been fantastic with her and great to work with. It is so comforting knowing she is in good hands when we are gone. I know she is living her best life when there, because she sleeps for 2 days straight LOL! Gratitude!
